The facts of the case are as follows: I gave my VW Jetta (Registration No. MH01BF1625) to VW Capital (Automark Motor Private Limited), Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi for service and minor repairs on 12th July 2016. On 17th July, they informed me that an employee who was engaged as the security guard stole my vehicle at around 3.30 AM of 17th July. An FIR and a police complaint was filed on 17th but there has been no trace of the car or the thief so far. The investigation by the police is being hampered as shockingly Automark Motor Private Limited does not have any identity or address proof of the guard who was allegedly engaged on a temporary leave vacancy on 16th evening! Such negligence and breach of faith causing huge financial loss to an unsuspecting customer is unimaginable and unheard of in annals of auto repairs and maintenance.

From my discussions with their top officials it appears that they feel that since my car was insured by me, the insurance payment that I may receive in future is adequate compensation for my loss. They also tried to convince me that this was not their fault but the fault of the security agency appointed by them. It is shocking that an Authorised Dealer of a well known brand like VW can be so nonchalant and uncaring about grossly deficient customer service and can feel they can wriggle out of any responsibility toward a customer who has suffered because of their gross negligence and criminal breach of faith.

Ironically as a settlement they offered to give me a "generous" discount of Rs.3.00 lacs on a similar car of 2015 make and asked me to pay Rs.21 lacs for it! Another 2015 car which had done 8500 kms and probably used as a test drive vehicle, was "very graciously" offered to me at a price of Rs.17 lacs! Shockingly they expect me to pay for my loss. And there the matter rests though they claim they are “searching” for a suitable replacement!

It is not just the financial loss, but it can be appreciated that I have been made to suffer serious mental stress and agony, inconvenience and a feeling of helplessness and harassment. And Automark and its officials have so far conveyed only their apologies for committing gross negligence and criminal breach of faith. In fact, I had to return the “courtesy” car sent by Automark as the front left tyre and stepney were damaged, the left rear door couldn’t be locked, the clutch was very hard and the right suspension or steering system was making a disconcerting noise while being driven. So much for the “COURTESY” shown! They have now promised to resend the car after checking / repairing the faults.

It is high time that Automark Motor Private Limited, a Authorised Dealer of a reputed brand like VW, takes responsibility for their gross negligence and gives serious thought to the formidable VW brand they represent and what it means to customers, principles of customer satisfaction if not customer delight and natural justice.

As a lot of time has already been wasted by them, I hope they take this complaint seriously and VW ensures that they resolve my complaint early.

    I haven taken an ameo from pps motors pvt. ltd secunderabad on[protected]. and my car broke down on 1-8-2016, smoke has come out from engine and ac window. your service team has told that it's the problem with fuel. but when i asked them to send the samples and file a case against the petrol bunk where the fuel bought from they did not speak a word on it. stop giving reasons, i am clearly mentioning that i need a replacement and i m not interested in taking back the car.

      I am user of vento 1.6 mt comfortline with registration number up80 bs 8145, vin: wvwl10605bt018268. I have visited your service station at vw kalyan sales llp, agra, with a complaint of noise in the front (Driver side) while running on rough roads and turnig the car. They first recomend me to change the arm's set as their bush had wornout. They changed the both arm set, but the condition remains same and the problem dosnt get resolved. They then suggested to change the drive shaft, as it was making sound on turning the car. This was also get done but the condition remain same. No benifit done after spending 16000/- in service and spares. Now they are suggesting to change the shockers (Shock absorbers).
      I think the service persons at agra service centre are not capable of repaing the car. The are only present there to change the spares and making experiments on our expence..

        I given my car for small glass scratch issue happen due to viper blade that been changed ago 2 months, i given it to make glass polish to remove the scratch but the vw service center kottayam (30/7/16) terribly made the scratch to whole place (Drivers. S) scratches. So please check the issue. Even i cant drive in night due to scratches mad by them. The employers also behaving rashly when we ask about this matter.

          The above said vehicle met wit an accident out of state(Tamil madi) when v had been for trip. As only ladies where there and thought the damage is minor for bumper v got it ready thr in a near by gauge and reached Mysore but later as soon as v reached v gotta kno tat vehicle is damaged in deep n took to nearby showroom in manglore road Mysore (pls do get more details from showroom)
          At time of checking when vehicle was dropped to showroom 2.5lak was the estimated amount said but later when the insurance company refused to give claim showroom management said the estimated amount as 3.5 to 4lak is this fair??? The vehicle was insured at bajaj insurance company as forced by the showroom management itself now there is no support from showroom as well as insurance company.. pls do the further needful and solve the problem as earliest vehicle is in showroom since 4months

            On 22/7/2016 i have given my car polo 1.5 tdi highline for service, for average issue. my car average is 12.6 per liter. i am taking daily feedback form company but not getting any answer. today is 9th day of service and i am without car having daily issue because of rain. i am advocate therefore, i have to carry important document with me so give any solution or service car.

                  Hi volkswagen team,
                  This is to bring to your notice that i have recently purchased a new volkswagen vento (Petrol – highline) on 3rd july 2016 from globus cars, delhi and have been facing lot of problems from dealer side and now i’m extremely pissed with their staff, their attitude, mismanagement and mis-guiding the customer in every step. The globus cars team has called me to the showroom twice since the day i purchased my car and that was just to fix the high security number plate and collect my original papers like extended warranty, insurance, rto slip etc. Of my car.

                  And it is very surprising that neither the high security number plate was handed over nor the original papers were given to me till date. Also, the heights o[censored]nprofessionalism by their staff was when i spoke to ms. Manisha (Sits in their reception) and confirmed my visit of last saturday from gurgaon to the showroom (100 kms up and down) just to collect my high security number plate and original papers. Even she knowing the customer is visiting she went on leave, didn't even bothered to assign the job to her subordinate and was neither taking calls till i was in the showroom. Due to which i waited for over 2 hours in their showroom only to get clarity on the status of my number plate for which their staff was totally clueless and one of them was telling me that it is misplaced and new number plates will be handed over as and when it comes. I’m just reiterating that i was confirmed on 13th july that my car high security number plates have come from rto and i can come and collect any day.
                  Then out of my frustration, i had to push their staff to speak to their director (Navneet singh anand) for immediate solution of this matter. But later they figured out that director has kept the number plate in his locker and he is not in showroom for the day and his phone was constantly going unreachable throughout the time i was in the showroom. This truly shows their wrong intention of harassing the customer, unnecessarily.
                  Before this visit on 23rd july 2016, i had a meeting with navneet in his showroom on 17th july too where he had confirmed that the sales person will visit my office in gurgaon to hand over all necessary original documents and high security number plate on 19th july. But as usual, not even a single call was made nor any person visited till date.
                  It is such an unpleasant experience i had with the entire team of globus cars that my words are falling short for that. Due to which, i’m developing negative opinion about the world's second largest company "volkswagen" too.
                  I seek your quick intervention and resolution of this matter immediately.

                    I contacted on 25.07.2016 @ 121 am on no [protected] and on 1.22 am, 1.23 am(3 times) 128 am, 1.36 am for help on [protected], but could ot gt any respons and was left stranded with family.
                    I was required to take help of Police machinery to get out of the sitation and they boarded me and family in truck. I was required to leave my care Vento Highline AT.

                    Nobody contacted me thereafter and I was required to get car repaired though private agency.
                    you have withstood to your consumer satisfaction rating(3%).
                    The alloy wheels(3) and 2 tires got damaged rain sensing wiper are not functioning and steering wheel makes noise

                    I am surprised, how a corporate entity of worldwide presence can be shameless in posing itself to a fair by replying mail. your reply to my complaint dated 25/07/2016 s an attempt to cover up your failures in resolving issue.
                    It is because of your failure in service am required to bear a burnt. Three alloy wheels and two tires re victim.
                    Your sham less response that the query has been resolved. is utter falsehood and you have not taken proper feedback. It is because o[censored]nresponsive roadside assistance, have suffered great loss and was required to undergo mental harassment and financial loss.
                    VW should compensate the loss or else I will have to take appropriate step to resolve the issue at appropriate forum, to which you will be responsible.

                      Please help me from the scam of Volkswagen...

                      My card had met with an accident on 10th July near Botanical Garden Sec. 18. Immediate after my accident as my car was not in a riding condition, i got my car toed from oriental insurance and got this to Atrica Serice Centre in Noida 63.

                      I was told that there is no major problem, after 7-8 days when it was near to the delivery of my car i got a call and been told that there is a problem over my car engine which would charge around 1-2 lacs.

                      I am badly cheated by Volkswagen & Oriental Insurance. I have zero debt insurance, i have extended warranty and my car is just 4 months old. How easily these people says it can not be repaired and i have to get that done from my own pocket...

                      I have never seen so unskilled technician who does not know the problem, I am also not sure if my can engine parts are changed. I request you to please help me. My contact number - [protected].

                      Please please please please help me ... I want media to take an action against them on how badly they treat their customers...

                      Their GM & Other Support function does not know how to talk to the customer...

                        Hi team,

                        I am owner of vento diesel .My car r used hardly 28000 kms . It 3 times stopped on the road. When i call road side assistance number India which was given me at time of purchase was not working.So i gave to repair it at other nearer workshop.

                        After that incident i have hand over car for complete service with oil change at Volkswagen Rajkot showroom. After 5 day of service when i go for 1st ride the car stopped by warming up.When I told to Volkswagen Rajkot they told the pick up charge of 4500 ₹ for only 6 km driving. One of the service person told that open the car bonnet and check oil and water .In fact its not my job and Its my first ride after service.When i told why road side assistance number is not working then employees told me that its old number which we gave you now note down new number. Volkswagen should intimate customers that RSA number is changed.

                        I have used 2 maruti Suzuki cars before that but this type of dangerous problem never occurred. We are infact fearing to drive this car On road as it stops suddenly any where.

                        All the after sales service charge and replacement parts are much more expensive then other brands.In fact I will not use this dangerous car for more days and personally I rate Volkswagen after sales service very poor.

                        I just want to give you feedback that Volkswagen needs to improve their service quality standards . Otherwise in India many brands like Maruti, Hyundai, Mahindra, Toyota are very good options who give good car at reasonable price and good after sales service at reasonable price.

One of the service person told that open the car bonnet and check oil and water .In fact its not my job and Its my first ride after service.When i told why road side assistance number is not working then employees told me that its old number which we gave you now note down new number. Volkswagen should intimate customers that RSA number is changed.

                        I have used 2 maruti Suzuki cars before that but this type of dangerous problem never occurred. We are infact fearing to drive this car On road as it stops suddenly any where.

                        All the after sales service charge and replacement parts are much more expensive then other brands.In fact I will not use this dangerous car for more days and personally I rate Volkswagen after sales service very poor.

                        I just want to give you feedback that Volkswagen needs to improve their service quality standards . Otherwise in India many brands like Maruti, Hyundai, Mahindra, Toyota are very good options who give good car at reasonable price and good after sales service at reasonable price.

                          My car met with an accident and when i took my car to service station - atrica based on sec-63 noida, i was not told that my car engine is seized after 7-8 days and near to my delivery date i get a call that there is a problem on your ca engine and that has to be fixed from the customers pocket...

                          Freaking i have zero debt. i have car warranty and they are giving me that the car is seized due to heating... when car is met with an accident, you think it will be normal when entire front part is damaged...

                          Did they want few of the passengers to be died then they could have claimed the insurance. air bag did not open and you claim security... why do u provide 2 years warranty when you can even provide warranty for 6 months...


                          My car is just 4 months old and you treating me like i did a mistake... you could have informed that we are fake and we do not provide service... you claim brand (for no use)...

                            Today i visited my nearest service center "atrica automobiles" which is located at d-197, sector 63, noida.

                            Issue : i was getting warning light for coolant low level, i explained the issue and service adviser (Rahul) told me that there is issue with water pump which need to replaced and cost would be 16, 000/-, i said this is too much, are you sure this is the cost for replacement of waterpump he replied yes, i said ok go ahead.

                            After few hours i reached my office and did some investigation on waterpump replacement cost in india for walkswegan and other cars and i found generally the charges are lessthen 6000 as it is only the small motor pump which need to replaced.

                            Then arround 2:00 pm i received a call from valkswagen service advice stating there 5000/- more you have to pay because a small part is also to be replaced (I forgot the name of the part) so total cost would be[protected]

                            I shouted on him you charging over and i just found on internet that motor pump charges are less then 6000/- you charging 16, 000 for that, he said sir we are charging 4000 for labor for this part of replace ment then 2000 for coolant, but still it is 10,[protected] why 16, 000, now again you saying additional 5000 some other part, i start arguing and i said im going to consumer court and i will esclate this, then he said you dont worry i will make all the charges below 15000 only

                            But my question here is

                            1. Why these people are making fool to the customer
                            2. Why so much labour charges for this small replacement which will not take max 1 hour
                            3. Why he ready to minimize the cost? When i said, im going to esclate this

                            4. I'm very unhappy with atrica auto mobiles since they are making us fool every time when we go for the services. Our problem is there is only one service center we have and they are monopolizing us..

                            I would really want to understand why they are charging huge amount from the customer which are not technically aware about the part cost.

                            I need someone to take some action and update me with status of my complaint

                              Volkswagen dealer offers money with new front bumper due to mismatched paint than they emotionally blackmail & harrase the customer. On complaining this all to volkswagen customer care at [protected], [protected] they have no response, no reply even they commit to resolve but they can't do so. I want that there should be a strict action with legal actions towards volkwagen and their dealer also.
                              You people must close your dealerships as well as your customer care center because you all are very very negligent.

                                Volkswagen has a easy way of checking your fuel system.

                                If your car does not start, you may need to tow to the nearest Volkswagen service Station. there they check your battery and the starter, if found ok they then open and collect the diesel from the outlet of the filter. If they find rust or any colour similar to colour of rust, then you are dead !!! They immediately say your diesel is mixed with water and it will cost Rs.3, 00, 000/- as the entire fuel system has failed.

                                I do know many would have come across this and regretted buying a German engineered volkswagen.

                                  I have purchased a polo petrol comfortline from bangalore motors ltd, bangalore from sales outlet on mysore road in the first week of july 2016. after buying the car i have been requesting the dealer that i need to fit a reverse parking sensor to the car which they have been denying. the dealer staff says that niether i can get it fitted in the showroom no outside garage. they do not have an accessory for the variant and they do not permit the customer to fit it outside. if fixed outside, they will deny any warranty for the car

                                      I am writing this mail after a lot of contemplation. I won't mince words to tell you that i am an extremely dis-satisfied customer right now.

                                      I have always been an ardent fan of volkswagen and the proof is that i own a polo tdi registration number mh 04 gj 7836. Even as i type, i am confused if made the right decision on buying it and the other thought - did volkswagen actually live up to a fan's expectations!

                                      To begin with-
                                      I fail to understand how would a car which is as new as 27 months old have such grave problems! I understand the procedure of regular yearly servicing. Depending up on the running of your vehicle, the wear & tear is gauged. We are charged a bomb for the yearly maintenance. But if your competitors (Who are way below the standard of german engineering) are giving confident guarantee of three years, it’s time for you guys to start thinking.

                                      On the un-fateful morning of friday july 15th at 3.45 am... (Read it correctly) my volkswagen polo breaks down in the middle of the road. I would say it’s normal for an old car to break down but weird if it’s just 27 month old and to top it off its the german giant - volkswagen. The worse follows - the roadside assistance number on the mobile application & on the website is not functional. So we all should know that the roadside assistance is not 24x7. I struggle on my own because assistance is denied!!

                                      The next day i manage to take my volkswagen polo to the service centre in mira-road. After initial analysis, it’s found that the fault is with the battery. Senior supervisor tells me that battery life of any brand - vw or market owned is just two years!! Which i fall short to comprehend because another friend of mine who owns a volkswagen vento has been driving it without battery change for four years!! Also attached is an article which enlightens you of average battery life of a car battery.

                                      This should prove it. All the articles state average life as 4 years & not 2.

                                      My ordeal doesn’t end here…after leaving the car at the service centre for complete car check; i get the shock of my life. The customer rep calls to inform me that the alternator (Part that my car battery connects to) is faulty. I don’t believe this as i still have complete faith in my favorite car makers - volkswagen. How can they make a part that is so week that it lasts only 27 months!!

                                      So the question here is either i am being taken for a ride by the service management at the mira road service centre or volkswagen. (Sorry to say) if i believe the service managers there, then volkswagen should inform the buyers about the weak links in their so-called impregnable technology. And if the service management at the mira road service centre is fooling me, then please have it rectified. Either ways, i am the one suffering emotionally, mentally & financially.

                                      Please find a solution to it as i plan to take this up to the highest authority. It’s not a threat but if i have to strategize a legal action, take it to the media, micro-blog it or even if i have to write to head of the company out there in germany on this one - trust me, i will do it.

                                      Hope you restore my trust back in my favorite brand.

                                        Hi. I have purchased a new jetta highline a/t from evm kottayam show room which was booked on 17th october 2014 with advance payment. The delivery of car was made on 20th march 2015 at 7.00pm. But i regret to inform with utmost displeasure that the service from evm motors in delivering the vehicle was totally unsatisfactory due to the following:

                                        Problem was noticed in speed settings when we were about to take delivery of the car at show room. Car has to be taken back to the workshop again and do some changes.
                                        Spoils were seen inside roo[censored]pholstery of the car and we requested for a clean of the same and the spoil became more dirty and spottable after cleaning.
                                        Car was driven for about 200km next day and the third day morning (22nd march 2015); more specifically wihtin 48 hours, car showed trouble in starting and on our report to your maintenance section the car was towed to workshop and did some rectifications and returned in the afternoon same day.


                                        Hoping that that the defects are rectified, we took delivery of the car and drove for another 60km and parked the car at home.
                                        On 23rd march 2015 evening, while i tried to start the car for travel to trivandrum for an urgent assignment scheduled for next day morning, the same trouble repeated and could not be started. As advised by you, i have contacted the road assistant about 4pm and i am informed that they will arrange to take the vehicle back to the workshop immediately. Though we have waited till 3pm on next day the road assistant people did not turn up and next day morning only the car had been taken to the workshop.
                                        For the next 3 days, though i have contacted you and other managers of evm, nobody could give us a feedback about the trouble for a new vehicle of a brand like volkswagen with international reputation.
                                        Finally on 27th march 2015, i am advised that the problem was due to a loose cable and nothing to worry and we do not understand why it took so much of time to find out a small issue and misguided us saying it was due to some software upgrade etc.
                                        Though i was not interested to take delivery of the vehicle again with such a bad history within 3 days of purchase and was demand for replacement with a new vehicle or return of money, believing your words and letter that the problems had been resolved and verbal assurance that the problem will not be repeated again we accepted back the car.

                                        7 days after purchase of a “new, branded, premium” vehicle costing more than 25 lakh. I expected a better service from volkswagen & evm and reserve my right to claim for all difficulties and damages caused to me due to deficiency in service from the part of evm motors and volkswagen.

                                        Within one month there rise another problem, white smoke was coming out from the exhaust so i reported to the kottayam evm service area and i have been told maybe it will be some issues with the sensor and check it if it happens again. So after one and half month the problem happen again. So i have reported it and asked me to show the car in trivandrum evm volkswagen. They have checked it for oneday and told me there were no issues or error for the vehicle. So i believed them and took the vehicle. But the problem happened again after one month. So this time i asked to check completely and filed a complaint in vw customercare. So it tooked 3 days to get my car back after checking. This time also they cant find any issues and they verbally assured me that it wont happen again.


                                        On march 14 2016 i gave my car to kottayam vw evm for the first service. Before giving the car i noticed my paddle shift was not working and i told the technician to check that too, the next day he called me and was explained that they cant decode the error from the paddle shift and they have informed to vw, so vw asked to replace the part. So he delivered the car he told me that he have already order the part and it will be available in trivandrum evm within 3-4 weeks and told me there is no issue in driving the car with paddle shift not working.

                                        On april 2nd of 2016 while i was driving the car, the car suddenly brakes down in the middle of a heavy traffic and i cant move my selector or start the car and in the cluster it was showing brake error and stability error. I was stuck in the traffic for 10 min hearing abuses from other for getting such worse car and getting stuck in traffic. Luckily my car started after 10 mins and i drove the car for 1km and called the helpline and they asked me to show the vehicle in the nearest vw. Because i was travelling to kottayam inbetween i showed the car in thiruvalla vw and they checked it told me that there are emc error showing and i need to take the car to kottayam showroom as they dont have much facility there and told me that they will forward the errors to kottayam vw. On the sameday i took the car to kottayam vw and after checking they told me there is no issues and the car is in perfect driving condition. But i asked them for an explanation why this happened because it is abnormal for a perfect driving condition to stop suddenly while driving and even can cause major accident (Infact i bought this car looking forward for the safety features and im getting risky driving condition) but they dont have any explanations for that and even they dont know what to do. I told them there were some errors when the thiruvalla vw checked. So they told me that they will forward the error to volkswagen. I have registered a complaint in vw customer care and complaint number was ccr44371. But until now i didnt get any explanation. All im getting is reassurace that it wont haappen again
                                        But it is happening again!!!

                                        On 29 april 2016 my father took the car from trivandrum evm vw after a body work beacsue of a minor accident (There were some dents and scratches around the right side of back bumper and body. I have given the car in trivandrum evm for insurance claim and repair. Within 3 days they called me and work was finished but when i see the car work was really bad the paint job was uneven there was gap between bumper and body so they asked 1 more day to resolve it and the next also shen i see it the bumper and body was uneven so i told them i wil complaint this so they asked me to come on 29 april 2016, its reallt pathetic that your service and bodyworks sucks). So my father was driving the car back home and previos problem starts to come up the same braake down the brake error and stability error message on the cluster. Car will move for 5km and will brakesdown then againt starts and breaksdown after 5km. So it happened 3 -4 times on that day. With all light around the lcd panel turning red. So i informed the techician and he told me that the engineer will come on next day to my home to take the car. So on 30 april 2016 the technician came and checked it told me that the abs sensor and some other sensors are not working thats why its happend. So they took the car back to trivandrum evm vw. They have replaced the sensors and all. But when i called the today on 05 may 2016 they are telling me tht error is still showing. And they need to change the paddle shift which was orderd nearly 2 months before. So the order will reach them after 4-5 days will replace it and give further updates. And finally they delivered my car after 2 weeks resolving all the issues (Told me by the service teamand service manager evm vw trivandrum) and assured me again and again that i wont happen again.
                                        Guess what on 4th july 2016 while i was driving back from a party at around 11:30pm with my whole family, that includes my 3 month old son, the car broke down again in the middle of the road narrowly escaped from a crash by a car that was behind us, i have to here the abuse words they call me because i bought this car. I called the road side assistance they towed the car back to workshop and arranged a taxi for us. So this the 5th time it is happening. I am sending you the complaint mail because of the frustration im getting for buying a premium vw car spending more than 25 lakhs and poor after sales services you are providing, with in one year of purchasing the car there has been 5 incident of break down and explaanation from your side is simple excuses like loosend cable, sensoe errors, all im getting is reassuarance. Did i buy a toy car spendind more than 25lakhs to get a loosend cable? I am cent percent sure that this is a manufacture defected car. So i am claiming for a replacement of the car with a new one with no additional cost to me as price, taxes, insurance, temporary registration, handing or any other incidental charges, or return of the entire amount i paid for purchase of the car including, taxes, insurance, all other incidental charges. Or else im moving legally.
