I had met with an accident on 2nd may, 2017. The dealership has done such shabby work that i had to take the car for repeat repair for more than 6-7 times at shri kripa automobiles, nasik.

I called the customer care helpline more than 4-5 times and have registered a complaint. I also sent an email to customer. [protected]@volkswagen.co.in in the month of october. It's december and yet no response. The dealership is pathetic and volkswagen india's attitude towards customer care is worse.

Not recommending anyone to buy volkswagen in india

    My polo got break down and i called to the showroom for help. They told they will connect the helpline and will get a call immediately. I got the call after 1:30 hrs. I was with my family and stucked on highway for these hours. I didn't receive a call too till that time.in between the local people surrounded by helped me and i moved the car to another location.
    This happened on 4th dec from calicut, kerala. I was at calicut town.
    The car was purchased on 2014 july. Only 3years.
    I am really unhappy with your service.
    Also i had a great experience with hyundai before for the same case and at mid night. It took only 1 hr to move the vehicle to showroom. Got a call immediately and they did it very well. I had more worst experience with your service.

    I have repaired locally and wont need your service for now.
    I am not having words to complain for your worst service. I already updated, I have locally resolved my problems and now my car is at OLX.

      I took my VW for service on 7th Aug, and did the oil change and they told there is a oil leakage in oil cooler then that was resolved. after service there was a kind of diesel smell was there while running that i noticed after 3 months there is a huge fuel leakage in fuel injector due to it was not fitted properly, every connector and switches are not re fitted properly, still i noticed oil leakage in engine. Kindly look into these issue and revert ASAP. Kindly call me for any query. Thanks

        Dear VW India Team,
        I purchased a brand new Polo GT TSI on 21 September 2017. The car has run approximately 1350 kms so far. On 1 December, Thursday we took the car out for a ride from Mysore to Bavali, Kerala. After driving about 50-55kms, we started experiencing violent jerks when the car tried to upshift from D4-D5, after a few more kms, it started happening in th lower shifts as well. We had fortunately reached the destination by then and thought that it would not be best to drive the car anymore that day. The next day when I restarted the car, it was all very smooth and we took the car out. But then again, after 40 kms, the jerks started. This time they were a lot more frequent and very violent . I promptly called up KPR cars and spoke to Mr Lohith from the CR and he suggested that I should bring the car once I returned. We again let the car cool down and restarted after a few hours- the jerks were gone. But having had a terrible experience that morning, we decided to cut short the holiday and drive straight to Mysore on the morning of 3rd December. The car remained happy for 40kms and then it jerked more and more violently. Also, the car would automatically downshift once D7 was reached - for no apparent reason.
        No matter how much I tried,
        the car would not accelerate once it downshifted on a speed cutter.

        There was a heavy rattling sound on the left side.

        Thanks to our starts that we reached Mysore safely- particularly considering that we put away in the forest with no cellular network and many Elephants around.
        We took the car to the local dealer- KPR cars Pvt Ltd. The local technician and the service head himself took the car for a test drive and now the car hopped like a frog with violent jerks every second. The engine warning light was also on and The traction control light was on as well.

        Ever since that day, the car is in the Service center and everyone is diagnosing what is wrong with the car. It has been five days and there is no definite diagnosis from their side.

        I bought this car believing your commercial tagline- "Not any car- it is Polo GT, Respect "
        I feel very cheated as that "any other car" wouldn't have developed a defect this soon.I wish I had purchased a Nano instead. It would move, if not gallop.

        I believe that a defective car has been sold to me. The Service center has failed to give me any answer yet.

        I request you to kindly look into the matter and resolve it at your earliest. A defective car is not acceptable by any means.

          Car went for normal servicing on 25/11/17, but mr. Manender from capitol volkswagen took more 10 days, and raising new problems everyday in car. Cab takes 675rs 1side for my office, spent more than half of my salary. I think they using car as standby coz it was working perfect before sending them

          Regarding poor service rendered to me by the dealer and the persisting problem, i have called WW on not less than 3 times.

          Till date they never bothered even to ask me what is the status of my grievance !

            My vento car purchased in 2011 requires a replacement for worn out rear shock absorbers. I stay quite far away from the volkswagon authorised service center and in the car condition i am not able to drive it or tow it there. The service center refuses to sell me the part or help me get it and insists on getting the car to their service center. I am in a fix because i do not know where i can get a genuine replacement for vento shock absorbers or the part particulars for me to ensure i purchase a genuine part. These parts are not easily available in open market. Please help in this matter.
            I would like to warn all prospective purchasers of volkswagon cars to be warned of this aspect.in case the car has a breakdown quite away from the authorised service center (*where service is extremely costly) it will be a very sad experience.

            I stay in Trivandrum Kerala and my contact no is [protected]. I got a very unsympethetic and callous response from your franchisee in Trivandrum. However I managed to get the part ( after lot of research since it was not available in Kerala spare part shops ) and is relacing it.
            This fact o[censored]nhelpful attitude in a distress situation with limited options for repairs is a fact that has to be kept in mind while going in for the next car.

              Dear sir,
              As per your earlier mail regarding software up gradation. I took an appointment for the software up gradation on 7th sept, 2017 & they have done the same & delivered the car to me but then I noticed that my car is showing Engine check light was on, then again I went to the workshop so they repaired it and on way back to my house again the engine check light was on then immediately I informed the workshop manager Mr. Abdulla so he was of the opinion that he has to change some item which may cost more then 50, 000/-. I asked him that my car had no problem before bringing to your workshop for the up gradation then how come this problem has raised, so he was unable to reply.
              Now please advice me what to do? Again you are asking again for further up gradation of software. What about my problem? Who is responsible?
              Please advice & do the needful asap.
              Early action in the matter will be highly appreciable.

                Dear sir,

                I have purchased vento tdi, highline from volkswagen, hubli in nov 2015. First servicing of the car was done in nov 2016 at volkswagen, hubli. For second servicing, i again sent my car to volkwagen, hubli on 30 nov and the car was driven around 190 km from my place to service centre. My car has run around 24000 kms.

                I am informed by the service centre that the pipe/tube connecting common rail injection is bend.

                I am surprised to hear that because my car is driven by me only and the only place the car was given for servicing is at volkswagen, hubli.

                The service centre claims that the the pipe is bend at some service centre or mechanic.

                I have filed my complaint with the call centre of volkswagen and reference number is ccr105226. My car is in service centre since 30 nov.

                I want to inform that i have neither opened the cover under the hood nor have given my car to any mechanic in last two years. Therefore, there is no reason the the pipe of common rail system gets bend.

                I want the common rail system to be replaced by the company/ service centre because only agency that has attended to the car is service centre hubli or it is manufacturing defect.

                Firstly I would like to thank Consumer Complaints- got response from Volkswagen(I) and also a call from Volkswagen, Pune.

                In reply, I have informed my concerns to the lady to who called me from Volkswagen. Lady requested me to communicate my concerns in reply to the mail from Volkswagen. I have followed-up with mail to [protected]@vw-kmcpl.co.in" <[protected]@vw-kmcpl.co.in>, NSCI R: Mumbai, Customer-Care <customer.[protected]@volkswagen.co.in> "[protected]@vw-kmcpl.co.in" <[protected]@vw-kmcpl.co.in>.

                Update about my car is that now the Service Centre has informed that the bend is in Pressure Sensor Switch and not in Common Rail Injection System.

                Cost for replacement of Pressure Sensor Switch is around Rs 2800/- (as informed by the Service Centre).
                Frankly don't know how the bend in Common Rail Injection System is now termed as bend in Fuel Sensor System- Cost of repair comes down from Rs 40, 000/- to Rs 2, 800/-.

                It is a matter of concern - Is this retract from bend in Common Rail Injection System to Bend in Pressure Sensor Switch Sensor a move to ' Get Away from Poor Diagnosis' and pose safety threat to the passengers in the car.

                  I handed my vento car for service 10 days ago. The car is still with elite motors ltd. The issue is with misfire.

                  The team is struggling with identifying the root cause and solving it. There are no regular calls to update the situation. Its pathetic experience.

                    Dear sir / madam, on[protected] only i have completed my car yearly service in m/s. Abra motors, ambattur, chennai-600058. Within 2 months the service centre is again gave a list of items to be changed. I want to know that what service done at the time of yearly service? Moreover this is the 2 nd time i am missing my car accessories while servicing (Last time reverse horn, this time one wheel cup-driver seat back side wheel). There is no proper communication about service or any issue. I am attaching herewith the bills related to september 2017 service and current list gave by the company (Item no 5, 6, 8 to 20).                       My wolkswagon gt got some brake issue, the car is approx 2 months old, i took it to wolkswagon srinagar jammu & kashmir & they convyed that brake drum is under leakage which requires to be replaced at the same time disclosed there inability to fix it as the part is not available neither in state nor at delhi & asks for unreasonable time. My car is lying with them, they also waiting for part which is yet to be arrivrd

                        I was contacted by your sant autoways, mandi hp service center for software update. On sunday 26th nov 2017, i went toervice station, with my vento car ch01al4560, where they advised me to get the vehicle service also. They hand over the serviced car same evening. After updating software, checking and service. They changed rs 12 560/. Also they advised us to get two of the car, 's tyres as well, considering them as experts i did go through their advice and replayed them.

                        I had already informed them that i had a long travel plan due to family commitment, so i started from himachal yesterday i. E 30th nov for delhi. And today morning started for gwalior from delhi, in between at yamuna express highway just before hitting agra, i observed something frivolous and the indication in the car through the highlighters were showing stress in the engine.
                        I had to pull over and called sang automobiles. They almost were irrational about their conversations and did not take up the issue.
                        I had to myself contact agra's local service center, which eventually sent a mechanic to help me.

                        The mechanic who was sent by vokeswegen authorised dealer has indicated issues in the injectors. As per him, all fuel injectors are fail and when i asked him for the reason of such a cause, he put he blames on the diesel (Fuel).
                        Which i got filled from a reputed indian oil dealer in moods while starting today in the morning.

                        My vehicle is parked in agra and i have taken a taxi onwards to gwalior.
                        I do not believe that a vehicle can go wrong in just 300 - 400 km especially immediately after the service.

                        I have my serious doubts that my vehicle's parts are been replaced by the service station during the service as my total run of the car is less than 45k km.
                        The service station clearly has tricked me and i need them compensate for the loss and for the inconvenience which my family has faced in this journey.
                        Need them to fix the issue in my car which is currently parked in agra.
                        Agra's mechanic has informed that the cost of each model is rs 25000.

                        I would appreciate you to take a strict action as a reputed brand. I hope customer satisfaction is still you outpost priority.

                          My car polo comfort (Up 15 bd 5600) engine run about 30000 km has for servicing to voslkwagon ncr east, shahibabad, ghaziabad, service advisor has told to replace egr for rs 60000/- which is not justified. Such costly items is going to change for engine rune only for 30000 km. How it is possible to change for rs 60000/-. Kindly see the matter it can be retify only by cleaning or any other options. It is kind of scandal like we have listen in car for incrasing the pollution level in some place. Kindly see the matter so that we can be comfortable run the voslkwagon can.

                            I have purchased the volkswagen highline petrol costing 8.70 lakhs on road by your goa dealer. The manager had promised a 25000/- discount on 2017 model and 15000 discount on 2018 model. Now that the car has arrived they have reduced the discount to 10000/- after i have paid the full amount. Also i opted out of their 35000/- insurance policy as have a quote of 18000/- from another insurer. The manager threatened that he will remove the 10000/- discount if i dont take the insurance from them and has given me 20% discount for the insurance. I tried to cancel the order but i believe it is not possible as i do not want to deal with this volkswagen dealer. I dont even want to go to the showroom and pick up the car as i am totally disgusted. I will never recommend anyone to buy volkswagen in goa if this type of dealer is the only one available.

                              I have made rs. 3 lakhs down payment to novaa motors, volkswagen dealer in thane during oct 2017. However, the dealership was closed during end of oct 2017 due to some unknown reasons. I am unable to get my money back.
                              Email sent to novaa motors as well as volkswagen is not answered yet. Please advise the way forward for the refund amount or else how can i get new vento through other dealer by making the balance payment

                                My car is met with an accident on august 12th. And damaged parts of my car are right head lamp, right fender, bumper, right fog lamp and right alloy wheel.                                     I have purchased volkswagen vento tid in january 2016, i left my car for bodyshop worl 5 days back, now today service advisor called me saying your battery is dead suddenly and you need to purchase new battery for 7500rs else you can not take your vehicle home. When i called vw customer care, they said they only give 1 year warranty for battery, when i called service centre, they told me it happens all the time, its not our fault and do whatever u can. So now either i have to purchase new battery from them or wait for service centre to provide me logical answer regarding the same.                                       I have been using volkswagen polo since last 4 years (From 2013) and i haven’t ran my car much (Total 40, 000 kms).

                                      Recently there have been fault symbol
                                      Showing in dashboard, i went to authorised service dealer in kannur phoenix vw showroom they said there is leak in silencer which can be cleared only by replacing it which will cost ₹35, 000 “are you serious!!”.

                                      This like slow poisoning. Reason i bought this car is due to its quality. Does your company manufacture with such a cheap quality. Its a shame!!!
                                      I checked with other car manufacturers they said this never happens in their cars that too with this short period.

                                      Please note that in your website i saw that your silencer and muffler are corrosion free. Which contradicts with the situation now i’m in.

                                        I have volkswagen polo all-star on 8 dec 2016 including stereo on the same day from volkswagen showroom. The warranty of stereo is for 1 year and it's now even 10 months completed when my stereo touch display stopped working. Now i complaint to volkswagen executive who assured us that they will resolve our issue and touch will be replaced at no cost as our stereo is under warranty.
                                        But today i went to volkswagen showroom in new aryanagar, ghaziabad when they demanded to submit inr 3000.- first and told us that your stereo is repaired and you need to submit 3000 rupee first and then after submitting, your stereo will be dispatched from mumbai.

                                        I don't know why they are demanding this amount from me as my stereo is under warranty.

                                        Further, my polo is also insured under zero % dept policy.

                                        My problem is not resolved yet. Please try to resolve as early as possible and pls update us on our phone.
                                        I am getting fake calls. They are asking my card details and CVV number.
                                        Kindly provide me seperate options to register our complains.
