I took delivery of my new polo tdi in sep 2017. It was all ok and was completely happy with performance of car. The car has only done 2500 kms now. The rides are bouncy with various thud sounds. The stability while driving a new car is gone. Every time there is need to apply brakes to reduce bouncing of car. I keep tyre pressure usually to 32. I complained about this to volkswagen mumbai west service centre located at andheri east. Their experts took test drive and they simply denied anything wrong with the suspensions. This clearly shows that customers view point is of no importance. Upon great insistence they agreed to replace but did not assure that it would be free of charge. They said it was all upto volkswagen company to approve the replacement for free.
They told me that they can start process to replace after march 31 due to over load. Now on april 2 suspensions are not available. So i need need to wait for 10 more days already i have waited for 15 days. I don’t think they are interested in solving the problem. Their behaviour is very indifferent and false assurances are being given.
I am fed up of non cooperation of service centre and unnecessary delay. The enthusiasm of owning a sturdy and stable car premium car from a german company just seems like a no more.

Looking forward to your cooperation in helping solve the issue and restore my trust in product from your esteemed organisation.

    I have given my accident car at world class automobiles moti nagar new delhi on 31 dec 2017 repair order no. Is bs1703148 delivery date was 14 feb 2018 but they delivered on 28 march 2018 with out giving me old replace parts irresponsible thing is that they delivered car to me with deisel leakage from engine which i came to know when i was going service center to home on 28 march 2018 is there any responsible person in delhi or i take legal action against service center

      I refer to my polo 1.2 comfortline anniversary edition bearing chassis number mexj17606jt076394 and engine number cjl147295 purchased on 19th january 2018 from mody autocorp pvt. Ltd. Based in panaji - goa.

      On thursday, 22nd march 2018, the vehicle showed difficulty in moving in forward direction, after which the service department of volkswagen goa was contacted and they promptly arranged to tow the car to the service center.

      At the service center, we were informed that the clutch assembly of the car, which had been driven only for approximately 613 kms, had failed and needed replacement, and would not be covered under warranty.
      Since i was not in india at that time, my mother, who has been driving a maruti 800 for the past 20 years agreed to the repair since the vehicle was required urgently. The repair was carried out within 2 days and an amount of rs. 21, 354.00 was billed to us (Invoice # sip1705079).

      I would like to know, how the clutch assembly of a car driven on normal roads for just 613 kms could have failed, when the driver has an experience of over 20 years.
      More importantly, the service team at volkswagen goa did not even attempt to consider that this issue could have been repaired free of charge under warranty considering that the failure occurred in just 2 months period after purchase.

      I look forward to an intervention in this matter from volkswagen india and a full refund of the paid amount.

        Hello volkswagen,
        I am a volkswagen customer. I have a polo i bought it 2012. Last month i went to evm volkswagen cochin to exchange my car and the sales team were cheating me with their deal. They told me they will give exchange bonus and loyalty bonus during the test drive. And i send them advance money for booking the car and i went to the showroom. During the time of booking they didn’t give me any bonus. So i said like i don’t want to book a new car. The sales man told me like they will refund money if book and he forced me to book the car, they cheated me with my money.
        What should i do with this?? Please take further action against them.
        I was a happy customer and i never expected from this volkswagen.

          As i’m shruthi v booked polo anniversary edition in the month of jan 2018 with the executive kiran. And the process was not good no one called me for the finance options i used to remember what should i do finally i purchased it from other dealer and i gave the cancellation letter for the consultant in the month of feb 2018 and he asked me to wait for 7 days later after a week i called him n asked status of cancellation he asked me to send the request through mail this went on for 10 days but the problem was not solved again i called for the dealer customer care number the lady promised me tht ur money will be credited in 4 days again she asked for some more documents i provided it but still der is no response from the dealer about the cancellation and if i call for both the executive and customer care manager, both are not ready to pick my call

            So, to start off with i've had a vw polo for about 20 months now and its been a great car that only invokes only more of an enthusiast out of me. But, post a sad crash although not too big, the airbags deployed that left me in ptsd. I had gotten it towed to the nearest service center in hyd - pps vw khajaguda with roadside assistance to my rescue.
            I was informed decently about the damage and cost estimate with a three week waiting period to pick it back up alive and looking new.

            Been over 7 weeks and they still have the same excuse of insurance with zero interest in the job cause i didn't get no call or information regarding the vehicle. I have to call and check every week and frankly its exhausting.
            German cars are beautiful but close to zero after sales service.

              After sales service - A nightmare with Volkswagen .
              Yes you heard that right, after sales service of volkswagen specially volkswagen Hisar is worst you can think of . From incomplete knowledge to misguiding customers, they have done it all. I recently bought a Ameo highline plus in december 2017 and since the last 3 months i had visited the service center twice for faults in my car . Once the car crosses the speed of 80km/h the steering vibrates and trust me it was a major vibration, you can see the steering shaking, it took 3 hours for the volkswagen hisar to diagnose the problem and what they did was a wheel alignment, yes a wheel alignment for a shaking steering. That's brilliant . Same day after the dealer ended up disparaging the brand value by saying ' this is a issue in all volkswagen cars', I went to a tyre car center and got wheel balancing done there and miracle the problem was gone, volkswagen took 3 hours for a job was merely a 15 min work. But it didnt stop here, after 3 days one of my car's front tyre got a bulge at a speed of 20km/h and the dealer once again stoo[censored]p to my expectations by saying ' sir you should contact MRF for this, they will solve your problem, as if i bought the car from MRF and you will be shocked to hear that my car only have 1500 kms on the meter. I have already complained to volkswagen india (CCR no. - 113405) but no solution. It went like this, I received a call from volkswagen hisar after I lodged a complaint with volkswagen india, but their response is far from satisfactory for a company which is focusing on customer satisfaction . Their customer relationship manager as well as workshop manager did not give me any satisfactory answer to my questions.
              I am not at all satisfied by their grievance redressal methods. Your dealer's staff should learn to value the customer and his trust in your esteemed company and should not try to disparage the image of company by making any false comments.
              After my experience i have no doubt in my mind why Toyota is leading in customer satisfaction. They service your car in 60 minutes or give you a 20% discount if they fail to do so,
              After all this said, i would like to say that i wont recommend Volkswagen to anyone ever now . I hope you would take my feedback seriously unlike your dealer-partner .

                Its very sad to tell that indore service centre is not doing its job properly. They are calling in the morning and just wasting my precious time.. Also they charging more money. They called me 10 in the morning and still have not started. Last time they spoiled my main front light without fixing it properly and dust gone into it.. Please take action otherwise i will take legar action and move to higher level..

                Vento TSI Power steering is very hard since it was bought.
                I have taken the car for check at the Sewri /Mumbia downtown workshop but they are just not able to fix the issue.

                  Hello this is subramanya from hubli, karnataka. I have a vento 2012 tdi... I noticed a coil lamp was blinking and there was a sudden power loss... I consulted a technician in vw service centre... He said that it is a egr problem and it will cost around rs.55000.. I have not noticed this problem in any of the cars.. But vw being such a grade company, cannot imagine that they can provide such a quality products...

                    My polo i had given for service in authorised service center in kashimira and den in that time my car has flirt in water so wen i had given my car only the car has to been service and now my car is not running properly the car was like i put in the scrap base but den also i they put all accessories without my permission and the bill amount became of 3, 15, 648 den y should i pay this was my problem but den also i told ok ill pay for it den i had paid my amount den also the car is not running not getting start also they r saying now u had to put injector and now also he wants 66000 more for work den y should ill pay now this was my mistake i had given for service at that time my car was running and now the car is not running its my mistake so please take my request and i m paying money for dat so please take a action quickly and my car no.                       I own a Volkswagen Vento bought in the year 2012. Ever since it's first scheduled service the car had a engine vibration issue almost every year.Till today it happen almost 6-7 times.Happened today again. Before buying I thought Volkswagen as the best automobile brand but I was quite wrong. Volkswagen has the worst impression on me. I have now decided that not only I will sell this stupid car now and buy another car from a different make but also recommend others to be away from Volkswagen.

                        I had booked a polo gt car on 3rd march 2018. As per february there was an offer on polo gt if you test-drive the car you get a 20k discount on the car.
                        The first sales advisor had told me that i will get a 20k discount on the car as the new offers comes on 5th-6th of any month so as per the first sales advisor i should have got the 20k discount.

                        Later comes the second sales advisor. He stated that i will get a 20k discount to add on it i asked for one more gt spoiler and car cover as i also own a vw polo 1.2 mpi. The 2nd advisor stated me that he can give 20k off or the spoiler for which i denied and came without booking the car.

                        Same day i went in the evening and i asked for booking the car. The first service advisor was quite and the second advisor was doing the talking. He said "the 20k offer is gone and he cannot give any offer on the car"

                        I knew something was fishy as vw cannot change the car offers on the same day. (This is what the first sa told me i have proof audio and chat)
                        And a complimentary car cover was offered to me.

                        After all this i booked the car on 3rd march 2018 (Saturday).

                        Monday i got a call saying my car has reached the lot (This was faster than a amazon delivery). I asked for the vin of the car. And it was an 2017 make.
                        The sales guys wanted to sell me a 2017 car in 2018 and that too the car was booked in 2018.

                        I told them to cancel the car and i dont want a 2017 car that too without any offers.

                        Same day i got a call that a 2018 car is avalaible and i can get the 2018 car.

                        I paid for the car and i bought the car on 18th march 2018. And i still havnt got the car cover.

                        The people in vw goa are bullish and they try to scam you every possible way.

                        I am a part of vw group goa and all the buyers have the same story to tell about vw goa.

                        I will never buy a vw car again + i will not recommend anyone to buy a vw.

                        The Service advisor (Fernando Dsilva) from the Modi Volkswagen Goa. had told me that the car has 7litres of fuel in it.

                        As an average the car gives 10km/lts and the MID showed that the car can drive only 10kms. (MID SOMETIMES SHOWS ERRORS SO I CAN IGNORE THIS)

                        The car has 45lts of fuel tank. + 5lts of (reserve ) total 50 lts tank capacity.

                        The car gulped in 47litres of fuel at the nearest petrol pump.

                        How is this possible ??

                        VW MAKES GOOD CARS BUT THE SALES ADVISORS ARE A BIG TIME LIERS THAT IS WHY THE SALES OF THIS COMPANY IS SO LESS.

                        LOOKS LIKE VW IS ON THEIR WAY TO FOLLOW CHEVROLET.

                          I have done a booking for polo gt tdi (2018 make) on feb 3rd 2018 from elite motors, bangalore. I have got a promise from the dealer that i will be getting the delivery of the vehicle on or before feb last week, then i got the loan approval in one week and made the full payment on 16th feb 2018 with the agreement from the dealer that i will be getting the delivery on last week of feb 2018. I have waited till end of feb but i have not received the vehicle and when i checked with elite motors they said volkswagen plant is still having few 2017 make vehicle left out so, i will be getting the vehicle only once they clear the 2017 models. But i did not get any such communication when i did the booking and clearing old stock of vehicle is not my concern, also if that is your policy volkswagen should not allow any dealer to take booking of 2018 make vehicle. This is completely your fault. And then i got a commitment from the dealer that i will be getting the vehicle on first week of march, but it did not happen and they just pushed the date to next week, still even that did not happen, they again pushed the date to next week, so it kept on going pushing the delivery date to next week. Even the dealer does'nt know when they get the vehicle and the thing is i already paid the fist emi for the car loan and the next week i will have to pay second emi. This is very sad that paying emi for a vehicle which i have not received and don't know when i will be getting. If volkswagen is really struggling to sell your 2017 make vehicle then give better offer/deal to customer. I noticed that volkswagen is not giving any offers to 2017 polo gt tdi then who will buy old make vehicle. And you are not releasing the new vehicle to the customer who already did the payment and waiting infinitely. This is not fair volkswagen. I want you to fasten the delivery process of my vehicle

                            Hi i am would like to understand few things about wv operation policy in india as customer of your product
                            I have been using your product for past 9years i have bought polo/vento/polo gt tsi sports
                            But the treatment today for your chennai sundaram motors, made me send this mail. I requested them for oil filter for which they have insulted me saying that we cant give oil filter in spite of me telling them that i have bought all cars from the same brand, i have even told them i can give copy of my rc and insurance and pan to certify i am the customer. But the answer i got is i cant sale the spare part to you. Now i required clarification on this why customer is not allowed to buy spare parts, as per my understand when you sale the product is sold to public even spare should be available to the public / customer. Why our rights are denied is this the same practice wv world wide or only to indian customer, if only to indian customer pls let me know but as per my understanding spare to all product need to be available for customer.

                              Me and my spouse met with an accident on the highway in our vw polo. Both were wearing the seat belt and inspite the air bags opened we both have fractures on our face and rib. My right hand got fractured and my spouse's right leg got fractured. I was sitting on my spouse's lap even though i had my seat belt buckled. My left and right ribs are fractured, jaw is fractured. My spouse's jaw is fractured too. My concern in whats the purpose of the seat belt in vw?

                                I have a volkswagen polo tdi 1.2 disel reg no mh20cs6405, registration aurangabad. I had given my car for a routine check-up today morning and received car at 4 pm, unfortunately while coming out of the service station the security gaurd opened my dicky and banged the dicky so hard that my dicky lock is broken, it is going to cost me 4000 rs for getting it replaced. I will have to unnecessarily pay for not my mistake. Kindly make a note do the needful. I like volkswagen brand have been your loyal customer since 2014.                                   We had purchased the voks wagen polo-a05 ind. Highl 55tdi m5f in the month of 10 nov 2012 and has run for approximately 89000 kms, we have got the vehicle serviced at the specified intervals by voks wagen at the voks wagen authorised service centre, hubli (Kumar motor corp pvt ltd). We were surprised that the timing belt had failed while driving from anantapur to bellary on 05.03.2018 at 89000 kms against the life of 120000kms as per voks wagen norms. It is disappointing to know that the quality standards of a professional company as volkswagen is very poor. It is noticed that 4 – 5 cars of volkswagen (Vento tdi, polo) have experienced engine seize due to “snapping of timing belt “which was taken by my colleagues in our company (Jsw steel ltd) from volkswagen.

                                  As per discussion had with shri vinay bhusanur, crh, volkswagen hubli please take up inspection /repair/ replacement jobs under voks wagen account due to prematured failure of timing belt and poor servicing & work man ship

                                  On 12.03.2018 I had given my vehicle at KUMAR MOTORS PVT LTD, Hubli ( VOLKSWAGEN AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE) by towing from Anantapur to Hubli.. Till date the vehicle is not ready and there is no information about any progress made in resolving the problem which has occured(Details mentioned in previous mail). As mentioned in above mail it is noticed that 4 – 5 cars of Volkswagen (Vento TDI, POLO) have experienced engine seize due to “snapping of timing belt “which was taken by my colleagues in our company (JSW STEEL LTD).

                                  At JSW STEEL town ship, there are thousands of vehicle from other companies like MARUTI, HYUNDAI, HONDA, FORD, TATA, MAHINDRA, RENAULT, BENZ, BMW, GENERAL MOTORS etc . But till date none of the vehicles have faced such type of problem which is really astonishing!

                                  Till date I have not recieved any reply from Volkswagen service centre where I have left my vehicle. Me and my family are facing lot of inconvenience as we are unsure how to proceed further.

                                  Being a valued customer of Volkswagen, I'll positively expect Volkswagen to interfere & resolve the untimely issue which has happened from a globally recognized company.

                                  Need your timely response in getting my vehicle (KA 35 N 2247) back.

                                    We own a 2012 volkswagen vento 1.6 cr car with registration number mh 31 - ea410

                                    Was a very happy customer of vw with the car performing

                                    A software update was done to my car which has resulted in many problems in my car.

                                    Fault in engine light on dashboard was on
                                    Reduced power
                                    Increased engine noise
                                    Egr valve failures
                                    Injector failures
                                    Dpf filter blockages
                                    Reduced mpg / fuel efficiency etc

                                    Before submitting my car for software update i gave my car for complete check up as my service was due so i asked the service manager to check my car tell is everything fine. He called me after 1hr 30 mins and told me that car is perfect and very smooth just servicing will do. Than i agreed for software update.

                                    While takeing the delivery i saw fault in engine light on dashboard was on. I took my car directly to vw nagpur (Sadiq motors). Without touching my car adviser told me egr valve failures, injector failures, dpf filter blockages. He told me it will estimate cost you 60k without touching my car. How can that be possible just after software update.

                                    While taking delivery of the car, there was considerable increase in engine noise levels of the car, there was more vibrations from the engine than what it was before, there was decrease in power of the car and some intermittent jerking of the car once in a while.

                                    Promptly complained to the service adviser about the charge in behavior of the car. Adviser took my car to service center not just once but thrice.

                                    But there was no decrease in engine noise nor vibrations as told by the adviser.

                                    Now to the issue, my car has run around 5k kms, while traveling with family members in the car on 18th november 2017, night, all of a sudden the there was loss of power from the car with the engine check light on. Limped home which was quite nearby.
                                    Called up the next 19-nov-2017 on mysore road service centre but was not answered as it was a sunday. Called on monday and was asked to bring it to service centre, limped to the service centre, service advisor told they need to scan the car for issues and told that they would call back with the results of the scan.

                                    Simple i understand vw has changed my parts or damaged my parts to earn some money from me.

                                    Volkswagen is trying to dupe people into thinking that there is no problem with their software update but we know clearly that is not the case, and there are numerous issues after the software update, not only in india but all over the world, with complaints about -

                                    Reduced power
                                    Increased engine noise
                                    Egr valve failures
                                    Injector failures
                                    Dpf filter blockages
                                    Reduced mpg / fuel efficiency.

                                    It is just looking like after a software update you screen will broke down and you need to change it. Please dont play with your loyal customers.

                                    To mask the short comings of your mistakes and inefficiency you're taking your loyal customers for a ride...?

                                    Didn't expect this from such reputed brand like yours.

                                    Now what else is this than quite clear erosion of trust that we had in volkswagen...?

                                      Hi,

                                      I own a vento high line petrol variant. I have been regularly getting my service at elite motors in bangalore. Their service has never been great, but there wasn't anything bad either. So i continued going back there.

                                      I had changed my bettery last year march/april. At random few days back my car stopped. It refused to start. I managed to push start the car and bring it to elite motors for a check up.

                                      On my request to check the warranty of the better, the technicians at elite motors checked and confirmed that my battery is covered under warranty. Then they said it would take a total of 3 days to check the battery and revert to me with a replacement. Although this seems absurd to me, since elite motors has my entire service records, the battery was purchased from them and they are aware that i push started my car and that it refused to restart again.

                                      However they insisted that the old battery be charged for 12hrs and then be checked. I has visited elite motors on friday. I was promised delivery by monday evening.

                                      On monday morning, i did not hear from any body from elite motors. I connect with my service technician, mr. Vijay. He did not receive my call. Instead he messages me back asking me to call patrick the service manager. Patrick takes my call however and he said he will call back but never really connected with me. I msged him back later and got no reply.

                                      I call back on tuesday morning. Patrick takes the call casually and informs me that he has to recheck it for another 12 hrs. And that i must wait still. I don't understand this. There is no respect for a customer's time. Now i am still waiting for him to revert. All this under an excuse of he machines always it must be charged. Or that that warranty is yet to be released from volkswagen. This is really pathetic.

                                      I have bought the battery from an authorized service centre. Then have all my records. My car is regularly serviced there too. Why make a customer wait? Why not just replace it when it's clearly a battery issue.

                                      I have to say i am currently quite disappointed with the service levels at elite motors.

                                      I want his feedback recorded and would to understand what volkswagen would like to do about it.

                                        Hi,
                                        I was told but by volkswagen service center @ nagawara that they had done an engine oil topup as part of their ugadi campaign offer.
                                        But in two days when checked by volkswagen service @ mangalore for a brake issue they identified that i need to top up another 1ltr of engine oil.
                                        Why is the engine oil top up required again in 2 days?

                                        Remark from service advisor @ vw service mangalore : looking at the oil thinness it doesn’t look like there was any engine oil top up done in the recent past.

                                        Why this difference of opinion between two service centers of vw within the same region?
