Updated by shailendra_bisht This complaint is against vodafone india who is harassing us every time with a sim number [protected] payment issue.
My delhi vodafone number was lost in june in chandigarh. I went to chandigarh sector 15 vodafone store and they didn't issue sim as they did not have other state sim available to them due to gst issue which they informed me. They asked me to get the sim reissued from delhi. Meanwhile they didn't even block the sim neither they guided me on sim blocking process and bill was generating on it.in july i reached delhi and went sector 18 noida vodafone store and asked for reissue of the sim.
They informed me that sim can not be reissued until i make the payment till july as the bill was generating on it. I asked the reason for bill generation which they told as it was not blocked. After this i made the payment till july and got the sim reissued. They also confirmed that it will be reactivated within 48 hours.
That reissued sim did not get reactivated in 48 hours and i followed up and complaint multiple times with customer care for 2 weeks and they said they have technical issue in reactivating this sim as the old sim is not yet blocked or still activated. I asked them how this sim was reissued to me if the old sim is still working. They had no answer for this. They said that they are trying to get this new sim activated and dragged me 1 more with week follow ups and complaints. I talked to their multiple seniors but no one could do anything and were in trying mode only.
After so many days of struggle i asked customer care to close this sim on 10th august 2017 as i was struggling from last two months. They confirmed with me asked me reasons for closing this sim i told the complete history and they confirmed to close the sim.
Now from decemeber month again i am getting the calls from vodafone legal department the my 4 months of bill is not paid and i need to make the payment. After telling he whole history they are not agreeing to it and calling my and me again again and threatening us to take to legal court. They are also giving me offer to settle it out of court settlement with 20% payment. I checked with vodafone customer care on this issue again they said they only temporarily suspended this number and it got reactivated it automatically and this is a mistake from backend team side when i didnt request or asked for reactivation and was given confirmation of closing the number due to so many problems faced then how could they reactivated it without even informing to me.
This is the latest conversation with complaint number[protected] with vodafone. Where they have confirmed me that this is their backend problem where i had already request for sim closure which is logged in their system but it still got reactivated after temporarily suspension.
Me and my wife are getting multiple calls n threats for this in our office hours.
Please help and save us from this false charges.
