Why is vodafone activating service packs on my number without my consent or permission and on top of that you are charging money everyday. I deactivated all the services in november 2017 and yet again all the 3# services i did not opt for like indiansafari pack, how to videos, re 1 store pack, games buzz are getting activated and balance is getting deducted everyday. I am a loyal and old customer and this is how you are stealing money from me forcefully. Please stop activating every goddamn pack without my consent and deactivate them immediately. I don't want the money but this is harassment and cyber theft, so stop this before it gets more messy.

    Unable to generate upc for my vodafone numbers. Everytime i try to send port out sms to 1900, i get"message sending failed" error.

    However, i am able to send sms to other numbers.

    I have contacted vodafone customer service several times and was provided with unprofessional responses like check the message settings and message centre number.

    Looks like vodafone is purposely blocking customers from migrating to other networks.

      Since reliance gsm ([protected]) has started closing it's services, it requested each of its customers to port their numbers. I also got a message from vodafone stating that i should approach the nearest retailer to port my number to vodafone.
      When i approached a retailer who has been running his office in belapur, navi mumbai, he first lied to me that my reliance number would be blocked if not ported before 30th november. I didn't take that lie seriously as i have been too busy in my own professional work. I asked him to port my number as soon as possible with cheapest plan. He told me that there are only two plans for porting, one is : 6 months plan costing ₹299 as a whole, and the other is: ₹199 plan. Obviously, it was very lucrative and reasonable to choose the first one which is valid till 6 months. But the fact is that, this glib lier completely manipulated by telling me lies and registered my number without telling me that the number had been ported to a postpaid service.
      I was infuriated and asked why he had not taken my consent but he again manipulated me with his lies and i somehow agreed to take that sim.in the office, this retailer has an unofficial and self written pamphlet hanging on his wall delineating about the 6 months plan that i took. It never said that i had to pay ₹399/ month for a period of 6 months. I am too busy in shaping my own career that i always overlook such lucrative plans and take them if some bonafide person tells me complete details about it. Retailers are the ones who are to be believed when they say about any of the plans offered by the telecom industry. Why the heck should i go and verify what a bonafide person speaks, well i don't even have any time for such things. Now that i am aware that i was befooled about the 6 months plan, about which i was told that i should only pay ₹299 once and for all.
      Now, this is too much!!! I want my number to be ported back to prepaid service and stop this ₹399/ month plan for a period of six months period. Strict action should be taken against vodafone because they have not helped me when i contacted the customer care representative. The representative only pacified me with this soothing details about the actions that would be taken in near future and i wonder if that future is waiting for me in the next century in my next birth.

        I have been using the a mobile connection since more than last 12 years and was with tata docomo. Later it was ported to vodafone. I have been heavily charged for its usage and i decided to port it to airtel on january 2017. But vodafone has rejected it with a bogus accuse that i had outstanding bills to pay.

        My busy schedule didn’t allow me to go behind this issue and i tried to port it out on 18-march-2017 after paying the entire outstanding plus excess amount to avoid the possible controversies on any outstanding bills. Even then also it was rejected accusing the same reason.

        Finally, the third time on 29-november-2017, i tried to port it out again. I paid the bill amount and rs.200/- extra towards any usage charges that may arise on the period between the porting request date and porting date. Vodafone has rejected it again saying the same reason. A screenshot is attached herewith, anyone can clarify what amount was outstanding on these days.

        They want to loot me with heavy bills.

        Please look in to this matter and do the necessary actions against them in this regard. I have been paying an average of more than rs.1000/- each month, while i could limit my bill to rs.250/- if ported to a prepaid connection of other providers. Vodafone is liable for the excess amount they have been collecting since last january from me. Please do the needful to persuade them, refund me the same immediately.

        I have again on 15-dec, initiated for porting for the fourth time and waiting for the action.

          My vodafone number is +91 [protected].

          On the 23rd oct 2017, i received a call from vodafone to upgrade my existing plan. They shared a good plan (Compared to my that time activated plan) to upgrade and asked to make advance payment for 12 months. As this was verbal communication with me. So, i asked them to share plan details on my registered email-id (I didn't shared email-id to them). After that call, i received exact plan details (Every plan detail was same as your team informed me on phone except data value, they informed 80gb per month whereas 40gb was mentioned in email) and payment method on my registered email id. After the email, they called me and i asked them to upgrade my plan as mentioned in the email i got (Note: i didn't asked to upgrade my plan over email or sms. I asked on the same call). And my plan was upgraded in sometime and then they called me to make the payment. After that i made the payment of inr 4999 to vodafone by paytm as mentioned in the email i received from vodafone team.in nov bill cycle my bill was generated of inr 1295.77. Then i complaint to 'corporatecare. [protected]@vodafone.com' (On 3rd nov 2017) regarding the bill and i also shared the case described above.

          Note: before detailing the case further, i want to make a note that your 'corporate care' team is full o[censored]nprofessional and untrained people. They do not even read the mail content and the attachments shared within the email.

          Following is the summary of conversations happened with vodafone team after 3rd nov 2017:
          06-nov-2017:
          Corporatecare. [protected]@vodafone.com: mobile number is not mentioned in the email. We request you to share the same.
          [protected]@gmail.com: i shared my mobile number in the reply and also shared that my bill of 'inr 1295.77' is generated which is wrong and i will not pay this amount till my case gets resolve.

          08-nov-2017:
          [protected]@gmail.com: i sent a reminder that i am still waiting for the response/reply from vodafone.

          09-nov-2017:
          Corporatecare. [protected]@vodafone.com: shruti mishra replied that vodafone does not offer any yearly pack of inr 4999 and i don't why she asked me to share the tariff regarding mail again. Interaction number of this mail was [protected].
          [protected]@gmail.com: i shared the email again to same email-chain and requested to resolve my case asap.

          12-nov-2017:
          Corporatecare. [protected]@vodafone.com: we would like to inform you that as per your concern we have checked your current tariff plan red 1999 unlimited is activated from dated 23-oct-17 also inform you that there is no rental for 12 months and you will get unlimited local, std and national roaming incoming/outgoing and 40gb data, 100 sms and 200 international calling. Interaction number of this mail was [protected].
          [protected]@gmail.com: i shared all the requested information again and again requested to resolve my case asap.

          13-nov-2017:
          Corporatecare. [protected]@vodafone.com: the details of your new tariff plan red 1999 unlimited @0/- are attached here with for your reference. We would like to inform you, we are check this plan will be not charged for future 11 bill cycle if you use extra benefit more than tariff plan benefit this time you are charged for usage. We would like to inform you, we are activated on your number 10gb 3g-4g free 6 bill cycle with this tariff plan red 1999 unlimited same is activated 23-oct-2017. They also shared an spreadsheet with plan details. Interaction number of this mail was [protected].
          [protected]@gmail.com: i didn't replied because i thought my case is resolved and i will not be charged from next bill cycle onward. And i also paid the inr 1296 as the bill of nov bill cycle.

          Now, same thing happened in dec bill cycle as well. This time my bill amount is 'inr 2366.81'. I again sent my queries to vodafone team on 6th dec 2017. This time vodafone again replied that 'i'll not be charged for next 11 bill cycles until i use extra benefits from my pack'. Following is the lines i got from vodafone:

          'we would like to inform you, we are check this plan will be not charged for future 11 bill cycle if you use extra benefit more than tariff plan benefit this time you are charged for usage.' interaction number [protected] for your future reference.

          I checked my bill via ivr system and found that my pending bill is same inr 2366.81. I don't know how is this going to get resolve. That's why now i am contacting you if you can help somehow. This is a humble request to ask your unprofessional team to resolve this asap or do let me know if i have to contact government of india to escalate this further. And please make sure that this get resolve before the last date of bill submit. As i don't want my number to get suspend. Thank you in advance. I am hoping a quick and positive reply this time.

          I also tried to communicate with nodal officer. However they are also unnecessarily trying to stretch this thread. I asked some queries to nodal team and they always reply some unrelated to my queries.
          Nodal team even didn't checked the reply came from 'corporate support vodafone' team on 12th nov 2017, 13th nov 2017 and 09th dec 2017. 'corporate support vodafone' have clearly mentioned that this 1999 plan is active and i will not be charged for next 11 bill cycles. These reply came from 'corporatecare. [protected]@vodafone.com' email-id. And i hope this is a valid email-id as this was shared from vodafone customer-care to me.

          Along with this, i had a call with the 'corporate care' team's member on 13th nov 2017. He clearly mentioned that this was a valid offer and same is activated on your number for next 11 months. He mentioned everything in his reply as well. You can check the call recording as well.

          Please note that whatever i mentioned in my this complaint is enclosed as documents with complete communication happened til now.

          I have also tried to contact appellate officer on 18th dec. However thy also did not responded to my email.

          Following is the further communication happened with vodafone (After sending email to appellate officer) over different channels. Following are the details:
          [18-dec-2017:] i called to 1909 and discussed my case with 'mr. Aqib ali'. He is senior customer executive in vodafone. He sincerely allowed me to describe my point and was listening me very calmly. I had a call with him for around 45 minutes. He checked all the emails sent to me from the 'corporate care' team and he also listened the 'call communication' happened between me and corporate team member and also agreed that the commitment was made to me. And he also registered a complaint on behalf of all the proofs that he got from vodafone system.

          [19-dec-2017:] i received a call from vodafone and the senior executive's name was mr. Shudhanshu. He wondered me with his reply. He said that all the communication happened till now is a fraud and he or vodafone can not help. I had a healthy discussion with him. However he was not ready to listen my points. He was just saying that contact to police. And my question is, why should i contact to police? The leakage in vodafone's system. I never requested (Via any channel) to upgrade my plan. If one can access your system and can upgrade-offer/email on behalf of you. Then i don't think if this is my responsibility to contact cyber-fraud-team or police. Along with this, three members of 'corporate care' team have already responded (On different dates 12th nov 2017, 13th nov 2017 and 09th dec 2017, in fact one guy named ganesh communicated this on call and email as well to me) that my this offer is activated and i will not be charged for next 11 bill cycles. After listening all these things, mr. Shudanshu replied (I guess with a smile) that all communication from 'corporate care' team as well is a fraud and vodafone can't help. Please note that this was the second time i was talking to mr. Shudanshu. I really don't know, on which points he is saying that my communication of 23rd oct 2017 and all the later communication with 'corporate care delhi' team is fraud.

          I am looking for the help as this is disturbing me mentally and financially both. If you can't help then just do me one favor that please share the channel to escalate my case to 'government of india'. Thank you in advance.

            Customer care just hung up on me 2 times from 10 day i am calling them to convert my number in to prepaid even after doing all the documentation the haven’t they have. Charged me 300 rs extra for no reason did a complaint about it but no response at 198. Even on voda fone online feedback portal... Worst network... They are not helping hope this helps and reaches till the top level of vodafone n let the see how the lower level are working... Vodafone you’ll really lose customer by doing all this finally thinking to port out but what about my money 300 rs they made me pay the bill of 900 the. They told to pay 200 for prepaid then again 118 then also after 10 day nothing has happened.. Hope a good support from here. Thank you vodafone such a big company wasn’t expected from you guys hope to get a call back at [protected]

                Without my concern m pesa account is opened to my number [protected] and threatening to charge penalty if i do not use it. As i do not require it, close the account immediately or else i will attempt to transfer my number to another service provider. Take immediate action in this regard to close m pesa account. It is unnecessary impose of condition on the customer, who has no interest in such things.

                  On 9th december i recharged my phone through vodafone app for 396. As per their info on app the 396 pack provides 1gb data everyday for 70 days from the date of recharge. Also i got some 19 rs. Talk time. Anyways soon i realised that some days the talkitime finishes before end of day and it will start deducting my talktime balance. The strange thing is i never download movies i see them online through apps like hotstar but it has never happened before that my data crossed 1gb in a day. But today i did not even watch a movie i just surfed few shopping apps and my data pack finished.
                  I really need an answer for this. Your call center has major issues of putting the call on wait for several minutes and the most irritating thing is playing some offer message again and again for 25mins.
                  Also your other packs o[censored]nlimited calls and 1gb data have not worked properly previously. Kindly look into the matter. I have trusted vodafone for long years and dont want to change to other carrier but this kind of fraud info and revharges in your apps will really make me change my mind.

                    Coverage n data packs... Hence, i thought to move to airtel... Then i have started

                    By speking to custmer care for solution... They keep giving non sense / irrilavent solutions:

                      Useless service provided by vodafone. I have complaint more than 3 times to deactivate my no permanently from 10 of oct 2017 till date, still this shameless company is not able to deactivate my no. My deactivate no is [protected].
                      I will recommend all my friends not to use vodafone post paid in life. Such a classless service provided by vodafone. So i request you to deactivate my no permanently.

                        Dear sir/ madam,

                        Last month 20/11/2017 my vodafone india has changed my postpaid ([protected]) plan automatically from 249rs/- to 399rs/- without my knowledge and permission
                        I have complained several time (Via chat and customer care support) to change to my previous plan 249rs/- but till date service provider not given any proper reply. Every time service provider says our support team will contact you in 24 hrs. But still date they have not provided any support or call back. This is like this service provider looting amount from there respected customers without any knowledge. May be this would have happen to many customers.
                        When i investigated my old bills, this service provider were charging extra rs20/- in every bill cycle from year 2011. Kindly understand customer feeling, we trusted, respected and believed that you will not do any change without customer knowledge and permission. We were using this service more than 10 years and we would have paid around rs 4, 00, 000 approximately till date. But this service provides has cheated us.
                        Kindly help us in taking strong action against this service provider.

                          I have been running around the voda stores since the past 10 days.
                          These cheap low lives will do anything to delay and not port your number.
                          I sent a request and confirmed on 8th dec. Cleared my bills and paid extra rs.50 for any outstanding # that they will claim.
                          On 14 dec received a sms stating it was rejected due to outstanding bill.
                          Reached out to voda chat and got a confirmation stating that the message is wrong and my port request was accepted and i will get a confirmation by 15 dec.
                          Nothing.
                          Like what the fk?
                          I went to voda store again yesterday and they stated i have outstanding bill.
                          Fking they are delaying it for no reason. I threw another rs.100 and came home.
                          "
                          Got a call just now, stating my porting request has been sent because of "network issues" and a ticket has been raised for rectifying the network issues. It will be resolved by 26 dec.
                          I dont fcking want anything to be done with this network.

                          These people are absolutely pathetic, money grubbing pigs.

                          Never ever go for vodafone!!!

                            I am manoj koli, vodafone postpaid user ([protected]) from last 5 years. From the last 5 months, my vodafone bill is exceeding from the limit as one add on plan is automatically added in my bill. Every time i complained to customer care, they promised me that it wont happen again, but again in next bill it is added. So every time when bill is generated, i have to call customer care and ask to waive off excess of bill amount.
                            When i complained in customer care, they put me hold for more then 1 hr, giving reason that their senior is not available to solve this issue. So at the every billing cycle, i am mentally, physically and financially harassed by vodafone india.
                            Please kindly look into the matter.

                              Vodafone service is disgusting with irresponsible customer care support.

                              I requested to activate my international roaming from last 15 days. Simple they are playing with me rather activate my service.

                              Advice:
                              Please if you are using vodafone & planning for international trip, then do port to other service provider & travel.

                              Such a worst international service provider i have ever seen in my life.

                                Hi,
                                I recently recharged my vodafone no. With rs347. Everything is going fine but from yesterday i am unable to connect through 3g and use 3g data. Its working fine before 18.12.2017_ but don't know what happened to it. I also called on coustomer care but nothing happened they just say we are sending you the gprs setting save it and internet will be ok. I tried a lot but nothing happening.
                                Please help.

                                  Firstly when i applied my port code from vodafone to jio, they stop my porting by sending msg that your dues are pending. My plan was of 470 inclusive of gst & from my side it was 520 was deposited & their app was also showing my bill in minus.
                                  Secondly i applied porting from voda to jio, they again rejected by sending msg that dues are pending & also they deduct my payment from their ecs also.. I again recharge for some amt. & voda app was showing -1020.00.
                                  Third time also they rejected by lying that they have got mail from my email id that i am going to port my number.
                                  Fourth time they reject by lying that you have said to our customer care executive that you will stay with us..
                                  At that time i felt so bad & said i haven't said but they not even arguing but also start fighting their employ name aslam in vodafone store, krishna nagar start fighting, some customers also start saying that he should mind his language...
                                  Then at last fifth time after this incident they approved my port..

                                    I am really pained and absolutely livid and would request vodafone to respond to this matter.

                                    Please refer to the sr nos[protected] and the subsequent sr nos[protected] and[protected] and i would like you to please listen to the voice recordings of the same in addition to several other calls made, including the one that was done today with one mr biswajit das, who was the floor supervisor.

                                    In short, on the 4th of november i had accidentally activated the international services on the vodafone app on my phone and after realising that within a few hours called the call centre asking them to deactivate it immediately.

                                    I was told that the same was not reflecting yet on the system and once it would happen then the needful would be done. Just to be on the safe side, i also told them to ensure that i am not charged as well.

                                    But as luck would have it, despite these assurances, when i received the bill on the 19th of november, the entire amount was reflecting. I have been in india throughout that period and i had clearly indicated that i was only browsing through the options and by mistake i had pressed the activate key.

                                    When i again spoke after the same, i was promised by an agent that the same would be reversed and i got the reversal amount of 5900 and the revised bill on my app. The amount was deducted and the correct amount was levied. This was on the 30 th of november

                                    However, to my utter surprise on the 5th of december the entire amount of 9667 was deducted as a direct debit instead of 3767 that was showing on my account and app.

                                    I immediately again called up and asked what was the reason and was told that there was a mistake and that the amount would be remitted asap.

                                    Today while speaking to biswajit das, he informed me that 9667 was remitted back on the 8th of december. I asked him if he could indicate to which bank account was that amount refunded. He could not answer that.

                                    I checked my axis bank account and that amount had not yet come in. Over an above that, i am now receiving calls to pay 3767 which is simply preposterous!!!

                                    In the first place

                                    1) vodafone charges me 5900 extra for service that i accidentally activated and immediately pointed it out for de-activation

                                    2) inspite of assurances that entire amount gets billed and also debited despite assurances.

                                    3) after taking it up strongly, then vodafone refunds the amount and corrects the bill to 3767, but on the 5th of december, they decide to debit the entire amount of 9667.

                                    4) then vodafone promises to refund the entire amount of 9667, which they supposedly claimed to have done on the 8th of december, for which there are no references. I have no record of receiving that payment to date.

                                    5) to add insult to injury, now vodafone is asking me to pay 3767 as the outstanding amount now!!

                                    How ridiculously can vodafone operate with this kind of erratic and uncaring behaviour??

                                    And today your floor manager has the audacity to tell me that this amount is not refundable and i have to bear the charges for a service that i accidentally activated, never used and almost within a few hours of activation requested for deactivation.

                                    And that too after vodafone clearly reversed the amount and it was reflecting on my app.

                                    Now instead of rectifying this situation and apologising for the goo[censored]p, i am being told that i have to pay for a service that i never used at all.

                                    How can vodafone renege and go back on a commitment made, even though very late and then tell a loyal old customer that it was a mistake???

                                    Can you guys make a mistake on a service request that was pending for 20 days??

                                      As i was traveling to dubai i had activated international roaming but i didn't get any message regarding internet usage so i used google map for sometimes. After that i got mail that my bill is around rs. 15000. So what can be done now i don't have that much money to pay my bill because i'm out of a job also from last few months please confirm waiting for your reply

                                        Today vodafone west bengal circle has didected rs 35 from above fone no. When we called it's customer care they denied to take any complain.
                                        They informed a value added service was activated on 9th dec. Which was not correct.
                                        We want to understand from vodafone
                                        - in prepaid service if there is not sufficient balance, how a value added service was activated?
                                        - if a service was added why a sms was not been served to customer?
                                        - why negative balance was not shown?
                                        - why vodafone wait until 18th dec for deduct mony?
                                        - why fone call/sms was not given to customer requesting to recharge?
                                        - why vodafone cannot laudge written complain and provide doc no to customer for such complain?
                                        - if vodafone don't want to take any complain than what for customer complaint no. 198?

                                        Hope will receive some satisfactory answer from vodafone. Unlike their customer care officer, they will not ignore the valued customers.
