I have recharged for rs 199/ through sbi account top-up recharge - on 21.03.2018. They have neither creditedthe amount in my mobile no [protected] nor refunded the same. I have contacted 3 times over telephone with their customer care representatives. They assure that the amount credit within 5 working days. But till date they have'nt taken no action to refund. So please take necessary action to refund.

    On 9.4.2018, I was surfing through net. I slept around at 12.40am. On the next day Morning I got the following message:

    How Can Vodafone deduct my balance and activate a package without my consent.
    I want an immediate refund of my amount charged by Vodafone.

      I recharged checking the offer for unlimited calls local std and roaming for 90days by clicking that offer and after my balance getting deducted, i got to see that instead o[censored]nlimited calls they gave me data pack... I have not used data pack in vodafone service for more than a monnth.. But wen i called complaint service, few agents were very very rude and dint not gave me resolution right away after calling thrice in two days.. I asked to give me that offer that i had paid rs459 and that the unlimited offer was rs458 as said by agent that they will give me only talk time of 364rs after deducting their gst. This is total unfair n worst customer service experience ever. Highly disappointed with how the agent treated me and my concern. I am going to file a serious consumer forum for this. The agent ajay hung up on me. And the next agent gave me diff information about talk time today than what previous agent gave me yesterday. Vodafonr does not care for their costumer concern.

        My name is abhishek jain from ahmedabad.

        I have been a customer of vodafone since i relocated from london a few years ago.

        Today, i am writing to complain to you about certain tortious practices vodafone has been wallowing in lately.

        At the moment i am having a vodafone red post paid connection plan on one of my numbers, with a monthly rental of ₹ 499.

        Since the last few months, i have been fraudulently charged a surplus fee for some random value added services (Vas) repetitiously.

        In order to sort this misdemeanour, everytime i visit the vodafone, i have been palliated by your representatives with absolutely farcical possibilities that might have been the reason for me being charged. Some of such recurrent cliches include (But are not limited to) -

        • i am using “some kind of games”

        • i might have “accidentally downloaded an app”

        • i might have “visited some wrong website”

        • i might have “unknowingly subscribed to some plans”

        • i might have “accidentally enable certain payment methods”

        • i might have “accidentally downloaded some java app”

        • etcetera.

        On this occasion, please allow me to share with you a tad bit of my background.

        I am a smart-devices (Phones included) tech-developer, engaged in developing apps and architecture for technologies like web 5.0.

        Do i really sound like a dim-witted nincompoop who does not know how to use a smart phone, that i accidentally happen to keep activating inutile services, subscriptions or keep accessing certain website which penalise me with menace benightedly?

        If that does not sound justifiable, please be mindful, that i barely use my rooted android phone to browse the web, and other than the 3 most popular world apps which i use on the said device, are some basic system apps (Calculator, clock, camera), which by the way, i have been using since years.

        The only suspicious app i find is, vodafone app, for everytime i installed it, my next billing was charged with “wwe zone rc 90 n”.

        What a co-incidence in plain sight.

        Upon further investigation, i have also learned, this is not some “accidental theory”, there are thousands of such innocent customers who are being victimised though such deceitful extortion. A simple google search for “wwe zone vodafone” would easily illuminate upon you this nation-wide voda-travesty.

        I think vodafone is unscrupulously exploiting the nativity of customers, through guileful means, which knowingly or otherwise, without consent enable / activate or subscribe to vas an such like provisions.

        Dear expert, i really am sorry, i have no time to invest in gracing vodafone stores on a monthly basis to beg them to undo, what i might have, in all my naive senses, accidentally invited the wrath o[censored]pon me.

        So, i kindly, humbly and naively request you to investigate into this issue and have me refund the bonus charges which i was forced to pay, because i was a fool, who did not know how to use such a modern marvel of technology.

        Please do not force your customers to resort to legal help.

        Incidentally, i lately discovered, my family (Other six vodafone numbers) members were also faced with similar charges, and to my surprise, they too were coincidentally, using the phone as ignorantly as i was, with the exact same aforementioned reasons awarded by the vodafone representatives.

        (Such a dumb family we are, you must think)

        You will be immensely glad to know, we have now decided to quit vodafone in lieu of an other service provider.

        So i received this generic obviously hackneyed response today.

        SUMMARY ---
        • Din't even like bother to read the whole complain, or so much as admit their wrong doing, for the reasons below -
        • Proclaim i intentionally activated VAS.
        • Advising me to install third party apps, when i don't need them (which is prestinely so clear from the nature of the use of my device).
        • Refused to refund.

        I have check your concern related to VAS/content download charged and it was activated with consent of the user it is reflecting in invoice dated 10/04/2018, most importantly, downloads are initiated only when any user selects or clicks on the advertisement pop ups while browsing the handset. We would be unable to reverse the charges.


        Further to our conversation regarding settings for avoiding any further inconvenience, we request you to follow the following steps:

        1) Download Ad Blocker from Play store
        2) Tick mark the Safe Browsing option in the privacy settings of Google Chrome
        3) Tick mark the Ad Block option of Privacy Setting o[censored]C browser.


        Going forward, I recommend you to be cautious and check a few important points mentioned below to avoid unnecessary charges:
        ·When you click on an advertisement or banner while browsing, download is initiated and charged post your consent.

        ·If you do choose to view or download sites and applications while browsing, these I’ll be charged as per pre-define applicable rates.

        ·Charges are based on the type of content that you buy. Content charges for wallpapers, games and songs therefore vary.

        Other than the obvious language misconstruct or apparent misinformation, Can you please tell me, at exactly what time did you call me?

        I have not received any phone call from any number. I do not use any call blocker. My phone was on all this time. If you weren't able to reach me, it'd probably then be Vodafone signal issue, which again is an issue you must look into.

        It's plain as a pikestaff that your response is smelling of a stale templated format, for you don't even care to realise what i have already mentioned in my complain about the said issue; and yet proclaim that i intentionally activated VAS, despite my clarifying of how i use my phone.

        Furthermore, you advise -
        1) Download Ad Blocker from Play store
        May i ask, To block which ad's exactly, to be precise?

        2) Tick mark the Safe Browsing option in the privacy settings of Google Chrome
        Doesn't look like you read my original complain that explicates what i use my phone for, but browsing at rare.

        3) Tick mark the Ad Block option of Privacy Setting o[censored]C browser.
        SO basically you want to dictate me to as to which apps should i download, but not admit that you are using horrendously deceptive tactics of such tech-thuggery.

            Respected sirs,

            I am holding unique identification authority of india – aadhaar card – vide aadhaar card no.[protected]. The photo copy is submitted herewith for your ready reference.

            This aadhaar card was produced before the vodafone office at yavatmal – 445001 tq and distt. Yavatmal (Maharashtra).

            But the said office has not accepted the said aadhar card and ask ed me to obtain fresh aadhaar card with finger print.

            The said office has completed all the formalities and has taken my finger print for fresh aadhaar card.

            But he informed me that my finger print does not tally with finger print, which were taken at the time of my first aadhaar card and therefore this aadhaar card is not acceptable.

            In this circumstances, i became helpless as the changed lining of my finger print reflected in my aadhaar card is not within my reach so as to revive the lining of my finger print, being natural, which were obtained at the time of my first aadhaar card by the concerning authority.

            The copy of rejected aadhaar card is submitted herewith for your ready reference.

            Thereafter i also tried at two more aadhaar card center but the same problem is there and therefore i now became helpless to link my aadhaar card with my vodafone mobile and for all other purposes.

            I, therefore, request you kindly to inform me the way by which i can link my aadhaar card with my vodafone and for all other purposes.

            I hope you will do needful in the matter and will be kind enough to solve my problem.

              There is no coverage nowadays in my area can't able to speak or cant able to use the internet in my area.
              Signal drop on connected to another person on the Airtel network.
              Kindly do the needful asap, or else need to switch the network.
              Weak Signal !.

              No Signal at all calls are being disconnected inside a building, whatever am going to switch over the network, please for the sake of customers don't let the customers go out of your network.

                Hi, i am getting at least 4 calls per week from vodafone india. I switched my number from vodafone to airtel last year, so they have my contact details. My number is on the trai dnd list and i have mentioned that so many times to these cold calling agents but they do not understand. How can you help me to resolve this breach of privacy

                We did recharge of rs. 99 and rs. 149 for unlimited calling plan but surprised to know later that access fees is charged for rs. 83 and rs. 126 respectively...there is no unlimited calling. no information was given while we took plan hence pls refund amount

Although i have purchased my sim on my adhar card but customer service agent told me that i have to submit my verification at vodafone store again. Why should i will go to store when i purchase sim on adhar. I want to unblock my sms service immediately

                    I applied for port on[protected]. I immediately got a call from vodafone customer retention team and i told the lady their offer does not match that offered by airtel and i will proceed with porting. I requested her for unbilled amount which she was unable to give. Even on logging into vodafone unbilled amount is shown as 0. I paid my outstanding only to get a message today[protected] saying porting is rejected due to unpaid bill. I called vodafone to clarify and they told me porting was rejected on my request as i had agreed to be retained by vodafone. I had repeatedly rejected their attempts of retention. I demanded they play the conversation where i said i will continue with vodafone which they were unable to do. Now they are telling me the only solution is to go through the entire process again. On demanding the due amount they tell me that my billing cycle is the 17th and now anyways that date will arrive before i am able to port and i should pay then! These are absolutely illegal and unethical tactics by them to retain customers and ensure they get money for the fill cycle instead of the pro rata amount.

                      Dear sir,
                      This is the mail i have given to vodafone.

                      My name is amit hari kulkarni.
                      I am an officer in the indian armed forces. I have been using vodafone pre paid network (Tamilnadu) for last four years.

                      I am getting posted to a field location in jammu and kashmir where the prepaid number from outside jammu and kashmir does not work.

                      I contacted your customer care many times to convert my prepaid number to postpaid and also visited vodafone store several times in last few months with all required documents.

                      The people at customer care were absolute non professional and could not even speak in english or hindi. The same story was at your store located at coonoor (Nilgiris). After explaining the issue, they were not able to help me out in any way and kept troubling me. I was not able to convert my number to post paid in spite of repeated visits at your store. The same thing was also told to customer care many times.

                      Finally, after looking at helplessness from vodafone's side and also looking at poor response and bad professional behaviour i decided to port my number to airtel.

                      Since, i am leaving for kashmir in a few days i need to port my number at the earliest.

                      After giving the request for porting my number to airtel, my request was rejected three times. The reason stated each time was "unique porting code mismatch".

                      I have checked with airtel store and airtel customer care three times and they have forwarded correct upc to vodafone.

                      On learning this, i also contacted vodafone store at coonoor and even called up vodafone customer care. They both told me that they cannot help me but also accepted that my upc was correct but they cant do anything.

                      I have recorded evidences of these conversations in my phone and also have written evidences in sms and mail box to this effect.

                      Vodafone was not able to help me in any way in the first place and now when i decide to change the network provider, you people are harassing me by telling me false reason o[censored]pc mismatch. I have checked many times and ensured the code was correct. I have checked this from airtel as well as vodafone.

                      May i request you not to unnecessary hold my request and release the number and allow me to shift to airtel network.

                      I am working in the indian armed forces and working for the security of this country. I hope you people will cooperate with me.

                      I have also gathered all the required documents in my support as evidence and already speaking to a lawyer to seek legal help.

                      I would not hesitate to approach legal authorities to sort out the issue if my request is not agreed and i am not allowed to port my number to airtel.

                      I have two vodafone prepaid numbers. One is in my name and the other in my wife's name.

                        I wanted to save a vodafone connection so took the lowest rental plan of rs. 99 and switched of the phone in april 2016. For easy transaction, did setup auto billing from my bank account.
                        The phone is still switched off, i turn on the phone once in 2-3 months to charge the phone.
                        Today when check can see vodafone has charged me huge amount for months for a non-used number (Switched off phone)

                        Oct[protected] rs
                        Nov.[protected] rs

                        Mar 2018 - 269 rs

                        Amazingly, there is no way i can sum up rental of rs 99 to these amounts.
                        Vodafone, i have raised a request for disconnection and will do the same for my other numbers too, but please look into this and if possible refund the fake charges.

                          As i am not a telemarketer, why my sms services are barred?. I am using this no for 14 years. How to unblock?. I have called vodafone customer support three times, they say my no is barred bcos of telemarketing messages. I have not sent any messages like that. Without any notice they have blocked it for two months. If the problem is not resolved i would port my no to any other good mobile service provider.

                            Given request of porting my vodafone mobile number [protected] from vodafone to idea on 09 march 2018, 6:50pm.
                            Received the confirmation sms from vodafone (1900) at 6:49pm, as porting accepted.
                            From then tilll now 3 person have verified my concern of port from voda to idea. But still my porting has not happened. Its been more than amonth now.

                              Hi team,
                              Multiple times i have contacted to the vodafone customers care and even visited the store however they are not providing any resolution regarding the concern of address verification which is pending since 6- apr (Complaint no :[protected],[protected],[protected] and keep on telling to wait for next 48 hrs and when it's about to lapsed and after that when i contact again they keep on saying to wait for next 48 hrs. Their verification team are updating wrong remarks that they have tried to reach me on my alternate no provided however i didn't get a single call from them. Just because of such pendency unfortunately i was being accountable or punished by barring by both incoming & outgoing calls. Today because of this i have bear a huge monetary loss. Kindly help me out in rectifying it asap. I have contacted many lead manager of vodafone customer care : vikas saxena, pulkit, siddharth all of them have misguided me by sharing wrong commitment and educated that they are the last point of contact.
                              Request you to kindly pass it on to the higher management of vodafone for taking action on them as i do have all the call records of wrong commitment done by these leads.

                                Respected sir, i have ported my number [protected] from airtel to vodafone but today on 11/04/2018 it was ported to vodafone to other number [protected] and i lost my original number so kindly take necessary actions on this! And i was not aware of this conceqences until i check my balance in my mobile, i have informed customer care of vodafone for doing this blunder! They have advised me to go for vodafone store and am missing a lot of important calls as i am doctor by profession and i need them to repay my loss! Thank you

                                  Dear sir, i have two numbers from vodafone ([protected] & [protected]). One of this was ported from airtel. I'm using plans 499+hellotune and 399 +no additional services. The monthly bills must be with in 600 and 400 for both the numbers. But each and every month i'm getting additional charges with unused services. And each and every month i've called customer care and arguing with the to reduce the changes. This became hectic now and the charges is crossing 1200 which is out of way. Requesting your kind support with a solution for this issue.

                                    Ever since last month the voda internet connection has slowed down miserably, earlier it use to run at 350 kb/sec but now in spite of being in the same area, the same house the net connection does not go up from 20 to 30 kb/sec and it doesn't improve during morning day or night time as well. Downloading speed as well as uploading speed is horrible at all time, the internet is not stable which was never an issue a month back. Vodafone connect was one of the best connection a month back but now it's one of the worst. I strongly feel after the end of jio wave voda's internet speed which was one of the fastest and most stable network connection died off. Please fix this issue as soon as possible as its not only me who is facing this problem but all the users in the state are facing this problem. We are not expecting the same kind of good internet service once provided yet as customers we expect and deserve stable and decent internet connection for the money we pay.

                                    customer calling takes minimum 40 minutes, most of the dealing person moving in the office or to looking in the monitor long time & taking each other but takes huge time for calling

                                      I have upgraded my sim to 4g and after that i cannot receive or send any sms. When i open my vodafone app i have some two services activated which i didn't activate but i don't know how they got activated

                                        They had romised me to give the service of custom caller tune, means my own music as a caller tune, because of which i had purchased the sim card. I visited many stores regarding the same but couldn't find the solution. Almost 1 months passed they didn't given me the facility they had promised.

                                        While in a conversation with one executive, knowing i said that i have 50 airtel connections and need to upload custom caller tune, which they are not providing me. The boy agreed to give the service and called me so many time to give all the no. And my audio for converting it and uploading mu audio as a caller tune.

                                        Am upset with the service of vodafone and will request everyone not to trust this service.
