I am very sad and disappointed to bring to your notice that
I had purchased Nokia Lumia 730 Dual sim Handset IMEI
NO.[protected] on 25th Dec 2014 and as per written on
handset box and as told by shopkeeper I was applicable for OFFER .As a Vodafone
subscriber I was availed by offer which has to be Auto-activated in 48 hrs for
first inserted Vodafone Sim in newly purchased Nokia lumia 730, offer was
valid till 31 Dec 2014.As it was my first inserted Vodafone sim card, shopkeeper started my net. But I was known of all the
Vodafone hidden money making tricks, since the purchase I tried calling on 198
to confirm that offer is activated on my handset and it won’t charge me for
data use but needless to say due to Vodafone lengthy waiting procedures I was
unable to connect it to customer care
although I had checked on Nokia website in Handset Details it is clearly
mentioned offer is AUTO-ACTIVATED.But
I had a doubt for Vodafone service so I kept on trying and late by 1 Jan 2015
somehow I could contact on 198 to customer care operator and I was surprised to
know that that offer is not showing in
system and my data use is being charged as I was supposed to submit the
photocopy of receipt to the Vodafone store till that time I had no clue, it was
nowhere mentioned neither on box where there was details written nor by
shopkeeper Mr.Sandeep, contact
no.[protected] J.M.Mobile shopee, JM Road Pune. I ran to Vodafone store, Bund
garden and I submitted copy of receipt to the Vodafone store. I was told by
Store guy, in 48 hrs, Nokia lumia 730
offer will be activated that offer. But for your ACKNOLEDGEMANT in less than
24 hrs I received message saying ‘The
Vodafone 730 offer is already availed on this device and cannot be availed further
‘On other side I am very much sure I
have not used much of internet although it was free to me as per offer .But
beyond my thinking in 15 days I got a bill of aprx. 1600/- in which 1000/- for
data use .
I have following issues..
1. if Offer was auto activated why I needed to submit the document, why was it not
mention anywhere. And if I was applicable for offer as per received a message that offer is already
active on my device how can it be
charged for data use .
2.I had not used much
data so that Vodafone can charge me 1000/- before activation that is before
01.01.2015 by Vodafone store .
3.In 15 days (2.01.2015 to 15.02.2015) my internet stopped
without reaching to 1GB which was as per offer I had 1GB free per month for two
months .so where is that offer gone I repeat I had not even consumed 1 GB in
less than 15 days.
I am failed to understand what kind of offer is this. Making fool of
customers .Me and my entire family has been using Vodafone since it was
BPL till date. You can check the records
.but unfortunately I am sorry to say that This cannot be acceptable, You should
have made it clear terms and conditions or don’t even give such a offers which
will waste our hard earn money by fooling customers in this manner.
I am retired person I could have afforded some data packages
if I really needed the net access instead of paying to such a nonsense amount. Kindly
resolve the same without any further delay and please look in to the
matter for better and mutual healthy relationship giving no place for
disappointment and dissatisfaction .I have already made my payment .But I would
really appreciate if you can resolve issue and my refund my money as early as
possible.
