    VAS Services still active - After Deactivation

    I have converted my Postpaid VI number to a prepaid account a couple of months back as I had relocated to the UAE. I have raised multiple complaints on the chat support (Vi App) and contacted the local store in BTM Branch, Bengaluru. A Customer Care executive has helped in deactivating the Value Added Services Subscription ( Handset Inbuilt Games and Videos).       I am nit able to generate upc code to switch my current mobile number to other network after sending request on 1900 and getting message that upc can not be generated.I am trying it since last few montha and same thing is working fine on my other service provider side.

            Twice already my money has been deducted for this 'english seekho' to which I have never subscribed. It is very frustrating that I am messaging STOP and still no deactivation is happening. This is a terrible way to treat your customers!!!

              Annoying VAS has been an issue in India and vodafone does not fall back on this. These services are being activated on my account without an approval. It's impossible for me to activate it since the number is only used for incoming SMSes. Vodafone needs to take a strict action against this and fix their issues ASAP:

                  Dear sir / Madam,

                  I am Yatin Ram Karwal & using 2 mobile no of vodafone Idea [protected] & [protected] sending Porting message on 1900 but service to Porting has blocked by Vodafone Idea . whenever i send message to porting failure is coming. I have all visited Vodafone Idea store but executive are telling that try after 24 hours it will take but till date it is not stared . i can send message to everybody but only i can't send message to 1900

                  there is no network in vodafone idea in our area

                    Dear sir
                    I used Vi prepaid sim card No. [protected], from few months I try to port another network. I send SMS PORT [protected] at 1900 sms delivered.
                    I can not received UPC code.
                    I received reply from 1901 That UPC cannot generated for the reasons (1) There are subsisting contractual obligations with your service provider. Please contact your service provider for further assistance.

                    I contact service provider more times. but there is no result. I visit Vi store but my problem is not resolved.
                    Kindly resolve problem as early as possible.
                    This is second time I registered complain. I call customer care more time. but problem is as it is.

                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        This is Merwyn and I’m using Vodafone (VI) for the past 14yrs[protected]. I have been having issues with International Roaming charges which was imposed to me with no network/service after activating the International Roaming packages. This is the second time I’m facing the issue.
                        1. I had similar issue when I was traveling to Netherlands during April 2022 and there was no solution, I wasn’t charged for it but I had business impact on having no network while I was roaming.
                        2. I recently traveled to USA, and activated the International Roaming package of Rs 3, 999 for 10 days for free local calls and data package. From the time I activated, the network provider AT&T had only data but I wasn’t able to make any calls. I initiated the complaint request to VI and they tried helping me to switch to other network provider, T-Mobiles. I did and there I found I had no data package but the calls were going. When I checked with VI customer support team, they requested me to use T-mobiles for calls and At&T for data – which is simple a stupid workaround. Every time I had to switch to the different network manually, I had to wait for 30-45 mins to latch the signal/network. This is their fault on the network and due to this I had to miss a lot of business calls from India during the 10days visit in USA.

                        Now that VI has raised a monthly bill of Rs 5, 924 where they have charged Rs 4, 747 for International Roaming fee. I requested Vi to waive off the additional cost and quantify the value of their services for the 10days in USA and provide me an updated bill. They reached out to me and said, all they can do it they can reduce Rs1, 000 from the bill for their issue with their network. But this is absolutely not sufficient for me as this is now becoming a workaround for Vi to impose unnecessary bill to me. I requested them that I can’t pay anything above Rs 2, 000/monthly bill for the worst service and roaming package they have offered me. The support agent said he can’t do anything.

                        I’m writing to the consumer complaint board to take strict action against Vi and to waive off the International Roaming fee from my monthly bill. Hope I can get your support on this.

                          I stay in Sneh Ganga Building situated on shankerseth road near vega center swargate pune. Vodafone has installed several huge generators at Vega Center next to our building. These generators cause lot on noise and air pollution. This becomes worst when there is power cut in Vega Center, All generators are switched on simultaneously and there noise becomes unbearable. Few days back they kept all generators on continuously for more than 2 days also at night. Because of this we were unable to sleep. Children were unable to study. Kindly look into the matter and provide us quick and permanent solution.

                            I am trying to port my current Vodafone number. But when I try to get UPC through 1900 it shows the quoted response.
                            "UPC cannot be generated as there are subsisting contractual obligations with your service provider. Please contact your service provider for further assistance"

                            I contacted customer care and as per their suggestions I have visited Vodafone store but they are unable to do anything regarding this. Their version is my number is under government scanner due to connection more than 9. Checked tafcop, it shows my 3 numbers only. So tried to port my other number and it was successful. How my only Vodafone number is coming under government scanner. Please help me out.

                              I am trying to port my number to another cellular network service provider. When I am trying to generate porting code I am getting the below message.
                              "UPC cannot be generated as there are subsisting contractual obligations with your service provider"

                              The Vodafone service desk is unable to provide any solution and their network service is worst after their coloration with the idea.

                              Please help me to get out of the Vodafone network.

                                  The company is asking me to pay for a SIM card that they issued to me but wasn’t working. The sim stopped working within 5-10 days of issuing for which I went and sat at the store for 4 hours in Rajouri Garden, New Delhi. After 10 days the sim wasn’t working I raised a complaint, requested a new one and threw the old sim as the team mentioned it wasn’t catching signals for 10-12 days. They didn’t send me the new sim. I had paid for the one I got. They further deceivingly made bigger bills and kept calling me 2-4 times a day minimum and texting me from random no.s threatening me to barge into my house !!! Amidst this I changed by first (work no. ) to Airtel and I’m happy happily working with it. That was Vodafone’s highest available package and they then tried to wave off the sim payment they were wrongfully trying to obtain from me given I wouldn’t port my no. I still did coz their services are clearly incompetent and desperate and am happy I ported to Airtel but I still almost a year into it gets calls and threats.
