I received the following sms from vodafone and rs 90/- was deducted from my account without my authorization. I want this refunded as it is illegal to deduct money from a consumer's prepaid balance without asking his/her permission. I request an immediate refund.

    I have been charged for international roaming on my vodafone number.in the month of december 2017 as well i was charged without even activating the same and i was refunded the amount, however once again i have been charged.
    As for vodafone under below circumstances we get charged.

    {activation: please note that rs.99/- gets debited from your balance for activation of international roaming service if you initiate any of the below stated activities from your number.

    1) attempt of outgoing call/ miss call

    2) receive incoming call

    3) send an outgoing sms

    4) gprs usage

    We wish to inform you that incoming calls will be chargeable in international roaming. Charges will be applicable as per country.}

    As well i have been told in-order to avoid it in the future to send the below message.

    After sending the above message and as well not using my vodafone number internationally, i have been charged rental. I have my own local international number and so i do not have a reason to use vodafone number.

    This has been repeated and also now this is pending since 4 days and not received any response from vodafone.

      I had been billed for a 5gb data plan
      On my account. 650 rupees per month vodafone cannot provide any proof that i activated the plan on the 18th of october. I was not in india at the time - passport exit stamp from mumbai csi immigration proves this. The vodafone customer services have no service request or email to prove i activated the plan. It is clearly a mistake by their marketing team.

      Yet customer services is refusing to refund the billed amount. I have made repeated requests to deactivate the plan in the time i was being billed but these were ignored. Being an nri i had to call customer services via the international number.

      The plan was deactivated only just deactivated but vodafone mumbai is refusing to refund the amount.

        And vodafone is a very worst company there is no network in my area mostly it shows no service and even my 4g never works i talked to customer care also they told me that they will see toh this but its more than 5 days there is no response from Vodafone company and I cannot use this network anymore I really want to port it again to airtel or some other network I cannot bear this problem anymore please take some serious action against this

          I have tried to convert from postpaid to prepaid mobile no [protected] but the response from your vodafone store nizamabad was completely inappropriate, stating that regional manager is not allowing any conversion to prepaid. Now when i want to
          Port the request has been denied, prompting of pending bill. I have already cleared the bill and in advance paid extra amount for time being. Still my request for porting to other network is denied twice. I have already paid extra 150₹ in total my current balance as of when i was porting was -54₹. I was expecting service, not inconvenience. Your organisation has lost the value which you used to provide to your customers. I kindly request you to go through my complaint and resolve as soon as possible.

            Vodafone customer care number 91 [protected] is charging the callers heavily. I called this number from my mobile: [protected] on 23/01/2018 and was charged about 7 rupees for a couple of minutes or so. It is highly improper for Vodafone or any other service provider to make this kind of money from customer's grievances. Vodafone and many other service providers have replaced their toll free numbers with special numbers to heavily charge the complainants. Customer is also paying while listening to their advertisements during the waiting period on the mobile. Customer care numbers should be invariably toll free numbers.It will help towards better service from providers so as to reduce the complaints. In the present case, they are getting paid for every second they interact with the customer and during the waiting period on phone to attend customer complaints.

              Hi,

              I have been using my vodafone number for the past few years but since I was out of India for the past few months, I couldn't use it to make any call, although I was still using it for messages and my bank OTPs. Then from the past two days, when i switched it on for my work, I realised it was not working and when my brother called the customer care, they told him that my number has been allocated to someone else.

              I am highly disappointed on this sheer negligence on Vodafone's part that they decide to allocate the number to a new customer without even informing the old customer. This has led to a lot of problems and being in another country I am inbound and all my work is stuck due to this negligence on vodofone's part.

              I would like to Vodafone to help me with this issue at the earliest.

                My name is Sumit Guha and I am availing 2 vodafone number [protected] and [protected]. 1st January 2018 I recharged both of this number and amount is 557. As per this plan I expecting per day i can use std and local call free of cost. And also I can avail 1Gb data per day. But the situation is I am unable to use internet from both of those number. My mobile set is perfect because I also use jio sim. And they provide better service than vodafone with less price. Interesting i can use net from jio.

                The fact is all of your customer care executives have less knowledge about troubleshooting. The fact is I am unable to call customer care from both of those number. I try from different number and I called 10 to 15 times to your vodafonecare. Interestingly always I got different answer from your executive. But problem remain same.

                My request to you please activate internet connection to my mobile numbers and also extends day where I am unable to use internet. Otherwise please give my money back.

                  I have phone number [protected] which comes under vodafone chennai circle and recently i moved to bangalore and using the same.
                  On 12th jan 2018 without intimating anything vodafone deactivated my number and when i tried to call postpaid care with other number it is connecting only prepaid customer care and if i ask to connect postpaid, they say we don't have right to connect postpaid care. I visited vodafone store in bangalore and they are saying we don't have access to activate your number and keep saying you have to visit chennai to get activation of your number which is not possible at this point of time. I am stuck with this and i requested them to do some needful as my number is deactivated and all my bank transactions happens with the same number and the same number is distributed across the office and personal contact. Still they don't entertain my request and i contact them on daily basis. I am having loss because of this negligence from vodafone. Please assist me further and please do some needful.

                    I have purchased vodafone postpaid connection in dec 2017 with paying the primeum. After 4 days i realized i m not able to receive the incoming call. I made a complaint in this regard but the facility has not been restored till date. I can receive call only from vodafone operator. People with other operators can not call me.

                    Such a poor and disgusting services. This act has ruined my personal and professional life. Vodafone senior authority too failed to resolved the issue after one month of complaint.

                            Hi,

                            In November 2017 I moved out of India for a short time assignment and kept my number [protected] on international roaming, just to receive sms for my banking, Vodafone customer care deliberately calls number of times on this number which I never attended, neither I attended any of the call from my known ones, forget about the unknown ones, Now I expected a bill of around 380 as per the plan but Vodafone has charged me absolutely falsely for 2500, the same mistake was made by Airtel but it was for around 225 rs only which they waived off. Further, Vodafone billing shows usage in minutes and not seconds (Airtel shows in seconds also) from which one could have clearly caught their false charging. Now, just to inform you when I made a complaint Vodafone mailed me a waiver of 500, I paid 750 and informed that I wont make any other payment so they mailed me a waiver of 1000 rs, this clearly indicates about the deliberate false billing. they are still harassing me to pay the remaining amount of 1800 which I would never pay, I have also informed them to deactivate the sim.
                            Please look into the case as Vodafone is falsely making international charges to make money..

                                This is for your information that i used 3 postpaid vodafone
                                Numbers earlier,
                                As per my convenience i ported out my no - [protected] in jio and use
                                Rest 2 numbers in vodafone, but due to unnecessity of two connections
                                I requested vodafone to stop services of [protected] and service has
                                Been closed as well, but some amount was due so i paid that amount
                                Post two months of deactivation including late fee, and remained 1

                                Complain is that why i am still receiving bill of deactivated number
                                [protected] while it has been stopped and not in service, i raised
                                Several issues against it however i get monthly bill with late fee of

                                Disturb for this, be honest this is totally unethical to impose bill
                                Of deactivated number post two months of deactivation saying that
                                Service of that number has been activated and you have to pay, this
                                Behaviour of vodafone may lead to lost its customers ahead, i also

                                Sometimes i want to lodge a complain in consumer court as well against
                                Mentally torture by vodafone and its persons with adequate evidences,
                                This is my last request to resolve the issue and stop sending bill of

                                Outstanding amount which was totally unethical as you can understand.

                                  I lost my prepaid vodafone sim card 3 weeks back. I blocked the sim card as a responsible customer.
                                  The day i came back from my vacation i go to a vodafone gallery and ask for my new sim.
                                  After waiting for a long queue the customer care executive tells me that i can no longer use my prepaid sim as prepaid because no recharge has been there since 3 months.
                                  1. Being a customer can i not make decision when to recharge my phone and when not?
                                  2. If not recharging my phone was an issue why was i not warned about the same. Why did i not get any message regarding that and suddenly when i lose my sim they realise i should have recharged?
                                  3. My sim was lost! Why would i recharge my sim if its lost? How foolish can one be to ask me to recharge a sim which is blocked
                                  4. Calling vodafone care: i am informed there in clearly no need to move to post paid as i have always been prepaid customer and can directly ask for a prepaid sim working as usual!
                                  5. Vodafone gallery firmly refuses to give me my prepaid sim card even after explaining everything to them. They threaten me that my sim will be permanently deactivated if not moved to post paid!
                                  Noone gives them the rights to fool their customer or enforce unnecessary rules on us.

                                        I did a balance recharge of rs 44 on my number, but still my account balance is same as it was before recharging my number. But a rate cutter service (30p/min) has been activated, instead of getting balance. I do not want rate cutter service activated on my number. Can i get a refund or balance in my account? Please resolve this in whichever possible way.
                                        Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
