Hi, i m srujana shree ([protected]) from hyderabad. Its been over a month i have ot been able to send messages from my vodafone sim. I have called customer care, but its a pre-recorded voice that guides us to press the numbers. And theres no such option which can relate to my problem and no option where i can talk to a customer care representative. Why does my message sending option even need to get deactivated? I believe its a very poor service. This mobile number is linked with all my major documents so i really dont want to change it. Please help

    Please note my september bill for amount 1756.28 was due on 13/12/2017, bill was paid on 13/10/[protected].00 rs). It is to my surprise you have charged me late fee of rs 50 for bill of last month. I am very surprised for your unethical practice. If you do not correct the bill amount immediately, i will switch to other operator. Pl. Note it was my mistake i did not switched to jio in past.
    Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    I am not able to send sms to 1900.help me in the same.

      frc could not be done

      Dear sir i activated the sim 28 days ago but when i go for frc after 3 days of activation it seems to be failed. Whenever i try to connect to customer care executive they say that the number is activated before more than 28 days ago. But it had not done even before 4 days later of activation. What to do sir??...

      This is not the first time i am having trouble with vodafone, but it was important to highlight the story this time since it got extremely frustrating.
      I am a prepaid user and i got a reacharge pack of 399, where i usually use the pack of 352. The problem started where the message explaining about the 399 pack only highlighted good details and did not mark anything about a condition stating only valid for customers willing to convert from prepaid to postpaid. After trying calls to vodafone care, and staying on call for more than 20 mins, and representative refunded my money as normal balance after deducting more tax from it, which was again fair. But i told him now can you use my existing balance to put a 352 pack instead, to which he simply said not 352 but you can use 348 this time and recharge very easily through vodafone app. I kept trying for as long as i couldn’t get anything useful since that option did not exist. I went through so much waste of time on diwali and bhai dooj days whereafter the manager in vodafone store told me that i have been misguided and i will need to put in extra money to get the pack.
      Correct information would have saved me a lot of time and frustration.
      This is just one story, while on the other hand vodafone finds great amusement in deducting money by activating anything on your phone randomly whenever you have sufficient balance. A sample of such deductions is attached below in pictures. To rectify this, i would again have to go to the store and wait in line for one hour to hear them say we cannot be helpful to you in this matter (As always).

        I made a SIM port of Docomo 1 month ago Vodafone got a month on my SIM is not gone. I have gone to the Vodafone office three times once Verification once came to my house for Verification, then I was not at home.After that I went to the Vodafone store to complain.           My father has a Vodafone prepaid number from Mumbai Circle. He has shifted to Pune and does not have any plans to go back to Mumbai. Moreover he now does not go out of the house due to old age. As a result he cannot visit any Vodafone Center to do Aadhar verification despite he has Aadhar number.

          Please propose a workable solution to this situation how he can go about doing the aadhar verification in Pune and retain the number. We are ready to port the number to Pune circle and get it transferred to my name so that I can do my Aadhar verification to that number. I (His son) am also residing in Pune.

          The constraint is that he won’t be able to visit any Vodafone Center now. He can give a letter of authority if required, signed by him and I don’t have any plans to travel to Mumbai. The procedure should be entirely completed at Pune itself. I can make visits to Vodafone Centers in Pune to take care of suggested solution.

          Please propose a workable solution to this situation and document it in the reply comments so that we can refer to that and follow it to retain the number properly as required by the aadhar linkage e-KYC initiative of the Government.

          Representatives from consumercomplaints, please forward this to Vodafone. After Vodafone proposes a workable solution to this situation within the mentioned constraints, and documents it in comments on this site, I shall mark it as Resolved.

                    My mobile number is +91 [protected], from this number i cannot send messages to any number, from oct 18th the problem occurs, when i changed my setting also i face the same problem, then i called customer care and they have guided me to contact this website, kindly unblock my mobile number to send messages. I am normal user, i rarely send messages in case of emergency purpose.

                      I have vodafone sim from which i want to port out to jio. I tried it but it is failed and i asked about reasons so every csr gives me different reasons-
                      You have outstanding amount
                      You have coroprate sim
                      We already processed request but failed from jio side

                      I tried changing my sim’s ownership but vodafone store said - you cannot change it
                      Tried migrate to prepaid but vodafone store said that they don’t have migration form.

                      This is worst experience and intolerable.
                      Vodafone should really think about their customers as i have used it for 3 years but no good service from them.

                      Please resolve this asap otherwise i need to take strict actions against vodafone legally.

                          We have a long pending complaint regarding the voice calling for vodafone corporate nos. We have the majority of vodafone corporate our oriental group of companies and in spite of repetitive complaints to your corporate relationship manager mr. Akbar sheik (Mob:- [protected]) email: akbar. [protected]@vodafone.com problems do not seem to be sorted. He had asked one technician, mr. Aniket mishra, to visit our premises and check the issue. There was some red light showing in the 3g voice calling device. The problem has not yet sorted.

                          Whenever our md or directors and senior employees visit the premises who has vodafone connection needs to step out of the office to have a communication. The voice calls drops to 2g or sometimes on e. We are in the world of 4g and ready to be upgraded to 5g but still the voice calls are dropped at the 2g network. I am afraid and scared to shift our data connection to some other better networks.

                          How bad does this looks when we are promoting the best network in our corporate office. I hope you have understood the problem pretending to the issue and feel how irritating this would be when some directors and md has to step out of the office on regular intervals to complete their calls.

                          I have written this email to you in the hope of getting the matter sorted as early as possible.

                            I had 2 postpaid sim cards from vodafone one and half year ago.
                            But i didn't use any of them as they were missing.
                            I was getting calls for payment from vodafone on my alternate no every day.
                            I paid for 60% of payment as vodafone customer care promised me both sim cards will get deactivated.
                            They broke their promise and i sent complaint email to vodafone.
                            They deactivated the sim cards now, but i'm still getting emails for outstanding extra payment from vodafdone india.

                              Vodafone india is misusing its trai issued licence to operate mobile telephony in india,

                              It does not provide 4g voice service [all voice servivce is only 3g)
                              It negligently replaced sim cards with defective sim card resulting in service outage
                              It consistently refuses to address service issues and yet expeccts payment
                              It consistently claims there are bad signal patches in mumbaii city whereas they simply dont invest enough so service qualoity is poor
                              It consiistently blamed my iphone 7 handset since feb'17 and i replaced it with an iphone8 in oct17 the results remain the same
                              They disconnected my service where m y credit limit is 1.5 lakhs and os was merely 11k [that to because of lack of service] and they had assured me of no disconnection. Yet they doisconnecgted and refused to reconnect without full payment.
                              I have made fuull payment now and shown them proof but trai needs to examine why such a companhy should have a license to operate in india

                              The Vodafone comanhy indulges in BLACKMAIL. For over 4 months they haave LIED and IGNORED my repeated requests to resolve the matter, They REFUSED to acknowledge that there is any issue at all.

                              The vodafone RM claims he has no control over how subscriber service is disconnected centrallyh bhy their computer. He claims he has escalated enough within vodafone and has 'done his duty' He also claims higher authorities wiithin Vodaone cannot be approached and refuse to meet normal customers even when their issues are unresolved. he refuses to provide any further support

                              Mr Sood the Vodafone Chairman / CEO reportedly wiill not meet any customer and expects griveances to be resolved b y his retention team. They claim there is aprotocol which they are dforced to follow and this doees not permit a consumer [HOWEVER DISTRESSED] to expect any sort of interaction or the possibility of any intervention from him. This appears strange when the RM acknowledges that I have been a subscriber with the same nuumber for more that 17 years now and I have broiught them revenue above 12 lakhs cummulatively. I am supposedly marked as an important customer and this is my plight!!!

                              I welcome Mr Sood to respond just in case he is even remotely interested in customer welfare especially since this is a customer of 17+ years with a blemishless payment record and a 0 complaint history who has now had the bitter experience of harrasment bhy Mr Sood's team for 6 month now!!!

                                I was told by vodafone customer care to recharge my vodafone number [protected] for rs 398/- to get the plan o[censored]nlimited calling for 84 days. After confirmation from customer care, i did the recharge but i got the talktime of rs 340 something instead of the said plan. After contacting customer care, they are saying the offer was not available on your number. Even after following up on this issue, they are not accepting that it was their customer care executive's fault of informing the wrong offer to me if it was not available.

                                  My email was wrongly associated with a vodafone customer. So i receive regular communication that vodafone send to its customer including monthly bills. This reveals entire customer activity to me. I notified about this to vodafone through call, email, etc., (Not once but 8 times). Still i continuously receive mails from them and no action taken against the complaint.

                                  I guess vodafone is more interested to retain its customers for money and dont care about customer privacy. Couple of mails from vodafone had a number it to call for any issues. When talking to them i found, they really dont care about customers privacy. When i said i am getting such mails, they just said we will check and update, but didnt ask any details like my email id, associated customer details (Acct number / mobile number). Without any information, how are they going to solve the issue??? I called again to provide information, but the rejected my calls. I tried to 3 different numbers everyone answered the first or second time, from then all were avoiding my calls.

                                  Not to forgot 4 others, who requested all the information and assured to remove my email id from the account, but that also never happened (And this confirmation was provided in august, 2017... I guess 3 months is not enough to remove an email)

                                  This shows how good they care for their customers and to protect their personal information. Shame on them!!!

                                    I had bought a new samsung tab a and a vodafone 4g sim from croma which was inserted to the tab by croma itself on 11.10.2017

                                    Since then, i have been receving calls on this new phone as well as my regular phone, also vodafone, and all my requests to have the sim replaced by vodafone has been in vain and an exercise in frustration.

                                    My own investigation reveals that vodafone has played a fraud by issuing an old recycled sim which has caused very serious problems for me and though we have been customers of vodafone since their very inception in india, they are least bothered as their approach is very unprofessional and totally lackadaisical.

                                    Based on this bitter experience, i would like to forewarn potential individual customers not to be carried away by vodafone's hype and advertisements.

                                      I ported my postpaid connection from airtel to vodafone a few months back and gave my 2nd airtel prepaid no. As the alternate mobile no. For vodafone's records.
                                      I have been using the airtel prepaid no. For the last 4-5 years and did not face any issue until before porting to vodafone.
                                      Due to some mismatch in vodafone's records, their 'customer service' (Which is more of customer harassment) keeps calling me on the alternate airtel prepaid no. Every 10 minutes. The call is either blank or they constantly ask for some mr. Kuldeep, who i have no connection with.
                                      Despite informing them about this issue, no resolution has been provided. They cut the call on your face if you request them to correct their records. Further instead of amending their records the only resolution eventually provided was to get in touch with airtel customer care and register for dnd. I cannot do that as i require the non-dnd no. For professional reasons, however their useless customer service fails to understand the issue.
                                      The amount of time wasted and other important calls blocked due to their constant calling is unimaginable and has been mentally disturbing.
