I am a postpaid customer ([protected]), i want a change from postpaid to prepaid connection, for this, i have approached tirupati vodafone store and i met one female executive and convey my problem she replied it is not possible today come on next week we will do like that, i returned to the home. Next week i went to store here my bad is she (Who i am met last week) is not the and i have met another male executive, i have explained the same story he replied me very badly not possible to today come on ur next billing date. I returned home once again. Next billing date comes and i have met the store, once again my bad touches me same male executive is not there. I have met another sales executive (She is ramya who i am met the first time) she replied me where your the connection go there not here, we have no rights, otherwise, you come on next billing date already two are over. I felt very unhappy with the vodafone store. She how careless they are with a customer. She also said you can give a complaint on me no problem. Okay, leave it. I have met another store in hyderabad (Gachibowli), they simply said u can come on next billing date it is already one week over. I want justice here.

    Few months back i ported my number from airtel to vodafone and some amount was pending to be paid to airtel which i paid and now i am in vodafone store m2k rohini to submit the receipt of the payment and here i can see very slow working and blank seats of the staff. There is no proper space to settle down the customers.in between the conversation with customer staff leaves and starts chatting on different issues of different customers.
    Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    I recharge my vodafone [protected] with rs 111 (full talk time)

    After deducting gst and access fee i got only rs 3.96 as talk time balance

    This is the second time it happen
    How can i rely on vodafone?

      Hi, i am vodafone for cellular service from last 4-5 years. When 4g was not there, vodafone was used to charge a lot but still i never had issues with bills however when i got my number converted into 4g corporate plan, they started charging for those things which i am not even aware of. Last month (Feb-mar) a value added service indiagames wwe [protected]@90 was shown active in my bill. I reported about that and vodafone did accept the mistake and reverse the amount. Also it was deactivated by them for which i have the confirmation.
      For my surprise, the same vas got activated this month (April) and not only this 4 other downloads costing 99.00 inr each was also added. I am not even aware what kind of downloads these are!
      When i contacted them, they straight away said it is correct and i have to pay. Why should i pay for something which i have never opted and not aware of. Just because there is no other way to earn money, vodafone has started this new trick with its consumers. I did see other same requests lying here for the same reason. I have attached the copy of bill for your reference.
      I would also like to make it clear that the time which vodafone has shown for downloading, this number remains switched off or on locker at that particular period due to office hours.
      Request you to take a stern action. I will pay the bill for the services i got but i will not pay for not used vas.

        I switched to idea prepaid from vodafone postpaid. Before switching i was at 499 unlimited red plan, but after porting vodafone sent me a bill of 1447 + 100 rs late fees. Idea also sent proof of payment. I understand you both are same entity but is this fair that you guys closed my mobile number over an unfair amount. I have made payment but now after activation i will quit both of the operators & open a lawsuit.

        Complaint had been raised with service req no's[protected] &[protected], still no action has been taken on my complaint. This clearly shows how ignorant Vodafone is towards its customers. Vodafone is fooling customers by false promise.
        No response after so many tweets.

          Worst service ever i lodge a complaint with regards to network and my data speed it was closed without addressing it. Agent laxmi promised a call back but no call back. Agent karthik abused me. Need a strickt action against this. I am paying the bill

                I complaint because there are no option to convert postpaid to prepaid in "My Vodafone App" or in online.

                    My prepaid balance has been deducted by 85 rupees and then 50 rupees for some vodafone tv plan which i never heard of. Totally wrong. I never even heard of any such plan, let alone subscribe for it. I have emailed customer care, but there is no response. I googled and found so many similar complaints from others also.                     I use the mobile number [protected]. I did not receive any message my mobile number.please check the status and update. please resolve as soon as possible
                    Had ported my postpaid number to vodafone postpaid. Verified myself twice as they stated they were not able to verify my address.

                    No they got a new alibi that some conditions are not met for providing such postpaid connection.

                    After making many calls and mails they haven't corrected and have negated my connection.

                      I cannot send any text messages on my iphone 6s. Imessages and facetime are showing error in activation. I tried putting my sim in other phone but didn’t work. Can’t send messages when 4g /3g/2g is on. Facing this issue for a long time. Nobody at vodafone’s customer service seem to have a fix. I just get irrelevant resolves which do not work. I have been facing this issue from a very long time and nobody seems to fix it.

                        Dear vodafone your customer care does not behave well.
                        Other thing is that we are not able to connect your customer care easily.
                        Your customer cares does not provide effective information.
                        If these will be keep on then i will port my sim. And also ask our neighbors. To port it to another.
                        Last thing we are bot able to get 4g network everywhere.

                            I use a prepaid vodaphone sim in my phone. I want the post call notification to be disable (By that i mean, the message that pops up after my call sayin "your last call charges was xx. Xx and balance is yy. Yy".

                            I find this irritating and i think the customer should have the freedom to decide if he wants that notification or not.
                            I talked to cc but they expressed their inability. But i m not convinced. Pl help

                              I have been using vodafone post paid service for past (Around) 2 years and i too have observed that they are activating such services on their free will and charging any amount... Last to last month i got a bill around rs 1550 which got reduced after lot of hassel to rs. 1350... But again i have found that they have repeated the same thing in last 2 month bills... This indiagames wwe zone rc 90n has been activated at my no. Without my consent and i am being charged for this... This is pathetic... And still when competition telecom companies are offering services at low cost... I understand that vodafone india doesn't value customer relationship and only are here for minting money... This time will leave vodafone india for sure... Request competent authorities to take and action on the same query

                              It seems companies listen only post complain and they refunded (not completely) but a substantial extra charges basis my complain. BTW left Vodafone long back and now happy with my Airtel prepaid connection :-)

                                Duplicate sim was collected against biometric verification. The law states that the sim card should be fully activated when it is handed over to the customer. Hoewever, sms was barred, and i was at tremendous inconvenience as no banking transactions could be done as otp can not be received. Vodafone says it is as per try guide lines i asked them to produce try rule or notification, where by trai has allowed it to bar. It is common sense, when the sim is issued against e-kyc and bio metric verification through adhar, no further security check is required. However, the company says it is a practice not to activate sms services in case of replaced sim,

                                The funny part is sandeep kathuria has issued press release that vodafone instantly activates sims issued against aadhar with effect from 24/aug/2016

                                  I had been using a postpaid number for more than 4 years now. I always paid my biils on time. I moved to mexico with my husband and was using the number here. But somehow there was no network available for my sim which was a nightmare as all my accounts were linked to it. I could not make any transactions as i would not receive the otp. After 6 months when i travelled to india i made it a point to visit noida specially to get my sim converted to prepaid. The sector 18 noida vodafone store asked me that i had an outstanding payment of 1000 rs. I paid the money and they gave me the new sim and also told me that your postpaid number will be deactivated now. It was not easy as i did not have any other india number but i beared with it for good.
                                  Please note that i was flying back the next day early morning. I asked a reassurance to the vodafone executive and made my situation very clear and he assured me the same.
                                  The whole day and night i was waiting for the sms to get my prepaid sim activated at the cost of not being able to contact my family as my postpaid sim was already deactivated. To my horror i realized that there was no sms yet from vodafone when i was boarding the flight. When i reached mexico i realized that i have a message from vodafone saying that your request could not be processed because of an outstanding amount of minus (-) 300 rs. Which means vodafone took 1000rs instead of rs 700. Now they are harassing me to pay an outstanding amout pf approx. 8000 rs which they say was i used internet in international roaming. I was connected to the airport wifi to get in touch with my family i never realized that they would activate my postpaid sim for some stupid reason of their fault.

                                  Kindly help me. I am really stressed out because of the vodafone harassment.

                                    It is to inform you that myself archan chandra chandra (Msisdn - [protected]) recently ported in to vodafone in order to get a proper service but things turned worse.
                                    During the porting period from airtel to vodafone a outstanding amount of rs-174 was showing due which i paid 4th of this month and then directly went to vodafone store situated opposite to mahindra chandra college (Shyambazaar, kolkata, w. B) and asked the lady present to make a note about the payment made by me, she then said there is nothing to worry as the connection is running properly and do contact the outlet if my connection gets barred. On her comment i was disheartend so i took the onus of informing the corporate desk of vodafone with proper document. On the very next day i got a confirmation both through telephonic and through mail (Interaction number being [protected]) that my payment has been received and thus my connection will not get barred. After that i use to regularly get message of overdue payment of my previous operater which i tend to ignore as i already paid the said amount and also got the confirmation. To my utter disbelief my connection got barred on 16th of this month when i enquired the customer care they said the barring happened due to non payment of my dues of previous operater and asked me visit the store so next day when i went to the store and told my problem the lady present there said they can't help as the connection got barred by the airtel then i went airtel store and told my problem they said as i was not there customer anymore so they don't have the right to block my connection then again i went to vodafone store and the same then the lady said to bring the money receipt and there after again i went to airtel store and asked for my money receipt which they sended to me through my mail id. One reaching the vodafone store i said that the money receipt is my mail but my connection is barred so can i use their system which they turned down and asked me to fetch the hard copy of receipt then i came out roaming around the street in this heat looking for a cyber cafe which i could find due to the afternoon time all the cafe was closed. On dejected i returned to my office then i called up the appellate desk and told my problem they as per voc opened my connection.
                                    Then when again mailed the appellate desk against the ill treatmentioned faced by me they also turned down my requested. Yesterday a person named joly sharma called me from the appellate desk and enquired my problem i told detailed about the thing i had gone through, to my utter disbelief she said that i was my fault as i didn't deposited the money on time and it got updated on 17th of this month and the confirmation mail regarding the payment made by vodafone was by mistake. So clearly told her that i had all the documents as a proof which shows that i had made the payment on 4th of this month then why i was made to suffer. She didn't had any answer so i requested her to transfer the line to appellate authority i want to talk to him and narrate my problem to which she denied.
                                    Sir this is whole painful story which i went through. Hoping to adequate help and reimbursement from vodafone for the lose which i had to go through.

                                      1. I deactivated my number in august 2017 and also got a confirmation from vodafone for the same
                                      2. April 2018 they reactivated my number stating it was active under corporate category. I am being asked to pay for the services i dint even use.
                                      3. After following up with vodafone customer care, they seem very confused about the whole thing and different representatives send me different resolutions and keep calling every day.
                                      4. When i asked to loop in the manager i was kept on hold indefinitely.

                                      This is nothing but looting customer. Asking for payments for services i dint even use and keeping my number active in a category i dint even ask. Very exploitative.

                                        I ported my number from idea to vodafone (My bigggest mistake). Anyway vodafone has barred my number by sending a message saying ther is an idea bill pending of rs 13. I had already paid that bill and sent the acknowledgment receipt from idea via mail on their customer care and mnppayment id. They have still barred my number. I can’t even call their customer care now since the calls are barred. I have sent 10 mails to them but no one is replying. All my work is halted as almost everything is phone number dependent today. Worst customer care and mobile company ever.
