    Dear team am golthi vinod recently my number got deactivated and immediately paid my dues and had submitted my same customer allocation documents to nearest store satya sai communications mandapeta east godavari andhra pradesh after 3 days had visited the store for my number status they said that your number allocated to another store located in hyderabad but how they will get my number without my noc also had cleared my dues in last month also amount in rajahmundry main store.. My number is very important to me i had contacted nearest channel csm ms sirisha she had not responded and also had reached out to mr asm gulam rabbani he said that not belong to my zone
    With this hope this issue will clear if not so will approach to trai as well. Hope this issue will clear by with my alternate number [protected]

      Jayaram/[protected] (Vodafone executive has collected all the required documents along with aadhar biometric and 50 inr on[protected], but the port did not happend and jayaram is not responding to calls or sms. Again someother executive from vodafone has given a call asked for documets and money. My problem is not the money which jayaram has charged but the time and i did not receive the services / not switched to vodafone. How come vodafone keep such employees to do services which they dont do actually.
      When jayaram cant do the service why he has to waste my time and money. That too my documets are with him and he may mis utilise. Pls take action.

        I recharged on my vodafone no: [protected] a bonus card of rs 479 that too from your official my vodafone app on 6/11/18 around 6 pm. Amount has been deducted and the transaction was successful but no offer has been credited to my number. You guys are torturing customers no range or no data speed in our area (Even in ernakulam city too) still i'm using it so don't try to cheat me anymore. When i called your complaint head mistakenly i dialled the option for chotta credit within seconds it has been credited. You guys can't even cancel chotta credit. This is really disgusting i can't wait for another 7 days and then recharge again. Give me my money back within 1 day or else credit my number with the offer i have paid for. Everything has a limit so better don't try to cross that limit customers are not fools please do note that.

              On 22 October I contacted vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com to get some clarification on roaming requirements and whether I could avail of email notifications. As I'm based in KSA, I requested to be contacted on my number here, rather than the Indian number. (Refer to the picture Email[protected]

              I got a response explaining the TRAI requirements, but when I asked for further clarification, the case kept getting transferred from one support person to another. It spanned a total of 5 agents (Deonandan, Kanchan, Salman, Sayli & Shraddha) and each time, a new service request number would be generated --- even though I hadn't closed the previous ones since my issue wasn't addressed.

              One agent (Kanchan) actually sent me the steps to set up roaming on my phone, which I hadn't even asked for..!

              With nothing positive happening, on 1 November, I sent an email with my requirements in very clear English, which even a child would understand, and since then I have received no feedback from Customer Support, despite sending a reminder. (Refer to the picture Email[protected]

              It has been 15 days since I made my request but there's been no oucome, and now the Customer Support has stopped responding to me.

              There's little I can do from here in KSA, but then next time I'm down in Goa I plan to go to their branch office and make a complaint about this at their office.

              No further attempt to contact me was made by Vodafone --- despite my posting a complaint here this site regarding their response via Cusomer Support ([email protected]) However, once I contacted them via Twitter (@VodafoneIN) I received a call-back from the team, and got my queries answered.

              To update this there's been no communication to be from Vodafone --- either by email or phone --- since the day I posted my complaint here.

              I've written to them at vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com several times after I stopped getting feedback. While this results in an auto acknowledgement e-mail like this one in the picture, saying that someone from their side will respond within 4 working hours, no one has ever responded.

              If there's anything good to say about Vodafone, their auto acknowledgement system works properly...

              On 12 November, I received an email from support --- in response to one of the many complaints I made on the site --- and once again I presented the list of queries previously sent. (Refer to the 1st picture in the 1st post)

              Given that it was someone I hadn't interacted with before, I was hopeful that it would be resolved this time. But the very next day, I got a reply from one of the support personnel earlier involved, again providing general info and no clear response to my queries --- but this time bluntly stating that this was a final correspondence from them on the matter!!! (Refer to the 1st attached picture here, with the circled text)

              In response, I sent them a reply with a single statement to confirm --- after which I assured them that I wouldn't pursue it. (Refer to the 2nd picture here) The statement was: -

              'VODAFONE SUPPORT IS UNABLE TO CONFIRM OR CLARIFY THE POINTS YOU HAVE REQUESTED'

              If they send a confirmation on this I'll stop sending support more requests, since they'll have made it very clear that they aren't able to provide any assistance.

                Hi,

                I had been using vodafone for 14 years now but recently i experienced too much o[censored]nfair practices specially in the postpaid billing.

                I have two vodafone numbers — one for inr 399 plan and another for inr 299 (Discounted value for everyone — actual plan was inr 399).

                The vodafone mini store suggested that i should go for the family plan as i will get 10% discount in the overall bill and they will send just one bill for both the numbers. Hence i opted for the family plan.

                They gave 10% discount but the overall bill went up more than what i was paying in the past i. E., without the discount. On raising a complaint, they said that on the second number they removed the discounted price and now charging more — inr 399 without any added privileges.

                My question is:

                1. Why was it not informed to me before activating family plan on my number?

                2. Why all the vodafone customer service people do not speak the same language and not educated with the actual plan details?

                3. They said that the back end billing team rejected my complaint. My question is — if i am not making sense, why the first customer care executive listened to me and apologized and raised a complaint? He could have rejected my complaint saying that you are not entitled for discounted price once you opt for the family plan.

                4. The first complaint was raised on nov 2, 2018 and they sent me sms:

                Dear customer, your complaint has been noted. You will get a call from [protected]/[protected] for an update on the complaint.

                But they never called me to notify that the complaint was rejected. I had to call the customer care to find the details.

                I always had a faith in vodafone but now all the trust on it is gone. I don't recommend vodafone postpaid to anyone!!

                    I am loan officer in a public sector Bank and I am always getting prank calls from [protected] saying bad words then switching off for example he had called me yesterday to my official land line number [protected] at abt 11.30 am and was threatening me to Sanction loan against the rules of the bank or else he would cause injury to me..                       It was wonderful to have you as my service provider for 2 years in hyderabad. My name is suraj sanjay patil and i was using your services in hyderabad since the year 2106 if i am not wrong. I opened a post-paid account at your vodafone store located in raj bhavan road, somajiguda hyderabad. My mobile number was [protected] i had a great time using your services and i am very thankful to you for the same. Since the time the revolution happened in telecommunication sector when prepaid plans became life saviour for everybody i choose to opt for prepaid plan instead of post-paid and decided to close down my post-paid number as i was moving out of hyderabad forever. I already got another prepaid vodafone number in mumbai through my father [protected] and i am happily using the prepaid services of this number currently. On 29 august 2018 i made all my payments of my post-paid number [protected] and requested the costumer executive at vodafone store in raj bhavan to close down my number. They accepted my request took my sim card and ensured me that a request has been put to deactivate my number [protected] and told me that i will get confirmation call regarding deactivating my number on my registered mobile number at vodafone that was [protected]. I got calls from vodafone various times but after a month almost when i left the city and i reverted to those calls several times again and again informing that i have already put the request for deactivation at the vodafone store so kindly do that. One fine day i got a call from vodafone stating that i have a pending bill of 1200 ruppes and i was traumatized after that i was in a huge mental shock after listening to it speaking further i was told that a legal suit will be filled against me if i dont pay this bill. I explained that i am not using this number anymore and i deactivated this sim long back after august by submitting the sim at vodafone store. I am into a deep mental trauma that i have been cheated because i made my payments i subitted my sim back and still my sim was kept active or it was been used by somebody else at vodafone store god knows and now i have a bill of 1200 ruppes which i have been forced to pay if i dont then there will be a legal suit against me. Dear vodafone kindly tell me how ethical is this for doing this with me when i have not used your services when i have submitted back my sim like a resposible costumer at the vodafone store and still i have been charged a bill of 1200 ruppes this is total fraud. Just because of the lethargic nature and sit back attitude of your service executive that he forgot to deactivate my number after submitting the sim to him or he used that sim to generate a bill of 1200 ruppes on my head knowing that i will never get back to the store as iam leaving the city. Dear vodafone my whole family uses your services and we love you but this is very disheartening and very disappointing that has happened. Kindly investigate the whole matter and take necessary actions on this to do the justice. Iam sorry but not sorry that i will not pay this bill as i have not used the services and if right steps are not taken to wave off this unnecessary charges which cheatingly have been put on me i ll stop using your services i have 6 members in my family and we all use vodafone and trust me i ll close all those six numbers and choose other operator who are more ethical and professional in thier work and respect values like honesty transperency and truthfulness.

                        Recently I activated I-Roam pack for France. I was in place called NICE in France. But since the place is near to Monaco (bordered) it caught Monaco network.
                        I should be charged 500/- per day but I was charged 39000/-

                        I have following points

                        1) Its not my fault. Its Vodafone fault, it caught Monaco network when I am in NICE (FRANCE)

                        2) When I subscribed to Vodafone roaming they mentioned about it will stop immediately if charges exceeds to 4000 Rs to avoid bill shock. If my phone catches some other network what is my fault?. Why vodafone did not stop my phone when I bill exceeded due to their network fault

                        3) Where is bill shock protection?

                        4)Why was my consent not seeked before latching me on any network which I did not ask to be latched on? (as per TRAI regulation)

                        5) The Vodafone Customer Care team informed me of my Credit Limit of Rs. 9000/-. Why were my services not suspended after exceeding credit limit? DUE TO TECHNICAL FAULT OF VODAFONE NETWORK?

                        When I asked these question they said they will give 20% Waiver. Why I should be charged if it is not my problem.

                        This is serious issue with Vodafone.

                          I have been intending to deactivate my vodafone sim for a long time without any avail. The services are very poor. And for the poor services i am charged approximately rs. 700 everyday.

                          I have been complaining to the service centre for a very long time. They are delaying the whole thing without proper communication. I am unsatisfied with the service and do not intend to pay high bills for the netwrok provider.

                          Vodafone has left me greatly dissatisfied. They have very poor customer service and their response is nil for everything. I would not recommend anyone to use vodafone as their network provider.

                          Please look into the issue and resolve at the earliest.

                          There is any way to get lifetime validity for my prepaid sim?

                            We were in mauritius between 11th to 18th aug. Knowing the fact that there is no vodafone iroam pack, we ensured that our phones were never online, unless on wifi. We had only enabled sms pack of inr 149/- which only talks about incoming sms not being charged.

                            My 2 year kid has a habit of viewing youtube videos while eating. Knowing this fact, all her favorites were already downloaded. Below is a series of event that happened.

                            15th aug 2018, as per our schedule, we were in a hotel for dinner. Since there was no wifi coverage, we had ensured the phone is in offline mode before handing over the cell to our kid.

                            As per my understanding, around 8:25 pm mauritius time i. E. 9:55 pm ist, accidentally, my kid disabled airplane mode and was browsing online. I do not deny this fact.

                            However below is the questions i have been asking vodafone, for which i do not have answers till date. Thus i am not paying my bills. If any of the below questions asked are not genuine, no one from vodafone, has been able to help me understand the same.

                            1. There were alerts being recorded in the vodafone system on real-time basis which says i have been utilising my data on 15th aug 9:57 pm to 10:16 pm. The sms were recorded at an interval of 2 mins during the real-time usage by my kid. Knowing the fact that i am in a non-iroam country without a data pack, vodafone still continues billing me for the usage.
                            If my credit limit is inr 3000, i have already exceeded the same on first 20 mb. Ideal cases, when you exceed your limit, the out-going features are stopped. Vodafone talks about a continuous session billing, but the same is referenced only for voice calls and not for data in any documents of t&c.in addition, the usage intimation sms though were recorded on real-time basis, were never delivered.

                            2. Had my card been a pre-paid card, my outgoing would have been stopped immediately. I have experienced this in my pre-paid number in 2013. On asking a question why was it not done on my post-paid connection, they mention a dynamic credit rating. As per the guidelines, its vodafone’s discretion to give a dynamic credit. However, logically and by all practical means, you can increase the credit of a number by 10x and not 70x, without a consent or approval from the user.

                            3. I have an email from vodafone stating my outgoing was “temporarily restricted” until further notice on billed usage of inr 54, 630/-. Then why my bill came up to 1.8l?

                            4. The point related to cdr delayed billing in t&c, talks about i being liable to pay when there is a delay in reporting data. However in my case, when it was a real-time reporting, still there was no action taken and i am being penalised for the same. Is this justified?

                              Hi vodafone deducted to -75 ([protected]) without my permission activated international roaming this is not first time its happening, last year they deducted 200 saying internet was activated fact its was not done by me. Last time ignored after multiple chaser and ignored last time
                              And cc care and supervisor is very arrogant will not resolve query even after multiple chasers (Have record of conversation)
                              And even email was not responded.
                              This time i seriously want to take this to consumer forum even though matter of 200 rs on cheating and unethical practice.

                                My mobile plan has been automatically changed without my permission which genarated high bill amount. Cystomer care told its done by backend team and we are not responsible for this. They are unable to connect me to backend team. This is not acceptable. Please consider this as fraud by vodafone. Without customer consent vodafone shouldnt do it. I suspect this as scam.

                                  For the past 4 days i cannot send messages.. So i called customer care executive and they said it'll be resolved within 2 hours, but it didn't.. Next time they asked me to visit vodafone store, and hence i visited vodafone store, but they told me to talk to customer care executive again.. But nobody has the answer of why messages were barred and how and when it'll be unbarred.. After this pathetic service, i'll have to port the service provider.

                                    This is to bring to your notice that in the month end of october 2018 self made a recharge amount to ruppee 2780 near about which is for an international roaming recharge as self going out of country due to some personal work however as soon as i catch my flight from mumbai to singapore my mobile network went off automativally, so self managed to raised a complaint after calling vodafone customer care for which they informed us to wait for next 24 hrs so i waited. On the next day when we try to get an update on the raised complaint they again inform us to wait for next 24 hrs and it keeps on happening for 3 consequitive days and just because of this self have faced a huge monetory loss. At the end self loose hope that vodafone customer care people will be able to help him and thats stand correct. My phone network didn't turn on on the entire trip and was finally started automatically when trip comes to an end when self finally reaches to mumbai.

                                        Hi,

                                        Vodafone deducted the amount from [protected] for a service. But i did not ask for any service. They wrongly put a plan to this number and deducted rs 21 from main balance. Is this the way one should treat their reliable customers? I am using this number from my starting days. Recently they have started cheating.

                                        Also, earlier they applied normal call rate though promo was already there.

                                        Vodafone deducted money from [protected] for 3 times.

                                        1. 24 rs
                                        2. 39 rs
                                        3. 21 rs.

                                        The way they are harrassing is unacceptable. I want my money back, that's it. Otherwise will leave vodafone and select any other company.
