Vodafone idea has been deducting money from my balance. Every month it deducts 7 rupees in the name of games and video services. I have never subscribed to any of these services and neither gave them any authorisation in any manner. Every now and then vodafone on their own start deducting money in the name of VAS. This is very sad that a huge company is doing scam on its customers.

    My VI number is fully recharged and somehow the balance is showing negative. It's a prepaid number. This is absurd on how can it go negative and now I'm unable to make calls or use data from my recharged pack of 2GB/day and unlimited calls. Cannot even call the customer care number. Pathetic. Screenshot attached for reference.

    I tried to reach the customer care via email as my outgoing call and data services had been cut off. In response to my email, they called me and told me that a recharge must be done to clear out the negative balance. Sure, but what was the reason for the negative balance. They didn't have any answer. I won't pay for any charges that I haven't taken any services for. This is a fraud. So, the executive said that he'll get back to me after finding the reason for the negative balance. And he never did. Instead he sent a mail saying I have to recharge to clear out the balance. But why, I have regular packs recharged, I have not used any services, then why VI has charged me. Screenshots of the conversation are attached. Personal information hidden for privacy.

      I had opted for international roaming for 28 days for my UK and USA trip. Though it worked in UK internationL roaming is not available in USA. It says no network. Please resolve and fix the problem. P. R. Venkataraman.

          I recharged my phone with an unlimited pack and after the recharge I can use the calling and messaging features but I am unable to use my internet as the network is present but whenever I am trying to use internet it shows sign in to vi or redirects me to some ip address 180.179.77.11/data-exhaust-alert so i have contacted vi customer care and they told me wait for 5 days. WTF isn't this is the worst reply to an customer. I am going back to jio

            I haven't request for any access to Handset Inbuilt Games yet today I got a message saying, "Thank you for choosing to access Handset Inbuilt Games. You have been charged Rs. 25". I have not requested for any such service, please sort this out as soon as possible.

              There has been repeated unauthorised deductions against my no. [protected]
              in the name of 'sports pack' despite my interactions with the Vodafone customer care executives.
              I ask for refund of the money they have fraudulently deducted from my account from April 2022 onwards.

                        Hello sir,

                        i have two vi sim no [protected], [protected], at jaipur, rajasthan, sir last 2 days i am not able to use any service on sim no [protected], like not make call, internet, i have also done recharge on this number . i am make call on your customer complaint number 199 many time, they always ask me that we have found some time technical issue on your number . the technical team was working on it . but they not solve my problem in 2 days . please tell me how i responsible for it . and can you do need full action on it or i complaint on consumer court and tri authority for your poor service and poor response...

                          Currently i am a Vi customer and is intending to port my number to a different cellular network service.

                          I am not able to get the unique portal code (UPC) from vodafone despite sending several port request to 1900.
                          Vodafone replies with, "Oops, you seemed to have typed a wrong keyword!" for each of the porting requests i sent. I have made sure that theres no mistake with keywords in the port request message.

                          I think VODAFONE is deliberately blocking my request to port.

                            On May 28 2022 i received an SMS stating that 25rs. Had been deducted from my balance for CHOOSING to access handset inbuilt games. I called the customer care immediately and was told that their server was down and i should call back after 4hours(which would have been 11pm). The issue was not resolved.
                            Then, today i received another message stating 5rs deducted for accessing video search service. Again, i called the customer service. To my surprise, today's charges were refunded. But the executive had the audacity of saying that i shouldnt have played the game in first place. That was despite of me repeatedly saying that i did not choose to access that said service. The final response i got was that i should have called after 4hours on May 28th. Had i called, the issue would have been resolved. But since it was more than 24hrs they could not refund 25rs.
                            Why is this company deducting money and then blaming customers only ?
