Dear sir

I am using Vodafone from past 5 months and have recently recd call from retention team. And they said you will have to pay only rs 299 rental for plan and they have given assurance also for this plan. But after plan activation have interacted with customare care and visited nearest Vodafone mini store they said you will have to pay rental rs 399. Please check retention team have given false commitment

Please, look into this matter and resolve asap

    I was using corporate postpaid Vodafone sim from past 2 years(Chennai).
    When I shifted from Chennai to Delhi-NCR, I went to a Vodafone store in
    Ghaziabad to port to local number and also convert in to prepaid, on Jan-2016. The guy there who assisted me took all the necessary document,
    asked to pay an amount which was more than my unbilled amount and gave me a new sim telling that it will be activated within 7 days. I did the same. One month passed the sim didn't get activated and on one fine day when I was checking messages, there was a message that the porting has been failed. I don't know what the reason was and neither Vodafone cared to inform me through a call. I stopped paying the bill and on around March
    23rd, Vodafone guys disconnected my service, as I didn't pay the bill. I was at home (roaming) and didn't realize that my service has been disconnected. After coming to Delhi, I wrote a long mail telling what all happened and asked them to disconnect my service, on 29th March. Also these Vodafone guys were activating, I don't know some VAS and music services without even asking me, I got to know about this when I was checking messages which told that "You will be charged Rs.35/month for this service". I got a reply from Vodafone after one day telling sorry for inconvenience and we will take care of it and all bla bla, but what I asked was to disconnect the service. Only I know how much trouble it took me to make these guys understand that I want to disconnect my service. I wrote around 5-6 mails telling that I don't want to continue and each time I was getting a reply that was talking nowhere about discontinuing the service. Finally, on 7th April they told that your request from discontinuing the service has been taken and it will be done by 16th April. They also told that there is an due of Rs. 1443 on your account which I need to clear. I cleared the same on 16th and send them the snapshot, now I got the reply that there is an additional Rs.818 outstanding on your account. Really!!!. They told that this is the amount from 12-03-16 to 09-04-16. My service was discontinued since 23rd March and I take 10 days to make you guys understand that I want to discontinue the service and now I have to pay for these days, according to Vodafone. Guys date are very important here. Just imagine that 5-6 mails and around 10 days to make the customer care understand that "I want to
    discontinue". I even wrote 2-3 times that "Do you guys know English?" and
    "How to make you understand?", but every time I was getting same 'copy-paste' reply "Sorry for bla bla bla".

    If anyone can help me how to take this matter in public and let the world
    know how these guys fool their customers. I have full proof of mail chains.

    Don't worry your problem will be resolved very quickly.
    Just Write your complaint to CPGRAMS and see the effect for yourself, Include the docket no of complaint to Vodafone for reference purpose.
    The link is http://pgportal.gov.in/GrievanceNew.aspx .
    Select Grievance concern -->Central Govt then under Ministry Select --> Department Of Telecom.
    It is a Central Govt. Grievance Redressal Mechanism and it works very fine.
    I was able to get my issue resolved by Vodafone following this approach.
    And Yes Don't forget to tell others about CPGRAMS.

      Good day.
      My name is Nelson palani.I wish to put on records the treatment I received and the disgusting experience I am having on entering the Vodafone chembur store.on 25th February 2016 I came to the store to buy a wi fi dongle and extra internet time package as I was In need of the same during the board exams time for my children . The lady took down my details and did the process at the payment counter I was told that they do not accept debit or credit cards to which I had to walk around the area to find the ATM and make the payment. i was told by the person that it will take 3 to 4 hours for activaton
      after verification. Hence I was calling up for verification after 4 hours. but each time I called I got the reply that my request was not processed by the store. I must have called at least 15 times after every hour but each time I got the same answer.
      Next day I visited the store the lady who filled my form took me to the first counter where another lady was at desk and she went to check at the counter regarding the status of my request in the mean time the lady at the desk started questioning me all over again wanting to see my photo etc. when I told her that the lady who opened my account is at the counter knows the details she had the audacity to reply back saying then you speak to her and my ac opening papers which the lady who filled my form had kept at her desk was pushed aside in anger by her in the mean time another gentleman customer came and occupied the seat in front of her she started communicating with him when I told this lady that she will be responsible if any of my documents were lost or misplaced from her desk as the man also had put his papers there she back answered saying that why did I keep it at her counter when I told her that it was her colleague who had left it with her she loudly called out to her to take the papers as though she was the boss of the store and care a damn for the customer such behavior is shamefull.
      I asked the lady who filled my form is there a manager of the store she called one Mr Sandeep who said he was not the manager but was stepping in for the person temporarily. when I told him my concern he gave me the answer that there is some issues on verification which will get resolved immediately however he asked me more 24 hour time. He offered me a usb drive with 2 gb to use temporarily free of cost but when I told him that 2 gb is not sufficient and I had purchased additional time worth 1800 appx he seemed to be helpless.
      When I asked for the number of the store he said that they don’t give the no to the customer he gave me his cell no as I said I cant keep coming to the store again and again. When I reached home and tried using the usb provided by Sandeep there was frequent disconnections hence we couldn’t use it.
      As soon as I reached home I received a sms Vodafone care saying that my number was ready for tele verification when I called them the same saga continued that my adhar card proof was not updated by the store so I told them why don’t you speak to the store directly and raise my concern they said they cannot do that as they are not in contact with them and donot have their numbers or emails I wondered how do these guys communicate perhaps telepathy.
      After a couple of days I had no choice but to revisit the store .in the store when I entered I couldn’t find Sandeep bcos by this time he had started to avoid my calls I asked for Sandeep I asked one staff member where is Sandeep one said he had not come to work today and had not seen him the other one said that it was his weekly day off and the lady who filled my form did not extend any help either so I called Sandeep a couple of times he was not answering the phone. Then again I asked a fourth staff member he innocently told me that he was upstairs in their back office so I demanded to be taken to the back office or Sandeep must come down after calling him after many times he was forced to come down to see me its fascinating the team work the store has to keep saying lies give false promises and don’t deliver the goods.
      When I returned the usb and requested for a refund I was told that there is no refund policy by the company so I said you have failed to provide the goods I was told that the refund takes more than a week I was asked again to give more 24 hours .i demanded to speak to a higher authority or get the person a reluctant lady came and started arguing all over again .
      I told them do what it takes and get me a full refund to which I was told that the talk time could be transferred to any of my family members or friends number.i offered to give my bank details so that you could make a online transfer but it was refused by the lady. She was making frantic calls to people to get permission and told me that she needs approval from corporate office which is unbelievable
      I demanded cash saying that when you opened my account you demanded cash and I see there is enough cash to refund me she denied so at last she said she can give a cheque but I will have to wait for a week I agreed.
      After a few days I received a call from one of your offices saying that they will issue me two cheques and verified my name I thought the issue is resolved finally
      After a couple of days I called Sandeep again to check when I can come to the store to collect my cheque.
      He surprised me by saying that they will provide me refund by cash but he still needs to confirm however I have not heard from him again .yesterday I called him again to check on the same he said he will call back in two minutes which he has not done yet when I told him I had sent you a sms regarding the same he asked for my mobile no all over again .
      This is what Vodafone is all about just waiting to swallow peoples hard earned money and full of lies and corruption you must change your tag line from HAPPY TO HELP TO HAPPY TO HARRAS.
      So its six weeks now that Vodafone is not trying to refund my money.
      And the pathetic state of operation and administration at this store is evident of the company standards its disgracefull to say the least.

        I got a call from [protected] that was regarding my reliance mobile complaint, they asked me for my card details to refund my money, however they deducted my money from my account with below transaction detail (Purchase at vodafone-billdesk 18:00:19/63678 ), i didn't have any vodafone number, please return my money.

        Please resolve it. Its my money. Other i am planning to file a police complaint against it.

        Even with me someone tried to play the same trick toda but I was saved. They knew all details of my complaint and tried to lure me with refund. Somehow my mind alerted me after getting message from my bank. I guess this website leaks out details pf our complaint.

But from last two months the are sending wrong bill of no uses of service and after calling them they told me in the next bill wrong amount will be deduct but still the had send me rs. 600 as extra bill.

            before i proceed i want to introduce myself, this is Shishupal Singh and my number is [protected] right now i am using Vodafone service post paid sim card. previously ​i was using same number in airtel and airtel was providing me very good services and also miss called laert for life time.
            but when i met your distributor they told me that if i converted ( port) my services to Vodafone then i will get life missed call alert service but i didn't get this service.
            i already facing lots of problem regarding verification purpose you can check it out.
            i did verified myself 2 times but after that i continue getting a msg that your verification team want to meet me but right now my verification related problem is resolved but i did not get missed call alert services as your distributor promised.
            so please tell me what should i do?
            i am thinking to goto consumer court for regarding the same they promised me but didnt full filled that.
            so its humble request to resolved my issue asap.
            and also i want to switched my services to the airtel immediately i cant wait for 90days please help me regarding my problems.
            if you will not providing me free missed call alert then tell me process for moving from vodafone i cant wait for staying with vodafone for 90days.
            i really did biggest mistake to choosing vodafone you made consumer fool using fake promises. .

              I have been travelling abroad and have had to suffer the consequences of my mobile phone ([protected]) being rendered useless. The reason, as best as I can guess, is that a small payment on a backup number ([protected]), also in my name, was overdue. So, without warning, Vodafone froze my primary number and put me through severe inconvenience. As soon as I returned home, I tried calling customer service ([protected]) but, guess what - even after 5 minutes of their pathetic music and reassurance as to how important my call is, no one answered. Maybe 1.15 am in the morning is when Vodafone customer care goes to sleep - or maybe they were searching for other numbers to disconnect.
              Thanks to portability, I'm surely going to sort this out my way.

                Sir i made a recharge of 45 by finding in *111*1*1# in which there was clerly written that all local mobile 30 paisa per minute for 90 days. I did the recharge but know company is saying that it is only for local vodafone that is not enough they gave me 20 paisa per minute for all local vodafone for 28 days. I am not understanding that what type of fraud they are doing to customers.please solve transID UW[protected]

                    I asked the Vodafone customer care in Nov 2015 itself and still I am getting Vodafone bills on my number [protected]. I again asked Vodafone to disconnect my number in Jan 2016 but again I got bill for outstanding. I paid the bill in Feb and again asked for disconnection, but again I got bill in March 2016. It has been several times that I informd Vodafone by all means(emails, phone etc) to deactivate. This is ridiculous and so so pathetic of their service.

                    In detail:

                    I paid the 1670 something outstanding amount though I did not use the vodafone SIM from Nov 2015. Still there was this bill generated today saying 550 INR outstanding. I am not here to donate funds to this company that everytime they generate the bill and I pay it. Below is the email notice which I had sent to Vodafone in Feb 2016. I informed them that they do deactivate the bill within 24 hrs or else I will definitely go ahead and file first an FIR with Malad police station, and then consumer complaint asking for compensation from Vodafone. Apart from this I see so many forums on facebook, twitter, etc with negative feedback about Vodafone and I will be the additional member there criticizing their services. I am manager in Quintiles Pvt Ltd company and we have tie up with Vodafone, I will also go ahead and ask my company to break the tieup. The Vodafone customer care said to send email twice for deactivation, once before paying outstanding bill and later after paying the bill, and though I did it again there is this bill in March 2016. Is this the only business I have to do and why was it not informed before to me and why silently the Vodafone people generate the bill even after my deactivation email?. Vodafone company dont deativate and wait for next bill so that I will just keep paying bills without deactivation. I requested for deactivation in Nov 2015, then in Jan 2016 and then in Feb 2016 to Vodafone care but still payed the last outstanding. I have informed the Vodafone company that I will not pay any amount further.
                    By this complaint I report that Vodafone company has done fraud with me, has Financially and mentally tortured me and I would request for compensation and severe action to be taken against Vodafone company by this notice.

                      An agent came to provide us with a corporate plan in our office and promised us that the porting would be done in 7 working days. This has not happened now. The details were provided for the Airtel No: [protected] on 4th April, 2016. Still no updates on the same and I cannot see any progress on the porting status website: http://mnpindia.in/know-your-porting-status.aspx . This has been confirmed by a agent in Vodafone store at Sakinaka, Mumbai.

                      This is not right and what is promised must be provided to the customer.

                        On 15th April 2016, 2:39 pm, a service called MOBILE mela got activated in my number and 35 rupees got deducted from my main balance. After calling the customer care, they deactivated it and assured the refund within 30 min. But, it's almost a day gone and I am yet to get the refund. And now my IVRS 199, through which I contacted the executives is also blocked. Please help solve this problem.

                            Hi. I'm using vodafone number [protected] which belonged to mumbai circle earlier and now ported to gurgaon circle on 10th feb, 2016. In last week of December, 2016 i had activated monthly roaming plan of 75 Rs. and the last bill i received from mumbai vodafone generated on 11th feb, had charged roaming plan charges and also the roaming charges. i called gurgaon customer care to address the issue but they say as the number belonged to mumbai circle when that bill was generated they dont have any info on the charges applied.
                            Today, i visited the vodafone store in gurgaon and your executive there confirmed me that if i activate the monthly roaming plan it wont be deactivated unless i raise a deactivation request which i never did. so, again i called the mumbai customer care and the guy is saying as the number is deactivated from mumbai circle so he can't do anything.
                            I dropped email as well but they just mentioned as the plan was deactivated to roaming charges are applied but when i mentioned them that i never requested for plan deactivation. they never responded back. it has been 2 weeks now. and because of this i could not pay the bill and unnecessarily late payment charges are being added further.
                            please do the needful.

Its vodafone who's at fault by not providing any resolution after almost 2 months of me following up for the same because of which the payment is still pending.
                            If this is how you deal with your old customers then fine. terminate the number forever and forget about the bill.
                            I really must say Vodafone is a thug company.

                              I recharged cell no 9xxxxxxxx9 for rs 700 for getting talktime of rs
                              725.But i got only rs 608.35.This is ridiculous.I tweet it.Talk to
                              [protected] but use less.Also sent screenshot of recharge web page and mailed thrice to cc.Cc officials talked repeatedly but the it is not recharged with proper value.It proved that higher recharges values have serious software problems.

                                मैंने 4 अप्रैल को अपने मोबाइल नंबर [protected] पर मेरी बिना स्वीकृति के चलाई जा रही विभिन्न सेवाओं के बारे में शिकायत की थी, वोडाफोन ने इन सेवाओं के लिए पिछले कुछ सालों से इन सेवाओं का शुल्क मुझसे बे वजह वसूल रहा है। लेकिन मेरी शिकायत की ओर आपकी ओर से कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया गया। मुझे कंपनी की ओर से मेल मिली की 2 दिन में समस्या का समाधान होगा लेकिन ऐसा नहीं हुआ प्लीज मुझे बताएं कंपनी मेरी शिकायत पर क्या कार्रवाई कर रही है अन्यथा मैं उपभोक्ता फोरम की शरण लूं, जिसकी पूरी जिम्मेवारी वोडाफोन कंपनी की होगी।

                                I April 4 at his mobile number without my approval 9, 671, 759, 998 run had complained about various services, services for Vodafone in the past few years because of these services charge a fee for me bay. But from you on behalf of my complaints were ignored. Mail I received from the company in the 2nd day but it did not solve the problem, please let me know what the company is taking action on my complaint, otherwise I shall approach the Consumer Forum, which will be the responsibility of the company Vodafone.

Mobile No [protected] try to install unauthorized mobile tower on our society member shri shivaji balu chalke.who live on below adress & his son shri chetan shivaji chalke is agree with mr. Gykawad but before installation Mr. Gykawad & vodafone company does not take any necessary permition & any intimation above society members. society committee, BMC, fire brigade, Reliance Energy, Department of telecommunication & any other related necessary regarding matter.
                                  we would like to inform you that area is under slum & consistence hut. this mobile tower broadcast in limited short distance of house 8ft to 12ft. Hence, its broadcast can possible effect on human body as like skine disease, headache, cancer, high blood presure & related disease. also can possible any types of incident as like fire blast, electrical shock.
                                  Hence, we humbly request that you take immediate action & inform you related place to remove this dangerous mobile tower as early as possible.
                                  we hope that, you consult & take action sensibly.

                                    From 20th March 2016 onwards signals at Cinaibaug Industrial Estate DudheshwarRd Ahmedabad -4 are distorted and weak. Before this date everything was fine. I am using 3 numbers of Vodafone. I am having first number when Essar started this network at Varanasi. We met different customer care offices in Ahmedabad but till now we are waiting for our complaint is corrected.

                                      Today morning I woke up and saw a message (2:46am) saying that a service named' model paradise service' has been activated and 35 ₹ has been charged for 7 days...wtf... I mean really...
                                      Y shall I keep balance then in our phone...i[censored] r tend to steal our balance by auto activating services on our numbers. I can't tolerate it anymore. Earlier also I faced the same issue.. And tonight it's again...also I talked to cc and they said we can't refund your money...
                                      Vodafone be loyal to your customers.. Don't harass them...I just don't want to listen any excuse...I just want my money back...

                                      This same issue happened to me on[protected]. What is that service? I searched about that service on google, I can not find any good details. I sent a mail to vodafone customer care. Also raised a compliant on customer service.

                                        I have been harassed since cobsecutive 3 weeks by a person working in tht store whose name is shiv i have been going the like mad 3 times yet the have not activated my number and give false assurances and once he also said they forgot to come for address verufication my number has been deactivated since so long and if it completes 90 days it will be deactivated forever it is attached to many bank accounts and i have been using it sice so many years i was a fool to covert it frm docomo to vodafone plz help me
