My mom is using a vodafone sim from last several years, few months back she linked her number with adhaar card. Again, after few weeks she was asked to linked again, which she did though. Last month, when she visited the vodafone centre for recharge, she was again asked to link number with adhaar, when she went to office after 2 days to get it linked, a different employee told her its already linked and sent her back. Again for the fourth time, when she visted for recharge, she was told that her number will be deactivated within few hours if she doesn’t switch from prepaid to postpaid and link it with adhaar which means every month she has to pay more bill than earlier. I want to know why vodafone is doing this? Are the employees doing this to fullfil their target by looting innocent people? I believe this practice is against the law to force customers to switch from prepaid to postpaid. I appreciate your earliest reply.

    I am shweta sutar, using number [protected] since long time. I had been to latvia, europe. Activated my roaming on may 30, dint get data services there. When i came back to india, i called customer care on 5 june, the csr told me my internet would be activated in an hour. It dint get activated, then i called on 6th june for the same issues, i was informed that i need to wait for bill to be generated and then only my issue would be resolved. When i called on 7th, i was told i used 2g services in international roaming and i was charged rs. 5000.

    I told them i dint data services when i was in latvia, i was using wifi due to data unavailability. Then i got my bill of rs.8000 and i called customer care and they told me they have raised the request to billing, i called again on 12, then 13, my billing dispute wasn't resolved and i requested port out on 14th because my billing dispute wasn't resolved. I asked how much i had to pay for port out, they told me if i pay rs.8050 + my rental then i can port out. Later same day i received a call from retention department asking for reason for port out. I told entire billing dispute, she said she will activate my internet in 2 hours and give me reversal of 2g usage amount by 16 june and asked me to wait. Today morning my outgoing is barred and it shows a 2g usage of rs.19000/-. When i visited vodafone store of manpada thane, they said they don't know why i am charged rs.19000/- and i need to pay the bill and wait till next bill is generated.

    There is only one thing i want to say that vodafone is big cheater and instead of solving my dispute, charged me more so you guys can cheat and earn from consumer.

    Thank you team for this swift action on my complaint. Vodafone representative Sajeev called me and lied to me that Latvia country does not have 2G & 3G services and it has only 4G network there. I have used 4G services. I have recorded the conversation and he said I will have to pay this amount because I have used it. He has threatened me that I will need to pay the amount for entire amount even though I have used or no. I dint know that Vodafone has such customer care people, actually he lied that he was from waiver department, he was from collections department of Vodafone. In my app it shows me that its 2G charges, he accepted that no one can open even browser or whatsapp or facebook using 2G network and also mentioned that he could see my itemised bill on his screen. He kept placing my call on hold. I told him entire issue from 5th of June till date. He denied that he couldnt see anything in detail on those calls wrapped for my billng dispute in vodafone billing system. My question to vodafone is why would I pay if you could not give me 4G services when I was in roaming and you are charging me and giving me false commitments and threatening me to pay the amount which I have not used. I have told the executive that I will visit their lower parel headoffice and show everything to the corporate office. I asked him the reason why my dispute wasnt resolved before, as I was complaining since 5th of June. He dint have any answer to that as well.
    He lied to me that I used 4G network in Latvia on roaming, I agree to pay for my international roaming calls and rental but not 2G data charges as I dint get any network there and go error "Data connectivity lost since you have left the home network".

    He still kept saying that whichever data services I used I will have to pay the amount and they wont give me waiver. If Vodafone could not give me data services there and still charging me I wont pay. I really seek some justice over here, when network operator are charging me when they couldnt give me services. My calls are barred and data is disconnected since May 31, 2018.eyuw

        Since i have converted my mobile number from idea to vodafone.
        But i facing the network problem worst to worst.

        Some times is not reached to receiver and some times receivers voice is not reached to me.

        Network towers is not come on completion basis.

        Please reimburse my money and i want to again port my number.
        Very bad network.

            Dear sir slowly it has been almost 40-45 days that i could not use internet in my vod no [protected] properly harldly i can use 100 mb instead of 1.4 gb daily why they are making us fool still my problem of internet is same as before no any progress i got till now i got so many mails from vodafone i apology what will i do comp apology if i give him apology please this month i am not going to recharge my apology.will they think about that than never they will bear a days even and i am bearing this thing from a month...

            I can hardly use internet services facebook whatsapp etc you give me straight and final answer that are you capable to make it right or not because there is a tower of vodafone in my company and 26 collegues as well all they will change thier service provider becoause of me... So kinly answer me soon or resolve my problem because i have recharged so i have to bear it till recharge end i have to recharge only 100 rs o[censored]nlimited call because i am continiously only for calling not for internet. i AM SUFFERING THIS SERVICE JUST BECAUSE OF 200 RS BALANCE IN MY SIM AND 509 RS RECHARGE WHICH I HAVE DONE OTHERWIISE WHO IS GOING TO WISH THIS REDICULIOUS SERVICE AFTER 40-45 DAYS WITHOUT SOLVING ISSUE.

            My voda no [protected] has been shutdown without any information at starting i thought that it is network issue but later when i could not retrive my network than i could realize that it has been shut down . actually my adhar no was attached with that sim card when i bought that but now it has been closed this is ridiculous kind of act done by voda . my contact id is [protected]@gmail.com

              I am your post paid customer having number [protected] since 3 1/2 years and for the last 2 months i am receiving phone call from[protected] from a lady stating that govt courier has come and she is giving one idiotic person number (Who is introducing himself as lawyer). The team is harassing me as if i have defaulted my payments and forcing me to come to the court. Please check my account and tell me any balance is to be paid for my account, i am damn sure my bill is updated on time everymonth. For this reason i have given request to port my number to airtel. But, still these people are torturing me and giving mental stress. You are instructed to avoid such nonsense activity else i am forced to initiate legal action against the people concerned.

                Dear sir/madam,

                I have using your services [protected] on this no. I have converted that number from postpaid to prepaid. After 2 months i have received one bill rs. 850/-. My complaint is about your billing services.

                At the time of prepaid, your executive told me, if i not paid full amount then it will not transfer in prepaid. So i have already paid my all outstanding with some extra amount, that extra amount also update on my prepaid account.

                Now, the problem is, you disconnect my connection saying that you have an outstanding bill. How is it possible?
                I have 2 connections already and you where provided best services.
                I will not pay any extra amount and will not disconnect this number.

                Kindly look into this.

                    I am almost one year old customer.
                    Last month i changed post paid plan and got informed that i will be charged 199 rs but i got extra 99 rs charged which i was not informed also for two days late taking 100 rs from me.
                    And when i am insisting customer care to reduce amount that are rude and telling me we will give you monthly one gb data only for 199 rs.
                    Other provides are giving daily 1 gb and you the worst service provider just taking money from old customers and giving 1 gb monthly

                    This is worst service provider and i am gonna post call recording on facebook, twiiter and youtube.

                    Reduce my bill by 99 + 100 late payment fees else i will discontinue our service and suggest my all friend circle not to take worst service provider aka vodafone.

                      I submit a request to port my aircel sim at 02/05/2018 on dhubri branch.

                      They have no active my sim card.
                      There have no response employee. They paly with customer. They have no understand and doing proper duty.
                      After submit the request i am visiting the vodafone branch to till today. They informing me there have link issue so they no checking my sim card activation status. I meet two employee there 1/debolina mazumdar

                        My internet is not working since i recharge my internet pack on 8th of this month.. I couldn't enjoy the service at all as there weren't any. There is no tower in my location, absolutely zero connectivity. Forget internet, you can't even call. Other services like jio... Airtel n idea networks r good... But voda networks r very very poor... Solve my problem asap otherwise give me refund of rs 396 for my recharge ty

                          I am from varanasi and i am not able to send sms through my vodafone mobile number even after linking it to my adhaar card. I went to the vodafone store where i got it linked and they are asking me to take my id to some far away vodafone office and get it activated.

                          Why do i have to take my id if the phone is linked to my adhaar, and i know that it's linked to my adhaar because i got an sms saying so.

                          Vodafone is screwing their customers in some or other way, last time they pwned me for 200inr because they didn't care to mention that the monthly plan that gives you free calls and 1gb per day internet will deduct your account balance once 1gb for the day is over unlike other companies whose speed gets reduced.

                          So, i won;t visit some service center and waste my time, it would be better if you fix this problem, otherwise if i were to visit service center, i will get my number ported to other operator that very day!

                            आपको सूचित करते हुए मुझे बड़ा दुःख हो रहा है कि इतनी बड़ी कम्पनी में कोई सुन नहीं रहा है., मेंरा न.[protected] जो पहले रिलायंस कंपनी में था, विगत 6 माह से वोडाफोन (आपकी) कंपनी का उपयोग कर रहा है हु.
                            में 6 माह पहले रिलायंस कंपनी के सरदारपुरा स्टोर उदयपुर (राजस्थान) पर गया था वहा पर बेठे आपके एग्जीक्यूटिव ने बताया कि रिलायंस कंपनी का हमारी वोडाफोन कम्पनी के साथ टाई अप हुआ है, तो आप अपना नो. वोदफोन पर पोर्ट करा दीजिये, मेने कहा BSNL, AIRLTEL में पोर्ट करा लेता हु, तो आपके एग्जीक्यूटिव ने कहा सर न.. बंद हो जाएगा, आप पोस्टपेड ले लीजिए बेस्ट प्लान है.लाइफ टाइम के लिए (लाइफ टाइम इन्कोमिंग, आउटगोइंग डाटा फ्री, 299+gst =352 rs bill आएगा प्रति माह, मेने कहा प्रीपेड बेस्ट रहेगा, तो आपके एग्जीक्यूटिव ने कहा सर आप 3 माह बाद बदल लेना, और मेने न. पोर्ट करा लिया.

                            अभी अचानक मेरे मई माह का बिल 470 Rs.आया तो मेंने कॉल सेंटर पर कॉल किया, तो उन्होएँ कहा प्लान नहीं बदल सकता है.ओके तो में पंचवटी UIT udaipur स्टोर पर गया (7 मई) तो उन्होने कहा आपकी शिकायत मेल पर भेज डी है, आपको 72 HOURS में जबाब मिल जाएगा .
                            मेने 8 मई को कॉल सेंटर पर कॉल किया तो उन्होएँ कहा आपकी प्रॉब्लम समाप्त हो जाएगी.
                            जब आज 11 MAY को कॉल सेंटर पर कॉल किया तो आपके एग्जीक्यूटिव कहते है को आपकी तो कोई शिकायत नहीं है. इसका मतलब मुझे सभी ने बेखुफ़ बनाया.आप मेल कीजिये .
                            मेने नेट से नोडल ऑफिसर विनीता जी ([protected]) को कॉल किया तो फोन पिक अप नहीं किया, mumbai call[protected] किया तो उन्होंने [protected] पर बात करने को कहा, उन्होएँ कहा आपके न. को में अगले 6 माह के लिए 100 DISCOUNT करा दुगा लेकिन मई माह का आपको देना होगा.
                            आपसे नम्र निवेंदन है कि मेरा बिल कि राशि को 470 Rs में हटाकर 352 कि राशि कि जाए.
                            बात 100 Rs कि नहीं है, आप बता कर राशि लीजिये, और आके एएग्जीक्यूटिà¤... को कहिये कि मिस सेल्लिंग ना करे.आप जानते है बाज़ार में कितना कम्पटीशन है, कृपया अपने कस्टमर को मजबूर न करे कि वह दूसरी कंपनी के पास जाए..वर्तमान में मेरी फॅमिली के 16 मेम्बर 10 न.आपकी कंपनी के उपयोग कर रहे है.

                              My vodafone number was blocked for sms. I asked to customer care they said that i need to register with trai. Actually i did not do any kind of marketing.
                              I did speak 3 times to customer care. But result remain same, they said that "we can not help you, you should have register with trai as tele marketer". But i am not a tele marketer and i did not send any marketing message and i used to send messages to well known friends only. Vodafone is not maintaining good relationship with customer. More than 10 years i have been customer of vodafone. But they did not inform and not giving any warning but suddenly they stopped service. Very very poor...

                                Hi, i'm manisha prakash karekar. I am a post paid subscriber of banglore circle of vodafone. Recently i have been transferred to mumbai hence i approached a vodafone store store of vodafone on 28/5/2018 for porting my number. I visited the store 3 times for activation of new sim. My number was ported on 04/06/2018. Now when i call i am directed to tele verification. I think i made a wrong decision to port the number in vodafone. The attitude of support team is deplorable. Their service is below par. My sim is not activated yet. Kindly look into the matter.

                                  Myself had visited on 7/06/2018 to the store cannought place, cidco, aurangabad. Store bearer sonali gaikwad, was not responding properly and kept my work incomplete, saying that it was closing time. Infact there was still time left. Very bad experience in providing customer help & behaviour. She was not good at conversation. Vodafone should look for good and well activated store officers.

                                    ​ Refer to the trailing mail, as per your requirement we had sent No Objection letter of Company along with it Identy proof, address proof, VODAFONE last bill and GST registration of the company . today on 13 June 2018 at 16.48 hrs
                                    ​We very much regret in informing you that, when we handed over the documents at your Vodafone store in Park Street to the representative of Vodafone named Mr.Swarup Ghosh, He behaved rudely with our one of the partner and told him this mail is not acceptable, thus these documents are also not acceptable .

                                    We request you to kindly look into the matter and change the name to our Comppany's name if not done than we will have no option but to suite a case of harassment by Vodafone and its employees as one person sends the mail asking us to go to nearest Vodafone store along with mentioned documents when we send than at the store the other employee says these documents nad mail are not acceptable .

                                    ​We are enclosing herewith all the documents mentioned in your mail for your perusal and to take action in this regard .

It has been a year since i have started your service and have been the bill but now when i asked extension for two days to pay the bill you have discontinued my service this was not expected from vodafone... Can you please call me on [protected] or [protected] for more details please call me asap because my services has been discontinued... Thank you

                                        I don't have signal 70% of times in my working hours. When raised a complaint, vodafone doesn't pay heed.

                                        When i tried porting couple of times to airtel, these fellows held my conversion without any reason.

                                        Finally, when i wanted to disconnect, these fellows doesn't accept disconnection request/ convert to prepay request, the reason being every store has their own specific dates on which they accept disconnection/ prepay requests and when we go on that day, the fellow who has to take request is not available.

                                        Vodafone is literally pain in #.
                                        Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
