Dear Vodafone,
My Vodafone number is [protected]
I got your postpaid SIM in last year 4th quarter (forgot the month).Frankly speaking I'm just using this number as my secondary number .When I got the SIm, I clearly told the person in the Vodafone store that I don't want data service and I need only voice service and told them I'm going to change the number to prepaid after 3 months, they said ok and all.
Then I paid the bill for 2 months,
Then this happens in the third month, my nephew who is 5 years old, took my phone and turned the internet on and started watching videos in youtube (you know how clever the kids these days are ) .Within minutes I got a call from Vodafone saying overuaage of data ( I mean what the hell ?? They activated the data service which I didn't ask for ) that's when I took the mobile from my nephew and saw that the data service is on.so I immediately turned it off
Later I got a bill from Vodafone saying 2300+ ruppes which I have to pay for using the services
I explained what happened to the Vodafone store in my town about the incident.
They told me to pay only 1000 rupees instead of full amount which I paid immediately. And they told they will viber it ( this happened in January 2017)
It is march now, till now they didn't close my bill as they said, and They are asking to pay the bill immediately to stop legal proceedings .
I have something to ask
1. Why should I pay for the service which I clearly didn't ask for
2. I'm getting calls from various number daily, have spoken to MORETHAN 20 people from Vodafone collection office.( I mean what the hell man, I can't explain the issue to each and everyone in your collection office )
3.Why single person is following the bills ??why I get a call from multiple collection office executives????
4.isnt the company responsible for activating the data service which I didn't ask for ??
5.isnt the local store responsible for this incident ???
6.who the hell is this collection office people, ??Why so many people are calling me ??Why can a single person handle this??
7.isnt the local Vodafone store responsible for activating the service which I didn't ask for ??
8.some collection office people talk harshly and speak like threatening me
Today also I spoke to the local store ([protected]). She clearly understand the issue and when I asked her why my bill is not settled yet, she asked me to pay the remaining bill. What is this?? She only told that she will viber the balance amount in January, but now telling me to pay the remaining money, this is not good.
And By the way
Do you know what she told now, she told she is able to viber only 100 ruppees, and she told I have pay because I used the data service, I asked why she activated the DATA service to my number ???She did cut my call...Is this how you treat the customers ?
Today also I got 2 calls from the collections office asking me to pay the bill and if I don't they told me they will send me a legal notice ..Their numbers are [protected], [protected]
TTELL ME WHY 2 PEOPLE CALLED ME TODAY, WHEN I EXPLAINED THE ISSUE WITH THR 1ST CALLER .??????
Worst service ever .
Activating the service which I didn't ask for is your mistake, not mine.
I have attached the bill copy for 1000rs I have paid earlier..
Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
