    Dear Vodafone,

    Its been 13 long months since I gave my first request and mail complaint on 12/9/2015 5:52 PM for DE-activation of CUG services for my no. [protected]

    Today is 5th Aug 2016 i am writing this, I have never ever come such a company with such fraudulent billing practice where even after so many mail exchange over 1 year my CUG is still active

    Same is communicated every month to Vodafone customer care religiously after every billing cycle . They will ignore my question and reply saying - we have taken your request for CUG DE-activation

    I am really at loss of the words to express my frustration and disgust with casual attitude of Vodafone India operations

    Looking forward for some resolution through this platform

    You have still not addressed the basic question when CUG was DE-activated in Dec'15, how come CUG got activated automatically in April 2016 without intimation ?

      I had applied for postpaid on dated 10th july 2016, there was no information or procedure started from company till 25th july 2016 so i though my request is denied because there was no information from vodafone.

      So i had recharged 3g internet on my number and then on 3rd august 2016 vodafone converts my number to postpaid from prepaid without any information and also they stopped my internet service and then finally i have got loss of 2gb 3g data with balance prepaid balance.

      I had contacted many times vodafone customer care and service center but no resolution from there, they only teaches rules of company.

      Just want to stop postpaid service. revert all process of prepaid to postpaid and want my prepaid number with 2gb 3g data and balance, from last 3 days i am not able to use my internet for which i had paid.

          So I received a call in the morning from the Vodafone customer care regarding my due bills. The number was+[protected]. The correspondent was nice and friendly. However, in the evening, the same person messaged me obscene and indecent things, claiming to be the same person who had called on behalf of Vodafone earlier. His name is ayan. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable from any firm, let alone Vodafone. It could possible be a big threat to our security concerns and for the matter of fact, does no good whatsoever to the image of Vodafone. I hope you address this serious issue as soon as possible and take as strict as a action against him and ensure this does not repeat. Things like this from a firm like Vodafone is shameful and betrays our trust. I hope the issue revieves the attention it deserves. Looking forward to a favourable response.

              I want to bring this complaint to your notice as a grieved and frustrated customer of Vodafone.

              I was using a Vodafone number ([protected]) since last 9 years when I was in Kolkata. After relocating to Delhi my number got deactivated as I was not using that number much. When I visited my hometown in Dec, 15 I planned to activate my number. I contacted an executive from local Vodafone Care Centre to activate the number. The person suggested me to opt for a postpaid internet plan of Rs 250 1 GB per month for 3 months. He said after 3 months the number will move to pre-paid plan automatically and if I wish I can move the number from Kolkata to Delhi. He also mentioned that I'll be charged 4p/10Kb after exceeding 1 GB.

              On 31st Jan, 2016 I got my first bill of Rs 189 which I paid successfully. But after that I didn't got any communication of my usage or data left to be used. As I am not allowed to use smart ph in my office I can not access internet through my mobile and so there was not much usage. On 27th Feb, 2016 I got my 2nd bill which charged an unbelievable amount of Rs 2542.37 . The bill in PDF format never opened even after using the pattern of password they asked to use. I tried contacting their customer care personnel to discuss this matter but I could never speak to them as the line never get connected. The queue of bill continued till June, 16. Even in the month of March I got another bill of some Rs 3000 and then again bill of Rs 2542.37 till June, 16.

              I got a call from Mr Umapada Mishra ([protected]-Collection Dept, Kolkata) in June end, who just threatened me of court and legal action he would take against me but didn't hear a single word of my grievance. I have never seen a man of such a cold behavior dealing with customer. He shouted at me like any thing saying I have to pay the full amount and disconnected the call. The same person reached my home without notifying me. Only my elderly parents stay at my home and not me. Therefore, visiting my home is not a solution. Moreover, my mother doesn't keep well as she had a surgery in Feb, 16. The person spoke in such a way to my mother that made her nervous and she felt unwell. He left his contact number (mentioned beside his name) and asked my mother to inform me that I must call him immediately.

              I called up and tried my best to explain and settle the matter on urgent basis but by paying the right amount not the one they portrayed. The person initially said he can settle in 1800/- when I denied he said 1600/- and at last 1200/-. But none were relevant. I am very well aware how much I spent and the extra bill could be at max 500/-. Usually when I opt for 1 gb through my prepaid a/c I am not able to finish the usage and most of the time I waste 300 MB and more. But how is it possible that my bill turned out to be 2500/- just when I opted for post-paid. I asked Mr. Umapada to email me correct amount so that I can close the matter but instead of doing so he directly sent a letter from court to my residence where he visited. In the letter it was mentioned that I need to pay Rs 2542.37 in 10 days. My parents were bothered and tensed as they stay there alone.

              Seeing this I contacted Nodal Officer and Appellate Officer of Vodafone, Kolkata. But to my astonishment I didn't got a single reply from Nodal Officer. I just got 2 emails from Appellate officers [Pallavi Chattaraj (Sat) and Megha Ghoshal (Monday)] one said will revert me in 1 day and other in 2 days. Some time I got email from Pallavi and some time from Megha. This confused me who is actually taking care of the case. This shows how reluctant they are even after knowing the seriousness of the concern. Finally after sending few more emails I got a call from somebody named Neha from escalation team saying that she has received some email from my end that says I asked for discount on my bill, which was not the case. This shows she didn't even read the email properly. She was equally of cold behavior like Umapada and other staff of Vodafone Kolkata. She was behaving as if I have done some theft. I tried explaining that their team member Umapada tried negotiating the amount but she denied on my face saying nobody from their team can do so and I have to pay the amount immediately. I requested her to provide itemized bill with the details of the websites I visited but she denied and disconnected the call.

              After chasing and requesting Pallavi she sent me an itemized bill only with dates, time and amount. The charges were all shown between 19th Feb to 22nd feb, 2016. How is it possible that I used all my data only in those four days as those were working days. The whole thing seems fabricated. I requested Pallavi to show the details of website I visited during those 4 days but I haven't got any response.This is to mention that the number again got deactivated in the 1st week of March, 16 and I will never activate that number again.

              I am having sleepless nights out of this situation. I have posted my complaint in Vodafone facebook page but haven't got any serious response.
              I can't understand what to do and so thought of seeking your help as a last step.

              Hope you'll understand my situation and help me out. I have attached my itemized bill. Please let me know if you need any more information.

              I registered my complain against Vodafone here on 4th Aug, 2016. Its been more than 2 months but not a single action has been taken against them. As they were continuously chasing both me & my family members, my mother called them up and paid Rs 1800 as they asked us to settle the matter in Rs 1800 if not 2500/-.

              This is so unfair against a customer who is using Vodafone's connection since last 8-9 years. I registered my complain here with great hope that at least this forum will be of some help. But honestly it didn't proved what I thought of.

                My ordeal with vodafone started february 2016 onwards, when they charged me for 100mb used above 1gb... I was entitled to use 1.3gb on my plan and this was shown to me using the vodafone app as well... After a lot of followups and escalations nodal team reverted the amount (Which got reversed after almost 4 months+) whereas twice i received mail confirmation regarding reversal from vodafone team.
                Later i had switched to vodafone red 1299 plan, which again took multiple reminders followups and was implemented after 3 months ie, 5thjuly 2016 onwards...
                I sent a request for adding my spouse as my family member to my vodafone red 1299 plan... For which i received a mail stating 1gb 250rs plan has been enabled on my number, whereas 3gb 3g data was already active. Later after lot of followups got this reversed from the nodal team + my spouses bill. The vodafone red plan creation and family member addition took months...

                Now, my spouses data service is not working since 14/7/16 and till now i have had many many calls with helpdesk, replaced sim, visited vodafone store... Even after all this ordeal, yesterday when i called the vodafone nodal team, a person named nilesh told me to wait till evening and that too in a tone that i never expected... Totally rude, unprofessional behaviour... When i insisted on getting this resolved, he transferred the call to gprs team (Ayaz)... Till now there is not resolution nor any confirmation regarding the action..
                I'm a customer since 2003 with orange, hutch, vodafone... But they have got no consideration or are not even bothered to get this resolved.
                Vodafone and employees are taking customers for a ride and their behaviour is totally unacceptable... If im supposed to pay the bill, will they wait till a week or 15days??... And im even charged for all the calls that i make to vodafone customer care... If im paying for it, i need service else why should i pay...
                Never expected such responses from vodafone...

                4 days that they were notified ny consumercomplaint team and multiple calls to their helpline from my side.....My spouse who is added as a family member to my Vodafone Red plan and on whose number the data service is not working, got a call today from Vodafone stating an engineer might visit(I ALREADY VISITED THE VODAFONE STORE AT HIRANANDANI POWAI on 30th July 2016 where an ENGINEER Sankesh CONFIRMED he will TRY TO GET IT RESOLVED IN 24-48Hours).........Still their TEAM is resolving the case....Plus I spoke to the Nodal team, who connected me to a Manager and she said she will call back...which i believe she did, but on my spouses number...later when i called they said she is busy in a meeting and will call back after 6.30pm....Still no response....I HAVE RECEIVED A BILL ON TIME From Vodafone....I HOPE THEY UNDERSTAND, SERVICE IS TO BE RENDERED TO GET PAID...

                  Note my application has been submitted 10 days ago but there is no update from Vodafone
                  Note that the update from Reliance is that they have cleared the process and now, Vodafone needs to process the application
                  Note the update from Vodafone service center is that they will still take few more days
                  Note that I have even been to a Vodafone kiosk but they have no information
                  Advice if and when my application would be processed

                    Sir i am using vodafone postpaid connection ([protected]) since from 5 months, this month i am late to pay my bill worth rupees 1141rs, i had paid my bill on date 03.08.16,
                    But till now after the bill payment my connection not started yet. i had visit vodafone store they said some other vodafone connection [protected] by my name have outstanding amount of 4200rs, please clear those amount then they will start up my number.
                    I dont know who is using [protected] and why vodafone persons not cross check the billing addresses.
                    Please help me out, i dont wanna loose this number please

                      Suddenly a subscription called glamour zone is activated and 90 rupees is deducted. Such a shame on Vodafone that they are reducing themselves to such petty tactics of fooling and exploring customers. I have not given them any permission nor I wish to subscribe to any of their worthless subscriptions. They shoyld return my money ASAP. Shame on vodafone.

                          This is a situation where VF gives 4g sim and the speeds are pathetic, worst then 2g.
                          I had complained to the corporate assist email twice. At first the car promised for a personal follow up and hencé i had to mail second time and no revert. It was only when I chat on their app, they reacted. I received a message that it is resolved, however it's the same situation. I've got screenshot that proves their empty promises.

                          Hi all
                          I was asked to visit Vodafone store to resolve my issue, the advisor claimed that he is an expert and my issue will be resolved. However when I reached home the sign shows as e which is the lowest speed. Really a pathetic service where the world goes to 4g level and Vodafone provides age old e level of speed
                          I had received call from Vodafone center, however there's no improvement after her doing technical trouble shooting.

                            I am using vodafone for last one year, on 30 july 2016 i requested to change my tarrif plan from 499 to 299. on 1 Aug 2016 vodafone has changed my plan accordingly to my request. according to request they serve me 299 plan 1.5 GB 2G data and 500 call for a month. on dated 3 Aug 2016 my outgoing has barred due to exceeded of my credit limit. vodafone charged me for gprs service 1453 Rs.

                            now on 3 Aug 2016 since 5PM i am calling to vodafone customer care they are accepting their mistake but not acitivate my services.

                            hope my problem will resolve

                                This is the 50+ customer care call that I have received today from the same executive from Vodafone.

                                Dear Service Provider (Vodafone),

                                Kindly verify and cross verify the credibility of executives before appointing some at your call centre and disclosing personal information of your clients. I have been receiving calls from one of your customer care executives since morning (backed with registered True Caller authentication). Please redesign your customer service and call monitoring policies if required. Such an approach towards customers is completely unacceptable from a service provider of your repute.

                                  This is the second month tat vodafone has wrongly deducted money from my balance account and bringing it to 0 in less than two hours without really using any internet service the proof is the attached image which shows that the consumed data is 0 but the charge is 258. To top it all, their stupid call centers fail to address the issue which quite expected. 500 rs in two months have just disappeared. good going vodafone, i am guessing losing one customer does not really make any difference to your account!

                                    This is to bring in your kind attention that i am using vodafone post paid number [protected] i got the last bill of 2000 out of which i paid 1500 payment on 30th of july when they barred my services, even after 4 days later they barred my services once again due to which i am facing lot of problems i have important calls from HDFC bank which i could not make and receive i suffered a huge loss of 59000 rs as bank told me to receive call but due to vodafone i could not receive the calls and now HDFC is asking to pay 100000 rs for the full payment of CC which could have settled in 58000. i want the amount of 42000 as compensation from vodafone .

                                      I have taken a corporate connection a few years ago when i was working in infosys hyderabad. So, there were 2 sim cards (Cug).

                                      I have left indian in feb 2013 with one of the sims (Sim1). And the other sim (Sim2) is used by one of my family members.

                                      But what we came to know is that vodafone is sending bills worth[protected] and sometimes even more for the last 2-3 years on sim1 which is not being used as it is in usa.

                                      I must have paid atleast more than 1 lakh ruppees to vodafone on sim1. This is not the minimun charge but vodafone bills claim that sim1 is still being used in hyderabad. But i have the sim card with me in us and it is being used.

                                      I would like to have my money back. Please provide your assistance on the same.

                                        Today i checked on my phone number [protected] from*121# offer reg data which shows 2gb 3g data for 28days but after recharged i received msg that 750+ remaining balance and validity till aug 23. See howthe vodaphone company is cheating. I want that my data whatever company showing immediately transfer to my account. I made customer care complaint but they are saying we are not aware about that offer.
