Myself, sunil bhattacharyya, a prepaid customer of vodafone having two connections since march 2016. Suddenly on 30/11/2018 i had received a notice / message from their customer care that plan validity of my sim cards would be expired after 11/12/2018 & 12/12/2018 respectively, if i do not recharge with mrp 24/-. Please be noted since i have a talk time balances of rs 140/- & rs.160/- with plan validity till 2024, i havn’t recharge with additional mrp 24/- till date.

While complaining with their customer care they told that vodafone decided to change / reduce the validity of sim card committed/agreed by them during offering new connection / porting of all pre-paid customers who do not have unlimited prepaid plans, thereby my outgoing services would be de-activated after 11/12/2018 & 12/12/2018 respectively in-spite of having balance of rs 140/- & rs.160/- respectively.

While complaining to appellate authorities of vodafone they also told the same that customers without having unlimited packs will not be able to make o/g calls even they have talk time balances but to recharge forcefully buying additional service validity recharge packs of mrp 24/- on every alternate 28 days in spite of having talk time balances otherwise their outgoing services will be de-activated.

Even the customers cannot purchase those service validity recharge packs using / debiting their existing talk time balances.

The customer care people are also threatening to withdraw the incoming facilities also 15days after outgoing service disconnection after forfeiting of rs.20/- from my talk time balances, if i do not buy additional service validity recharge packs of mrp 24/- on every alternate 28 days.

Can trai become helpful in favour of the customers against the above breach of trust / agreement of these service providers and impose requisite directions to them so that customers get their connections continued.

      Myself, santanu bhattacharyya, a prepaid customer of vodafone since march 2016. Suddenly on 23/11/2018 i had received a notice / message from their customer care that plan validity of my sim card would be expired after 25/11/2018 if i do not recharge with mrp 35/-. Please be noted since i have a talk time balance of rs 37.42 with plan validity till 2024, i hadn’t recharge with additional mrp 35/- and they have withdrawn all the outgoing facilities (Call / data / message) after 3 days i. E. On[protected].

      While complaining with their customer care they told that vodafone decided to change /reduce the validity of sim card committed/agreed by them during offering of new connection / porting of all pre-paid customers who do not have unlimited prepaid plans, thereby my outgoing services has been de-activated from[protected] in-spite of having balance of rs.37.42.

      While complaining to appellate authorities of vodafone they also told the same that customers without having unlimited packs will not be able to make o/g calls even they have talk time balances but to recharge forcefully buying additional service validity recharge packs of mrp 35/- on every alternate 28 days.

      Even the customers cannot purchase those service validity recharge packs using / debiting their existing talk time balances.

      Now after 10 days of outgoing service disconnection they are threatening to withdraw the incoming facilities also after forfeiting of rs.20/- from my talk time balances, if i do not buy additional service validity recharge packs of mrp 35/- on every alternate 28 days within[protected].

      Can trai become helpful in favour of the customers against the above breach of trust / agreement of these service providers and impose requisite directions to them so that customers get their connections restored.

        Dear sir

        I am a subscriber of vodafone mob no [protected]. On 9th november 2018, i received an sms saying i was charged rs. 35/- for vodafone tv all channel pack for my mobile no [protected] which was not requested by me. Today at about 8:53 am i have received another sms advising me that an amount of rs. 150/- has been debited from my balance towards vodafone tv all channel pack which again was not requested by me. Kindly note that these services are being forcibly put on me without even requesting for the same. Despite my advising that i am not interested in these services and without my permission services are being activated. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest.

          Dear whoever it may concern
          Hi myself prasath v, from cuddalore. I want to change location address from mumbai to tamilnadu cuddalore (Hometown) with the same mobile number ([protected]), for that, i went to vodafone store, they told to send message port 1900. I tried to send sms port 1900, it shows "message could not be sent" i really fed up with vodafone customer care also by speaking with customer care also they could not sort it out the issue. Because of this, i could not do any online transaction. I barely need help.

            My number's incoming as well as outgoing both has been stopped and I went to vodafone store and they gave me a option to do on post paid but I want my number back on prepaid and when I went to retailer I couldn't recharge my number. I called the customer care, but always gave a false assurance that my problem will be fixed by 1 hour they have been saying the same thing since 5 days but it's not fixed yet. Today also I tried to recharge of 67 but it was unsuccessful.
            The worst customer care services ever seen, always gives false assurance but doesn't fix the problem.
            I have been waiting since Saturday but they always says your problem will be fixed by 1 hr and you will be able to use the number again.

                I have port my sim number i. E [protected] from airtel to vodafone on 16 oct 2018. As discussed with miss pooja, a vodafone agent, her contact no is [protected], she offered me a plan of 199, having unlimited local+ std call 100 sms per day 40 gb roll over data and one year amazon prime subscription. After successfully portability, i came to know that there is no any plan of rs. 199 & a plan of 399 had activated on my number. Such type of case had happened with my friend niranjan upadhye [protected] but he cancelled his portability request looking at this. He then contacted one vodafone telecaller [protected] ([protected]@gmail.com) regarding the plan details, during the conversation they agreed to give the above plan but in mail there was no such plan in the mail.
                The kyc person who varified my identity whose contact no. Is [protected].
                I already mailed several times to nodal. [protected]@vodafone.com regarding for the same but they told that i am lying & signed a document of 399 plan, while i never singed any type of documents.
                I'll suggest to check the call records of the whole process and tally my signed, which is claiming by vodafone, because i have no evidence of it. Kindly look into this matter and help me out for this situation
                Giving false promises during conversation and not following them is a fraud. I hope you have understood the situation and will do the needful.

                  I am a vodafone prepaid ([protected]) customer. I noticed that my vodafone account was terminated even though i had 100+ rs balance in my sim.
                  I had to recharge with 35 rs and then again 35 rs to restore the service.
                  My question is that how can a company terminates your service when you have enough balance in your sim card.?
                  My mobile number is registered across various entities like banks, adhaar card... So if i loose my number or my account is terminated without any valid reason then who is responsible for this?

                      I am vodafone prepaid ([protected]) customer. On 27/11 i have received a sms from my service provider to recharge a minimum amount to avoid discontinued of my connection. Since i have a handsome account balance, i requested (Six emails to vodafone) them to debit the "rechargeable amount" from my account balance.
                      Vodafone paid no attention with my request and barred my connection on 28/11. On the same day myself recharged rs 35/- to restore my service.
                      My question, despite of your clear guideline, why vodafone refushed to adjust/debit their claimed recharge amount from my account balance!

                        Got a sms at 12.49pm today that I have initiated and completed a Vodafone postpaid bill payment for INR 130/-.

                        The number my mpesa wallet was used for was
                        Mobile phone number : [protected]

                        My mobile phone number is 8xxxxxxxxx

                        I called the toll free number[protected] immediately, but the customer care phone officer, told

                        1) she can do nothing. (then why is the number provided)
                        2) she asked if I had been to any mpesa store recently. I told her yes, but I couldn't recollect the exact particulars. She wants the exact address. I just asked her to close the account. But she kept insisting on the the address. I want the wallet closed at least to prevent further fraudulent activities.

                        What process are you following?

                        You can reverse the transaction, neither are you adhering to a complaint or closing the accounts.

                        I got another sms telling I had added Vodafone on my bank list. I haven't. This is a fraud. I want this to be resolved.

                          Vodafone has now openly started cheating its Consumers. Vodafone is displaying information on public domain but are committing fraud. My no. is [protected] and I have been cheated multiple times. My balances have been reducing drastically and today only I came to know of it. I have done recharge of Rs. 35 because in PAYTM & Freecharge the info displayed is that I would get Rs 26 talktime & the Local & STD rates would be 0.025 per second. But they are instead charging 2.5 per second for the same...
                          When I called their Customer Support they told me I am seeing it wrong. So I am attaching the info on the PAYTM & Freecharge portals along with this.

                            For past 2 months i ha e been billed over ₹700 for rs499 plan... I changed the plan last month as my usage is not much and bill raised was more still my plan was changed from 499 to 499 with only data changes... Their data connection is very poor and we hardly use that... Why would i need extra data when my concern was bill.
                            Their rep calls and talks in rude manner as to why their bill not paid... He was not only rude but unethical too... Vodafone is using bullies and boond to get their money back who must be trained to talk this way.

                            Dont fall prey to them.. They are big cheaters

                              Postpaid to prepaid migration raised and at the vodafone store on 17th nov, i did first time recharge and till yesterday my request of postpaid to prepaid not done, today my prepaid sim is not working, and where is my first time prepaid recharge amount???

                                I have been using my mobile number [protected] from past 5 years. But recently the number was blocked by vodafone after so much time.
                                The problem is that it is one such number which is linked to my aadhar and bank accounts too.
                                I am facing a lot of problem due to this and everytime i call a vodafone representative he suggests me to do something which don't work.
                                Kindly sort out this problem as i don't want to proceed to the next step of taking a legal action right now but after losing my patience i will be forced to take.

                                  I have received sms from vodafone stating "hi, you are on new plan wef 23oct18. To extend service validity by 28days recharge with rc24 or above"my prepaid plan was under life time validity wherein i only had to recharge for talk time. Now my validaty is showing 13/01/2019.

                                    I got a call from mob no: [protected] and introduced as promotion dept of amazon. She offered free gifts of iphone, fridge, laptop etc (Anyone) on purchase of items worth 5000/- but not from amazon site, only through her call & payment through the link she sends. I understood, it is a fraud and verified with amazon. They too confirmed that it is fraud. When i looked up for the location of this call, it shows kolkatta.

                                      My balance went to - 79 due to roaming charges, so i tried to recharge inr100 to cover it up, however i end up rexahreging inr100 via netbanking. I called 3 times to report a out incident to vodafone nodal officer, however they put blame on me for my mistake and said they cannot refund the money. They behaved so unprofessional over the call and not listing to the concern raised.

                                        At present both my post paid and prepaid sim number has no service.
                                        When my prepaid connection will be activated?

                                        How long i need to wait, yesterday night i got a messgae your prepaid sim will be activated in next 2 hrs, now its been almost more than 13 hrs.
