My email was wrongly associated with a vodafone customer. So i receive regular communication that vodafone send to its customer including monthly bills. This reveals entire customer activity to me. I notified about this to vodafone through call, email, etc., (Not once but 8 times). Still i continuously receive mails from them and no action taken against the complaint.
I guess vodafone is more interested to retain its customers for money and dont care about customer privacy. Couple of mails from vodafone had a number it to call for any issues. When talking to them i found, they really dont care about customers privacy. When i said i am getting such mails, they just said we will check and update, but didnt ask any details like my email id, associated customer details (Acct number / mobile number). Without any information, how are they going to solve the issue??? I called again to provide information, but the rejected my calls. I tried to 3 different numbers everyone answered the first or second time, from then all were avoiding my calls.
Not to forgot 4 others, who requested all the information and assured to remove my email id from the account, but that also never happened (And this confirmation was provided in august, 2017... I guess 3 months is not enough to remove an email)
This shows how good they care for their customers and to protect their personal information. Shame on them!!!
Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
