I am a loyal vodafone user for past 6 years, with a clean record of payments

I travelled to dubai for 26th -27th july, and called customer care to check on international charges (My international roaming package of rs. 145 was on). The customer care executive told the charges to be rs. 5.5 per 10 mb, if i do not take a package.

Since i did not need it, i did not take a package. However due to some emergency i was forced to use my mobile internet on roaming and used ~ 100 mb data, aware of the fact that worst case i will touch credit limit
Despite my credit limit being 9000, the data was not disconnected till i got a message of rs. 47000 charge!! There was no intimation on charges till the one with rs. 47000.
After coming back i had to go through multiple recorded messages before i could talk to a customer care executive, who told me they can not help me with this. On top of this i got an email on 29th july stating my bill is now rs. 70000, and unless i pay all my services are off
I went to vodafone stores and they said, bill is not yet generated and my services can not be started again!
As a consumer with vodafone for 6 years, i have to wait for 7 days before vodafone generates a bill to have a working sim!!! Will vodafone take responsibility if tomorrow i face an emergency and have no way to call or inform someone??
After months of follow up, vodafone refused to answer some of the basic questions i had as a service user :
1) dynamic credit limit is increased w/o informing the consumer if they have a good record? – so basically they will penalize people for having a good track record of payment?
2) the sms i got from vodafone was only on how much mb data i have used. There was no messggae on amount spent till the bill reached 47000. First sms informing me of amount was 47000. Why was there no sms informing that i have crossed my credit limit,?
3) even if credit limit is dynamic, my limit was reset to 9000 on 29th july. Ideally i should be only charged 6500 (Which was my previous limit). If limit was rest to 9000 on july 29th, how can i be billed beyond it for usage that happened on 26th & 27th? Why was their no e-mail on 26th & 27th clearly stating that my bill would anything and credit limit has no relevance?
Seeking help on getting this matter sorted.

Please check my problem & kindly solve the problem as soon as possible also refund my chargeable amount

      Hi sir,
      I am vodafone prepaid customer from 2010. My number was [protected]. This number was deactivated on jan 2017 saying that number was not used for last 3 months but fact was it was out of sim for 1 month because of mobile instrument issue. Now from march 2017 i am asking to activate my own number they said you need to give 15000 to activate back.
      Multiple time i asked for the number on vodafone twitter handle. The only thing they replied that we are working on this and we will call you back but there is no response from them.
      Now when i called to vodafone punjab nodal office the officer said that as you are not requested the number in 90 days so we can not activate this free of cost. The fact was i start asking for activation of this number in march but my request is not considered.

      The number is still deactivated but they didnot return back my number. Please help me to return back my number.

      Repeated calls are coming from an unknown number i.e. [protected] and saying vulgar talks... kindly take strong action against the user of this number and block it immediately. the same number has been harassing for the last couple of hours...

        Initially i got a mail from vodafone on 22nd november that my unbilled amount is rs. 11, 542 i mailed them and next day i get a call that my unbilled amount is only rs. 907.

        Then again on 26th november i get a mail stating that my unbilled amount is rs. 13, 168. Now somehow after lot of requesting and asking for clarification (Which i did not get) i ask them to release the services that are barred. Now today i. E. On 29th i again get a mail that my unbilled amount is rs. 12, 233 and all my services are barred again and despite of asking and requesting for clarification i am not getting any help from anyone and i am being told to pay the unbilled amount otherwise my services will be barred only.

        Now this kind of metal harassment is really not acceptable as i how much am i supposed to pay? And why should i pay any amount unless i dont get proper clarification of such hefty amount.

        I have been constantly writing mails and calling on customer care for justification but i am not getting any help and my number is barred from all services.

        Now after all this service that i am getting i want to port out of vodafone, but i am not able to do so as my services are also barred.

        Kindly take some strict action and resolve the issue.

            On 26th aug i visited nearby vodafone store with an application and documents that i want to termiante the connection of my postpaid 3g sim. They collected the application. Then after two weeks when i called customer care, i came to know that the connection is still open and no application has been submitted. Then i visited the vodafone store once again and asked what is going on. They told it will be done, their server is down. Then i sent a mail to vodafone corporate care on 27 th of sept, and told them the whole issue, they confirmed that it will be terminated. And asked me to clear all the due bills.
            After doing so, once again i got a call from vodafone on end of october, that another bill has been generatedof of an amount of around 1700. I paid that amount also, and after a long talk i was assueed that no further bill will be generated.
            Then suddenly i got another mail saying bill generated for the month of nov.

            May i kindly know what on earth is going on. And is this the general behaviour they do with customers using postpaid connections. Or is this any kind of professional behaviour...

              I cannot send port message using vodafone sim ([protected]). I have tried several times. They are offering worst service ever, charging me way more than offers they are providing to others. I tried resolving the issue with them but it had no positive results.
              The only solution according to them is to take postpaid sim which donot want, why is difficult for them to provide me the same plans which they are providing to others.

                  Looks like this issue is faced by many consumers hence seeking intervention to ensure my charges get reverted back and vodafone finds a permanent resolution so that nobody faces this issue in future.

                  Additionally, this month again i was charged for services which are already included in the vodafone postpaid plan.

                          I got post paid connection [protected] in vodafone. I paid monthly dues regularly, because of my financial crisis i could not be able to pay june and july so i went to vodafone showroom at krishnarao tank street, madurai and request my postpaid to prepaid connection and paid all the due. After that they avoid by telling reasons.in the mean time they genereted rs 495 bill again i went to show room for my prepaid request again and again they simply avoid me and has not given service of prepaid. For the past 5 months i have not used this number for outgoing calls i switched off that number. But now they generated rs.2077 for that unused service now they torturing me for the payment. They send me bill and telling that i used out going calls to my another number [protected]. Kindly take necessary steps.

                            The worst customer service i have ever seen, i have used all the telecom services but no one cheat customer like vodafone are doing, my billing amount is 349 rupees but # charged me rupees 1569 rupees, ive sent a complaint already couple of week before mentioning there is some vas services are active on my account without my request, vodafone frauds making customers chutyes,
                            They just active some plans without our knowledge and charge huge bills.

                                Hi i am Wendy Mascarenhas. I had a vodafone number [protected]. I had a pending bill of 706.82 and i paid 1500 by mistake on 10th October i was told i will get the refund amount of 793.18 by cheque in 45 days, and i was told to pay cash of 250 for a prorated bill as i asked them to change the ownership of the number to my friend Steven, hence vodafone store took the payment of 250 and changed the ownership of the number and said i will get a chque of 793.18 by post after 45 days. Finally i recevied a chque of 546.26 by post which has a incorrect name the name on Chque is "WENDY MAASCARENHASMANAGER", so i cant evenn deposit the chque. Then i called the vodafone customer care to ask why i recevied a chque od 546.26 instead of 793.18 so they told me that cut 246.92 for the 793.92 for the pro rated bill which i already paid in cash, and they dont have any record of the cash payment. They are not logging my complaint by saying that account is closed and i am syuck with not getting my refund back.

                                  On 25.11.2017 (Saturday) i was trying to recharge my vodafone number '[protected]' with the recharge of inr 396/- via vodafone android app installed on my mobile but the same was not completed. I tried the same twice and both of the time payment was deducted from my credit card account but recharge was failed. Please help me out to get the money back in my card.

                                  This is reference to my mail to appelliate authorities of Vodafone, but all the time company was fail to fulfill what they committed on mail, I have log & send lots of mail about them are not log the appllie on 198 with a service request number but appelliate authorities never get Reply or informed me ?????

                                  As per the TERI guideline they have to update the customer on time, but without I asked about update them they reply, Allway their team & manager make a fake commitment like they provide the Booster but after commitment they not log the complaint against them .

                                  I was using Vodafone service. They are charging for 4G network for me and frequently net got disconnected and not even work as 2g . Some time call got drop or i will not able to here opposite voice.

                                    My name is vinay arora i am end user of vodafone services with the number [protected].
                                    My number has full dnd active on my number.
                                    But still i got calls from different number asking for loan, insurance, credit card etc etc.
                                    I have lodge complaints many times in vodafone. But they always closed it without calling me or without informing me about the action taken or you can say without providing resolution.
                                    Please take action against them.
                                    I willn't stop until i got resolution from them over the call

                                      Every time i try to make a call a recorded message of length 10 sec plays to link my phone number to my aadhar card. It's irritating, i understand i have to link my mobile to my aadhar card to keep my number active, but forcing me hear this every time i try to make a call is invading my rights as a consumer. When i tried contacting their customer care they told me this wont stop until i link my mobile phone number with my aadhar. Is this correct?

                                        I mohit kumar, had a reliance postpaid no.[protected]. Which i have transfered to prepaid. Vodafone ported that no. To some else with wrong portcode without my concern. I had received the port code but the code used for port the no. Is different code. It has been ported from harsha telecom rambachan chowl venoba bhave nagar mumbai
                                        I used that no. For a long time it is very important no.
                                        I am giving the proof of my bills and last call details. Hope to get best result.

                                        I still have port code which I received from reliance.But the code that Vodafone used to port my no. Is different from mine one.
                                        It was a forged port process. Responsible should be taken under concern. It is also a responsibility of Vodafone to port with correct procedure.
