I am an English citizen travelling in India. I am contacting you directly due to the shocking experience I have had with the service I have received from Vodafone since my arrival here and in the hope that my problem will finally be resolved - swiftly. Upon my arrival here in India I purchased two sim cards in Trivandrum, Kerala: [protected] [protected] Each sim card was purchased with 200 mins call time and the "unlimited 3G" internet pack. Shortly after activation SMS messages from Vodafone were sent to both numbers stating that the 3G limit has been reached and that the service is being downgraded to 2G. Following these messages the service was indeed downgraded and the Internet has slowed to an unworkable (2G) speed - even though the 3G icon still displays on the iPhone home screen. This has caused major disruption to my business affairs as I am heavily reliant on fast, 3G Internet speeds for my international communications whilst here. The SMS message - received on both handsets - reads as follows: "You have consumed 2457.60 MB and reached 80% if the internet pack on your mobile..." I have tried communicating on several occasions with the customer services department - all of whom are utterly incapable o[censored]nderstanding or resolving the problem. In contacting you directly I look forward to a swift resolution to my problem, namely the restoration o[censored]nlimited 3G internet on both of the above mentioned numbers.

      I have visited several times at this store and have found half of the staff is not on seat. Customer keep waiting in lounge and staff members keep chit chat. Services of vodafone and it's staff are pathetic. Learn how to expertise in custome service or else it's easy to switch to other provider

        Hi, I’m Aniket Sanjay Pavlekar. Currently using two numbers. One was postpaid ([protected]) from the start with vodafone and other was prepaid earlier, which currently is postpaid with relationship no. 1.26210777. I was been getting calls, emailers from Vodafone for 899 red plan for [protected] later I opted for the same. In the mean time sales team called and updated you can add your other numbers in to Vodafone red family plan with one rental. I was convinced by this offer because on other prepaid number I hardly spend and neither want to spend more than 100 rs a month. While filling up the form as well I made a note on the application form (converting prepaid to postpaid) as well if both numbers can be functional under one rental then I wish to go with it. Later I came to know when I got two bills for both numbers. I contacted customer care helpline their they kept on repeating their things which I was aware where I was fooled by Vodafone. They redirected me to Vodafone store and apologized for not resolving tethe issue. I visited Vodafone new panvel store there too branch manager and 2 staff clearly said pay the pay because they I don’t have options or write mail to customer service post wait for the revert. Now from 3 months I m greetings bills for the second number (relationship no. 1.[protected] which I’m not liable to pay. The saddest part is this two numbers I’m using since 6 years. Currently they are not even ready to share the application form so I can file Sec.420 prior to proceed with TRAI and Mental harassment. Request to resolve the issue or help me to wave off my bill charges and get the number converted t prepaid as it was earlier. Or assist to file complain with Telecom Regulatory Authority of India(TRAI) and mental Harassment, fraud by Vodafone service provider. Regards, Aniket Sanjay Pavlekar Mobile # + 91 [protected]

          I amitjain is a bonafide user of vodafone, i had send a port request on 14/02/2015 nad a call from ur side came to me and they are saying dont port ur number, we will give u a postpaid plan and on 15th feb ur executive came whose no. Is [protected] and collect my document. And on 17th feb, physical verification is done by mr. Ashish whose no. Is [protected] and he is saying my no. Will be migrated in 24 hours and again on 18th feb a call came from ur side by no. [protected] saying i that my id is not clear, we will again send our executive to collect your id, but till now no one came to collect id.

          And now when i confirm this from customer care they are saying, i have to submits my id proof in yout vodafone store personally.

          Now i am facing problems.
          Kindly do the needful & oblige.

            My self sagar, I got new post paid connection for [protected] on 23rd Jan 2015 after next month they have charged 99rs for d2c_mobc_gana in mobile data which i have not used. I have 1gb (2g) data free in my plan. till today i awaited for their response but not yet clarified this issue.

              Topic: COMPLAINT AGAINST VODAFONE My name is Nishrin Painter. I was using Vodafone but once they charged excess and then refused to refund the bill. Following this, I stopped using. Months later, I receive a call saying that my bill is rs. 500. If my bill was getting overdue, y wasn't any mail or msg sent. I visited Customer Care, takled with nodal Officer, they waivered my bill n I applied deactivation of my no. Which they did. I even have the receipt n they said within 7days..it will be deactivated. Now a Show Cause notice has been sent to me. Kindly tell me what us the meaning of allthis??? When my no. Has been closed n billnhas been waived, y am I being constantly hasrrased by Vodafone people. Seriously, what is the staff doing.???

                  My name is Aniruddha Koley, son of Mr. Somesh Ranjan Koley, have a vodafone connection numbered : [protected] . On 8th March 2015 9:46:24 am & 9th March 2015 9:54:42 am I got an information from vodafone care through sms that there is a offer for that above no. of getting full talk time on recharge of Rs.63 . On 9th march 8:57:33 pm I have recharged My no. with Rs. 63, but I didn't get full talk time . The transaction ID for that recharge is K[protected], and I have got only Rs. 53.07 . I have contacted Vodafone custcare several times regarding this problem, but now they are telling me that there is no such offer, I went to nearest vodafone ministore, but they are telling the same, and one of there guy told me that "I should not believe that offer comming from vodafone care through sms 100%, its better to check by calling custcare or by checking through USSD by self" . So whom should I BELIEVE ?? How can they provide some wrong information to catch the customer & for there own profit ?? I think this is totally incorrect, illegal, offensive for giving such fake data to customer. I will be highly obliged if I get the sollution as soon as possible .                     Dear Sir\Madam, I am duraisamy. My mobile no is [protected]. Actually I have been using roaming booster for last 8 months. But as per customer care Feb 26 the plan was deactivated without any information. I have requested for a plan change 1.5 month ago. Still that plan also not changed. Last 5 months every time I have paid more than 200 per month as extra charge. I have send mail to customer care, nodal officer, ever I called nodal officer also. There is no reply, Nodal officer not picking the call . where I have to go?

                      Dear Team, Some Tiny TV services were activated on my number monday 09/03/2015 and they deduced RS 4.532 for 1 day.To deactivate SMS STOP to or call 155223 (Toll free) so i call on toll free number and got reply no services present on your number. Again today morning i got msg Tiny TV services has been renewed and RS 77 has been deducted.The service will get renewed on[protected].To deactivate SMS STOP to or call 155223.So again i have call on toll free number.                         Hi, I sent a request for activating basic international roaming on my phone in the 2nd week of January. One day later, I was told that the system has changed and I would have to verified through a personal visit. The verification executive lied about visiting my house and gave a positive verification. My basic international roaming was activated WITHOUT informing me. Since my BIR was not activated, I did not take my phone along! When I returned to India, I was shocked to see the charges for BIR. I have been following up on this since the last 10 days with no solution. The staff at Vodafone give replies which do not address my question. Vodafone is pathetic, unprofessional and out to cheat.

                          I had paid my bill amount by Cash as on 25/11/2014 Receipt no.GUJ938C[protected] at Vodafone Store, Udhna, Surat (Gujarat). But company still showing outstanding bill in this system and the problem is that they are stop my outgoing call again and again. I requested to Miss. Vinita Mam (Store In charge) at the Vodafone Store, Udhna, Surat but she is not taking seriously my complain. so it’s too difficult for me. i am also going to vodafone store and personally meet her but she is not proper answer me. I am also note my complain on vodafone toll free no. 198 and register my complain (comp no. 96378208 Dt. 07/03/2015) but still my problem is not solve.                             My tariff plan states Local V2V @1.2P per second and Local others @ 1.5 P per second. However, the charges are deducted @ 2P per second. Moreover the time is calculated as soon as I start dialling instead of considering the actual talk time. the company is merrily cheating me by showing one tariff plan and actually charging some other tariff plan.

                              Hi avinash mane, I using voidafone sim . On 3/3/2015 i having balance 98 rs. And now i check my balance it show only 20 rs. When I call customer service number (198) . Customer executive person say that dwap service is active on your mobile number. he will not refund any money. Same thing happen on Last month also some Service is activated on my mobile number reduce my balance .. For Example :- In one day a company reduce 50 rs per customer (say any service activated) 100 customer * 50 = 5000 ( per days) 5000(per days) * 360 days =1825000 amount in (per years) I show a big amount getting by this activity

                                Hello Sir, I really wondering about the last month billing for my Vodafone number. The amount is 693.00. Here is the actual; last month 22-Feb I had activated 250 plan for 3G internet via customer care, he said you will use the internet after confirmation message, but I cannot receive that message, again I will call to customer care and asking to them, she said already activated your plan for 750, I have question to her actually I have activated 250 plan why they activated 750 plan, she said sorry sir, he is activated wrongly without any intimation to you for this 750 plan, so I will deactivated that plan and again activate 250 plan and take a complaint for this wrong activation.(Check the complaint for that date) Again I have deactivated that plan 22-Feb night and also received deactivation message from Vodafone. Suddenly last month 28th evening, I have received call from Vodafone, you activated second time internet plan in this month, so you have charged in full amount for this internet plan. I was tell to him, she is not tell to me this type of activations charges, she is clearly telling 22-Feb to 28-Feb you only pay that day rental charges only (aprx-54). Check our recorded conversations. If she is tell how to I accept only for five days to pay 250 rupees and more This is not in a new, already faced two problems with Vodafone, so that only I am not using Vodafone internet. This is 3rd time my postpaid plan wrongly charged. I am really upset with Vodafone. Check my last year billing. I am a genuine customer with Vodafone. Why I am paying extra charges: First why the customer care wrongly activated 750 plan. And again the customer care not tell to me, if second time activate the internet plan you will charged full rental. I will pay the only 5 days rental. Check the amount of my billing Rs 172.36 and 205.36 this chargeable amount is not my problem Please again tell, please check with our conversation on 22-Feb. She is only tell to me, you will pay the only rental of 5 days (aprx-54). My Billing date is 19th, so please clear before billing date. I believe you understand my problem

                                    Dear Sir / Madam, I feel very sorry to make a complain as my new sim taken on[protected]Sunday). I am putting the details of the my visits and conditions. I took the new sim on[protected] from Alpha Commercial Belt Vodafone authorized stores, and the verification was done within 3 hours. It was Sunday and i went to Delhi. since i talked to the verification person and he visited and meet my father who can not produce the original or duplicate as the ID proofs were with me, i requested that i will be back within 1 hour, he can re verify. The sim services were barred by the second day. The result was that my sim was not activated. The worst part was that i was not informed regarding the activation or re submitting of documents / re verification. I visited Vodafone[protected] from Alpha Commercial Belt Vodafone authorized stores, and i was told the sim request has been rejected and you need to take new sim and all the process will be treated as new request. I never took the details of the person attending the complain as I thought it was a normal problem. But in the evening the call came that you can put the old sim and the sim will be activated. don't use new sim. but sim again not activated nor verification was done. I tried calling all the customer care no on the site ( [protected],[protected] landline for the stores many times no answered even though the call was picked up. i can submit the call details of my bill if required. After waiting for a week time, I re visited[protected] from Alpha Commercial Belt Vodafone authorized stores and met Mr Amar Pratap. I discussed regarding the sim not activated, He looked into the mater and checked the sim serial no and told me your old sim will be activated, he mailed to Mr. Ram Gupta for the needful. I Discussed that the sim was closed with the two days of activation and I will get the bill for it if you can verify the address fast and activate the sim in two days i can make the call and used the un billed amount with three four days, otherwise once again there will be issue of billing as the phone was active for two days only. Since now no one has verified the address and nor the sim has been activated. at the same day i discuses regarding the reply on the customer care nos. Which could be attended. i was given two nos.[protected] Amar Pratap, [protected] Stores. i called the nos but no one picked the phone. i have send the SMS and Whatsapp message on the nos, but that also didn't helped. Till know the phone is not activated. I have kept all the documents copies at my residence. Please arrange the verification and activate the no [protected]. on every visit i have submitted the address proof copies.

                                    I think you have not read the complete mail. I have already attached my post paid bill along with this mail once again i am attaching the same for your understanding well before you could answer this mail.
                                    Few points need to be considered before i could conclude are stated here under.
                                    1, I have already submitted the reliance bill for the two numbers [protected] GSM and [protected] CDMA. Which clearly show the clear credit limit and worthless.
                                    2, Address proof shows is the Voter ID.
                                    3, Regarding the address proof i am attaching the Gas delivery slip for the current date which is on my name and present address.
                                    4, I have called to your customer care no which dose not works, secondly i called the no of your Alpha commercial complex office at Greater Noida. Which was not attended even though it was picked and kept aside. You should feel sorry for the delay and the attitude of your customer service agent attending the complain face to face. I have told the details of the discussion also. Which make all the points very clear and the know how of you agent.

                                    If even giving this much details you are not willing to activate the no then it is up to you. The only choosing the number [protected] was to get the numbers in series to my existing last four numbers for example 4416, 4417 and 4418.
                                    I will not make the deposit payment on the terms stated on the mail. if this is the consequence then i will like to surrender the sim.with the refund if required i will give back the two sim's i have received.
                                    Please process the refund keeping in mind that the sim was operative for two odd days, as per your records it was showing[protected] will not be acceptable.

I had made a call to the complaint team of Vodafone and requested them to change my rental plans from my next billing cycle from whatever rentals and other services charges to only Rs. 99 minimum rental plan and cancel all services as I would be probably porting my number to another service provider. I was given a confirmation by the customer service officer about the call and assured that besides the Rs. 99 rental plan, 3G and all services including 30p outgoing plan etc would be deactivated from your next billing cycle which was the 7th of February. As I check my cellphone, I do see an sms on my cellphone and check some mesg with a service registration number [protected]. So hence if you see I did not use 3G on my cellphone since I was confirmed from the call centre executive that all plans would be deactivated from your next billing cycle and as you check I then after deciding not to port from Vodafone, only on 20th February activated my 3G again and did not use 3G either till 19th February at all nor used my number as was not aware of cheating of Vodafone to keep the services activated to get cheating income for the company to boost revenues. Reversal needed of Rs. 30 charged for Local 30p outgoing Reversal needed of Rs. 394.64 charged for 3G plan 850 as I was assured that it would be deactivated from 7th February the next billing cycle. Also when the retention team had given me a call to stay back with Vodafone, they had offered me a lucrative plan to retain with Vodafone but also promised a reversal of late payment charges of 2 months of Rs. 200 + Taxes as my concern that most of the times their 24 hours machine dnt function properly and neither does the machine accept credit cards when you want to make a payment. If that is the case, I guess Vodafone is just making bogus calls and cheating customers and would either like the company or the consumer forum / Indian Government to take action against the cheater company. Today I made a call to Mr. Ashish Kumar who was not willing to transfer the call to the supervisor even though I tried to make multiple ways to have a conversation nor did he raise a complaint that the concerned supervisor was not on the call available to talk. Then I spoke to Ravindra and rasied a complaint number [protected] who in turn said that you should write an email to fasten the complaint and for the call to be heard which you had made to the agent on the 02/02/2015 to attend to your issue and also regarding the promise made by the retention team on the refund of Rs. 200 Regards, Manmeet Bhamra Cell : [protected]

                                        I called up today for discussing my pending bill - where I stated that my bill was high... Akash talked to me in a rude manner - with ridicule in his voice - "As if he is educating an uneducated person"... I think - some policies of vodafone are not friendly to customers & it seems - your call centre people take pleasure in rubbing salt into customers wounds.. You may listen to the call recording.. When I felt the 'disrespect' in his voice - and asked him to put me on to a supervisor - he flatly refused again blocking me with unreasonable approach - even after my pushing him. And he told me - that I need to disconnect the phone & call up whosoever I need to call. For a moment, let us assume-that I was wrong... still if a customer insists - will your officers insult the customer, make them feel small. So - here is my complaint :::: 1. I have not been getting any sms alerts of the data pack getting overused. Without sms alert (which is protocol - they are overcharging me at my expense) 2. In 2 of the last 3 months, i have been excessively charged in my bill for data. 3. It is a normal query thus from my side - that beyond the data pack usage, top up pack should automatically be implemented - and charging without data plan is quite like ripping the customer's pocket - and a one sided billing option only favouring Vodafone... Rather than trying to be empathetic to my problem, Akash was continuously trying to outsmart me - which I think speaks very badly of the quality of people you have... I am thoroughly disappointed & am hoping to hear from your office on my complaint...
                                        Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
