I called on 1925 and asked to stop my data services but these people deactivated my data plan on my prepaid number without informing me!
When I called them I was told that that's how things work and nothing can be done now!
Date :- 18th March 2017
Time :- Around 9:30 a.m
I'm planning to shift to Airtel India unless my issue is resolved at the earliest.
P.S. I've already generated the porting code.
Moreover these guys have a discriminatory policy...
One person gets good offer others get really bad offer...

    I am a Vodafone Mumbai customer, for 17 years!!! Recently, I was encouraged to sign up for a Vodafone red plan for my numbers[protected],[protected] and[protected]. I was told that I will save much because data and calls will be shared. The charges told to me were the plan charges and service tax; nothing more was to be levied. Over a few months I realised that this is how they make money by fooling us:

    1. Each additional number has a Rs. 99 charge for being on the family plan; never told to you in advance
    2. The Red family plan does not allow you free roaming in Maharashtra & Goa (I am a Mumbai circle subscriber), whereas all my numbers had this free for many years
    3. Neither the app, nor the SMS alerts tell you how much of your data allocation and call allocation (for all numbers together) you have spent; so you never realised when you have crossed your limit and they charge you for that.

    I discovered all these 3 over a period of time, and I fear that there may be others coming. I have requested for cancellation of my Red Family plan and have also asked for resolution on all the above; they dont seem to care at all, despite writing to their Nodal officer. This is how they treat 17 year old customers; I guess I will be now forced to port to a better service provider, if there is one.

    4. I have also asked for change to individual plans for each of the numbers. They do not allow me to pick a plan; but force you to sign up for a plan of their choice. Really, guys????!!!

      Hi,

      I have dispute on this bill.

      I have been charged for roaming. But when i was moving to prepaid to postpaid the agent and customer care i have been told that there wont be any charges you can go any where in india.
      So i have been moved to mumbai to delhi so why i am getting charge for roaming as per your deal there should not be any charges as it was on offer for christmas.

      My bill should be only 499 and plus i have activated some internet pack which is comes to 800 rs.

      O why vodafone is cheating. Company should be clear about their truth and they hide it though when i was moving to prepaid to postpaid i told them that i am moving delhi so there should be any charges so customer care replied no all free.

      If you guys are not doing that so i will be moving to other network and i will ask my friends too to move to other network as you guys are cheating on customer and giving big bills.

      I have been charged for 1980rs though i have unlimited calls and roaming free with pack of 499.

        Kumar bought the sim on 2008. By 2009 the balance showed (-400.00). By 2010, it got stuck at (-772.00). Till now 2017, it is same. Jivan receive all calls and messages too. But to make calls I have to unnecessary clear the due. Now they don't even give free data 100mb they used to give before......

            Vodafone is cheating us. They are telling in 348 pack they will give 1 gb 3g/4g data free per day after that speed with be drop to 128 kbps. I did this recharge but in reality after 250 mb speed is getting down drastically almost webpage also not opening. I have observed the same everyday. Vodafone is making us fool. Please ban this company. Jio is best it's network may be little poor but it doesn't cheat us like this.

                35 rs keep getting deducted from my sim card balance every 15 days. I have not activated the service. Till now, there has been deduction of 175 rs. Please de-activate the service permanently. I got an unprofessional response from the customer care executive saying that it's your mistake. Next time onwards, don't press anywhere on your mobile screen. Please do the needful and refund my money. My telephone number is [protected].

                As I raise this complaint, I have got another reminder for money deduction. I have sent STOP to 155223, but it says that I am not currently active on any service. Not expected this from Vodafone.

                  It's been only 3 months barely since I joined vodafone postpaid [protected] after getting the connection it became a headache for me, i have logged so many complaints in the past regarding the network connection at several places but nothing is being done for me, wastage of money, such a rubbish service I never expected from vodafone, if you cant provide me good service i would request you to provide me the port out no so that I can switch to another network, I will not pay the bill for such disgusting service and I will lodged a complaint in consumer court for not providing me any resolution.

                    I was also running my internet and suddenly I got a notification that your Glamour Zone Pack is activated for 7days & the 21 rupees is deduced feom your account..
                    I got notification from Vodafone care..
                    It really irritate me a lot..
                    Please solve my problem otherwise we will take a big step against it.!
                    &give my money back..

                      I ported out from Vodafone 5 months back. I even paid a last bill of around 1200 which was way higher than my usual bill of around 600. Vodafone said they did value based charging for bundled free data in my plan. Now after 5 months I am getting calls again from Vodafone for paying the due amount of around 150. They are not even providing details. Pathetic service from Vodafone even after porting out!!!

                        I am a loyal vodafone customer since years on [protected]. Recently, ported my number from Prepaid to Postpaid and chose the Red 499 plan. It is the second month using the Postpaid connection. Today morning I received a message that I have used 50% data allowed on my pack which is okay, and then 3 hours later I receive a message that I have used 90 of the data allowed on my pack which is absolute nonsense. I was in the office and was on back back calls and haven't used my data pack at all. Also, the automatic updation of Apps feature has been disabled on my phone for mobile data, The customer service care number as well as the Live chat representatives are of no use after having interacted with them.

                        Will definitely change to a different service provider if this issue is not resolved soon..

                          I got the message about free data and unlimited calls for 56 days @352 rs/-. I recharged my account with 352 rs/- and got the same benefits but validity is 28 days, which is not as expected. I want validity for 56 days. As well as, the offer was till 15 March 2017 and I did recharge on 15 March 2017. So as per the offer I should get all benefits that was mentioned in message. So please do the needful.

                          I've sent the image of the offer which I had received from Vodafone and now I'm sending image of that message which I've got after Recharge of 352 rs/-.

                          I have got my vodafone mobile number recharge with rs 250 four days back, i didn't received my recharge amount on my number, instead got a message (attached below). i have complaint them through mail and their facebook official page as well. but all in vain.

                              I am using Vodafone Prepaid sim since many years.

                              yesterday[protected] night at about 8.50 pm, I called your customer regarding the offer of 348 and your executive told that recharge with 348 and you will get unlimited call with 1gb data per day valid for 28 day I have recharged (on line) with 348 plan, through Vodafone eshop. But on 17-3-17 i was not able to access my net on my moblie so again i called your executive on 17-3-17 nd they told u cant get the benefit of 1gb as it was in offer till 15-3-17.

                              Detail as follows;-

                              I am totally disappointed and frustrated with this.

                              I request you to look into the matter seriously and direct Vodafone to give me all the benefits as above and as promised with immediate effect. Alternatively, direct to re-credit the entire sum of Rs.346/- to my Bank Account, from where recharge was made, to enable opt for similar package of other service provider.

                                3 months back, I was forced to migrate from Prepaid to Postpaid services by a Vodafone store, Garia (Kolkata) branch representative and I accepted. The bill of Rs 775 became Rs 2100 as I delayed the payment for 14 days! One of the customer care representative, named Pratik Bhattacharya used slan languages and treated me like a stray dog! I paid Rs 2100 tonight and cleared all my dues! I promise that, I will never ever become a customer of Vodafone India! They are the worst people in the world! I would recommend, never use their services! Fully duffers! They will suffer very soon! Jai Hanuman!

                                Furthermore, I can fully remember that, I paid Rs 775 for the 2nd month, and paid the fees with my sister at the Bunty (Garia) branch. But, they are saying that, I did not paid any money!!! I had to pay Rs 775 twice! WTF is this? Are the Vodafone India MAD??? They will go out of business! I will curse them, with Kali Maa's blessings!

                                  I bought a new postpaid connection by calling on 199 vodafone care on 7march. They provide me the postpaid no. [protected] with 199rs corporate monthly plan. Same day 7march the documentation was completed the vodafone executive call me and come to my residential address to take all the necessary documents his phone no. is [protected]. They take all of my documents provide me the post paia sim and plan details and told me the no. is activated in 48hrs. Then few hours later i got call from sale and service department from vodafone for confirming whether the documents are successfully submitted or not. And told me that they activate the no. by 8march just allow me 24hrs his phone no. is [protected]. Now almost 1 week already passed I can't get any responce from the activation of same moreover my they don't know about the status of the same. This is the whole service of making the fool of customers. I already have 3 postpaid connection but now I don't want any relationship with this wrost serice provider there are so any choices in the market so I moving to these operators. Now I know they won't be able to activate my postpaid connection so simply wants to return my documents and photograph which i submited to your executive at the time of documentation. Else activate my number. Moreover they are not providing any responce to me I called his customer care no. many times. I also attached all the receipts and sim details.

                                    In my number Value added service has been activated on today night 11.09 pm but i havent added anything like that.
                                    If try to call their customer care means they are not responding.

                                    For that they have charged me 35 rs i dont know whats the service is..

                                    Is there any way to claim the amount back...

                                      Dear Team,
                                      Togay again a Vodafone store(Shakarpur) executive misguided on the topic of conversion from Postpaid to Prepaid. As per my trail E-mail I have already visited to same Vodafone store for conversion of my captioned mobile number.
                                      As per the telcom regulatory authority of India customer can change their connection from Postpaid to Prepaid and Prepaid to Postpaid anytime as their convenience.
                                      If the case of Postpaid to Prepaid conversion operator need to calculate bill on Pro rata basis & It should done by operator within 48 hours. but I Visited there twice of times and both times Vodafone executive misguided me against the law of telecom. They said it can be done after bill cycle (After preparation of bill) & when I again visited today after preparation of bill same executive attended me and said the bill has not been updated in the system hence he is not able to take the request for conversion but my bil has been already delivered on my email id today 16th March 2017 at 09:24 hrs of Rs.578.02.
