My vento tdi 1.6 dl-3c-bw-2493 had been facing issue of coolant loss since july 18. Vw service station at pathankot changed the water bottle without doing due diligence and the problem was not solved.
Vw service station at guwahati has now been able to pinpoint the issue to egr failure.
Egr failure under 65000 kms and vehicle age of less than 5years is attributable to two reasons
Sub standard component
Premature failure caused due to software upgrade
Further flow rectifier required to be installed by the dealers has not been installed at the time of software upgrade.
No feedback had been received from vw india inspire of the complaint being lodged with customer care since 29 oct neither has any reply been received by me too date for the emails sent to the company i'd.
The egr failures are occurring world wide post software upgrade and need to be replaced by vw india without any charges as vw is doing worldwide.

EGR failure is a consistent issue happening all over the world with VW cars post the software update to 'fix' the problems highlighted in their Dieselgate scandal.

    Is been since my vento has been done 15000km i hd lodge a complain regarding noice in engine area, complain was lodge near april 2017 since then i hd been visited number of times to service center which is located at 55km from my area, they hd been fooling me since long and hd not even registered my complain in job card, only when i was aggressively took a charge then only they registered, they had a single answer to me that it is a company defect any ur part will be replaced as soon the part will reach them now at november 2018 last when i reached them they said company has rejected ur complain as u hv been too late to instal that part,!!! Now in a serious mood to suit a case against dealership.

      My vento car was towed after an oil leak was detected on 9th oct morning and taken to pps motors at thanisandra. The initial diagnosis was a coolant pump leak repair that was estimated at rs 550 /-. A day later i got an estimate for rs 1, 66, 000/ saying that the ats had got damaged and had to be replaced and the ats oil to wash the engine would cost rs 66, 000/-!! I volunteered to get the oil from elsewhere but that really didn't seem to help because the note very clearly said that this was the estimate for the first diagnosis!! Obviously there seems to be a scheme to rip off customers like me who are blissfully unaware of technical details. I got my car serviced elsewhere for rs 25000 and tested it for over 100km and it is perfectly fine. Last year while driving the car from the hessarghatta service center for over a month for bodyshop work, the alarm went off due to overheating and had to be towed back. Volkswagen's reputation is in serious jeopardy right now. And it looks like they are trying to make up for various fines levied at the company through ripping us off

        Hi volkswagen team,

        This is regarding the issue at tirupati volkswagen service centre located at renigunta bypass road, tirupathi chittoor dt. Andhrapradesh, india.
        Regarding my car right side back tyer (Vw vento – highline 1.6 mt) replacement to be done in warranty with service centre due to bubble visible on the tyre with manufacturing default the tyre pertaining to good year company 185 -15 inch tyre. I have purchased the car on dt 28.08.2018 (3 months from date of purchase).

        I have dropped my car rear tyre with service advisor: mr. Seenu at service centre on 26 th nov-18 after due verification by him and he informed that it will be replaced for sure since no puntcher or damage done to the tyre except only bubble with manufacturing defect hence i dropped the same at service center for surveyor verification and by his assurance i immediately purchased new tyre of same company at the service center which costs rs.4500 above change even though warranty available for tyre.

        When i dropped my car, mr. Seenu informed that the right side back rear tyre has been found good but no punctur or no damage except bobble appears on the tyre when air infused into the tyre after doing verification at service center and it was due to manufacturing fault and it will be replaced 100% in warranty claim as informed bt mr. Seenu.
        Where i asked him to convey the same to the surveyor by showing the tyre with bubble and get it replaced with new tyre as per warranty. And by the assurance of advisor i dropped my original tyre at service centre and purchased the new one.

        But no surveyor visited/ contacted/ enquired or telephoned me regarding tyre verification, or proof of supervising the tyre before me or at centre but all of a sudden on dt.03. Dec.2018 mr. Seenu advisor/consultant for good year tyre agent whatsapped me that as "tyre was runflat not covered under warranty boss" and sent one invoice signed by surveyor, and my question is with in short span how runflat may occur and proofs are with me this is the way customers are treating here. This clearly shows that due to the negligence of the team/management/ advisor/ consultant i recieved this type of reply from your team member.
        As an esteemed company i'm very much dissappointed by the reply n response given by your team at tirupathi service center and if the same would have been informed before i wouldn't dropped my old tyre with you by i missing the chances that the tyre would have been replaced with warranty becoz of your advisor fault at service center by wrong guidance this is really unfair

        The above scenarios was really a worst experience for me which was not expected being a volkswagen customer and i would need someone to address it immediately and get good year new tyre replacement for the same from the service center where i dropped the previous one with manufacturing defect and belief on advisor mr. Seenu.

          My car KL 11 BF 8001 has gear changing issues in my ameo automatic. It keeps getting stuck and I had given it to the Calicut dealership for repair. They take so much time and after a few days they gave it back to me without rectification and I am getting stuck everywhere. I complained to Volkswagen and few people called me and said they will sort it out and it's been more than two weeks no one has done anything yet. I thought this company has some ethics and values. But it rubbish. Don't go for this brand again . Big mistake

            I’ve had given my car to volkswagen navi mumbai autobahn automotive
            I’ve paid approximately 30, 000 still after the service the paint drops are there on my car. Before giving i had mentioned about it and they’ve had asked me for more 1500 for making sure they clean it. But it’s the same and the servicing is not done correctly even after paying so much.

              We have a vw jetta 2011 model bearing registration number kl-45-f-4748 registered in my wife’s name mrs. Thankamma samuel. Recently i have given the car in phoenix cars, thrissur an authorized volkswagen showroom for resolving an issue of temperature. The car was left there for more than two weeks but the issue was not resolved.
              The problem with the car is that it shows the highest (Maximum) temperature in the meter cluster. The reading abruptly goes high when the ignition is on even without starting. During this time, starting the engine is often delayed. I have to try for two three times to get it started. At the same time, the fan keeps running incessantly like anything and ac is not found working at this point. As the car moves one or two kms the meter reading resumes completely into zero showing zero temperature. At this point the ac starts working. However, fan keeps running no-stop. It goes on and on even after ignition is turned off.
              Your service people and electricians tried to address the issue taking a time of more than 15 days.
              First they said it is the problem with the coolant system and advised me to change coolant it. It was done but issue persisted.
              Secondly they said it is the problem with the battery. After checking the same, it was not the issue.
              Thirdly they said it is the problem with the wiring and harness. It was checked and found that the entire wiring was not faulty.
              Fourthly they said it is because of the faulty fan unit. It was checked and could find anything wrong.
              Fifthly they said it is the issue of meter cluster. But after checking it with some other vehicle it was perfectly ok.
              Finally their conclusion is that it is the problem with ecm costing lakhs of rupees. They sent out the car without giving me a proper guidance and without solving the issue. I can’t afford to go for such an expensive kind of thing. My car was put in the service station for more than two weeks simply because of the lack of expertise technicians.
              Kindly address these issues since the company is responsible for such high risks. The fan keeps running all the time when ignition is turned “on and off “. I am frustrated now.
              I have already paid considerable amount for offering no solution and now got upset. Please rectify the issue asap. Or else i am compelled to go to some consumer forum/court.

                The below mail to volkswagen capital - new delhi was sent to them and 4 reminders were sent to followup, till date no response has been received by me which is totally unacceptable and non professional and i am totally jon satisfied with the services.

                Sir/madam,
                This has reference to my various discussions with your staff mr. Jitender sharma with reference to above mentioned car bumper paint which was done by volkwagen capital workshop last year and during my last visit to volkswagon capital workshop it has been noticed that the bumber paint is been cracking if seen very closely and the colour of the paint has also changed/faded. This was discussed during my last visit at volkswagon capital workshop and was explained to me that this is not a paint complaint and it is due to hitting of bumper with some object (Which is not correct, there are only minor 2-3 scratches happened due to brushing of other car may be in parking however there is no dent on it) on the bumper which is very normal for almost all the cars if parked outside), i have also requested mr. Jitender to show me or check himself the cars in the workshop which have similar scratches/dents in the bumber and paint gone bad as in my case. However, till now i could not got the reasonable answer for my query till now and i am totally disappointed with the service and the material quality. To satisfy me i have been offered 50% first and then 60% discount for the repair work on the day of my last visit. I fail to understand that why should i share any further cost for bad material or work done by volkswagon capital workshop and after having so much stress and also when i am not been compensated for spending my day and incurring cost of petrol for bringing my car there from vasant kunj (25km approx.in heavy traffic) and incur transportation costs to get this job done again? Already spent full amount as per your list price.

                Please note that i have got all the job done including repairs and bodywork through volkwagen capital workshop since first service. I expect that my car to be handled by a company workshop with genuine parts and material and spending higher cost and traveling in heavy traffic from my residence in vasant kunj which is 25kms approx. Further, i have taken amc twice just to upkeep my car in best condition even though some of the vouchers remain unutilised and expired in my last amc of 2years validity for which i have never complained.

                I am attaching the pictures and video clip of the bumper which clearly shows there are minor scratches on the bumper and i cannot accept this kind of paint quality or workmanship which is far below standards of volkswagon.

                I look forward to consider my genuine case and your quick response to get the repairs done urgently and keep the goodwill and standards of volkwagen service station high.

                  Hi volkswagen team,

                  This is regarding the issue which have been raised with tanya car workshop located in sitapura jaipur regarding my car tn06q5967 – polo highline 1.2
                  I have dropped my car on 13th nov-18 10:04:32 am to service advisor mr. Mangal for accidental issue on the left side of the car.

                  While i dropped my car, mr. Mangal informed that the left side rear tyre has been damaged and need to be changed as i have a zero-depreciation insurance with hfc ergo, i asked him convey the same to the surveyor and get it changed. However when the surveyor visited, the tyre damage was not presented to him so he just approved the other damage which was on the car body.

                  Now, this was informed to the surveyor two days later and a video was shared showing only the tyre damage. Since, it’s difficult to do the impact analysis by watching a video, the surveyor agreed for a second visit on following monday however till then the accidental damage was repaired and now the surveyor has denied the tyre claim. This clearly shows that due to the negligence of the workshop and incorrect survey initially this was missed out. If this would be presented initially there were 75% chances that the tyre would have been replaced. Re this, i have spoken to victor on friday (
                  23-nov-18) the manager in workshop but he didn’t come back yet with a response.

                  Along with above issue the workshop has used my car for their personal use. The in-kms was 21, 143 when i handed the car to the workshop and when delivered at my residence it was 21, 196 kms which include 15 kms drive from workshop to the delivery location.

                  Now, when checked with them they are providing false excuses that it was used for some testing, i asked to send an email to me mentioning the same which they are not agreeing.

                  The above scenarios was really a worst experience for me which was not expected being a volkswagen customer and i would need someone to address it immediately and get compensation for the same from the workshop.

                    Vehicle sold on 21st jan 2017, during the first service at the above mentioned team, the windshield was damaged, the rear bumper was brushed with scratches adding the rear mudflap to be broken (Jan 2018). The mud flap was fixed in the month of feb 2018 improperly causing the same to make rattling noise. I have lived with it. However in nov 2018, i find that the extended warranty has not been provided to me! I call back for the same, after 15 days i receive the extended warranty. No proper communication from the crm manager. Can volkswagen look into this? Volkswagen, your competitors do a better job in crm, i am expecting a proper response. Very unhappy with volkswagen.

                    To add on this, the Volkswagen customer care executive made a conference call with the CRM Manager(Shashikala) in the morning to discuss on this, she promised a call back in half an hour and she didn't. In the meanwhile the customer care executive(Abrar from Volkswagen) called to ask if she communicated anything? He was making an effort to join the call with her and she gave me a call, I address her to disconnect as the other person(Customer executive- abrar) is trying to reach her. He joins the call, and she blasts at me in a very inappropriate way! While the customer care executive too is on the line! Is this what a CRM manager is entitled to do? Is this the Volkswagen way of addressing the customers? Why do you hire such incompetent people? I only ask Volkswagen 1 question. Is this is how you entertain your customers? Will you(volkswagen) address this concern?

                    I just hope Volkswagen really values a customer and see to it that this is resolved!

                      I have a polo highline 2016 model, it has a damage in its stearing rack and is covered under warantee, the car was examined in service centre at barath mothers mangalore, and parts was ordered on aug 11, and i still dint get the parts for my car, still running with the faulty stearing rack and when enquired in service centre they tell, that they still dint get the parts that is till 23november (Today), deeply dissapointed with the vw service. This is the reason i droped the plan for extending my warantee. I request you kindly to see through the matter and resolve it, vechicle no : ka 19 mg 8444

                      After i have posted my complaint here, the i got a call from customer care and i explained them, they got in touch with my service centre and askd them to clear my problem . After that i visited my service centre and there was a small error in suspension they set it right, free of cost .

                        I have purchased car from volkswagen showroom in udaipur.
                        In two years colour of my car starts coming out, when i purchased car they told me that colour of car will be forever and they gauratee me about colour that they have seven colour coating and it lasts forever.
                        But now colour is coming out and i asked service centre of volkswagen i e rajesh motor in udaipur to kindly check why colour is coming out and as they gauratee about the colour is forever but noe they are not agree with it and they are saying its due to some chemical.
                        But i don't know why they are saying like that as no chemical used by me.

                            We have booked a polo caras per sales contract form bearing no. 349 dated 21.09.2018, by paying an amount of rs. 25, 000.00 as booking advance. As per the sales contract form it is noted that the vehicle will be delivered with a period of 30 days.
                            Now we have been informed that the financial arrangements has to be made with them at the rate of interest what they decide. The insurance on vehicle has to be taken with their agent. The vehicle has not been delivered till date.

                            We are the janatha group of institutions engaged int he business of gold and diamond jewellery. We are having financial arrangements with different banks. We have told that we can arrange the funds from our part. We are also having tie up with insurance companies and the vehicle can also be insured by our own arrangements.

                              Today, I would like to share the disastrous experience that I have been facing for the last 18+ months.

                              Very Important NOTE: I have tried to post my experience on Social media multiple times but my account is being blocked by Volkswagen so that other customers don’t get to know the issues that I am facing with my car. Volkswagen, please stop doing all this nonsense. They will mark as solved, but nothing happend. shame to volkswagen

                              The issue is pretty much straightforward. To my utmost surprise, Volkswagen has started manufacturing and selling brand new cars fitted with refurbished second-hand engines that break down within 4 to 6 months usage (where I drove 3K kms only).

                              I have been personally facing this issue. I have bought “POLO Highline petrol” during 1st week of April-2016. The car started troubling me right from the 4th month of the purchase.

                              In the span of first 7 months, I drove approx. 6000 kms in which I have suffered at least 3 times with the car break down and Engine Leakage.

                              I have brought this issue to the notice of the service center & the Volkswagen Company numerous times but no one seems to be bothered about the issue that I have been facing with.

                              Finally, due to the lack of proper response from either of the hardcore culprits, I have filed a CONSUMER case against Volkswagen and the service center in JULY-2017.

                              After 10+ court hearings, finally, the service center has shown up at the court on March 22nd 2018 for submitting the required documents.

                              Volkswagen Company & the service center have never submitted any docs to support their claim of the new engine. This indicates that how irresponsible they are & how pathetic are they in treating their consumers.

                              Today, I wanted to question them @Volkswagen, why are you guys ill-treating the customers? I had so much trust while buying the car and you guys broke all my trust within the first few months. This is absolutely not right on your front. You can’t treat your valuable customers like this.

                              Here are the details of the issues that I have been facing with you guys:

                              Engine leakage.
                              The quarter part of the engine is rusted.
                              Engine number doesn’t seem to be company printed. It seems to be locally printed by a roadside mechanic.
                              A lot of hammer marks across the engine which looks fishy.

                              For solving the issue, I visited the Elite Bangalore service station (1st week of Aug/2016). They fixed and return the car to me. Traveled KM is 3231 when the indication came.
                              The Same issue repeated (engine malware function). Car towing by road assistance(that time I am a vacation with family). The car reached to PPS Motors Hyderabad service station (13/Oct/2016), they replaced some sensors. They took some long trip for testing and they intimated to me, your car ready. Next day I collected the car (31/Oct/2016). Traveled KM is 5634 when the indication came. This time I have faced a good amount of inconvenience with family(my parent's age 60+ and 6 months kid)
                              The Same issue repeated again (engine malware function). I visited the Elite Bangalore service station (4/Nov/2016). They have returned the car in a week. Traveled KM is 6360 when the indication came

                                Why the service levels in volkswagon kochi india is so bad? Asking customer to wait for 90 mts to take a complaint? 3 times coming to fix the repair issue and negative attitude of service agent. Reached service centre since the service agent didn’t pick up my call and waited for 90 mts to take the repair work in spite of paying advance amount and asked me to wait till 430 pm to fix the rear view mirror which is already painted and ready to fix. Came 2 times earlier and didn’t fix it since it came around 530 pm and once service agent was not there...

                                  Myself dr shivam mishra from new delhi. I purchased volkswagen vento tdi amt comfortline last year on 6th august 2017 and the warranty commitment given to me by the sales representative from frontier volkswagen safdarjung enclave new delhi was for 2 years from the date of purchase of the vehicle,
                                  On 8th november 2018 my car had a breakdown and i had to take road side assistance for a jump start and was told by the mechanic that the car battery is dead and i need to get it replaced. The very next day i. E on 9th november 2018 when i visited the workshop [frontier volkswagen gurugram ]the staff over there also advised to get the battery changed but refused to replace the battery saying the battery carries the warranty only for one year unlike vehicle which has a warranty for 2 yrs for which due to crises situation i had to purchase a new battery of same make from outside as the company quotations were too high.
                                  Kindly explain me is battery not a part of the vehicle, and if not so, why i was not given a separate warranty card for the battery.

                                    We paid an advance of 10000rs in the month of august 2017 which they mentioned as refundable and still dint receive the advance till date november 2018. Called them many times but no response. They will tell you we will call you back and some fake reasons and never responded back. I have the recipt with me and papers related to the advance given along with the check number i gave them.

                                      Had not cleaned the black spots quoting that it would take long time. When insisted it was done which was hardly a matter of 5 minutes.
                                      Had to wait for 40 minutes due to printer issue. It was said that a signature is required on the bill. We insisted that we will pay based on the soft copy of bill. But they denied and made us wait till printer issue was resolved. Volkswagen being a german brand, this was least expected. A simple digital signature would have done and been customer convenient.

                                        We gave our volkswagen vento for repair to kollam volkswagen authorised dealer. We were informed about injector problem in cylinder two which was replaced n car was delivered. V had a smell of kerosene from the car for which v called the service engineer. He reassured us that there is no problem n the vehicle is perfect and can be taken for long distance travell. Following which just three days after receiving the car from service station we traveled to munnar. On the way v realised that there was frank diesel leak from the injector site. This is a major negligence from the service station part. And now we are stranded in munnar but v are getting irresponsible replies from the service station. Do rectify the issue promptly or v will be forced to file a suite against the company for negligence and putting our lives in danger
