    Dear OEM (Volkswagen),

    Part -1

    hi

    this is to bring to your notice that i was heading towards bangalore from chennai on 24/01/2022, and i was driving at safe speed. but all of sudden the vehicle started to loose control steering to left and right and on applying brakes the vehicle skidded which is difficult to believe, since the vehicle is equipped with abs and ebd.

    the consequence of above incident is the vehicle crashed to the bridge and airbags opened and front and back got damaged and only fortunate thing is, didnt collide with any other vehicle or anyone else.

    the vehicle was just serviced couple of weeks back when the odo reading was 7500 kms . i am not able to understand from a brand which boasts of quality, such malfunction and a severe damage.

    the vehicle was tolled using volkswagen rsa to nearest dealer ( Susee motors, vellore).Kindly investigate into the above incidents and reach out to me if any further details are required.

    I would like to receive a reply from your end at the earliest. till today i have not received any support from your end . Why is there no response from your side? Why no one contacted me Also kwhy there is no action susee motors(vellore) who have not yet provided the root cause for malfunction of vehicle which lead to to loose of steering control and brakes skidded on applying( what's the purpose of ABS + EBD) . Please note the vehicle is just four months old and was serviced at palace cross volkswagen bangalore before the accident at 7500km exactly on time. I doubt they did any real service or changed the parts, because just 800kms after that the accident took place. Also after the accident, when I called palace cross Bangalore to provide assistance on insurance, they just said the link with which I was not able to do anything. i asked them to connect to the insurance since i was not able to contact insurance through toll free, but they rudely said we cant do anything, you have to contact we can't do anything for which i have whatsapp screenshot. At the time of buying the car they told us to please take insurance from us so that we will take care of everything and it will be hassle free. now they have turned away, it's such a shame from a highly reputed brand like volkswagen ( peoples car).

    Now coming to the accident, which i strongly say is malfunctioning of the vehicle, which i have not received any update from susee motors (vellore), they are just trying to make money, by saying you will be charged 380 rs per day as long as the vehicle is staying. So does that mean they will take 3 months to analyse and I will have to bear 380rs * 90 . Is this the way of making money from a person who is already distressed because a vehicle broke down due to malfunction. please understand it's not an accident where i hit a truck or car. it's a pure malfunction where brakes and steering didn't work for which volkswagen ( peoples car) has to take the responsibility.

    everything i ask susee motors ( vellore) i don't get response about root cause but response is please stay calm, dont complain to oem.Also i would like to bring to your notice that on day when vehicle was towed to susee motors( vellore) using volkswagen rsa, the body shop manager, without even checking sarcastically told your vehicle is total loss, i was shocked and in pain, when i asked what could be cause of such malfunction, he laughingly told not malfunction, a small sharp stone has flew somewhere from air and slice small side of alloy wheel then vehicle got skidded and laughed. It was so illogical and painful. Is this what Volkswagen ( people's car) gives to its loyal customer?

    also the vehicle repair quoted by the susee motors is bomb shell . I will upload the pictures. The vehicle is only front and back damaged, but the price quoted by them is 10.25 lakhs, whereas the price of the car itself is 10 lakhs. ( attached for your reference). so my question is five seats, 4 doors, lights, irvm, mirror, camera, roof, side body, and most importantly engine . does all this come for free of cost. because if you had all of this it would come upto 20 lakhs.

    At any cost i want my vehicle to be restored at the earliest and returned to me in working condition. for no mistake of mine, i wil not accept a total loss. i would like oem to send a technician and do real analysis of malfunctioing before the dealer deletes the logs and also check what are the essential parts requiered for tthe functionin of vehicle. else i will take it legally and post in every social media, what volkswagen and its dealer does to its customer.

    Detaied investigatins need to be carried on

    !. palace cross volkswagen ( for not helping insurance thing at critical time of insurance and check whether service was done at 7500 km and not checking to customer after accident)

    2. Sussee motors ( vellore) for not being emphatic after vehicle being towed and not doing root cause of malfunction and charging in such a way so that vehicle cannot be restored by insurance.

    I trust volkswagen india ( peoples car) will live upto faith and expectations of its customer. expect someone to reply to this thread.

      Address: Volkswagen whitefield service Center

      I had given my car for service on 2nd Feb at VW whitefield branch and I supposed to get my car delivered today. When I called them to check on the delivery time and I get to hear that they have damaged my car door(Attached pics) and they are not ready to repaint the complete car body which can lead to colour variations.

      Because of their unprofessional skilled staffs and negligence driving they want to spoil my car look just by fixing the car’s one side door. There is no compensation due to their careless service and damaging the car. I want to escalate on this matter and looking forward to hear positive feedback on this issue.

      I spoke to Sashi kala who is the manager at whitefield branch, but doesn’t look like she care about the customers being a customer relationship manager. Completely disappointed.

      They yet to confirm on the solution part. It’s been a week we are using the public service for our travels during this Pandemic.. due to delay in their actions. As per our request, if any colour mismatch for this fix then they need to repaint the complete body of the car. I spoke to Sashi kaka who is CRM at whitefield VW branch. Awaiting for her response. Tried calling GM Hari Ram, but no response to our call or messages. Our family travel plan got canceled due to their negligence driving at their premises. We are looking for the compensation for this. I hope we will get your support on this.

      Volkswagen whitefield tried to close this issue by painting the damaged parts, even though we requested for a full body paint. Now again they damaged one more part(Car door pad, attached pics) three days back and delivered the car. Once again I need to report this second issue and they are not ready to replace it with a new part, instead tried to replace it with some used parts without our consent. Please escalate this issue on priority. It has been 3 weeks I am following up on this issues and losing my time and money hiring private vehicles. We spoke to Volkswagen customer care on call, even they said it will be escalated, but they don’t have incident no on this issue due to some technical problems from past three weeks. I am not clear with Volkswagen customs care systems. Completely unsatisfactory.

      Literally shocked with CRH reply. They fix the damage with the used parts and they don’t have any incidents raised to track the consumer complaints. Volkswagen doesn’t have any policy or systems to handle customer issues. Seriously?

        Hello sir/madam,

        i have personally loved this car right from the time i purchased.Now coming from the overall japanese reliability of the honda city, purchasing a volkswagen was a huge leap, but one that was eventually bound to happen.The stability and the more spirited nature of the ameo highline had me sold and i have loved the dsg gearbox ever since i purchased.Volkswagen ameo is a stylish looking sedan segment car. It has premium looking interior. Build quality of this car is very good. It has very good standard safety features in it. The good things are, good build and good performance.I embarked on a road trip with my family to baroda and that's when my woes began.

        This is the most troubling problems, and this is what made me really worried. This issue has only happened once. I was driving the car in "d" mode. When suddenly the car went out of gear! the engine continued revving, but the car stopped moving forward. Only the rev counter was shooting up to 6000rpm but it felt as though the car was in neutral. The gear indicator still showed "d2" but the car kept slowing down with no power going to the wheels. Then i switched to "s" but the car still had no power. Please note that the engine was still on, and the car was still revving. Finally i had to stop, and take it to the side, switch to "p" mode.Its a scary feeling when it happens at high speed.

        The technical team of volkswagen (may be m/s automark cars pvt ltd representator) has reported that the defect has occurred due to bad driving practice and my vehicle is not eligible for repair under warranty norms. They also provide me the estimation proforma invoice, a brand like vw and its products are expected to meet customer requirements which has clearly not happened in this case. This is an absolute disgrace to the customer. Hence i’m not sure that vw has compromised on the quality of parts fitted on vehicle in the first place. Now as a customer i feel cheated with the kind of product delivered to me.

        In view of the premature failure of the multiclutch on my ameo i request vw to consider a warranty repair for my vehicle. I also request them to look into the failure of this part in detail so that these problems won't recurred for future customers so that they can be refrained from humiliation like i have faced for the past few days. We chose volkswagen for its quality, promptness, service and reputation. However we are very disappointed with the debacle performance. We will also be taking up the matter with consumer society if required but we wish to vw support us as we are one of liable customer. Not sure whether vw india are waiting for someone to lose their life due to this issue. This again smacks of an indifference attitude to indian customers from a global group.

        The worst is yet to come. I have the Vento DSG 1.5. This issue happened 2 times in my vehicle. Cost you will have to pay is 90K for this. THe problem is not your driving style, its their worst design of gearbox. After 2 times of gearbox replacement, now my engine is the problem, they are asking me for engine replacement. Its the worst decision of my life buying a VW vehicle. I have both the invoices of Gearbox replacement. I am filing a legal case against them. This is the only option left for me.

          I have moved from UP to Karnataka, thus wants to get the re-registration done for which I have already got the NOC from Meerut, UP.
          Now for the re-registration, I need the invoice copy so that tax can be calculated by RTO office.

          My car model manufacture year is 2013.
          Its a diesel car - Polo 1.2
          Purchased in year 2014 Feb

          It is in the name of Mrs Manju Singh

          It was purchased from the SJS motors which was located in Meerut but now that outlet is closed soon after I purchased my car.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            My name is Jignesh N Khatiwala from Surat. I have been using Tiguan since August, 2018. My car’s registration number is GJ-05 RF0090.

            One thing I need to confess that till date service is extremely very poor from the dealership where I am sending my car and can explain why - but that is not my concern here today.

            So I have complained to the local dealership some 4 months back and here is my nature of complain:

            The concern/complain was, individual driver’s seat memory is not working.

            That means, if Driver 1 has particular memory and it should come when driver 1 selects his profile while entering/starting the car, likewise driver 2 and driver 3.

            This function wasn’t working so I thought there will be some update in the software and will have to send the car to the dealership for the same.

            I called them 7-8 times (before diwali) and the concern person told me, please send after diwali as they are facing staff issue!
            Even after diwali we called 4-5 times but everything they give some or other excuse.

            Finally I sent my car 10 days back as my next service was also due.

            Now the main point, the memory function recall wasn’t happening but if driver 1 is in the car and he memorises his seat position, the seat will remain at the same position even if driver 2 selects his profile.
            So overall memory function was working but memory recall wasn’t working.

            So car went for general service and for the above complain, they took 3-4 days to give my car back and that too memory function module in dead condition.
            So now I am unable to memorise the the seat function individually!

            I told the service guy I will not accept this. He said please bring your car I will try to discuss this with management.

            Now the error story not end here..I had this car air purifier from Sharp in the car. While doing this so called service they have even damaged Rs. 15000 car air purifier unit.
            I complained this to service guy and he said I will get back to you but till date no reply.

            I sent my car gain today with the same complain that they should check and start all the functions it was operating before.

            But just now, a half an hour back service guy told me we cannot do anything in this and you will have to change this seat adjustment module and the cost is around 27000 inclusive of labour!!

            No this is too much - I have been asking for assistance since last 4 months. I sent car with the faith that they will rectify and solve it but instead they sent me dead module. They also damaged my car air purifier which is 15K.

            I clearly told them I will not accept this and I want car air purifier replacement and this module, otherwise I will not accept this car - you just keep it.

            Now the car is at the dealership only and I will not accept this unless they will settle this.

            I will send this matter to consumer forum next week if I am not getting solution of it.

            Please let me know, if you need any further information.

              MY CAR VW AMEO PB06AW5776 purchased in November 2019 with 5 years Warranty. But on 15 DECEMBER 2021 When i going from beas to BATALA the engine got vibration and i have call to customer care for 24/7 road assistance and after two hours the team reached and toe our car to Service center.
              On 8th january 2021, When i visited to the Showroom then VW team said your injectors not working properly and all injectors changed, So pay 284000 but when i said i already pay for 5 years warranty then why pay second time, then they donot reply.Service guys saying that is a fuel problem.I am filling from the same station after i purchased the Car.
              Being a customer of VW is currently turning out to be the most trouble some matter, Looks like once you have buy the vehicle you are at the mercy of this secretive organisation.
              Finally in my opinion the VW car are great and well made but their Service can be termed brillantly drown the customer in misery Service.

                    I purchased my VW Polo from Frontier Automobiles, Gurgaon in 2016. I used to get calls from the agency for service and the 1sr service went of well in 2017. In 2018 I get a call from Triumph Auto Pvt. Ltd, also a VW dealer from Gurgaon itself. I dont remember the name of the agency so I am assuming the call is from Frontier. They take my car for servicing and suggest I take an AMC for the same. I was almost forced to pay Rs. 23, 000/- and take the AMC. In 2019, I get a call from Frontier - Not from Triumph - for service. They take my car and tell me that they have a good scheme of AMC. Since it has already been 1 year, I completely forgot that I already had and AMC and if I already have an AMC, the company would obviously not ask me to take another AMC. All this while I am unaware that these are two agencies and that both of them are trying to Fleece me. Unfortunately, I purchased this AMC also at a cost of 25, 300/-. So I have paid both these companies a total of about Rs. 50, 000/- just for 2 - 3 services. In fact in 2021, I was charged additional Rs.16000/- for service. I only recently discovered the UNUSED AMC booklet sold to me by Triumph. I tried to explain the situation to them but they said that the AMC was valid only for 2 years!! This is totally unacceptable that a customer is fleeced by Volkswagen because of my blind faith in VW. I never thought that this would happen to me. I want Triumph to consider the AMC money that I have paid and honor the AMC, even though it is over 2 years. It was the responsibility of tiumph to also advise me that I have AMC and that they would give me service. They never did that. This is really sad and unacceptable.

                      I purchased volkswagen ameo 1.5 litre diesel amt highline plus in 2019.I travel to gujarat from tamilnadu every 4 months for my business purpose, when I am returning from gujarat the car suddenly stopped in the highway near chitradurga(karnataka).
                      I called up to the volkswagen assistance they arranged me the vehicle for taking the car and arranged the cab for me to reach home(coimbatore).They took car to banglore service centre). After two days I got a call from service centre, they told me that the cars 2nd injector is gone you have to replace it and for that you should pay 34200(including service charge).I have the warranty for 4 years but they haven't claimed the warranty .I requested continously for over 20 days and there was no response.I mailed 4 times to volkswagen but no reply..Finally the banglore showroom members told me pay first and you can claim in coimbatore showroom with this bill.when I took my car from banglore to coimbatore showroom, here they twisted me that if you paid once you cant claim.I am requesting you that I am helpless after I purchased the car, requesting you to claim warrenty for the parts expenses..I am trusting you at last.

                          I m sridevi bearing vw polo 2013 mpi RgNo: ap 29 bu2044. This incidents was taken place with volkswagen service centre suchitra.
                          1. I gave the vehicle for full body paint of 7th december at above service centre Mr.Narendra body shop manager spoked with me and gave 60K quotation. I said ok and to start the work.
                          2.On 15/12/2021 i took vehicle delivery and i noticed issues with paint and door protector not fixed properly and body paint is too hard they gave without rubbing the paint to smooth and interior, engine component was also not cleaned properly windows outer liners of 4 windows was in zig zag condition and i raised the complaint again and spoke with pavan, and poornima they requested to send the vehicle again on 17/12/2021 friday at 3:00Pm volkswagen person took vehicle holding petrol still 170Kms in tank from my home to rectify the complaints.
                          3. Again on 20.12.2021 i took vehicle delivery afternoon 1.00Pm by having a blind faith on service centre and on trust of mr pavan i took vehicle without seeing whether they cleared the paint hardness issues but at time of taking delivery i had observed door protector was not fixed properly as last complained and they are ready to detach from vehicle again their is scratch on fog light left side which is not at time of taking vehicle from me and fuel on vehicle also got major difference i noticed vehicle is holding only 70Kms petrol remaining. By seeing the same i questioned about petrol deficit they replied they kept vehicle ignition on for half an hour they petrol got decreased WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? HOW SHOULD I UNDERSTAND THEIR ANSWER?
                          4. At that time also mr narendra was not in proper reply to answer about the door protector issue and petrol stolen issue and about fog lamp he blamed me that it was having at you only we won't replace that but later having a great argument with him he agreed to replace if any vehicle come to them their part will get transferred to me.
                          5. Later on having positive thinking and trust on them i took vehicle 20.12.2021 and returned to home and on very next day while cleaning vehicle i again noticed there is scratches under back bumper near mud flop was not cleared properly and they just painted on the scratches which is clearly visible on paint( I have those videos which i recorded the same about their excellent skill on paint job). And petrol cap lock was not working and front bumper and rightside back window glass is having still hardness and contacted poornima about this issues again on 21.12.2021 they replied same to send vehicle back to service centre.
                          6. Please apply your observation here vehicle went for 2 to 3 times after body paint work done means it shows clear negligence to wards customers and they have no skill to close complaints properly. Again on 25.12.2021 saturday morning 10.00Am i visited to service centre and Mr. Narendra got at 11.Am to office and later he started to agrue with me very rashly and neglegently they have the patience and i am testing their patience the vehicle have no issues but iam creating those issues and bring vehicle to them and old repairs also getting to repair with them. And they are not responsible for any complaints and they won't rectify any thing this time.
                          7.I said poornima said to bring the vehicle the complaint i was made is visible if you apply your mind properly and if you are not intended to rectify complaint why you gave a cal to get back vehicle again. I then gave a call to poornima who requested to visit again then he agreed and opened job sheet to rectify scratch visible under back bumper and he refused to recifity petrol lock and saying that complaint is at you only and you throwing on us to get if replaced freely. I asked him to show a video they have which is working at them while giving vehicle delivery to me or taking for paint job but he kept silent. One old man called by narendra near vehicle and he stated to speak with high voice that they are too busy don't play with them if i want to rectify the same replace new bumper and new glass which having hardness due to their spray negligent. I showed him scratch under back bumper and asked him is this way to paint ? then he kept silent and painted again that scratch with some paint jammed someplace again. So i decided to not to send vehicle even if any complaint due to their unskilled work pending also because of mr narendra words on that day about patience. I left showroom on evening 4.00Pm with unsolved reply about Petrol stolen, petrol lock spoiled, Fog lamp scratch.

                          9.So decided to raise complaint to volkswagen first and later to file a complaint on consumer court for their breach of service without clean hands and blaming customer in back and damages for fuel expenses and travel expenses for ola cabs spent because of them for visiting vehicle for 3to 4 times randomly so i request to get the same get cleared and take appropriate action on transactions taken place with them.

                            I am a mumbai resident. We purchased a Vento diesel in 2011. Recently when I went to get my PUC ...the concerned person refused stating although it is a diesel car Petrol is mentioned on RC book.
                            We have been stopped by traffic police on a couple of occasions for PUC validity. On visiting the Andheri west RTO we were asked for a Form 21 which is a sales invoice which we don't have. The dealer from whom we had purchased the car Tornado motors at Santacruz west have permanently closed down. I also visited another VW showroom but was of no help. Called their customer care too. How do we get a duplicate sales invoice

                                All VW service Center’s in Bangalore are not doing maintenance activity for vento DSG gear oil change and mechatronics oil change even after my car has completed 95000kms they are giving reason its lifetime no oil changes, any mechanical part needs time to time maintenance or it may fail to work

                                  COMPLAINT AND LEGAL NOTICE AGAINST V.W DEALER BADHWAR MOTORS, ROHTAK,
                                  HARYANA . COMPLAINT ALSO against VW customer care as they are not even bothered to reply back or contact me even after multiple emails and requests for help--

                                  I own a VW PO own a VW POLO HIGH LINE HR12U 9899 . If you check your old records you
                                  will find my repeated n numerous ( atleast 50 ) complaints against this dealer in last 7-8
                                  years but shocking enough, there is not even slighest change in this dealers attituude and
                                  mal-practices .Recently I gave my car for service and other problems few days back
                                  which they delivered back after 4 days --

                                  (1) As mentioned in earlier complaints There is persistent problem in
                                  starting car since 5-6 years which this dealer havnt resolved till date .
                                  His usual n typical responses are --
                                  (a) battery is faulty
                                  (b) altenator is faulty
                                  (c) self of car is faulty
                                  (d) no issue in car
                                  Citing these they replaced these parts repeatidly charging me money and
                                  still problem is standing still n no solution .

                                  (2) This time too there advisor called n said battery is faulty n needs to
                                  be replaced . I replied ok replace it as this battery was changed once more
                                  earlier in the warranty period n this time too they are supposed to replace
                                  as 2 years of warranty still not over . Hearing this he said let me check
                                  again n within 5 minutes and said battery is not faulty, its fine n only
                                  require some charging !!! STRANGE, ISNT IT ????? Faulty battery became
                                  fine in just 5 minutes after hearing about free replacement .

                                  (3) Issue of AC FLAP MOTOR still persist since i purchased this car .
                                  Replaced 3 times still no solution

                                  (4) When i sent car for service head lamps were fine but on return There is
                                  water logging in front left head lamp which can do further damage

                                  (5) Inside of the car is full of dust n dirt n it seems even simple washing
                                  was not done .

                                  Although from last 7-8 years experiences i honestly have absolutely ZERO hope that VW will be of any help but still i being a VW product owner, feel a
                                  responsability to bring into your notice that how some dealers are ruining
                                  n spoiling reputation of your company and products in india . Rest assured, this time i will make sure to sue this particular dealer in the court of
                                  law and make him realize how costly n damaging it could be to mentally and
                                  financially haras a genuine customer for 7-8 long years .
                                  I have also attached the VIDEO OF MY CAR"s CONDITION JUST FEW HOURS LATEST PAID SERVICE BY THIS ABOVE MENTIONED DEALER.Regards

                                  20 days have passed but as expected from this cheat company / dealer no-one has contacted me yet !!! Highly frustating and unfortunate . They take us indians for granted . Had this complaint against VOLKSWAGEN be done in U.S.A or EUROPIAN COUNTRY, VW people would have immedietly acted and positively resolved the complaint within minutes !!! " VW, YOUR PATHETIC AND WORST DEALERS LIKE BADHWAR MOTOR CORPS, ROHTAK HARYANA WILL DESTROY YOUR BUSINESS SOON IN THIS COUNTRY, IN LAST 8 YEARS SINCE I PURCHASED YOUR CAR, I HAVE SAVED ATLEAST 200 PEOPLE IN MY FRIEND CIRCLE AND RELATIVES FROM FALLING IN TRAP OF YOUR PATHETIC DEALERS AND PRODUCTS AND STOPED THEM FROM BUYING VW CARS, I SHALL KEEP SPREADING AWARENESS IN MY CIRCLE AND SOCIAL MEDIA TO STOP THEM FROM BUYING VW PRODUCTS, TRUST ME, IN THIS AGE OF SOCIAL MEDIA ITS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT FOR COMPANIES TO SURVIVE IF THEY CHEAT INNOCENT PEOPLE AND THEIR DEALERS ROB MONEY FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS VIA UNETHICAL PRACTICES " VERY SOON VW"s TIME SHALL BE OVER IN INDIA LIKE IT HAPPENED IN U.S.A FEW YEARS BACK WHEN THEY CAUGHT VW OF CHEATING AND FRAUD AND YOU WERE ON THE VERGE OF BANKRUPCY !!

                                    I have purchased volkawagen car (Brand Car) and using last 8 years but you have fraud and cheating with me and why are you maligning the name of the Volkawagen company. You have used my car 90 km without my permission and used my car full petrol second my car is running only approx 25000 km and you said your ECM was damaged and not working and you have changed my Volkawagen Polo ECM and charged 28000/-

                                    I have a VW AMEO 2016 Petrol, I had a my AC malfunctioning on 29th December when I gave the car for service in the KUN VW service centre, Chennai.

                                    The service person told me it will take 2-3 days to fix the issue, later I gave them a call back on 2nd of December, I was given the same reply, it will take 2-3 days more to fix the issue. I still waited and gave them a call back after 4 days, 7th December, not a surprise, I was given the same response 2-3 days of waiting period.

                                    Left with frustration I visited the service center in person on 14th December, where I was told my car was taken to a different service center and they are not sure when I will be given the car serviced.

                                    I am trying to reach the service persons from today morning but unfortunately I am not able to connect to anyone so far.

                                    I tried reaching your toll free number, [protected], but provider says number is not in service(such a shame).

                                    Looking forward to hear from you.

                                    For your information, a complaint has already been national indian consumer grievance cell since this is the third time I am facing such an unpleasant response from you.

                                      Volkswagen in Bhubaneswar is unable to provide me the parts required and also not able to provide me the service required.

                                      They forced me to extend my warranty to avail some facilities. But its been a year now that I am following up with them to provide me a part for ABS sensor and give me the service on time but they are irresponsible and unresponsive at the same time.

                                      After sending back to back emails also I didn't receive any email from them ..rather I got few calls and they said me I can give my car on 6th but today on 13th when asked I got to know the parts are not available.

                                      I strongly feel they are exploiting as my warranty is going to end soon.
