I have purchased a new POLO, Comfort line Petrol car, 2015 model in March
2015. I am sparingly using my vehicle and so far driven less than 4000
Kms. Within three months of delivery of vehicle, my vehicle has starting
problem due to discharge of battery power if not used/kept idle for more
than a week period. On several occasion I could not use the vehicle due
to above problem and created mental agony and each time with help of other
battery (by paying money) the vehicle was started and used. The dealer was
informed all the time and vehicle was taken to dealer thrice which is 85km
from my residence on one direction. Your service personnel has certified
each time that vehicle is in good condition. After repeated incidents,
your dealer has finally changed the original battery and provide a new
battery through. Exide dealer, a month back.
Now the problem continues as I could not use the vehicle for 10 days in
last month & put in idle condition. On 10th day the vehicle has shown same
problem of total battery discharge ie on 26th November 2015 and intimated
the dealer’s Service Engineer. Since no response other than a call, on
27th I have got started the vehicle by using another battery, and driven
the vehicle for ½ hour and parked. Totay, exactly after Six days(
4.12.2015), I have faced same problem and could not use the vehicle.
I strongly doubts, there is some manufacturing defects in the vehicle and
hence the problem continuous. For further checking let, I may be provided
with alternate vehicle till problem is solved. Please send your company
expert to sort out the problem. I may be replaced with new vehicle without
extra cost. Request for immediate action within 15 days.
