I have purchased vento automatic hiline from karnavatti volkswagon ahmedabadon 09.05.16. I was deleverd damaged car. After two days from delevary i noticed that the gear shift plate is damaged and the same was informed to the sales representative of karnavati volks wagon by phone call. He said that whenever you come to ahmedabad they will check it but now they says i have to pay 50% for the damaged part. My point is that if it is not their fault then why they are ready to bear 50% cost? Since last one month i m regularly in touch with the sales person and i have also visited the showroom but at that time they said they will talk to management and inform me. Now today they are not even answering my call. I request to sattle the case as early as possible. My car no is gj01 rp 7784. My cell no is [protected]

    Hi,

    I have polo, 1.2 petrol highline model. I have purchased this vehicle in 2013.

    With in 3 years, my cars speed sensor (Abs sensor) was changed more than 4 times.

    Vw charge rs 4000 for this simple magnetic sensor. What is the resaon why they arr charging such high price for this cheap quality part.

    My battery also dead in 3 years. And they dont have tie up with good quality battert providers like amron.

    My cars starter motor (Rs 16000) was changed 2 times within 2years.

    Why is a brand like vw is using such cheap quality items? And charging too much for this?

      I got appointment for my polo car serviceing. On appointment dt.22.10.2016 I reported 2.00 p.m.at unique auto shiroli Kolhapur authorised service center of walkswageon car company. After lunch hour the concern person check my car. I told him all details about servicing & other problems, after that he send car in workshop. I told that person about extended warranty and road site assistance. After yhat at 5.15 pm I seen that no one working on my car in workshop. And no one is working about extended warranty etc. Aftet that I have made complaint to senior person. After that paper works do fast & all car works do fast in hurry. And at 5.49 pm concern person told me that due to time limit car washing is not possible. I m not satisfied about that. I observed here that the persons with approach with concern person those car completed promptly & properly.

        I am owning volks wagen vento car for last two years. i am extremely happy with the car performance but because of the two complaint given in the subject matter every body is hesitant to buy volks wagen car. pl. try to resolve these issues to explore more and more market in india.

        Customers like me facing these problems and not able to recommend others for vw cars due to expensive spares and service and different stepney tyre.

        Will you look into the matter?

        this is very true... they charge too muh for parts. not satisfied with quality too.
        I do agree with you, I am using vw Vento for last two years but very much baffled to see diff Stepney Tyre size, mainly it is to increase boot space but they, under the element of safety say that you should not use for long, which is ridiculous, it means that for shorter duration they want us to drive on mismatch tyres, what about safety at that time and if it happens on highway what do you do???
        Their car counceller never told all these things while selling the car, and quality of appollo car tyres is not good.
        Infact car counselors are so arrogant that they say " we don't mind loosing customers like you and undermining Maruti cars saying that they don't give importance to safety, internationally we are best Maruti is not but they conveniently forget that we stay in India,

          My last maintenance service visit to PPS motors Secunderabad with the complaint of Turbo not getting kicked in was never resolved and I had been sending and contacting the VW service networks i have not found a solution yet. None is aware exactly what's the issue.
          And their predicting potential service charges are exorbitant...
          I had been charged for regular periodic maintenance to the tune of 20 Plus thousands... which i feel and enjoy the pleasure of Driving the Passat.
          I do not have a true PASSAT that works to it's promise.
          Dear VW,
          I bought this car with Love for the superior technology you develop and the image of VW cars... Today I am not sure if I ever think of owning another VW at all your service is indeed below the industry standard and the dealer's service network sucks and they do not strive to change my perception.
          So do you have any Suggestion or help to offer to change my views?!

            I rishi puri had purchased a volkwagen vento 1.5l highline at on behalf of our company lords hotels & resorts in the month of march this year mh 02 ee 3604 and it had been a pleasant experience until last week when i gave our car for the first service.

            I wish to bring to your attention just how disappointed i am with the service that is seriously lacking by your servicing team at cotton green. The car was upgraded to a motevo music and navigation system by the dealer during the purchase. When our car was picked up last week for the service, it arrived without the simcard/gprs card in the motevo music and navigation system. I tried complaining but pradnya would not listen and the manager zahira lacked basic decency of even reverting or taking my calls

            This kind of service is inexcusable, and an unpleasant surprise from a brand like volkswagen.

            I would like you to take some action and look into this personally, but you do what you may feel is right. Anyways, it’s your actions that show how much you value my dedicated business.

              Car no dl3cbw2281, serviced at automark motors pvt ltd, delhi on 7.8.2015 (Advisor-mohan). Promised to return the same day but informed in the evening that there are defects in the car, to be rectified free of cost as the car is under warranty. Next day car was delivered and its battery was also changed without my prior consent. The issued invoice shows the cost of battery as rs 4545.12. At this stage an additional warranty was also sold to me creating an impression that the same was emanating from the company.
              Car was again serviced in august 2016 on payment basis.
              However on 15.10.2016, the battery stopped functioning and now the automarks informed that the battery have to replaced at cost as the same is not covered under additional warranty. An amount of rs 5716 had to be paid. All this does not leave me in any comfort. Be that as it may, i will have to go for any other car like toyota/maruti.

                Poor service volkswagen vento ap 05 by 3737 at volkswagen vizag-mody auto corp.
                My car is with volkswagen /their authorised dealer mody auto corp at vizag for more than four months for want of spares, today any spare can be airlifted with 24 hours any corner of the globe..
                It seems to be volkswagen believes in sales only, no service, no customer value, you won’t start service till you get advance, you won’t give the car till cheque of a corporate employee gets encashed, even after three or four days of follow up your team at vizag fails to encash the cheque.

                Today….. Today i am surprised to see message from volkswagen stating that you received volkswagen vento ap05 by 3737 for servicing today at 09:46 hours only and will be returned to me on 21 oct 2016. Where was the car….. Where it was last week…where it was for the last four months. The above said car is with you for more than four months, although it was broke down on the way on 7 th oct 2016, informed you to take over same day, as you promised trained staff are away due to weekend etc. You promised to send your service engineer at the earliest, but your service engineer came without tools etc. On 10 oct 2016, he told it will be rectified in kakinada itself during service camp on 14 oct 2016, but again your service engineer told, he brought second hand instrument, it will be replaced with new one & car will be returned within two days. The car ap05by 3737 is under your custody, taken to vizag on 14 oct 2016 itself, not today as informed over sms to me.
                Please rectify the mistakes, drive the car for at least 150 k. M on the highway, i will send my representative from my company as you have failed to do it last week. Hand over me the vehicle immediately at the earliest, pl don’t take week days or months as you have taken last time that too not done proper servicing.
                You have charged 2, 37, 000 last week only, till my cheques are encashed you have not given the car, car was not road worthy, they have a silly cause for excuses.

                  I’m writing this mail to you as I got to know on 7th Oct 2016 that the dealer in North Delhi ‘Globus Cars’ from where I got my car purchased has shut his business and the matter now will be handed over to other Volkswagen dealer. I don’t understand the reason of this delay and not handing over the Car RC to me even after 100 days of my car purchase and constant follow ups.

                  I have made end numbers of calls, written several mails and have been called some 10 times personally to showroom to collect my stuff but unfortunately, every time they gave me one or other reason with a clear intension of harassing the customer by not handing over the documents. It’s been over 75 days I have been chasing the Volkswagen India, writing mails and waiting for you that you will take this matter seriously one day. But, I’m extremely sad to mentioned that the world’s one of the biggest company is not been able to resolve this small matter which is taking longer than it was expected to close. You will also be surprise to know that neither a single call was made by the company (apart from just informing me about shutting down of Globus Cars Dealer) nor the mail received from the company directly (except the automated/pre-setted mails). I’m penning down my case in steps to make this matter crystal clear and want to understand is customer at fault or made mistake by trusting a brand Volkswagen and still chasing the company to get my rights?

                  The step wise detail is below:

                  (I don’t have records for end number of calls I made to follow-up and they misguided me every time)

                  • 5th follow up mail to Mr. Buchmann on 19th Aug 2016
                  • 6th follow up mail to Volkswagen India on 22nd Aug 2016
                  • 7th follow up mail to Mr. Buchmann on 23rd Aug 2016
                  • 8th follow up mail to Mr. Buchmann on 30th Aug 2016

                  At last, as a good customer I can't do but requesting you again and again, please help receive my original RC copy as a very law abiding citizen (You and me), we all know that driving a car more than 60 days without RC is illegal and a judicial offence. Therefore, it is my firm believe that you will not only take necessary action but also expedite it without wasting your and my time.

                    Volkswagen vento issues

                    The complaint is with regard to the quality issues associated with the volkswagen car services.
                    I had purchased volkswagen Vento in 2013 (car no. HR 29 AE 7951). Find below the Issues faced:

                    1. The coolent belt in the car was damaged only in a run of only 50, 000 kms and we are charged extra for its replacement. The belt has a minimum life of 90, 000 kms. How can the belt be so bad in quality...

                    Our sparingly used 2014 VW Polo Tdi driven just 22k kms, now engine check light-engine emission malfunction light glows in dashboard, done with 2nd paid service and driven 70 km again it's glowing.
                    Immediately reached VW dealer service mgr, he advised to bring in car.
                    I don't understand what's issue with our VWPOLO Tdi car? Why does emission light glows? How come I take this issue to Volkswagen India and get my issue get fixed?
                    Other VW dealer service personnel say check wirings, lose wires a reason, but our VW service mgr say part failure. The VW has to diagnose the car for weeks time and replace the part.

                      I left car to get Car Windshield replaced as it was broken under Insurance Claim and also asked to get RPM checked, Drycleaning done and AC checked. When I went back post assurance that all things have been done then I found - the car was not able to start only due to low batt and batt getting discharged. Plus I saw that the roof cloth which is attached to top roof had fallen down. Whn asked to service team they were dumb stuck and started saying that battery may have issue as its old. That was hilarious as I left car totally in running condition and suddenly the battery was not working. I left from there after they somehow got managed to get car started and said it will work fine now. However car didn't start once I reached back home and restarted. The batt went low again and I have been left starnded again. This is worst quality service ever.

                        Dear Sir,

                        I have purchased Ameo On 14th Oct 2016 (Friday) from Your Jabalpur showroom and it was having some issue with its sound system and they were not able to start it (due to some code issue ) and assured me that i should take the delivery and they will get it rectified on the second day.

                        Yesterday (Saturday) i called twice and talked to the manger Mr. Saleem he assured me that it would be rectified on Sunday since Saturday being an holiday.

                        When i called today (16 Oct 2016 ) he twice assured that he is getting the things done and get it rectified today but in the evening when i said i will mail it to the company i received a call from some service guy their that it may take a weeks time to get it rectified as the same has been told to them by company.

                        Fail to understand why fooling customer and why the faulty vehicle delivered to me.

                        I am feeling cheated and all my excitement of buying a new vehicle is vanished.

                        Thanking you in anticipation that my mail won’t fall on deaf ears and an action would be taken by either getting the sound system rectified/ replaced or getting the whole vehicle replaced.

                          Vento tsi-1.2lauto car purchsed on 8th aug.2016 and runed / drived only 354km. (Only 03 days) and sudendly on 17th sept. 2016 car was not moved neither forward nor reverse. From dealer's workshop known that problem in gear box, to repair will 8-10 days.
                          In such a new vehicle after runed only 354km if car is brake down means some big problem is there. Now not relied on this defective / rejected vehicle. Final conclusion is to replace / refund of vehicle.

                            Volkswagen vento tdi automatic is a big looser on the game. Trust my words drive for 60000 km and you will know the real tdi automatic that is a facet of poor engineering and on top of that pathetic service due to untrained staff.

                            Metropolitan/ Frontier auto world New Delhi is the most pathetic and cheap service Center that should be banned for selling a reputed brand like VW.

                            My car is with the service Center for the past 2.5 months and still no news. Engineers and service backup is under the grill and totally unprofessional. Service Center is unable to rectify the fault and don't have proper equipments to fix the error.

                            What can I say more... customer service and the call Center numbers are a waste of time and money. No escalation matrix is in place and customer will just be on his toes to chase the senior management.

                            0 is my ranking and the love for brand has gone into ashes. Please please do not buy Volkswagen is what I recommend to everyone.

                              Right from the emission scandal i was skeptical when my father zeroed in on the top-end model of the jetta highline at. The car was finally given to us after the staff mentioned in writing the emission scandal shouldn't affect us and in all likelihood we will get a software upgrade to make things all legit and fine. But little did we know that would be the start of our headache! We got our service book and manual after more than 4 weeks of the car delivery and 100s of follow-up calls and visits!!! (Whats more our service was due according to the system and we didnt have a service booklet to do anything)
                              The car drive-wise is really great and built also feels sturdy but it is the additional items like navigation system, auto sensor wipers etc. That are missing despite cars that cost half the cost provide far more.
                              What is worse is that our experience at the service station has been beyond dismal! The time frame it takes for the service has always exceeded the estimate and parts are never available! And every time i have had to give them my customer details as they have supposedly not been able to get my past registration and service details!
                              We had given our car for change of a backlight (For which we paid fully) but where as the time estimate was given as 5 days it took more than 2 weeks to get the car back... This was the time when my father suspected something fishy and even confronted the service staff for which they obviously denied. Now 2 months post the incident i recently noticed front passenger side roof having rust and when i looked closely i realised there were small dents around it... I completely suspect this was the issue for the delay last time (As our car is under cctv cover throughout the parking and we keep two covers on the car) and the problem happened during our car being in the workshop. They tried their best to cover this issue and we have been given this problem!
                              It is very unfortunate we have had more than 15 cars in last 12 years and have most of them parked at the same location yet never had rust and such cracks as well as dents on the roof. The make of volkswagen and the service of volkswagen is pathetic if this is what we get! (What is worse is the dents have definitely been fixed and if it were in our knowledge we would have got them corrected at the workshop but as this is not the case we are sure it happened during the last over-extended stay of our car at the moti nagar service station)
                              Would never recommend this brand to anyone. Regret why we didnt go for hyundai or suzuki!!!
                              Lastly, we took the car for the roof repair yesterday to another workshop (Not the moti nagar one, which i will never go back to again!) and to my utter surprise the workshop advisor asked us about the navigation card?!? (My father had been pissed off that the high end model that costs 25l doesnt have a navigation system and i was very upset and was going to buy a 3rd party system to compensate) and this is when we realised the moti nagar showroom never gave us the card and we feel cheated and so angry with them. Yet to confront them on this issue but my family and i feel frustrated and disheartened with our experience with volkswagen. Never going to recommend this brand and never going to use any of its sister brands as was planning to look at skoda kodiaq and audi sometime later in life!!! They are a figment of what i thought the brand was.

                                I have bought Ameo - Petrol on Sep-05-16, but I have booked on Jul-02-16. Twice the dates were missed by the Agency - Ramani Volkswagen @ Coimbatore. After raising many complaints, third time they have given me the final date i.e. on Aug-17-16, but before the date i.e. on Aug-13-16, I have visited the showroom and the people over there confirmed me that the Deliver Date is fixed as is. I really got shocked when I received a call on Aug-15-16 from the showroom wherein they have stated to me that the delivery would take some more time but they have not provided me any valid reasons. I really got pissed off after hearing to this type non-sense call from them. I had visited the showroom on Aug-16-16, wherein I met the Showroom Manager and requested to provide a valid reason for the delay on delivery. He did not provide me a proper response. After that day's meeting, after five days later I received a call from the showroom and they have confirmed me the final date, but this time I have requested to deliver on Sep-05-16 and also requested to complete the registration formalities within the time but they have failed to do that also. For that process I have spent two days for the completion of the registration process. They did not provide me proper information about the process. At the neck of the moment they have made me to complete the process on my own.

                                I have used VW Finance only, wherein the breakdowns were clearly provided. The initial cheque amount mentioned to me was Rs. 11381, but the amount they have deducted from my account was Rs. 11661. There was an extra amount deducted about Rs. 280 without my knowledge. After so many calls till now I did not get any valid reasons for this extra charge. Finally on Oct-07-16, they have confirmed to me over the call that they have committed mistake. The solution they have provided to me was indigestible, they informed that I should wait for five years till the EMI period ends. After the EMI's completion I would receive the extra deducted amount of Rs. 280. What kind of good service they have provided to me and I am afraid to say that what would be my future with my next coming EMIs. Will there be more hidden charges like this...! If so HOW MUCH...? Will they deduct the entire Money from my Account...! How many Years should I wait for the Extra deductions...! All the deductions would be my hard earned money, my sweat and my blood. I am really afraid of the services and quality from them. Please take necessary action and provide me the solution at the earliest.

                                  Very pathetic after market service. I fix service appointment for my vw polo 1.2 comfortline to b. U. Bhandari service centre at wakad, pune for resolving running maintenance. As per their sms through conformation i reached the place 10 minutes before & met with one mr. Tushar shelkar (As per mentioned in the sms) but the person not ready to make my job card & he said that my car appointment was not showing in his appointment list & he kept me in waiting (Internal dispute between service staffs). Finally another person appointed for my job card (Anil kamble) but the whole activity taken more than 2 hours for just make a job card. The person committed me to deliver my car on 2nd day (06th oct 16). Today is 08th oct 16 still i did not received my car. Everyday i am getting the same story of fake commitment and the latest one is 10th oct 16. This guys are really spoiled my week end tour plan & ruining the german brand.
