My name is Krishnandu Baidya, my number is [protected], I want to complain against Vodafone retention team. I generated a porting code VM269181 on 5th of June, 2021 to port out from Vodafone.
Then I got scammed by the Vodafone retention team who asked me to cancel my port-out request by assuring me that the network issue that I am facing with Vodafone network would be resolved with a new upgraded Vi sim that's going to be delivered at my door-step.
My postpaid card will be converted to prepaid. Also the amount that I have spent for port-out to Jio, i.e, 500Rs will be provided by cash & on top of that they will give me two months of free call service.
Regarding the above scam I raised a complaint by calling to [protected].on 6th of June

I have been told by the customer team that a senior executive will give me a callback and all the things that have been promised by the retention team will be provided by morning, 7th of June.
To let you know, I didn't receive any call from a senior executive of Vodafone & later I call back again & the customer care told me that no resolution would be provided & you have port out again or buy a new SIM by visiting the nearby gallery.
This is a highly unprofessional act from the Vodafone team, overall my time and money got wasted & Vodafone is taking no responsibility & isn't even providing me any kind of resolution.
I am expecting a quick resolution and callback from a senior Vodafone executive & to take this matter seriously.
Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I have raised a complaint in Vodafone against the executive from retention team on 198 toll free number on morning 6th of June, the Vodafone customer care team assured me that the issue will be resolved by 7th June & I will get a call from Senior executive from backend. I didn't receive any call from the Vodafone senior executive nor did they provide me any kind of resolution.
I call them again to know about the status of the complaint, the customer care executive asked me that to buy a new sim or again raise a new request for port out. I told them that I already wasted lots of my time & money & the company is supposed to take responsibility for that. Customer care is clueless and asking me to drop an email and wait for another 24 hours.
