I did not use my prepaid connection for 2-3 months, and so my network was deactivated. I called vodafone's customer care and asked what i should do to get the same number reactivated. They said i have to visit a vodafone store and request for a new sim with the same number and that's exactly what i did. I went to one of the most main vodafone stores in mumbai and stood in queue for 40mins before i was serviced. And when i gave them the number and details along with the id, they said that they have "sent an e-mail" to the warehouse asking for the number's availability and i will get a phone call on my alternate number within 24-48hrs. It has now been 7 working days and i have been going there literally every single day and asking them about the status of my request and all they tell me is that there is no confirmation yet and i'll have to wait for 24-48 more hours. Is this the tech of india? I go to a vodafone store directly and they source their lame work out to their warehouse which takes this much time just to tell me if the number has been recycled or not? What happened to "databases" and virtual records? Is the person literally going through millions of files to find my number? Isn't it as simple as running a check in the database to see if the number is taken or available, and then if it is available just program it onto a blank new sim card? What century are we living in that the country with such great minds is producing such nonsense technology and work systems that everything has to be followed up physically visiting the branch every day with no success? Customer care on phone is not helping me anymore, because their answer is "go to the store, we have no details", and the store cannot help me either because their reply is "we have sent an e-mail to the warehouse team to check", so what am i supposed to do? I need that same number, it is immensely important to me, and this is literally the worst network company india has, even worse than mtnl and the other networks that come from unspoken [censored]holes. This complaint will obviously go nowhere. Some representatives will ask for my details here acting concerned and again, send me on a wild goose chase for weeks telling me they are "checking" their warehouses. It is a shame, really.

Nothing. After finally 8-9 days, again when I went to the Vodafone store, they told me they have no details. Then a miracle staff person just came up to me because he saw me there every day, and he asked what my problem was. Then when he checked, he found the SIM and number immediately and gave it to me after a simple form being filled. Thank God he existed. Otherwise Vodafone is a disgrace in the name of service.

    Charged rs 0.04 mostly everyday but i didn't use even a single kb of data and also its writtej that 0.00 mb of data used and cost is 0.04rs... Even i never opened my mobile data for past 1 month. I just want refund and action against company
    So pls take a look at this matter..
    It happens with me for almost 50 times, it means 2 rupees consumed for no reason

      My name is surendra having vodafone number as [protected]. On 30-jul-2017 i landed in south africa and after i reached here, i am unable to select any network although my frnds are able to. Could you please do the needful asap as i am unable to get any message related to my payments. I have registered this number as a register number in my all payments. I hope you will understand my issue and will resolve this asap.

        I recharged with rs.348 on 01/08/2017 and got 300 mins for all calls local and std along with 1 gb data per day. But while making call my main balance got deducted and now i am unable to make any further call. I am very unhappy with this. Please resolve the problem as soon as possible.
        I need to make calls as i am not in home and for many more reasons i need to get the solution to this problem urgently.

          Yesterday i have replacement my sim bcz i have lost my old sim card.now i take a new sim,
          Customer care executive said your sim activated till evening but now already 2 am done . My sim not active why? My sim no is[protected]

            This is to bring to your notice the discrepancy in the billing/invoicing on my vodafone account (Current relationship number[protected].

            There was an outstanding of rs.1, 827.81 against my earlier relationship number[protected]. I had requested to transfer this amount from my current account. However, instead of transferring the amount once, the amount has been transferred twice. Please refer to the transaction no.[protected]jul-17) and[protected]jul-17) in the attached statement of account.

            One of the transfers was wrongly done to another deactivated relationship number[protected], on which there was no pending dues. Because of this wrong transfer of funds, my current account is now showing an outstanding of rs.1, 827.

            And now to add to the ordeal, vodafone has barred the services on my account citing non-payment of dues.

              My vodafone number is [protected], on my recent trip to usa for 8 days vodafone india charged me the bill of 70, 000 inr. Before visit we called the customer care and requested them to activate only incoming calls and not to activate data roaming at all inspite of this after i landed in india i got a message of bill amount 70, 000 inr as outstanding amount. I visited next day to vodafone kharghar and explained and mentioned the bill amount is kind o[censored]njustifiable to that they said they will revert back and every time their customer care people call we told them the same thing and they said they will speak to the manager and revert back and reduce the bill amount.

              They did not even send a message on international rates or explained it to us over phone it is just shameful how they cheat their honest customers by giving such exorbitant bills.

              Now i found from 2013 vodafone is charging only 5 usd/ day then how my bill was 70, 000 though i have not used my phone to make calls.

              We have been their customer for more than 15 years and now we feel we should stop taking their services and report of this issue in consumer court

                Hi,
                I am facing network issues since the day i moved in to amanora park, pune. I don't get network at all. I have already sent an email on the same. This issue was not addressed by any of the representative. Please let me know whether vodafone have connectivity in the above mentioned area else i will have to switch to some other network provider. If my issue is not resolved as soon as possible i will have to discontinue with your service.

                  Absolutely horrible and service and unprofessional behaviour by vodafone. I have a dongle whose number i have been trying to deactivate for the past 3 years but to no avail. When i bought the dongle they forgot to put an "i" in the email id and updated the wrong email in their systems. When i called the customer care executive they told me they didn't have a solution for this and i would need to visit their store. When i visited their store they didn't have a solution there either and their representative told me to ignore and not discharge the bill so it would automatically get deactivate. 3 months ago my dad got a call from vodafone warning him to pay the bill otherwise they would permanently deactivate his personal number as it was the primary number associated with the dongle number. Now that we are trying to deactivate the number they have no solution for the problem yet they have no issues in asking us for payment for which we didn't avail services. The reps on the phone as well as in store are utterly rude and don't have complete knowledge. When you call the centre they tell you to go to the store and when you go to the store they tell you to call the centre. I am frustrated to my wits end and vodafone is still not able to provide a solution to me. Not to mention that all my family members use vodafone postpaid numbers. Didn't expect this from an international conglomerate especially after how competitive the cellular market has become in the last few months. Seriously considering porting numbers of all my family members to airtel

                    Hi team,

                    I was the vodafone postpaid member for last 5 years and i never faced the issue like this in the past.

                    I was requested for postpaid to prepaid conversion on june 25th by paying all the remaining amount in vodafone service center.

                    Some guy called me on june 29th and explained about some plans and to which i clearly denied offer and requested to proceed with prepaid conversation. However, he hung up the call in angry and activated the 549 plan which i never requested.

                    It took me 2 days to call the customer care service center to disconnect the plan and convert it to prepaid. Finally prepaid account got activated on july 6th.

                    However in last billing cycle due amount is showing as 693 rupees and customer care executive informed that 549 rupees also included.

                    Why your executive is forced to activate the plan even though i clearly mentioned not to activate it.

                    I cancelled the plan in 2 days still why the bill amount is showing 693.

                    Myself and my wife both are using the vodafone and if this issue did not resolved i am open to take it through social media and consumer court. I have already given the request for porting as well. If the issue did not resolved the next day itself i will port to some other network who are loyal to there customer.

                        I had paid my mobile bill through my banks mobile app. Just because i am not using vodafones application to make the payments, they are purposely barring my calls and not willing to de barr when i had already shared my transaction id.

                        Being in an advanced world a mobile company taking 72 hrs to update the payment made by the customer is a true case of arrogance by vodafone.
                        And the customer care executives are least bothered about the customer's troubles.
                        I have already faced a financial loss of rs. 50000 just because i was not able to make timely calls from my mobile even after paying my bills.

                        This company had never informed me that the payments made through banks will take 72 hrs to be updated.

                        Kindly look into the matter and buy me a compensation for my financial losses

                            Some lifestyle pack was activated illegally by vodafone and rs. 75 was deducted from my account for no reason.

                            Events:

                            On july 17th i received a message that your lifestyle pack would expire on july 20th. (I thought it's probably a free service and there's no harm in letting it expire)

                            On july 20th, rs. 75 was deducted from my account for the renewal of this service which was never requested by me. (For some reason i missed the sms and only saw it when i received another message about the expiry of the pack)

                            On calling the customer care representative, was notified that the amount cannot be refunded because the system won't allow them to. On asking what are the advantage of the pack (Since the amount was already deducted and service was active till aug 4th), the representative had no clue, as if it's a useless pack.

                            I had been using vodafone for a long time and this is the first time i am facing such an issue with vodafone. I request for a refund immediately as this is no less than looting customers

                              Am using vodafone prepaid sim, my number is 99*89, today (01.08.2017) 10.00 am i have received a text message from vodafone like "enjoy 200 local & std minutes for 28 days at rs 44., i have done recharge for rs. 44, but the benefit credited as 100 mb data for one week, instead of free local and std minutes, i have called and asked about that incorrect credit, they are saying not possible to change the benefit, you have to recharge again to rs. 30 and again 44 rs. Am using nokia basic keypad mobile no usage of data on that mobile, they are not taking any responsible to this issue, kindly give me a solution recharge ref. Id is trans id ch[protected] thank you

                                For about 4 months ago my vodafone [protected] number was barred from sending SMS. I called the customer care and they said i need to register with TRAI. I of course send messages to my friends and relatives only. How come they Barr outgoing SMS without my knowledge? Need assistance to unbarr.

                                  Recharge 345 you got 56 day internet 1 gv daily and local & std call free
                                  For 56 days.
                                  Then i have recharge 345 rupees in my vodafone no. [protected]
                                  Date -29 june 2017.
                                  But one message i got from vodafone 27 july,
                                  Hi your validity of your internet pack has expired. And local and std call not work,
                                  I called to vodafone care and told my query, but he is given me excuse for this
                                  And told me this is happening because of gst tax,
                                  Sir,

                                  Kidly provide me my same offer plan, which i got a message from vodafone customer service.

                                    In bill m/o जून 2017 paid on July VAS charged Rs-195/-added in bill was totaly worang because I am not use any kind of this service so please reverse this amount from bill and intimate me otherwise I will close vodafone connection. I am going two time at vodafone gallery but not reverse this amount.

                                        I went to europe for 10 days and recharged my postpaid account with rs.3500/- as iroam pack as the company promised that it has complete network coverage in europe.
                                        But on arrival after repeated searching and selection (As they said to do) of network i couldn't connect to any network in both paris and switzerland.
                                        And for that i had to get a local sim in emergency for communication and data and for which i had to pay almost the double amount.
                                        Again on my departure to india there was a small layover at dubai for 1 hr and on just switching on my cellphone i recieved every type of vodafone network messages and a complete network without any search.
                                        So i want to know that when vodafone couldnt get me any service in europe for which they charged me, then why should i pay them such amount.
                                        Please look into the matter and help me with my problems so that i could get the refund or credit back.
