I have already complainted and they have contacted but there was no followup. I have explained everything in detail to the lady who called from volkswagen. But they did'nt take this matter seriously. So i request you to do the needfull. If no further actions from your side we will be forced to file a case against volkswagen kannur and report to media.

2 months amd 2 days till now am strugling with this car (vento) purshced from volkwagen kannur.the only i did is trusting you.so i want the solution as soon as possible or else i will be forced to report this to media.i hoping best from you

    I have purchased my car on 31.07.2018 and had my 1st service in 6666 km. Even before that only after 5549 kilometres it was incapable of geting acceleration and suddenly dissilerated, which was quit danger to happen in a public highway having heavy traffic probably to be get injured severe.

    Even after continues repair and service things was same. I got the assurance from the service centre that they have completely replaced all the possible defect parts,

    When the same thing repeated second time when the vehicle was about 6989 kilometres, it was again directed to repairs and at this time i have informed the issue legally through my Advocate to Dealer (PHOENIX CARS INDIA PVT. LTD. Calicut, Kerala.), and main heads of vw company but havnt got any satisfactory result.

    Pitty to say that after 2 months i am compelled to get back the car offering me an extra 2 year warranty.

    After this even before completing 500 kilometres i have faced the problem which proved no benefit of getting extra warranty periods when life itself is in danger with this vehicle. I have lossed my confidence of safe journey with this vehicle.

    Even after continuously informing and issueing notices to the respective authority of this car i am delayed with the justice due to continues negligence and non serious approch.

    I want to get replaced it and serve me with adequate amount of compensation.

      Respected sir/madam,

      I would like to introduce myself. I’m abdul kayyoom, from thalassery, kerala a vw enthusiast. My family recently bought a volkswagen vento from your dealership store phoenix cars, kannur on 30th november 2018. I would like to inform that it was after a couple of month’s research, i made the decision to go with a vento though it was the most expensive option among other cars in my list. Evenly, the features vento offered as well as the reputation of vw brand leveraged my decision to purchase the vento.

      With immense joy we welcomed the new vw vento to our family on the 30th november 2018, unfortunately, the vehicle has been apparent with some serious faults since day 1. On the day of purchase itself, there were issues with fog lamp (Which failed to work at the dealer showroom) and we noticed fungus on door beading. While it took almost an hour for the dealer’s team to fix the fog lamp, the fungus on the beading was unattended. Due to the trust we had on the brand, we collected the car on that day.

      Things got worse the next day as the gear shifting found to be not smooth which was very unlikely for a new car.in addition, the car stopped a couple of times during driving, causelessly. Also noticed some weird sounds coming from one side of the hood. I decided to take the car back to dealer showroom to address the issues.

      Due to some emergencies, i couldn’t take the car to the dealer during the next two days but the car was taken to the showroom on 4thdecember. The car was kept at the showroom for a day and i was informed that they couldn’t find anything wrong. When i showed them the faults i have listed above, the dealer service person only acknowledged to identify the fungus on the door beading and it was changed on the 6th. The other faults were not fixed and we were shocked to hear from the dealer that the faults we pointed to them are very typical for any car. They completely missed the fact that this is not any car but a vw vento that too bought 2 weeks ago.

      On the 12th december, it blew my mind when i spotted rust on brake discs and from this, it was evident that the car has been sitting in the yard for a long time. Again, when informed to the dealer about this, we were provided with the same answer that “it’s not a major fault”. As days passed by, the complaints remained unchanged and i had no option but to take the car back to the dealer. On the 22nd december, the car was taken to the dealer for the third time within roughly three weeks from the purchase. This time, the dealer accepted that they figured some faults with the gear system and was informed that they need to raise this complaint to the vw team. It was understood that the dealer raised a complaint to the vw team and we were asked to bring the car back some other day as they are waiting for some response back from the vw team. I was expecting the vw team would find these faults as very unlikely for a new vw car and would instruct the dealer to replace the car immediately. Unfortunately, i never heard back from the dealer. I made several follow up calls between 22nd and 26th december to see the progress on my complaints however was unable to get a proper response back from the dealer. After several follow-ups finally on 26ththe car was picked up from my home by dealer’s agent. After keeping the car for 2 days, i was informed on 28th that all faults have been fixed and asked to visit the dealer on 28th to collect the car and to have a word with the vw customer service team. By the time we reached the dealer on 28th, they had left for the day, and we were told that all faults have been fixed. On 29th we went back to the showroom again only to find that they were just lying to us and even the rusty brake disc was not replaced. We were told of some different story this time and was informed that it would take another week to 10 days to get the new brake discs. We were really frustrated with the dealer’s response and took the car from the dealer as it seemed keeping the car with the dealer for 7 to 10 days is not a good idea.

      Sadly, we found that the gear issue was not fixed at all and it’s still the same as before. Further research proved that the car was manufactured in january 2018 and has been sitting the dealer’s yard for almost a year. Luckily, dealer accepted that fact that the car has been sitting in the yard for a while. I believe the car being in the yard almost a year has caused all these troubles and currently, this car is not of a satisfactory quality. A thorough look into the hood also revealed the engine cabin has been dirty and has got a lot of mud deposits in it. With this, i’ve decided it is enough and i cannot take this car again and have left the car at the dealer’s place on january 1, 2019.

      I have already given ample opportunities to the dealer to correct the faults with the car, but with no satisfactory conclusion, i’m rejecting the car and as a last resort. I’m requesting vw to replace the car with a new one. I expect vw understand the hardships i have gone through during the last one month and look forward to favourable feedback at the earliest.

      In addition to all, the attitude of phoenix sales manager mr. Biju was another nail in the coffin. Not only he failed to resolve our concerns, but he also challenged us to move in whatever direction we can to solve the issues. I even felt like he was so stubborn that our complaints will not be resolved at any time. I request you to seriously take this into consideration as he is not just the face of a car dealer but the face of vw – the car company.

      I’m attaching photographs of invoice and profs of my findings for your reference.

      Anticipating with great hope that my concern will be addressed and resolved shortly.

        I own a Volkswagen Vento for the past 3 years. Suddenly it developed an issue with the "coolant" boiling over and evaporating. When I first took it to the service center they said everything is fine and it if repeats I should bring it back, car was fine for a couple of months and then it happened again, I noticed that this problem happens after a long drive i.e. when I drive long distance 300 kms, it is absolutely fine during city driving. This time around the service center said they had to replace the "thermostat", as the 2015 model had a faulty design. The newer "thermostat" is an enhanced version and fixes this problem. The issue is that for replacing this "thermostat", they have to replace:
        1) Shield Plate
        2) Housing
        3) PIPE (2)
        4) HOSE
        5) Water Pump
        6) Harness

        The total cost of repair is Rs 32, 000/- . My question is if it is a design problem where the thermostat is specked wrong, why should I pay for this repair?. I have been trying to reach Volkswagen for a response and it has taken me more than 1 1/2 weeks and umpteen number of calls to customer care but am yet to talk to a someone of any authority in volkswagen. It is like they just don't care. Their customer service call center is pathetic in their response and their cars have a shelf life of 3 years. Is their anyone in volkswagen who care about their brand ? Is their any adult in the house or is it run by robots who really care 2 hoots about the Indian consumer by selling them sub-standard cars (left over designs of European models) ?

        I wish someone from VW takes this seriously and respond to me as to why should the customer pay for a faulty design of their car ? Everyone in the call-center and the service center knows me and my car so they cannot even escape saying they can't trace me.

        Currently my car is at the Bangalore Motors, Rajajinagar, Bangalore, service center and I really wish that VW pays for the repair and deliver my car to me.

          Self iyyappane balasundaram owning volkswagen polo with registration number py-01 cj 2605, my car met with a minor accident hence i discharged my car to abra motors chennai (Body shop) to do the necessary repairs.

          The damage was on left side of rear window and subparts, they charged me 65000/- inr which i paid in full and took delivery of my car. Now when i noticed the car there was a small dent in the roof (Corner) just above the area where the repair work was carried out.

          First of all this was not notified to me while intaking the car for body shop also it was not provided in the qoutes, the customer service agent mr rafik told me he got the information from the body shop that there was a dent which he did not informed me until i approached the service centre for the issue

          I request you to take this up the concerned people and do the needful.

          Being a reputed company these poor service from the repair shop will defame your organization.

            My vw ameo got company fitted audio system. During warranty period i noticed audio volume button:volume fluctuates when you try to increase and with steering wheel controls volume increases properly.in first visit to dealer, they kept vehicle for whole day and said there m sut be problem with paired phone and not compatible. I got iphone 6s and other users in home samsung and mi phones. Checked with phone disconnected and only ran on radio but still problem exist.
            2nd visit: dealer checked wiring and said all found ok.
            3rd visit: shown issue again to customer relationship manager and service maanger. They said will talk to harman and request for change in audio
            4rd visit: dealer asked harman team to visit and check. Harman team reflashed the software and said now it will run fine. Still issue exist
            5th visit: harman chaged audio and now reverse camera not working.

            I am not understanding, how this dealer works. They are totally dependent and following ther supplier harman words, why they not replaced audio prior and provide audio to harman for invstigation.
            Now running vehicle without reverse camera function.

              My wrongly registered car issue is not still solved.in first place its not my fault, secondly they are acting like goons, forcing me to keep quit not even replying my mails.
              Biggest mistake of my life is, i have invested in a company where they only care till you pay them full amount once they receive, no one is interested in your matter.

              They like goons are forcing me to accept their mistake, even after its not my fault i'm suffering for last 15 days.
              Polo was like a dream car, but this dealership is making me run like i have committed crime by buying that car

              Actually if you really care for your customer's than please solve my matter asap, i would suggest you to close this matter or my last option is consumer cort, i have hard feelings that at-list ill get justice over there but before that i would really love if you can do something for me.

                    Dear sir/ madam, i gave my car ameo bv 1986 in volkwagen dehradun for changing front bumper which was damage. It was 17 dec 2018. But today is 8th jan 2019, still i did not get my car from company, because again and again they are giving me excuse that bumpur is out of stock. Then how the company delivering new car? Are they delivering new car without bumper? Its almost 1 month to go. Its very hopeless and dissatisfactory work. I thought volkwagen is very big and reputed company and service will b very fast but i am not satisfied. I am a businessman and car is very important for me. Since 1 month i am hiring cab daily which is very costly. Due to your poor service i am loosing money. I think this company is cheating to the customer. Can you please resolve my problum as soon as possible

                      My vehicle bearing registration no. Tn 10 aq 4158 was serviced by abra motors, ambattur, chennai on[protected]. (Invoice no. Sip188810 dated[protected] feedback provided does not yielding result. Complaints are:

                      1. Noise from right back wheel while breaking
                      2. A/c effect were spoiled
                      3. Wind shield damage. Attaching a photograph
                      4. Wind shield liquid too were not filled in while delivering the vehicle
                      5. Rattling noise from rear side of the car.

                      How to get this resolved. Request to get back. Today, i have forwarded the above client once again to the works manager of abra motors.

                      Need your intervention in resolving the above issues.

                        Problems and issue facing with your staff

                        Today, i would like to share the disastrous experience that i have been facing since 10 -12 days i. E. W. E. F. 29th dec 20018.

                        The issue is pretty much straightforward. To my utmost surprise i have gone through the service center i. E. Frontier auto world pvt. Ltd. New delhi. I have been personally facing this issue related to service complaint regarding the volkswagen ameo diesel engine that i have purchased 31/03/2017. I have brought this issue to the notice of the service center executive (Sh. Harish) & the manager level (Sh. Ajay) at frontier auto world new delhi but no one seems to be bothered about the issue that i have been facing with. Even they are not giving any heed with my questions.

                        Service center replied:-

                        After receiving the car on 29/12/2018 they replied, we will solve it with in 3 days, on my next visit again they replied will solve it by 02/01/2019. Again on next visit they replied will solve the problem by 05/01/2019

                        On 05/01/2019 their behave was very rudely and replied in very disastrous manners

                        This is the not only a single service center,

                        Why not you are going to the other one.

                        You can go any where you can, and complaint against us.

                        Today, i wanted to question them @volkswagen, why are you guys ill-treating the customers? I had so much trust while buying the car and you guys broke all my trust within this time period. This is absolutely not right on your front. You can’t treat your valuable customers like this. Volkswagen, please stop doing all this nonsense

                        Problems and issue facing with my car:-

                        . Finally, due to the lack of proper response and service from hardcore culprits, i will file a consumer case against volkswagen and the service center.

                        1. Horn problem

                        2. Windscreen and door problem

                        3. Front light was automatically turn on and off

                        4. Music is system not working

                        It likes to be a very small issue for any of the person and also for the service center. But it is going to be a burden on me and and also on the service center. It may be like that they are not seeing any interest to resolve the problem so they are not giving any heed to our problems.

                        Sir,

                        In my professional i am a responsible person of the entire block and elected as a chairman of the area by the govt of haryana. If your executives are not responding even to my vehicle service problems and other issue than, can you image the problems facing by the other peoples who are not writing and make complaints to you.

                        Finally, due to the lack of proper response and service from hardcore culprits, i will file a consumer case against volkswagen and the service center, if i not received my car by 07/01/2019.

                        Besides this, for your kind attentation i will also filled for 10 days taxi charges during this harassment period along with the compensation charges.

                        A copy of the registration certificate and receipt of car received at service center is attached herewith

                          Regarding above vehicle no i was coming back from hardly on 3 january. Suddenly due darkness i was crash a big dick and my both right side tyre burst. My family members with me.. Then i call road side assistance then he assure you are covered and we contacting you after some time. Then he call for google location. After that they said after toe we will provide you taxi services then i request i am with my family and here is no one then said you send me photograph of your both burst tyre. Then i fell helpless realize he does not want to provide services. But it is not fair...

                            This is happening while i write, the car is just out of service shop at goregaon mumbai ram
                            Mandal road, the engine is getting heated dangerously at the rate of 5 degrees celsius every 2 minutes. The car was sent for servicing for routine service due and surprisingly the car engine started showing the symptoms of getting overheated, it seems the mechanic had sprayed the water on the vw engine which is not suggested. As a customer this is a pathetic experience and i have asked the showroom manager to give me the complete root cause analysis for why the rules of tech specs broken and why are service showroom
                            People dealing with causal approach towards people’s prized possession, i am now standing in middle of road with my vehicle taken away by showroom to check what’s gone wrong

                            I agree with your points. I am also having same problems with overheating of the engine. Usually it goes to 95 Degree and sometimes 100 Degree. I contacted service center in Noida but they took it very casually and still there is no resolution yet.

                              My name is prashanti salgaonker situated at mapusa goa.
                              I decided on 15th december 2018 to buy polo comfort line from mody autocorp pvt ltd volkswagen goa.
                              So gave full payment of car on 22nd december & i wanted car on 1st jan 2019, i was informed by sales consultant cliford that they will deliver my car on 1st jan and registration will be done online in mapusa rto on 2nd jan 2019.
                              So on 2nd jan i called sales consultant cliford to get the registration number which was supposed to be done in mapusa rto, but on call i was informed that, by mistake they registered my car in bicholim rto. Than i visited panjim showroom, they committed me on email that, they have done this mistake and will resolve my issue.
                              And with verbal communication with gm rudra, it was said that our ceo is coming on 3rd jan so he will find out if they can change the registration number if not done than they would replace my car as they had done mistake after producing all required documents.

                              Finally on 3rd they called me in showroom, apologized me and accepted that they have wrongly updated my details, but in this case we wont be able to help you and this was not the solution expected by me so...

                              I was so mentally disturbed with their error that i left my car there itself.
                              I feel like it was a very wrong decision to invest in a german brand after having this experience in volkswagen goa.

                              Dear sir all i want to know is these your esteemed management???, was that my mistake that i thought to buy volkswagen car?
                              Was that my mistake that after giving all required documents volkswagen staff has failed in their process. So do i have to suffer?
                              Instead of resolving the issue gm rudra is forcing me to use that car with that same registered number

                              Hoping that u ll do the need full and ill get justice from volkswagen india

                              for your kind information, they have not resolved anything. they have sent me offer of "Referring to your mail, we have already discussed the matter with our principal and we can offer you with the 2 years of 'Free Periodic Maintenance' (which will include:- Routine Service, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Engine Oil, Fuel Filter, Washing, Alignment & Balancing) towards your car." but i have clearly informed them that i want cash discount as i'm not keeping that wrongly registered car. In first place its not my fault, secondly they are acting like goons, forcing me to keep quit not even replying my mails.
                              biggest mistake of my life is, i have invested in a company where they only care till you pay them full Amount once they receive, no one is interested in your matter.

                              They like Goons are forcing me to accept their mistake, even after its not my fault i'm suffering for last 15 days.
                              POLO was like a dream car, but this dealership is making me run like i have committed crime by buying that Car

                              Actually if you really care for your customer's than please solve my matter ASAP, i would suggest you to close this matter or my last option is Consumer Cort, i have hard feelings that at-list ill get justice over there but before that i would really love if you can do something for me.

                                I had visited vw nerul navi mumbai workshop for regular service and repair of indicators.
                                At time of handing over the vehicle steering wheel was working properly without any noise. Sales engineer advised that combination switch is not working and need to be changed. It costs about rs.10000. After repair and servicing the moment i drove out from the workshop i observed that some irritating noise is coming from steering wheel whenever it moves clockwise or anticlockwise.
                                When i raise complain with sales engineer he said that it is because of some issue in suspension breakage. It appears that he was aware of the issue but did not reveal otherwise how come he knows about the suspension damage without physically seeing or verifying the vehicle. Service quality as well as response is very poor.

                                    I have given my car to service centre to repair the front side damage repair. After the delivery of vehicle on the way to home, fragments of glass hits to my face while driving and about to met with an accident. I called the service associate and the service manager to solve my issue as soon as possible as it is dangerous to drive in such condition. They are promising me to do the job from 2 weeks.

                                    I asked the service manager to resolve my issue but he made false promises for a week. That leads me to take action with consumer complaint against the service centre. Waiting for their reply about 2 weeks they responded only after I mentioned about legal proceedings for their mistake done in my car. After that The service manager is unable to cope with the situation But the service assocassociate called me and solved my complain with continues updation of procedure being performed on my car. The 7405403916 Finally I got my car cleaned and delivered properly like never before in time. Only strong action made the stubbern service centre work.

                                      Left my car at pune service center today and at the time of delivery i was told my battery is worn out completely.
                                      It's 1.5 yrs old and not given a trouble single time even after 2 weeks long gap being stationed at one place.
                                      To pursue their request and provide permission i was even pressurised and told that car is not starting and they have to jump start the car. If i take delivery as it is then there r good chances that car may not start tomorrow.
                                      I have refused to take delivery of the car. Asked them to charge the battery completely and five me written report on my battery status.
                                      Now i am even doubting whether my car really has my original battery

                                        I had done booking for amey car with 50, 000 on 15th of dec. Due to epitome of ambiguity and lack of communication i had canceled the booking.
