Good day.
My name is Nelson palani.I wish to put on records the treatment I received and the disgusting experience I am having on entering the Vodafone chembur store.on 25th February 2016 I acame to the store to buy a wi fi dongle and extra internet time package as I was In need of the same during the oard exams time for my children . the lady took down my details and did the process at the payment counter I was told that they do not accept debit or credit cards to which I had to walk around the area to find the atm and make the payment.i was told by the person that it will take 3 to 4 hours for activaton
After verification. Hence I was calling up for verification after 4 hours. but each time I called I got the reply that my request was not processed by the store. I must have called at least 15 times after every hour but each time I got the same answer.
Next day I visited the store the lady who filled my form took me to the first counter where another lady was at desk and she went to check at the counter regarding the status of my request in the mean time the lady at the desk started questioning me all over again wanting to see my photo etc. when I told her that the lady at the counter knows the details she had the audacity to reply back saying then you speak to her and my ac opening papers which the lady who filled my form had kept at her desk was pushed aside in anger by her in the mean time another gentleman customer came and occupied the seat in front of her she started communicating with him when I told this lady that she will be responsible if any of my documents were lost from her desk as the man also had put his papers there she back answered saying that why did I keep it at her counter when I told her that it was her colleague who had left it with her she loudly called out to her to take the papers as though she was the boss of the store and care a damn for the customer such behavior is shamefull.
I asked the lady who filled my form is there a manager of the store she called one mr Sandeepwho said he was not the manager but was stepping in for the person temporarily. when I told him my concern he gave me the answer that there is some issues on verification which will get resolved immediately however he asked me more 24 hours time. He offered me a usb drive with 2 gb to use temporaily free of cost but when I told him that 2 gb is not sufficient and I had purchased additional time worth 1800 appx he seemed to be helpless.
When I asked for the number of the store he said that they don’t give the no to the customer he gave me his cell no as I said I cant keep coming to the store again and again. When I reached home and tried using the usb provided by Sandeep there was frequent disconnections hence we couldn’t use it.
As soon as I reached home I received a sms Vodafone care saying that my number was ready for tele verification when I called them the same saga continued that my adhar card proof was not updated by the store so I told them why don’t you speak to the store directly and raise my concern they said they cannot do that as they are not in contact with them and donot have their numbers or emails I wondered how do these guys communicate perhaps telepathy.
After a couple of days I had no choice but to revisit the store .in the store when I entered I couldn’t find Sandeep bcos by this time he had started to avoid my calls I asked for Sandeep I asked one staff member where is Sandeep one said he had not come to work today and had not seen him the other one said that it was his weekly day off and the lady who filled my form did not extend any help either so I called Sandeep a couple of times he was not answering the phone. Then again I asked a fourth staff member he innocently told me that he was upstairs in their back office so I demanded to be taken to the back office or Sandeep must come down after calling him after many times he was forced to come down to see me its fascinating the team work the store has to keep saying lies give false promises and don’t deliver the goods.
When I returned the usb and requested for a refund I was told that there is no refund policy by the company so I said you have failed to provide the goods I was told that the refund takes more than a week I was asked again to give more 24 hours .i demanded to speak to a higher authority or get the person a reluctant lady came and started arguing all over again .
I told them do what it takes and get me a full refund to which I was told that the talk time could be transferred to any of my family members or friends number.i offered to give my bank details so that you could make a online transfer but it was refused by the lady. She was making frantic calls to people to get permission and told me that she needs approval from corporate office which is unbelievable
I demanded cash saying that when you opened my account you demanded cash and I see there is enough cash to refund me she denied so at last she said she can give a cheque but I will have to wait for a week I agreed.
After a few days I received a call from one of your offices saying that they will issue me two cheques and verified my name I thought the issue is resolved finally
After a couple of days I called Sandeep again to check when I can come to the store to collect my cheque.
He surprised me by saying that they will provide me refund by cash but he still needs to confirm however I have not heard from him again .yesterday I called him again to check on the same he said he will call back in two minutes which he has not done yet when I told him I had sent you a sms regarding the same he asked for my mobile no all over again .
This is what Vodafone is all about just waiting to swallow peoples hard earned money and full of lies and corruption you must change your tag line from HAPPY TO HELP TO HAPPY TO HARRAS.
So its six weeks now that Vodafone is not trying to refund my money.
And the pathetic state of operation and administration at this store is evident of the company standards its disgracefull to say the least.

    I have recharge vodafone by internet a tariff voucher of Rs.46 on 13 apr 16 at 09:20 PM.In that recharge voucher written benefit of local mobile [protected]@1.2p/2s and valid for 60 days. But I get Rs.37 as regular talktime.I call vodafone complaint no 198 and he is telling that there is not any offer.Iwant tariff benefit not talktime.My mobile no [protected].That offer is given today also till now.

      Sir i taken Vodafone postpaid jodi nos([protected]) at the time of connection i deposited 600 rupees. at the time of porting there is excess amount of rupees 2000 and i contacted in store they said i will receive a cheque after 45 days 4 months completed i not received the amount. i going store but they are saying wait. so please make refund my deposit amount

      Plz dont take vodafone red plans, they cheat customer, the vodafone has not added a family member as per plan, ihave waited for two months again they say u have to wait for a month so i have ported to airtel

          I am filling this complaint against as there is no action on my complaint filled previously instead just they are asking for my mobile number {just a hint as i have already given them my alternate mobile number when i filled the form for the sim issues at the very first time]

          I have also tried to ask the help from online chat of vodafone but it seems that can't understand the english or they are not able to resolve the issue.
          Chat attached with this complaint.

          So now i have mentioned my contact number [alternative one] and the chat attached with this complaint

          My vodafone micro-sim having the pre-paid number [protected] has been broken down while inserting the same in the samsung mobile almost 3 months back.
          Today, i have visited the vodafone store at sector-18 noida, and request for the duplicate sim and shown my id proof, the person told me that my sim has been deactivated and the balance of almost 100+inr, it still have so to get the same you need to convert this number to postpaid service otherwise this number will be assigned to someone else and there will be no refund for 100+inr that this sim holds.
          This is entirely wrong .
          The person at the store always forces the customer to have postpaid connection instead of prepaid. This is entirely wrong and who will be responsible of my 100+inr .

          I will take this matter to the customer court if i will not get the proper reply from vodafone and also sector-18, noida vodafone store for misguiding the people and not refunding the balances incase the customer will not be interested for postpaid connection.

                This month Vodafone bill deducted 99/- MConverge Fashion [protected]@99, which I never activated. Customer care executive is not giving any valid answer for this bill. they says i clicked somewhere, eventhough i click somewhere how vodafone can bill it??
                I never used any of this portal, how can i pay for this??
                Do I need to go for consumer court for this or can solve the issue here?

                i got a call from vodafone and the reduced 99 from my bill, thanx
                Even I have same issue, This month Vodafone bill deducted
                Value Added Services (VAS) = Rs. 244/-

                Rs.99/- MConverge Fashion [protected]@99,
                Rs.90/- Unlimited Videos
                Rs.55/- Downloads (I never download)

                which I never activated.

                Please solve this issue asap.

                Immediately call to CC and ask them to deactivate those services.
                And these services are not directly from Vodafone, third party services.

                The same thing happened to me atleast 5 times. i am attaching the image of latest incident.
                It seems that if you catch that they will return it otherwise its going into their pocket.

                Its a huge waste of time and energy for me.

                  I have activated 3g internat package - 4gb (3g)+ unlimited (2 g) two days before.But i am nnot able to access internet from the day of activation till now. So requested deactivation . But no confirmation received on the same. Please dont charge me anything for two days as i have not used the package . Please respond asap.

                    I would like to like inform vodafone service is very pathetic.
                    Because i check offer my vodafone number - [protected], through ussd recharge 97 and get 1 gb for month.
                    I recharge same amount on time:[protected]:25:58 i get only 400 mb.
                    Regarding the same i call to customer care many time but customer case executive misbehave me, and he don't know how to talk customer.

                    After that send mail your nodel he saying provide screen shot.
                    Why ?
                    Where are mention that fist recharge after provide screen shot. ?

                    But i provide same. Now 24 hrs complete but i don't get any revert his side.

                      I requested vodafone on mail id corporate.[protected]@vodafone.com for closure of one of my vodafone mobile number [protected] on date 21/09/2015. They sent me confirmation mail on 23/09/2015 that they will close my connection on 28/09/2016 and i have to pay the bill for the 28 days of spetember which will come on october. I paid the bill on 19/10/2015.

                      After promising the closure of my number they keep it running for next couple of month and now they are asking me to pay bill for that period which was out of frame. When they promise me to close my number on 28/09/2015 then why should i pay for the next month since that was their mistake not mine.

                      Now after so long they are calling me and threatening me.

                      My current vodafone number is [protected].

                      Please if anyone can help.

                        Kanpur civil lines Vodafone office refusing for by saying this facility is not available for prepaid customers. If you want to do so you change your service as postpaid.

                          When i am browsing that time follo pack is activated and deducted 35 rupee.
                          In that site not mention about this pack and amount i am generally browsing…but this automatically deducted so how that follo company how got my no. And how did that people know about my balance.. So i think vodafone giving my details to that fake link companies so refund my amount…

                              Request no[protected] unauthorized activation request been raised on my mobile number - [protected] where i had already raised a request for the suspension on dec 12 and got the confirmation from customer care. I received the bill for the when my number -[protected] was under temporary suspension request. I reached the customer care there had informed sim was activated again on dec -16 as mentioned above request. When i requested for the person who raised other than me, customer care got no answers for this.

                              Siva kumar relational manager approached on temporary suspension request and i informed him sim got damaged and i am out of town i will get the new sim when i am back to town. But he asked me share the addresses of native hyderabad and informed he will be sending a new sim to me. I have not received any new sim but i suspect the person who did this unauthorized request may him.

                              Vodafone service was such a night mare there never care about customer. I been informing the executive who ever called me on this issue no one acted on this .

                              Before i raise this complaint, informed the vodafone rm on this. He was so confident and told me you can't take me, i will close were you go. Kindly request telecom india, settle this issue on penalty grounds to the service provider- vodafone

                              One word to say on vodafone relational manger and co-operate team, these people are terrible and never understand when customer approach for complaints.

                              Now the notice has been sent for bill payment where i never used in this period. I payed it but i want justice to fix this issue . Where vodafone rm team not acting the issue from no where.

                                    Hello! 54646 service is now active on your number, as requested. This service is valid till[protected] and a 7 days rental of rs.35 has been deducted.                                     I took this complaint to vodaphone shop mulund where mr vivek and a floor manager shagufta said that this service has been activated by some application in my phone... What a bad explanation by the guys they don't even know what they are suppose to say... Application cannot activate the service of vodaphone. I asked them to explain me what is 54646 service, the reply from the floor manager was it's a third party service which has been activated on my vodaphone no. If a third party is allowed to activate services on our phones then why do they have vodaphone services... It's a request to vodaphone plz hire some educated staff who know what they are suppose to say to their customer they cannot fool people by saying any rubbish... Need a refund on my no

                                      I got charged rs. 250 for surprise 'value added services'. I never clicked on any third party(D2c_verse_ipayy_50) link nor download anything. I got bill for following services which don’t even make sense from their names. To my surprise executives were not able to explain the details of the downloads for what they have charged. Details are as follows: value added services (Vas) downloads 09/03/16-10:11:11 d2c_verse_ipayy_250 i am using 399 rental plan with a 2g internet plan. Also not able to understand neither could the customer service executive able to explain charges against local calls @ 30p/[protected]@rs.30 and following charges mi_c_v_249_30d_d2gb_mofu_2g [protected]@249.
                                      Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      Using internet they cheating us by activate un wanted value added services without our permission like fashion bunny...they told they don't know about that..our paisa...thief Vodafone...cheaters...

                                      1. I went to some website I dod not press anything, twice vfone deducted 150rs n 30 rs.
                                      2. When i called their customer care rep are rude and illiterate.
                                      3. I said I will come there and show you . He said i am lying. I said i ll prove you wrong if I am wrong i ll pay 5000 i[censored] wrong u pay 10000.
                                      4. Whole company is a cheat.
                                      Caller tune was activated without my consent. I was charged 165. When i called the customer care i was told it would be refunded within 48 hours. 48 hours are over when but i did not get the refund. When i called up they said they cant do anything. I said i want to talk to someone higher & the call was disconnected. I called once again & the person without me asking said is transferring the call to his higher up & i was put on hold. After about 10 mins on hold i got to know that i will kept on hold forever, so i disconnected the call. Can anyone help.
