I've not been getting proper Vodafone India(now VI) network in my area, Malad West, Mumbai-400095, since the beginning of 2020 when I shifted to this area. I can't call someone from my drawing room or bed room and I've always to come to my window to speak. This means, I can't comfortably talk and I don't have any privacy for talking.
Further, the data is also affected due to the network issue. It works very slowly. I have hardly used VI's data due to the network issue. Even to use VI's data, I have to come to my window! I have complained to VI about this repeatedly and their technical team states that VI doesn't have adequate coverage in my area.
I would have ported out of VI's network in early 2020 itself however, due to COVID-19 & lock down, I had to delay this procedure.
I'm frustrated and lost patience! Due to the severe network issue, I am trying to Port Out my mobile number ending in 9103, which is currently on the VI network, to JIO network. But due to VI's system issue, I'm unable to Port Out! VI's executives, senior executives, head office executives just take my complaint, complaint upon complaint but till date, they have not yet resolved the network issue or the port out issue.
For porting out, they say that there is a problem with my mobile number due to which I can't port out; however they have sent me the bill on that mobile number on time! I don't understand how there is a problem with my mobile number when I've been a long time GOLD customer (according to VI), paying my bills before time, never ever been late and never ever exceeded or misused the Data, SMS and Calls benefits given to me!
They give me a Turn Around Time (TAT) of 24 hours to resolve their system issue but they don't. This has been going on for almost a week now! I'm frustrated and fed up with VI!
I even asked them to refund the bill, as I have been facing severe network issues and my porting out issue hasn't yet been resolved by them which is causing me more inconvenience. I call and call but no one resolves my issue. They just take down my complaint, give me a TAT of 24 hours for resolution and then nothing happens. I have to repeat this procedure everyday and I think this procedure will go on for eternity!
So, following are my simple requests to VI:
- Resolve your system issue quickly so that I can Port Out my number from VI to JIO network.
- As a long time customer, who has had been facing severe network issues for more than a year, but paying his bills days before the due date and never been late, and due to VI's inconvenience which I have been facing, to reimburse the outstanding bill.
