I was charged rs.602 excess amount on my vodafone postpaid number, where they have mentioned that i have called to a special number 51717. They have mentioned that i spoke for 43mins. When i complained to there executive they don't have any idea about this number. Suprisingly none of the executives has any idea. Also there are no such vas services activated on my mobile number. This number is also not mentioned in my outgoing call list of my bill.
It is really unfortunate and unethical practice by vodafone which i have experienced for the first time in my life.

    I am a pre paid (458/-) customer of vodafone, today 11th nov 2018 suddenly they (Vodafone) activate a game to my number without any activation request from me and add rs 20/- on my rental.

    And after that message for various service activation arrived but due to low balance the amount wasn't deducted.

    This happened with me second time. Before few months also they activated various services automatically and then I called the service centre but only some amout was refunded.

    Please take action against vodafone.

      number, its nonsense I didn't activated any services and even I don't let others touch my phone .last week Rs 49 was deducted and today again Rs49 was deducted .So please return my money back .

        On 30th october 2018 at 12:14 am i received a message saying "indiansafari pack is not active on your number, as requested". They deducted rental of rs. 90 for 30 days for the same. I never requested any such pack and therefore called up customer care on 30th october at 10:41 am and told them that i didn't activate any such pack and requested them to refund my deducted balance. The lady on the other side told me to call after 4 hours as the systems were down due to a technical problem.
        I made the next call on 1st nov at 12:07 am and again asked them the same. The person on the other side told me that i had to call them within 24 hours to get a refund and now no refund will be possible. I asked him to connect me to his manager and when he did, i just kept hearing ringing tone and no one picked up from the other side for 10 mins and i disconnected the call. I again called up on 11th nov at 12:05 pm and requested to transfer to their manager and this time after putting me on hold for transferring the call, they disconnected the call from their side. I have called up vodafone customer care enough number of times now and hence lodging a formal complaint against them for this unfair balance deduction.
        I want to get full refund of rs. 90 for activation of a pack which i never requested.

          They are only selling postpaid sims and very few places to get a prepaid sim, thereby forcing me to take postpaid sim for rs.499/- and gave me a rs.100/- discount which was not given at the billing and charged rs.499 + taxes. When i raised a complaint then they gave rs.100/- discount after two months (Jan and feb 2018) of sim activation. My mobile usage is very less so i wanted to convert to prepaid but they said i have to go vodafone store the nearest was 4 km away, with great difficulty i went to the store and asked them they said a minimum of 3 months in postpaid is must (Which they didn't say at the time of taking sim) and gave me a basic plan of rs.200/- with rs.50/- discount. But after few months there was a value added service of rs.75/- added to my plan which i didn't requested for and they said it was added by some third party (And didn't gave any clarification on who it was and how it got activated) so it seems to some kind of scam third party which they knew but didn't took any action and i had to pay for that (For 5 months from june 2018 to october 2018) and after that again i have seem a sudden spike in my bill for rs.582/- (Sep 2018 bill cycle), when i contacted them regarding that they said i have used internet of 25 mb and again in the next month i was charged rs.482/- (October 2018 bill cycle) saying that i have used internet of 18mb. I wasn't sure how it happened because my mobile internet is always off in phone settings and i am only person who use my phone. The concern being with the current high speed 4g internet the bandwidths are very high (14-16 mbps) and if the postpaid user is not having a data plan then at a price of 1paise/kb by the time a person sees that and switch off mobile internet he will easily loose more than rs.1000/-. So what am i saying is first they deliberately reduced the availability of prepaid sim and thereby forcing us take postpaid sim and then increased even the basic plans with minimum internet to rs.399/- + taxes and even if someone chooses not take a internet pack charging them heavily with high data rates and doing so they are forcing to go for plans with higher prices (They even suggested me to take basic internet plan for rs.399/- when i called customer care). As a consumer i feel that i am exploited because they making me pay for more than what is required for me.

            It's truly a robbery by Vodafone.!! Just activating a service by themselves and stealing money! Not able to even discontinue! Multiple attempts to discontinue has failed and they have deducted money from my balance multiple times by self renewing. Disgusted with this meagre service notch of this giant company!

              I contacted a vodafone executive regarding the post call notification problem. I was told that they can't be stopped.
              I find these notifications very irritating. I believe that i should be able to choose whether i want my balance information after every call and message or only when i desire.
              I have tried sending npcn to 111 (The solution to this problem according to some websites) but any of my messages won't e sent to 111.

                I have a vodafone postpaid number, [protected], which i am not using since last 1 year every month i have paid 600/- without any use, have tried closing the sim connection n number of times but never got positive feedback,
                I stopped paying amount since last 5 months, vodafone agents are calling me daily and irritating, without any use of services why should i pay amount.

                Requested to look into it and help me to way off the charges and close the sim connection permanently.

                  I recently ported to vodafone postpaid from airtel postpaid. Since it is postpaid they asked me to verify address given, which could not be possible as i am out of station due to diwali holidays. They messaged me and said that verification has been failed and submit security amount rs 250/- (Although i received my sim card through voda agent who came to deliver the same at the same address they are not able to verify). Still i paid the security amount. Again the next (8/11/2018) day same msg that number has not been verified and contact store (Which i still am not able to as being out of station). I called them and explained the issue and assured that as son as i return (In 10 days) will visit the store in the state my number is from, so give me extension of 10 days only. They assured that ok. The same day (9/11/2018) at around 4 pm my sim card stopped showing any signal. I inquired and got to know they have stopped the service over my number and won't resume in any case until i visit the voda store in delhi ncr (Since the connection is from there). They will not give me 10 days nor they agreed on visiting gujarat store (Where i am currently). My number is out of service for last almost 10 hours.

                  Mobile number is [protected] on which issue is happening.

                  I want my services to start asap and compensation to the all the hassles i am facing.

                    I had submitted my aadhar card, photo, letter of authorization and owner's pan card for migrating postpaid to prepaid
                    After initial arguments they accepted the document but now my sim is blocked.when I tried to contact customer care they replied that documents are not submitted
                    I think they have issued a SIM with my documents and using it personally
                    Today, I could not do bank transfer as OTP got blocked, it was needed for medical purpose.

                      I switch my network from vodafone to jio due to network issues and low net speed.
                      i cleared my bill which was send to me.. n then i got approval for my porting.
                      but after 3months my jio network got disconnected due to overdue of vodafone bill nor even i was previous informed that they will disconnect my network..
                      2days back i got a msgs of 320rs bill and today it was 202rs..
                      what is this ### going on..
                      lot of time i tried caling vodafone CUSTOMER CARE but all time they said i cant provide u with this information.
                      i have wasted alot of this in this.
                      n y should i waste my more time by going into gallery?

                        This is regarding the rude behaviour if vikas at the vodafone gallery, powai. He refused to work and complained to the security about his fellow employees going on a break, all in front of me. He did not have his name badge on, so i had to ask another employee named ajay for his name. When i waited for about 15 min and no one to attend to me, i walked out of the store. He very well knew that his attitude and rude behaviour irritated me but let me walk out. He did not even bother asking if he could sort out my problem. This disappointed me. I think i now know why vodafone is loosing alot of its customers.

                              Dear team am golthi vinod recently my number got deactivated and immediately paid my dues and had submitted my same customer allocation documents to nearest store satya sai communications mandapeta east godavari andhra pradesh after 3 days had visited the store for my number status they said that your number allocated to another store located in hyderabad but how they will get my number without my noc also had cleared my dues in last month also amount in rajahmundry main store.. My number is very important to me i had contacted nearest channel csm ms sirisha she had not responded and also had reached out to mr asm gulam rabbani he said that not belong to my zone
                              With this hope this issue will clear if not so will approach to trai as well. Hope this issue will clear by with my alternate number [protected]

                                Jayaram/[protected] (Vodafone executive has collected all the required documents along with aadhar biometric and 50 inr on[protected], but the port did not happend and jayaram is not responding to calls or sms. Again someother executive from vodafone has given a call asked for documets and money. My problem is not the money which jayaram has charged but the time and i did not receive the services / not switched to vodafone. How come vodafone keep such employees to do services which they dont do actually.
                                When jayaram cant do the service why he has to waste my time and money. That too my documets are with him and he may mis utilise. Pls take action.

                                  I recharged on my vodafone no: [protected] a bonus card of rs 479 that too from your official my vodafone app on 6/11/18 around 6 pm. Amount has been deducted and the transaction was successful but no offer has been credited to my number. You guys are torturing customers no range or no data speed in our area (Even in ernakulam city too) still i'm using it so don't try to cheat me anymore. When i called your complaint head mistakenly i dialled the option for chotta credit within seconds it has been credited. You guys can't even cancel chotta credit. This is really disgusting i can't wait for another 7 days and then recharge again. Give me my money back within 1 day or else credit my number with the offer i have paid for. Everything has a limit so better don't try to cross that limit customers are not fools please do note that.

                                        On 22 October I contacted vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com to get some clarification on roaming requirements and whether I could avail of email notifications. As I'm based in KSA, I requested to be contacted on my number here, rather than the Indian number. (Refer to the picture Email[protected]

                                        I got a response explaining the TRAI requirements, but when I asked for further clarification, the case kept getting transferred from one support person to another. It spanned a total of 5 agents (Deonandan, Kanchan, Salman, Sayli & Shraddha) and each time, a new service request number would be generated --- even though I hadn't closed the previous ones since my issue wasn't addressed.

                                        One agent (Kanchan) actually sent me the steps to set up roaming on my phone, which I hadn't even asked for..!

                                        With nothing positive happening, on 1 November, I sent an email with my requirements in very clear English, which even a child would understand, and since then I have received no feedback from Customer Support, despite sending a reminder.                                         It has been 15 days since I made my request but there's been no oucome, and now the Customer Support has stopped responding to me.

                                        There's little I can do from here in KSA, but then next time I'm down in Goa I plan to go to their branch office and make a complaint about this at their office.

                                        No further attempt to contact me was made by Vodafone --- despite my posting a complaint here this site regarding their response via Cusomer Support ([email protected]) However, once I contacted them via Twitter (@VodafoneIN) I received a call-back from the team, and got my queries answered.

                                        To update this there's been no communication to be from Vodafone --- either by email or phone --- since the day I posted my complaint here.

                                        I've written to them at vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com several times after I stopped getting feedback. While this results in an auto acknowledgement e-mail like this one in the picture, saying that someone from their side will respond within 4 working hours, no one has ever responded.

                                        If there's anything good to say about Vodafone, their auto acknowledgement system works properly...

                                        On 12 November, I received an email from support --- in response to one of the many complaints I made on the site --- and once again I presented the list of queries previously sent. (Refer to the 1st picture in the 1st post)

                                        Given that it was someone I hadn't interacted with before, I was hopeful that it would be resolved this time. But the very next day, I got a reply from one of the support personnel earlier involved, again providing general info and no clear response to my queries --- but this time bluntly stating that this was a final correspondence from them on the matter!!! (Refer to the 1st attached picture here, with the circled text)

                                        In response, I sent them a reply with a single statement to confirm --- after which I assured them that I wouldn't pursue it. (Refer to the 2nd picture here) The statement was: -

                                        'VODAFONE SUPPORT IS UNABLE TO CONFIRM OR CLARIFY THE POINTS YOU HAVE REQUESTED'

                                        If they send a confirmation on this I'll stop sending support more requests, since they'll have made it very clear that they aren't able to provide any assistance.
