This complaint it to highlight the network issues faced by us by using Vodafone services.

Although its considered the best among other network providers in Mumbai, over the past few months the network is decreasing to pathetic. Sometimes while traveling or in a basement kind of floors its understandable to face some network issues. But while walking on the road, or sitting in the house, moving from one room to another if the calls are getting dropped, then whats the use of this network?

    Sub : malpractice of one more billing amount against deactivation

    Ref : my vodafone postpaid no.[protected]

    I have given deactivation request of above no. [protected] at velacherry, chennai branch, on 17th january 2018 and they have properly done the same.in this regard, the balance period amount has been paid in the month of february 2018, duly at your same velachery, chennai branch.

    However, the same no. Has been reactivated voluntarily by your system / people without my knowledge, even deactivation request was duly considered on 17th january 2018, and the mistaken february 2018 bill was also collected from me, i. E., rs.351.00, in march 2018.

    I strongly believe that this is a kind of malpractice and the wrongly collected money was not refunded to me yet.

    Is this the way your company run business without any ethics? Is my rs.351.00 will raise your capital and pay salary to your employees??

    Who will bell the cat to refund my rs.351.00? The loyalty and integrity on vodafone i had was totally destroyed. Moreover, there are 351 one rupee is involved in the amount and i am earning the amount by spending by sweat and blood.

    Hope you will give respect and response to my value and accept the mistake as well as refund my money at the earliest.

    Your competitor has duly refunded my rs.7.00 through a cheque, even the excess amount.

      Dear sir,

      I was using 199 genpact+250 internet plan on my mobile no.[protected] from 19 jan’18 to 12 feb’18 for 24 days and as per the plan i am entitled to get the discount @32% on my total bill amount for this period however the same has not been given to me.

      I am following since 20th feb'18 and raised the complaint#[protected] but no body is giving solution, please help.

      Request you to help in getting the discount on my bill as per plan.

Whoever calls me says caller tune changed, vodafone says deactivated. pathetic situation of vodafone doesn't know whats active or not but they keep charging rental for it. No track of complaints

        I have been charged rental for roaming even when i did not use any of their services when away from the country. Vodafone mentions that only i[censored]sed then rental is charged, but this has happened 3 times that i have been charged. So basically they are playing fraud with customers. I have written mails to them, but they now refuse to repay me back the amount as well now they do not reply to my emails, also the nodal officer does not do anything, neither does the appellate officer do anything. I have written several mails but only in vain. Probably they are just sitting there in the office and making money by cheating customers and now they cannot write back, so they do not respond. This is the kind of service from vodafone. I used their service for over 10 years and lot more and not this is how they are treating their customers by cheating them and not replying back. I have written to their nodal officer yael dsouza, as mentioned in the website, but never ever received any response from her.

        There is also a slight inconvenience on the same number of beans on my second number: Does the Vodafone Company make such jokes with its new customers ??? my other number is [protected].
        Whenever I go to Register with Vodafone option and enter my mobile number on enter Vodafone number, I am clicking on Submit and Generate OTP if no OTP is coming. I have done this process quite a while but no Can not find the answer too. Why like this ???

        I tried Vodafone CC too many times, my number is [protected], i want to activate this number as soon as possible.
        Though the number is deactivate 5th March'18 only.
        without any information Vodafone deactivate the number.

            Its pathetic experience with lot of mental pressure with this vodafone service. Deadline to submit aadhar is 31st march and since my aadhar is not linked with mobile number and i am in my hometown in roaming, have tried to submit my aadhar form to retailer but they refused as this can be submitted only in original circle from where this was bought i. E. Pune where i am not going to visit for atleast 6 months.
            Now i am left with only option to port it to another local circle operator and have tried various things as suggested on different sites but not able to send message to 1900. It always fail, though am able to send message to other numbers.
            There should be strict enquiry and action taken on vodafone to block sending sms to 1900 which is causing mental disturbance. Pathetic.. No help from customer care as well. My number is linked at various places and do not want to loose that by any chance for this #..

              On 10.03.2018 vodafone at ambattur, chennai deactivated my postpaid sim after full settlement of dues and gave me a prepaid sim. The concerned staff informed that the postpaid sim would be deactivated within 8 hrs. And once the signal is gone in the phone i should insert the prepaid sim in it and then call 59059.
              The signal from postpaid sim is still on (Today is 12.03.2018) and when i contact vodafone outfit i was informed that the deactivation is pending and it will be through today within 8 hours.

              What is happening in vodafone? I am disturbed since i can't keep walking several times to the vodafone office. Can something be done to solve my problem?

                    I lost my phone so requested for sim blocking immediately. Afterward i submitted the form for sim replacement at kochi, kerala vodafone center. I was told that my new replacement sim would be activated within 48 hrs, however upon calling the customer care after non-activation of sim i got to know that the sim replacement request was not put by the mentioned store at all!! Highly # customer service

                      My father's sim card broked, so we went to vodafone store named kavita communication in nakhate nagar, thergaon. They said i=the concerned sim is registered on my name and requested me to visit the store. My father and brother explained them that it is on my fathers name but they did not considered it and the person sitting over there said to leave them. I then visited the store with my brother. I saw there was a girl sitting behind the counter and another person on other counter. On front side there was a men and women sitting with her daughter. They were sister and her husband of the person who was sitting behind the counter. It seem like the person sitting behind the counter was the owner of this store. While doing biometrics it failed. So lady behind the counter asked me to bring my father. Now the person behind the counter said to lady tell them this will now not happen. I argued with him stating why are you always saying no to everything. That's it he got angry and asked us to move out of the store. He threw my documents and money in front of me and came straight towards me and started abusing. I also got angry and started arguing with him. Now the other lady who was sister of this person and her husband they also jumped into this and started abusing me and brother. Meanwhlie my father came there and stopped this fight. But this person was not ready to give us sim card. He then asked his sister to call police. We then called the owner on the property who has rented the porperty to this person. Now he was quite and came to know that now there might be problem to him. We asked the owners son to talk with him. Now he immediately handed us with the new sim and did the biometrics of my father. It just took less then 2 min. This is how we are treated in vodafone store. Me and my family want to fight against this and treat this people a lesson. Please help.

                          I want my balance back what you vodafone company is doing without confirmation any thing you are deducting the balance. I found the worst facilities in vodafone sim if you don't give my balance back than i am going broke this sim and never used and also tell all my friends never ever used the vodafone company sim. Because this company is one of the worst i had ever found.

                            I recharged my mobile twice and the recharger showed the the transaction as approved and my money was deducted but i cannot avail any of the offers and my phone shows zero balance! I recharged through ez recharge and they show that it is approved. I have yet to recieve any messages. I have not linked it with my adhaar but still it is no reason to invalidate my recharge. The offer that i paid for is the 199 & 198. I can still call through my phone
                            & i still recieve messages.

                              Sir, i am doing this complaint on behalf of my wife, moulika banerjee. She had a vodafone postpaid connection ([protected]). On february we put our request to vodafone to deactivate the service and also we paid all the remaining dues. After some days vodafone customer care also confirmed the same and noted the deactivation request. Now despite all the procedure is over i got a new bill from vodafone on 11/03/2018. I immediately called vodafone service centre, and they told me they updated the deactivation request on their system on 2nd march while i gave my deactivation request on 20th february 2018. This is very unfair and illegal also. Why i have to pay for the fault originating from their ends? Please help me. I attached the 1) last bill i received from vodafone, 2) the copy of the filled up request for deactivation form, 3) the full paid bill thanking you

                                Pathetic service by vodafone india and hectic treatment by vodafone agets. They had started useless services on my number and charging me for this. I have to call like everyday to custemer care to get it deactivated and to reduce charges. But still my data and calling services had been stopped. I cant even call to custemer care numbers but still i've been requested to call to 199... Check below

                                Hello.in response to your complaint no[protected] we were unable to reach you on your mobile to give an update. Please call 199 for an update

                                I have raised like 50-60 complaints to stop starting/activating these services. But again these services are being activating continuously and worse thing is that whenever my data connection is off these services gets activated and calling representative informs me that you have activated these services.

                                Finally i am receiving credit limit crossed messages but still agents advised that be calm you would not be facing any inconvenience, we will reduce the charges. From yesterday my mobile services had been stopped.

                                I have used wifi and chat with vodafone chat agent. He/she assured me on 9am that the services would starts around 10 to 11 am but not yet started. Again i've been advised by outbound calling agent that the services would be started around 4pm but no use. Again i have chat with chat agent as i cant call to anyone but finally he told me i cant assist you further.

                                I hope @socialmedia would be the last option now...

                                    I don't want continue on post paid, i need convert pre paid again.

                                    Now prepaid also having the same offers, but on post paid we have to pay 300/- rs. Additional.

                                    Previously my connection is prepaid so i need convert it from post paid to pre paid.

                                    I don't want to go for new number i need this number with pre paid.

                                    I am already complaint to customer care they didn't respond.

                                    Vodafone customer care has been playing last 7 months telling me my number cannot be converted to prepaid due to some technical problem. Now after a single email, the matter is resolved, i am back to prepaid.

                                    The increasing competition & drop in call rates is burning the hands of all mobile operators which force them to take new tactics such as

                                    A. No postpaid to prepaid conversion (Atleast the rent they will get)
                                    B free caller tunes for one month (Without even asking caller tune was activated in reliance, it took me 2 calls to customercare to block the same.)

                                    So for all those people who wish to migrate, here is the steps.

                                    A. Call your vodafone customercare (No. 111)
                                    B. Get the nodal officers email id and contact number
                                    C. Send an email telling about your plan conversion (Keep trai's
                                    Email in the cc)
                                    D. Do some follow up mail.

                                      I applied for porting out my mobile number from vodafone on 25 feb 2018. The porting request number is vd193563.
                                      Vodafone called me on 26 feb to understand the reason for porting & when i stated that i need my number to be ported out because of personal reasons, they fraudulently changed my package to a very costly package without my consent and canceled my porting request in their system. I never got intimation of this cancellation.
                                      I approached the other service provider on 06 mar 2018 to know why it is taking this long for porting & they told me that vodafone has cancelled the porting request!
                                      I reinitiated the porting request on 06 mar 2018 and this time vodafone canceled it stating non-payment of outstanding dues. However i cleared all my dues and also paid an extra rs150 on 09 mar 2018 but vodafone is still refusing to port my number. I have once again pushed my porting request today 10 mar 2018.
                                      I had been with vodafone for past 13 years and this is how they treat their customers!!
                                      Vodafone needs to act and port my number to the service provider of my choice.

                                        I was using a vodafone postpaid number from a long time.in april 2017 i shifted to europe and then this number was rarely in use after may 2017 this number stopped working.. I contacted vodafone india about the issue. They asked me to pay unnecessary bills of 5000 to restart the connection by applying some unnecessary roaming charges. After one month this number stopped working again. When i enquired about it. They told me that it has a pending bill of 15000 even after the number was not in use. Now they are driving me to pay the bill amount otherwise they will take legal actions
                                        Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
