Vodafone don’t care for its customers altogether! This company act like a blackmailer rather than a service provider.

When I was in India we(the number is on my brother’s name because I am using this number so I'll be referring myself going forward) applied to port the number over to prepay. We applied the postpaid to prepaid port request in one of the vi mini store in our city. The first time there was some system glitch and we were asked to resubmit the documents.
We resubmitted the documents again. Later, I received three different calls from Vodafone to pursue me not to leave the postpay plan. They weirdly sounded so desperate to keep me on postpay.
When I told them that I am going outside India and just need to keep this number going. They gave me all sorts of offers to match the prices with prepay and what not but I clearly told them to port it over to pre-pay.
I was confident that my pre-pay sim will be activated. Two days after I left India. When the sim didn’t activate even after a couple of days so I enquired.

Guess what Vodafone didn’t activate my pre-pay sim. Why? I don’t know?

Now I am outside India both sims not working(prepaid not activated and postpaid not receiving any network)! I can’t easily connect to customer care because automated system asks for OTP. I can’t receive OTP because there is no network. I can’t even receive important OTPs which was the main motive to keep this number alive in the first place.

This week I got a bill! (For a number that is not even working) - 550 rupees!!
On top of that, I am told to buy a 149 plan to active international roaming if I wish to use sim outside India. (If I am not using sim from last one month then why I am billed?)

I raised a complain and somebody contacted me on Whatsapp. I told my issue to that CUSTOMER CARE representative - and he played the “Hello Hello I can’t hear you..’ game and later stopped responding to messages.

THIS IS THE LEVEL OF SERIOUSNESS VODAFONE SHOW TOWARD A CUSTOMER.

What’s my fault why should I pay a heavy price?
Why didn't they ported my number to prepaid?
Why can’t they now activate the prepaid sim I have with me?
If they can't activate the prepaid sim I have with me then match the prices with pre-pay.

    Dear sir
    I have take Vodafone roaming plan and presently staying in Thailand .
    Vodafone bill has come for 5260 rupee claiming that I have received the calls from India but in actual there is only one call which I have received and it's hardly 30 sec .
    The calls which are showing are non existent in my mobile .there is something fishy about this case .
    We are very clear we have not received these calls and all these calls are both operated calls .

      Vodafone is wrongfully charging me for VAS for which I have not subscribed. It's not the first time they are doing this. Everytime I get my phone recharged with top up the charge me unduly for VAS from my balance. That's why I don't recharge my Voda sim so often or with large amount. This is complete harassment and money they must be making by wrongfully charging millions of people. It's a theft. No action is being taken against them. What is the point of this stupid forum then.

        Some mydelight power deal pack is offer to me and an amount of 48 rupees has been deducted from my main balance twice in last two months.
        Hoping for a qiuck refund and to resolve this problem

            Active services are opted on own by Vodafone company and balance is deducted unnecessarily . 2 times gaming zone active services opted and 69 and 66.70 balance deducted.Attached screenshot.

                    Hi. I am getting calls for bill payment for a sim card which got transferred to someone else on 2018. I paid all the amount Vodafone quoted me while putting a request to get my sim back but neither did i get the sim nor did i get the money.
                    As my sim was linked onto many bank accounts and other digital payment service and some investments i incurred a loss there as well.
                    Now i get rude calls to some ₹230 for no reason. Please look into the issue.

                      I am Alapan Chakraborty, Tamajyoti Chowdary had purchased a post paid sim card. I lost the sim, Alternate Number:- [protected]. I cleared my bills, After more than 6 months o[censored]sing the sim card, I was about to block post paid sim card I called the customer care, as the customer care executive suggested that I need to pay the bill to block the sim card and also asked me to call him back as he will block the sim card for me. After paying the bill, I called him and he said he will block the sim card, for 2-3months no one called me from Vodafone, then again the company started to ask me to pay the bill, and when I said I paid the bill and asked one of the executive to block the sim card, they showed lack of responsibility, instead of solving my problem, they asked me who called me?, what was his name? I questioned them back how would I know customer care called me so many times, everytime a new executive calls, and I don't remember. They showed zero responsibility, and when I said it's fraud, they said they can't do anything about it, and when I asked why that particular executive didn't help me, all the other executive said they were not liable for that executive, then who is? I have paid my bill believing on the executive's word, I can't tolerate their everyday phone calls, it's more of a harassment now! Looking forward for help!

                        I received sms from VZ-ViCMS for deduction of Rs 25 for Contakt Gaming service on 18th of May, 2022 which I never opted for. They have charged me without my consent. Please refund back the charges.

                          Today (18th May, 2022) I received sms from VZ-ViCMS for deduction of Rs 20 for FUN PORTAL access which I never opted for. Similarly they deducted Rs. 25 for Contakt Gaming service on 9th of May, 2022 which also I never opted for. When I am calling to their customer care number, it says mobile network not available. I can see full network and use my internet service also. This is fraud from their end. I want my Rs 45 back. I am using this network since 2017 but seems like i need to port my sim to some other network provider if Vi robs their loyal customers like that

                          Atlast, after trying again and again, I was able to get connected with their ciustomer care representatives. They refunded me whole amount in 2-3 days

                              On May 17 10:06AM I got message saying that your balance 7rs has been deducted against "Games and Videos service".
                              I have never subscribed to any such service.

                              I tried to check if I subscribed to any such service by checking in VI APP. but i didnt found anything there.

                              I sent STOP message to 155223 which says that you haven't subscribed to any VAS service.

                              I tried calling call center but I think I can never reach them.
                              This is not the first time happened to me, his happened several times so i need to raise a complaint and need answer on this.

                              I want to know who allowed Vodafone to deduct my balance.
                              I never sent any message to Vodafone to activate nay service.

                              Vodafone is just looted my 200-300 balance from last 5-6 months, i need a proper answer

                                  I was recharged Vodafone with rupees 3099 online on dated 08/5/2022.
                                  The recharged was failed but the amount of rupees 3099 was deducted from my credit card and still on date 17/5/2022 i not refund the amount 3099.

                                      Myself Shriom Sharma generated UPC code for my VI mobile no [protected] on 11.05.2022 and the UPC CODE ( VH197178 ) was valid till 15.05.2022 till 23:59, I made a port request around 16:05 hrs of 15.05.2022 but VODAFONE IDEA rejected my MNP request. I contacted customer care number 198 and the representative said that my UPC code expired on 14.05.2022 (I can provide call recording).

                                      For more details please check the attachments.

                                      I request you to please take strict action against Vodafone IDEA for rejecting the MNP request wrongly so that they don't do this kind of illegal activity.

                                        Vodafone is charging me for service I never opted for or enabled. When I checked my account they have charged me multiple times on

                                        5 Mar, 2022 - Rs15 - Bcafe Portal
                                        15 Mar, 2022 - Rs20 - Games World
                                        26 Mar, 2022 - Rs25 - Contact Gaming Service
                                        11 Apr, 2022 - Rs7 - Games and Videos
                                        01 May, 2022 - Rs25 - Handset Inbuilt Games
                                        08 May, 2022 - Rs7 - Games and Videos
                                        16 May, 2022 - Rs75 - Cine Zone Videos

                                        That's a total of Rs 174 in a period of 2 to 3 months, and the funny thing is I don't even lift up my phone, I am an NRI and only use my VI India number for banking.

                                        They saw a pot of balance unused and decided to go for it scamming me. I saw that this is their pattern for charging fee and getting a huge pot of money by scamming and keep users chasing to get their money back. Very unethical and even fraudulent. I will port my number, its better to pay for services rather than pay these vodafone India scammers
