My vodafone no is [protected]. In bill for the month of dec 2014 generated on 3rd Jan 2015, i have been charged Rs. 228 extra for downloads of some packs which i never activated on the internet. When i called customer care they said that these charges will not be reversed and the service activated would also not be deactivated. I had to pay unwilingly Rs.228 plus service tax extra to the Company But the same problem came in the bill of jan 2015 generated on 3rd Feb 2015. Now i have been charged Rs. 346 extra for the same type of downloads from the internet which i never accessed on the any of the site. Following are the charges charged by vodafone company : 02/01/15-23:37:24 d2c_shotformats_ti 99 04/01/15-11:09:21 d2c_mgossip_pack49 49 04/01/15-19:16:31 d2c_shotformats_ti 99 25/01/15-18:23:56 d2c_ndtv_valuepk_9 99 Total comes to Rs. 346. When i called customer care and asked to provide me the detail of the same, they refused and said we can not provide the name of the site from these charges are incurred. This is a clear cut case of fraud activities involved on the part of the Company. They are unnecessary keep charging us the downloading charges which i have never accessed. I have seen the same type of complaint lodged from other consumer also against Vodafone Pls do the needful at the earliest and get the charges reversed at the earliest.

    A transaction of Rs 99 + 12.3% taxes was made in my account namely d2c_ndtv_valuepk_9,

    when i called customer care, asked a few questions and got only 1 answer from customer care executive.
    1. Will i get a refund of it?
    Ans. Its a service of a 3rd party and we can not refund as you clicked on some add on some site.

    2. Why didn't vodafone asked for authorisation before charging anything to me on behalf of a 3rd party vendor.
    Ans. Its a service of a 3rd party and we do not get to know it in between the billing cycle, as you clicked on some add on some site.

    3. Why didn't vodafone send me a sms for the deduction as soon as it happened?
    Ans: Its a service of a 3rd party and we do not get to know it in between the billing cycle, as you clicked on some add on some site.

    4. How can i block such thing from happening in future?
    Ans. We do not have provision to stop this service, as it is 3rd party services.

    The solution i got after 50 mins call was,
    Don't click on any such pop up, if i do, i'll be charged.

    They cannot answer my simple question that, when all financial transactions online are opting for 2 step 3 step authorisation, how can vodafone pay money to a 3rd party in behalf of me without my consent.

    I need my current refund and a way to stop this from happening in future.

      I have been charged extra Rs.99+Rs.99 for download charges, but no downloads were ever initiated.
      On contacting the customer care, the representative talks very rudely, and when asked to talk to his manager, the manages also talks rudely and demands to cut the call instead of explaining to me about the charges.

          We M/s S K Agrawal & Co, Kolkata are using corporate Vodafone connection. We recently shifted our office to a new location in kolkata and thereafter requested vodafone to change the address in its records. Vodafone replied and gave us a list of documents to produce which included copy of a LANDLINE telephone bill at the new address. We submitted a copy of the Airtel landline bill at our office. However Vodafone refused to accept it. Now it said that they need a document by a PSU or a government agency. We submitted a copy of our bank statement from a PSU bank. Vodafone again did not accept it and is now insisting on a Trade licence. God knows when this will end.

            I bought 2 postpaid connections from Vodafone in the month of October 2014. On 1 of my number I got 3G plan activated. In the monthly bill they charged Rs 750 additional for some service which I never opted to use. They did the same in the 2nd month's bill also. After repeated complaints and even after making the payment for the bill except that additional Rs 750, which they charged, they kept on saying that they requested for waiver of the extra amount. But ultimately they did not waived it till January 2015. In January they waived off the amount of Rs 750 but only for 1 month's bill. And in between this period they disconnected line on that number for innumerable number of times, which caused a lot of botheration for me. Now they are still asking me to pay around Rs 650, which they should have waived off from the second month's bill. I again requested the store manager to waive off that amount and he said he will do it soon. Now as on 5th Feb 2015, its still not waived off and they have disconnected my other number also, as both the connections I bought together and this was a Closed User Group (CUG) connection. My second number is used for all official and business purposes and because of disconnection of this number I am facing a lot of trouble and loss in terms of money and reputation also. I want this to be fixed as soon as possible and also they should compensate me for whatever losses I have incurred because of them. My first number is [protected] (on which 3G service is active) and my second number is [protected] (which is my official and business number).

              I have opted for monthly 125 rental for the corporate plan that has been shared to me by Vodafone. However, to my surprise, that have charged us monthly rental of Rs.375. I have paid the first invoice thinking that they will adjust this in the second invoice. However, inspite of repeated mails, calls that I have been sending to Vodafone team, billing department, corporate team handling our company account, no action has been taken by them. Over to that, they continued sending invoices to me which I have denied to make the payment. Now they have sent the mail to me through their lawyer asking me to make the payment of pending invvoices along with 18% interest.                   Rs 99 was deducted from my vodafone account(no. [protected]) for "d2c ndtv" which i have not used/opted/subscribed for, on 16th jan 2015 . I have already filled a complaint in the vodafone site and informed vodofone customer care as well but no response from them and amount was not refunded till the date.                     Vodafone people disconnected my no. Mentioning there is another no. On my name which have some balance due n this no. Was deactivated an year back. N i never used this no. Still m suffering. M totally stucked neither i can msg, call nor port it to some other network. Having all my dues clear. I just don't understand this mess up. N no one is helping at vodafone india.

                        m using vodafone since 3 years now, since last 10 months m in roaming n requested vodafone care to do something wid my roaming charges.initially they were so reluctant to give any advise n straightway told to me to go to d place where ur card belongs to.for any query. In month of december a guy from customer care suggested me to activate a RAOM LIKE HOME plan which is absolutely free of cost n no monthely charge wil b applied and it wil work as my original plan which is actually a Rs 99 rental plan. but stil m getting so mch of bill amount. really m fed up of this service. i kindly request u to do something wid this otherwise i wil shift to someother service n wont even pay d billing amount.

                          Hi I am a vodafone postpaid customer. I am on roaming for last 5 months. I opted for a roaming pack of rs 75 which allows me to have unlimited incomming calls. But last month I got my bill with approx 700 rs as incomming bill. How can i get any incomming charges when I am already having a roaming free incomming pack. They said that I connected to different network. How would i know that to what network i can connecting i still paid because they said you need to connect to vodafone network manually. I paid anyways This month also i am facing the same issue. This month i was very carefull with the network i was using.

                            I have 3G plan where Internet usage if free, the company have levied downloading charges in my biills from May 2014 to Dec2014. When I actually saw the bills in December i enquired the company. Upon enquiry the company accepted that it was a mistake on thier part and assured me of the waiver of the downloading charges. The company then waived the charges of the December bill. I have since then been requesting them to waive downloading charges of the other months too. I have regulary been getting calls for payment and every time I raise the matter of the downloading charges I m being told that the waiver has already been done and the person does not bother to listen to what i say and disconnect the line. My connection no is [protected]. and I have all the relevant mail in regard to this.

                            The company have charged for two download which I have never done. As per my bill they have charged Rs. 99 for d2c_mobc_ganak_ppu and Rs.35 for mbcx_ganaw_w_35.

                            Also I recd messages that some plan is activated without my permission and for de-activate it I need to send the message on their toll free no.

                            How can company charge without my permission.

                              Dear Sir/Madam, I am Himanshu from Haridwar. I gave clear instruction to disconnect my Vodafone number [protected] in the month of (13/Sept/2014). The number was closed by Vodafone Store and I applied for refund of my security deposit money through cheque on the home address. I visited vodafone store many times and talk to Aamaan and Amit regarding my security deposit. Every time he replied, sir your security will be refund within a 7 working days. These people are making fool to the customer. After that I raise the complaint to the Vodafone Nodal Officer regarding this issue on 02/Jan/2015. I received a confirmation mail from Mr. Ashutosh Nodal Officer UK. In this mail he replied we will refund your security money within 15 working days.Today(04/Feb/2015), still waiting for my security money.

                                For the past month, i have been following up with vodafone customer care regarding levying o[censored]ndue charges on my Vodafone Number. My complaint reference number is [protected]. When i called Customer care, they told me that they cannot provide information as mine is a corporate number, so i need to write email to vodafone. I have been following up on email with vodafone, but still they are not resolving the issue even after they have acknowledged that these charges were unjustified and unaccounted for. They could not provide me the itemized details of these charges. In the bill generated by them, the charge have been added to total amount without any details. From all this, I have learned one thing, vodafone would deliberately levy these charges on customer account. As most people do not have habit of verifying their bills, they end up paying these charges. This is a deliberate act of fraud by vodafone. I told a some of my friends and when they checked their bills, there were charges similar to this. Therefore, please check your bills before payment Mine is a new number taken just 5 months back and they have levied approximately 148 in October bill and 372 in November bill excluding service tax. As there is no resolution from vodafone and it seems they do not have the intention to resolve this as well, i have no option but to close my Account with Vodafone.

[protected] in my bill downloading charge reflected RS 99/- ref. d2c_mobc_ganak_ppu. my internet plan is unlimited and i have not download any chargable item. how can vodafone paid any third party on behalf of me without permission. last month also it was charged and wave it on my request.again this month they r charging. pls do not harass this type of service from a reputed company like vodafone. pls waive my this charge and i am paying only the actual amount

                                  On serious note, if your billing system is buggy, please hire some good System Architect/Developers.

                                    Hi I was using Vodafone postpaid connection from past 2 yrs. I am also frequent user of International roaming facility of vodafone. But from past 2 months vodafone is charging me for GPRS data ( while on international roaming) which I have never used. First for nov 2014 month bill they send me an extra bill of 1875 Rs, for which I made complaints to there nodal and appellate office (Service Request Number: [protected], [protected] and [protected] ) . But there was no resolution and I was asked to pay that amount, which i have paid then. Then again for month of dec 2014 they charged me 3780 Rs as GPRS charges. Again I made complaint to nodal and appellate office Mumbai(Service Request Number: [protected] and [protected]), but this time also they are asking to pay full money and there is no resolution. Strange thing is everytime GPRS usage day is the day when I am traveling and the time is the boarding time of the flight when usually we are in security check. I even send the screen shot o[censored]sage timing specified in bill and my air ticket, but still they don’t agree. When I asked them to disconnect my connection and let settle this matter in consumer court then there retention team called me and gave me an offer that they will wave off partial amount if i should continue with this connection. I totally refused there offer. Seeing such attitude of vodafone its clear that they are not trust worthy and I dont want to be cheated by them again and again.and want wrong these charges to be waived off. Thanks Amit Nanda

                                    Even though I have submitted complaints to your nodal and aplleate ofice for which service request no are speicifed above, I have again submitted the complaint on your website as per your last message.

                                    I am still getting bills mail from vodafone until now, even knowing that this issue is not resolved.

                                        dear sir मैं वोडाफोन की सर्विस से परेशान हो चुका हूं। तीन बार कस्टमर केयर पर जाने के बाद मैंने अपने नंबर पर मेरे पर्सनल एसएमस की सुविधा शुरु करने के लिए एप्लाई किया। कस्टमर केयर एक्जिक्यूटिव द्वारा बताए गए नंबर 1909 पर मैंने तीन बार इसके लिए एसएमएस किया। लेकिन वोडाफोन ने मुझे यह सुविधा नहीं दी। जबकि एक सप्ताह में यह सुविधा प्रारंभ हो जानी चाहिए थी। इसके खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए अन्यथा मैं कंज्यूमर फोरम में जाऊंगा। my request please मेरे नंबर मेरे पर्सनल मैसेज मेरी बैंकिंग, आदि के आएं वोडाफोन व अन्य कंपनी के प्रमोशन एड मैसेज नहीं। my 1st sms 9.1.2015 2nd sms 17.1.2015 3rd sms 25.1.2015 और यह नंबर गलत है [protected]। For any queries on our products or services, call Vodafone Care on +91 [protected] from any phone or 111 chargeable at 50p for 3 mins for agent access from your Vodafone mobile phone anytime. › For any complaints, service activation /deactivation and tariff change requests you can call 198 (toll free) from your Vodafone mobile phone or email us at vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com
