Number Suspended Pending Verification

Hi VI Team,

I have been using Vodafone services since almost 2 years and recently a just over a month ago I opted for upgrading to postpaid from VI app. After a few days, on 1st March 2023(01/03/2024) I received a call from VI service agent asking for my address to deliver the sim. I am Vodafone customer from last 10 year even most of customer convert the sim card to other vendors, i was out of India from last 5 years and first time I got this issue when I come back and recharged with a monthly plan but 1 week is going to over but till i can't use your internet service, i though Voda is till good for me but i was wrong, i am continuously calling customer care and they are ignoring my query, first time asked to wait 24 hrs and now I called again and one agent said call us at 12 night or 6 morning to get any solution, seriously you are not going good with your service i am really disappointed with this types of services, i am your oldest customer but when I am trying my oldest sim after long time got this report, first time i have to say that Vodafone is now going in a pathetic service.

I want solution or i will switch off this sim, you can check my history i never opt any other vendors even in roaming when you charged for incoming and outgoing i was with you only but now I am really disappointed. PLEASE FEEL THE PAIN OF AN OLDEST CUSTOMER WHO IS SUFFERING.

    I am a Vodafone user for 5 years. Suddenly in Feb 2023 I got a call from Vodafone office and they said that my main balance is negative. They also said me to recharge extra 500rs. I asked them how my main balance is negative they said that I have a due while Port from another sim. But I don't have any due. My main balance is negative (-) 813rs. And now they even stopped all services without making any call . I tried to Port my number to another sim but it failed. Now my main balance is showing negative (-) 813 Rs. I don't know why this is happening. This is my prepaid SIM how its possible for negative balance. Customer care officer also unable to provide any reason why my balance shows negative.

      I have Vodafone SIM and we are using it last 5 year. Last 2 weeks I am unable to make calls. When we launch a complain in customer care they says we have negative balance that's why we are unable to make calls. I said its a prepaid SIM then how its possible. Customer care officer unable to show any cause or any documents why negative balance it occurs. Only forcing us to pay.

            For poor network coverage of in our area i decided to discontinue using VI. I sent a port sms but can’t generate the upc code which is must to port out from any network provider.
            I received a sms “ UPC cannot be generated as there are subsisting contractual obligations with your service provider. Please contact your service provider for further assistance”.
            After discussion with idea helpdesk they asked me to visit Vodafone showroombbut still not able to generate upc code. I am still getting same issue.
            Vodafone service desk is unable to provide any solution and there network service is worst after there coloration with idea.
            I urge to solve my problem as soon as possible.

                I was an VI Postpaidcustomer since last 2 years, Billinf from VI was not constant, so i have to waste my time on VI billing queries,
                In februry Bill Vi send me Bill of Rs -2049 (My Family plan was Rs 649 / month).
                After discussed with VI customer care found that Amazon Prime was subscribed without inform to me.. ( My Amazon Prime was deactivated by me before plan expired).
                On request VI waived my Rs 1270/- extra charges & they request to me me RS 884/ .
                I paid the amount and then put a request to port into VI. But no solution they have given..I seperated my Family Plan and Send a porting & Port to JIO Sim.

                Now the current bill of RS 2091/- after porting then given with previous bill and extra bill after porting.
                So i need the solution and reduce charged.extra bill.

                  I am a Vodafone user for 4 years. Suddenly in 2023 I got a call from Vodafone office and they said that my main balance is negative. They also said me to recharge extra 99rs. I asked them how my main balance is negetive they said that I have a due while Port from another sim. But I don't have any due. My main balance is negative (-) 949rs. And now they even stopped all services without call recieving. I tried to Port my number to another sim but it failed. They also cut 99rs which is needed while porting. Now my main balance is negetive (-) 850 rs. I don't know why this is happening. Please help.

                    Hi sir, I am having a big issue right now as I can't recieve any calls and sms on my vodafone number. I use this number to run my business page and since I am not able to recieve calls or sms not even OTP, I am having a big issue right now to login to my FB page. Pls solve my isssue as soon as possible.

                      " Hi! We have received & are processing your request for service Callertune Selection. Just sit back & relax, you will receive a confirmation within 2 hours. " I had received this type messages telling me that the charges are 66rs, 90rs when I haven't issued any such request..! Vi are you so free that you are day dreaming right now.. I'll not tolerate this anymore

                          Myself Prakash Senapati, currently i am facing A problem on my “VI” Number which is [protected] and the problem is i am unable to Port out my number to other operator because whenever i tried to get the UPC code by Sending message PORT(Space) MOBILE NUMBER to 1900 but i didn't get the UPC Code. From their end i gotcha a quoted message “UPC cannot be generated as there are subsisting contractual obligations with your service provider. Please contact your service provider for further assistance”.
                          Please take a look and give me a solution regards my error.

                            We are senior citzens and had taken family pack consisting of 3 connections.
                            We have been post paid customer to Vodafone for more than 2 decades.
                            Recently we been to Australia. While leaving for Australia on 21st Oct 2022, we had requested for IR pack of 28 days. Same day we received a msg that our request for 28 days IR pack has been processed.
                            Upon arrival in Australia, we found that there is no service though as per VI IR is already activated. We were not able to contact customer service/s however on 23rd Oct 22 we were able to connect VI thru wats up on the local network. VI executive/s as usual beating the bush around and kept saying that IR is already activated. We had to be serious on this and escalated the issue of non service. Finally with the help of back office and their technical team services could get activated only on 27th Oct.
                            Meanwile we received a bill for the period wherein IR pack was billed.
                            We spoke to the customer care and were informed that bill has been generated by default but start date for IR pack would be from the day service/s got activated. This means that start date for 28 days Ir pack will be reconed from 28th Oct and last till 25th Nov 22. So we made the payment of full amount.
                            To our surprise and shock this never lasted till 25th Nov 2022 and IR pack services got suspended on 18th Nov 2022. We being senior citizens were deprived of services for which VI already received payment.
                            We had lodged our serious complaints thru Wats ups and emails but VI kept beating the bush around. As we didnot want to be disconnected with our near and dears back in India, we kept extending the IR packs.
                            We have been charged for no serviec/s from 22nd Oct to 28th Oct, 11th Nov to 19th Nov 22.
                            Finally we returned to India on 6th Jan 2023. Services to our family packs were suspended pending resolution to our issue/s and grievances. As and when we called customer care/Nodal officer dept we were assured that resolution will be provided.
                            On 16th Jan2023, we were informed that on account of our grievances, VI has waived some amount and asked us to pay. We made the payment under protest so that we can avail services. The charges which has been waived/reduced are unilateral and arbitrary. There has been serious lapses and deficiency in service. this has caused not only the harrassment but frustration to senior citizens. We are ofcouse entitled for reasonable compensation from VI having caused frustrations, harrassment and deficiency in services.
                            It will not be out of place to submit that we have all the communications in black and white to the above effect and we would strongly advise VI to go thru all the communications to understand the pain and frustration we had to undergo.

                                Since Vodafone is not able to provide data service to my location i am trying to port my number to another cellular network service provider. When i am trying to generate porting code i am getting below message.

                                  I have been relocated outside of India and I have requested to terminate my other vodafone number [protected]. As per the representative, Shayani Srimani, I have cleared the due amounts and she has also provied me the closure letter for the same and she has specifically mentioned that my number got suspended and there is not such due amount I which I have to pay. But now again a bill of 66 Rs has been generated. Why this is so? I have contacted her and she mentioned that I wont have to pay that amount but I would like to know that why it has been generated?
