I gave my car for 1st paid service without any noise. When they delivered the car, there was a mild rattling noise. I complained to them stating there's a mild rattling noise. In the VW elite service center, they did multiple road tests and then adviced to replace link rod. I agreed. They replaced, but still the mild rattling noise persisted. They asked me to bring the car back on Monday and again did multiple road tests. They advised to now change the shock absorber and bushes. I refused stating that car is just 1 yr old and there is no chance of shock absorber going faulty in such a short time and that too in a car so durably built like VW Vento. I asked them to return the car as is. Now, after delivery the noise is even more louder and unbearable. I doubt the sanctity of service here making small issues bigger and charging for expensive spares. I raised a complaint with VW customer care and now they've again asked me to leave the car for service. I don't know what they're to come up with This is a very bad experience that I've neither had before with other cars I've driven nor heard of anyone grieving about. This is a serious concern. I've already spent 15000 in service in last few months. They are now asking me to change the shock absorber and bushes which is another 9500. By any means spending 25000 on a one year old car on maintenance is too much. I won't recommend VW Cars to anyone.

We have vw polo tdi diesel car since 3 yrs. Few days back my car start showing some warning sign on dash board. When we went to vw service centre ajmer, after full day check up they told us it is due to faulty diesel, CRDI system got damaged, costing around 2lacks. They referred us to jaipur Vw service centre. Afer 3 days full examination they told us there is CR system malfuction. Centre will ask for good will support. Then after 2 days they said, company is not giving good will support, bcoz its due to faulty diesel. You hav to pay 3lacs. Now I want to say, whats our fault, is it enough to say it is due faulty diesel, who will prove it, 500 cars are daily taking diesel from that centre, petrol centre is proving his reliabilty. On search I found multiple complaints of CRDI system of vw . Company"s car is not successful in india. Car of 7 lacs demanding 3 lacs in 3 yrs. Its their own defect, they shoud replace the part. Thinking to go in consumer court. If anyone have such complaint, plz contact on [protected]

Dear Sir, I have given my VW Polo Petrol version car for service at VW service centre, Kirti Nagar, Delhi for 2nd service. There was a problem in the Steering of the car as there was a noise in the steering when the car was parked. The problem was reported at the centre while handing over the car for service. The car was bought from Chandigarh dealer, the car is run for 24, 000 kms. approximately and April'2013 model. The car is registered in the name of my wife's maternal Grandfather, Sh. Devinder Kumar who is a resident of Sector-48A, House No-146, Mayur Vihar, Chandigarh. Now, i got a call form the service centre here in Delhi that the Steering Rack installed in the car is 2011 model which is shocking as the car was purchased in the month of April'2013 from Chandigarh. This is a case of cheating thereby misleading the customer and complete misrepresentation of facts. I do not intend to pay the charges for the replacement of the Steering Rack and also sue the company for misleading us. Please find a solution and get back. Regards, Rajiv Ghai [protected]

I went to sector 52 workshop with a compliant of very high noise from engine. They suggested replacement of clutch. I got it done with a very hefty charge of Rs. 55000, but problem of noise remains. Yes, clutch in bit smooth now. Some other work suggested, but satisfactory work not performed.

I own volkswagen passat since 2012, from the first day the service provided by volkswagen chandigarh is very poor, i met with an accident in this march car's front was totaly damaged and airbags were not deployed.. i could have died in this accident. i wrote to company about the non deployment of airbags, but the answer was not worthy. they said the car had to be smashed on some points where the senrors are located. it means you have to first decide before hitiing that where to get hit on car.. what a silly answer by company. they said it was not that powerfull strike on car. if it was not the how the repair bill was 4, 00, 000 rs/ (Four lac) ? the impact was on to the engine parts. every thing was replaced in front including engine parts. i am going to sue you in court anyway. and after i got delivery now the radiatior is leaking, coolent is leaking, ac is not working properly, and their are so many noises coming from engine. please look into the matter refund my whole amount or pay my accidental repair and make my car good again other wise ill call media n show the car to them and all the profs.. I had recently given my VW POLO(Which was just 1500kms driven) to fix a minor scratch on the door(Which costed me about 7k). And after the job i have received the vehicle with another scratches on the door and the side panel. I informed this this to the service guy as this was happened during the repair. He even refused to accept it as scratches and did some touch up with the paint. As i had to travel and it was late in the evening i didn't get a chance to raise this to their managers. But i managed to give this as feedback on the next day and no one responded regarding these issues.

In addition to this my key chain and parking stickers where missing from the car. They never showed any dignity to even check/apologize for the loses. Please be aware of this guys

I had booked a Polo (Candy White) from Global Gallarie Motors, Thane and the service was poor. When I was enquiring about the cost, Sales person used to give me less quote than what I used to tell him that I am getting this much discount from other dealer. Initially, the sales person told me that you will get loan approx 95% of the ex-showroom price and I made the downpayment (with exchange of my old car+10, 000 = 1L) and booked the vehicle. The day I gave my old car, they started treating me in a different manner. Sales person's friend/colleague desperately wanted my car and he did some settings, internally and took my vehicle (He is still using that vehicle). After few days, Sales person asked me to submit the documents for Loan process and I did. Five days right after this, Finance Person (Pradeep) told me that there is glitch in your CIBIL score and loan cannot be processed (My CIBIL score was more than 750 and not sure which customer's score he was referring to). This guy had no patience to talk to me properly and while conversing, he handed over the phone to sales person saying I am talking to customer. This is not the way he should treat the customers. They are not beggars roaming around the showroom to buy car. Later I thought of bring my own finance from other banks and decided not to proceed with these guys (Volkswagen Thane) and I went to other dealer in the city. So after one week, I made a request to cancel the booking and it took more than two weeks. Finally, got a call from Sales Head (Rupali) and she had no manners on how to talk to a customer. She was shouting in high pitch over the phone and was not ready to listen to my words. At the end, I got my money back on 9th October 2015. Basically, Volkswagen is a trusted and a premium brand, globally. Due to these people's behaviour VW brand is getting black marked and someone should seriously take action against these guys. If they cannot handle the customers and their queries, they should quit the job or shut down the showroom. This is not the way to treat customers and its completely NOT ACCEPTABLE. All, please do not book the vehicle in Volkswagen Thane branch as they do not care about the customers and their satisfaction. If you want the vehicle with satisfaction, then buy it from other dealers. Thanks, Sachin [protected]

His is my 5th complaint regarding my vento high line. I never thought that for the car which i waited for six months in anxiety thinking its a VW German world renowned maker there machinery will be outstanding but it turned out to be other way round. I would say my hyundai getz was far better than vento. It never gave me this kind pf trouble every week. Well i would like to highlight the history i must say for 4 years it never gave any trouble but as soon as the fifth year started it started troubling. 1. There was failure of fuel injector which was very difficult to locate and vw service station tried to play smart and wanted to extract money but that time Complaint was made and it was solved we paid a good amount and problem was solved thats what we thought. 2. This time it was different my ac vent was leaking i went to service station stating the some choke has happened now the manager s are smart they know female dont have much knowledge so lets put ten things so they told me ac vent check will take minimum 3 days also ur turbo hose is leaking intercooler leaking and things like that gave me an estimate of 26 k. This i told my husband who is abroad that this is what work shop has told after that a complaint was made online than action was taken immediately. The ac choke took ten minutes to fix but they maintained that turbo hose is leaking there is crack. I consulted my husband he told me get it done. Please note there was no sign on dashboard. 2. Sent my car for servicing paid the money within few day coil light started flashing and than engine light. As last time experience was bad i dint use the car called the customer care person he said he will send the concerned person which he did. 3. At this point complaint was made as earlier without any blinker we got the hose changed now the light flashing so after complaint the technician came he did some software run said mostly the problem is gone if light blinks than call. 4. The light started blinking next day called the guy he took the car said will take 3 days which is 5 actually so i called them up in evening to know the status they said told u mam atleast three days.next day nobody called i called them And asked then assigned service manager called and told me the another hose connected to turbo will be changed . I said earlier there was no problem now after changing which dealer suggested we are having problems. Than we said ok please get it resolved permanently take as much time and check throughly. Finally i got my car on monday that to i went to workshop to check they said they have tested car and will test it again so no problems occur. They changed the part. In evening i took delivery.paid the amount. 4. Today is Friday i again to the same status again light blinking. Well its not about money its about time its inconvenience. I m very disappointed with VW about whom i thought something else.Is this the reason VW having so man y problems. Also i refuse to pay any more bills

We have Vento Diesel Highline Regn No - DL 10CC 0890, one day some caution lights started glowing and the car was brought to the workshop, we were told that due to adulterated fuel, the tank has oxidized and metal pieces are found in fuel delivery system of your car, later we asked for samples of fuel for testing, the dealership refused and gave us a budget of 3 lacs to get the car repaired, after a lot of hassles the proposal was given that vw will bear the parts and you have to bear the labour charges which was around 40-45 k, no explanation was given afterwards, it was just a offer made to us and we had to get the car repaired as we are dependent on it, but we feel cheated by VW as no explanation were given by their end and they refused to give us the samples, either its a negligence at VW ends, their parts are not superior or its a fault at workshop end, and after 2000 km the light has started glowing again.

Tank oxidizing is not due to adulterated fuel. Oxidation takes place when steel come in contact with water and oxygen. Water may be found in the fuel tank after filling from the petrol station while filling fuel as evaporation is a natural process.

The manufacturer to prevent rusting/oxidizing do a process called passivation, the thickness of metals deposited on the steel give the quality of resistance to oxidation.

As far as metals pieces it should have been collected at the fuel filter.

We have given our car Volkswagen Polo(UP14BW 7148) for Servicing to the Atrica Automobiles Pvt Ltd D-197 Sec-63, Noida-201301. At the time we handed the car to them, there was no problem in the lock and steering. However, when we went for the delivery, they told us that the steering has got jammed and the key is stuck in the lock and the lock needs to be replaced. They are forcing us to pay the charges for the new lock and parts saying that it is a normal wear and tear. There was nothing mentioned in the Job Card issued to us at the time we gave the car for servicing regarding any problem with the lock. How can we accept to pay the charges for the issue has happened while the car was under their supervision. It has been almost a month since the car is lying at their premises and we have not received any proper response from their customer care as well except that our representative will get in touch with us. Their representative said that we can offer certain discount but the part will be replaced on paid basis only. I am not sure the Artica people are serious about resolving the issue.

                          Dear Sir,

This mail is regarding the poor service and management by the Volkswagen team.

I own a Diesel engined Volkswagen Vento, which I have given at one of your authorized service center- Volkswagen Delhi Metropolitan/ Frontier Autoworld Pvt Ltd in Delhi.

Couple of days back, my car was facing a problem of overheating as the engine fan had stopped working, so I had planned to visit VW to get it checked. My original fan had become faulty in April 2015 and was replaced by a new one by the same above mentioned VW service centre.

On the way to the service center to check the fan, my car's battery sign started blinking and then the horn & lights stopped and eventually the car wouldn't start. So, I got stuck at a red light quite near to where the VW service center is.

Upon calling VW service center, Mr Vinny Sharma, who is a sales manager there and has previously dealt with issues with my car, assisted me by giving me the phone number of a crane service which they have a tie up with.

After waiting for almost 2 hours, the crane-truck came to take my car up till the service center which was a mere 2 Km away from where my car had stopped.
The crane hoisted my car from the front end by placing a metal rod across the 2 front tyres and it took it till the VW center.

However, as the crane put down my car, I noticed there was engine oil which was dripping from below. Upon confirmation from Mr Vikas Lohia, another sales manager there, the chamber which contains engine oil, had got broken and has to be replaced now. The replacement for it as described on my job card is Rs 50, 000.

The crane service nor the management at VW are not ready to take up responsibility for what happened, even though it happened in front of them.

So, from the smallest issue of engine fan not working (which is under warranty for 2 years), I have landed into a huge problem and this problem has clearly been created by the fact that VW service centers do not have adequate quality or professionalism to deal with situations like these.

The Volkswagen service team are the first ones I contacted in the situation and they gave me the number for a company which they have a tie up with. Thus, the crane service provided by VW to 'assist me' has actually assisted THEM by damaging my car and now the service center is ready to bill me for replacing the part. That is indeed convenient.

Isn't it expected of a highly esteemed company like Volkswagen to have proper tie ups with crane service/ road side assistance? And if VW itself are providing me with the a crane service, aren't they liable for the damage it has caused to my car?

Our family has been faithful to this company for years now and we own 3 VW cars at home - namely an Audi A6 and a Skoda Octavia along with the Vento. I firmly believe that this sort of poor service and lack of responsibility can not be expected from a German Company and that too one of the biggest in the world.
Attached herewith are the picture of my damaged car and details of my car/ VW authorized dealer.

We feel we Trusting Volkswagen to help us out from the situation at the earliest.

Dear Sir, This mail is regarding the poor service and management by the Volkswagen team. Hi

My car no is mh12hz 5941.

While driving the car suddenly stopped in the midway. I called the navi mumbai vw serice team and asked for help.Instead of helping me the service lady asked me to bring the vehicle to the service center. With lot of struggle i somehow managed to get the vehicle delivered at vw navi mumbai center. In the first day itself it was identified to be the battery problem which was replaced some 6 months back only. They committed me that it will be delivered next day. Now its been 4 days till today, i havenot received the confirmed date on delivery of my vehicle. I am now doubting the technical capability of the resources at vw. This is just not acceptable that for a battaery replacement, somone has to wait for 4 days.

I need you to take immidiate action and get me vehicle delivered in the right condition.

                              Regards

Hello, Volkswagen Complaint number: CCR 31937 I purchased a New Vento (2015 model) on the 29th of August, 2015 from Frontier Autoworld Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon, India. Of course, as any customer would be, I was pretty enthusiastic and excited to own a piece of German engineering. Most short-lived period of happiness of my life. VOLKSWAGEN HAS SOLD ME A DEFECTIVE CAR. There are 3 defects - 1) The car's alignment is not correct. The car does not drive straight. This is even after I've spent a total of 9.5 hours over 2 visits to the VW workshop in Gurgaon. This is a Health and Safety issue and this can lead to an accident. 2) The car's steering wheel was not 180 degrees straight. It had to be dismantled at the workshop and put back. This is a manufacturing defect. 3) The horn does not work when pressed from the left side. It is only fair that Volkswagen replaces this car with a fully-functional new car. For a detailed account, continue reading below: I have raised a complaint with Volkswagen Customer care about this issue - Complaint number: CCR 31937 In a week from purchase of the vehicle, I began to notice that the car is veering towards the left when I drive straight. Odd in a new car, isn't it? I thought so too - and on the 8th of September, 2015, I took it to the Volkswagen workshop in Gurgaon - Frontier Autoworld Pvt Ltd. They took 4 hours (for alignment, really??) and then gave the car back saying it was fixed. Great. I tried it again and this time the car was pulling towards the right when driving straight. I took it to the same service center (Frontier Autoworld Pvt Ltd.) again on the 10th of September, 2015. They kept me there for 5.5 hours, fixing this and that, taking multiple test drives and finally gave it back to me. Turns out, even the steering wheel was not 180 degrees straight. They had to dismantle the steering wheel, and put it back. Now the horn does not work when pressing it from the left either. The alignment of the car is still not correct. The car still does not drive straight. I've now stopped driving this car because it is unsafe for me to drive. The horn does not sound and the vehicle alignment is not right. The steering wheel has been manually de-assembled and then put back by the Volkswagen workshop in Gurgaon. Does this mean that the Airbags will now not deploy in case of an impact? I don't know. With a car that has so many manufacturing defects, I cannot be sure. I feel cheated now because even after spending 10 Lac rupees on a new car, I cannot drive it. I have been sold a defective car by Volkswagen and it needs to be replaced by a fully-functioning new car. Is there anyone here who can help? Regards, Mohit Luthur

This is Tarun Bansal (From India) and I bought a New POLO Diesel car last month from Globus Cars, Gujranwala Town, Near Ashok Vihar, New Delhi (India) 110009. I got cheated by that dealer as before purchasing the car, they suggested me Rs. 33826, as the Insurance Premium of my car from Bajaj. I paid the same amount while purchasing the car. The same amount they even mentioned in my Sales Contract (Physical Copy). But when I received the actual policy from Insurance company, the receipt was only for Rs. 28633. That dealer showed me over prize of Insurance premium for Rs. 5193 and charged that amount while I was purchasing that car. I already have put several complaints with India Volkswagen customer care [Complaint No. CCR29744, raised on 06-Aug-15], but there is no relevant response till now. Even the dealer was trying to convince me that this is the commission game between Volkswagen and Bajaj Insurance company where customer should not bother. But If Volkswagen charged me Rs. 33826 for Insurance premium, then why I received insurance premium received for Rs. 28633. When I asked the same thing to dealer, then they said that they generally do the same thing with all the customers and nobody raised that issue till now. This is clearly a forgery where any one showed some another amount when the actual cost of that product or service is somehow different. Nobody knows that, in the same way, how much customer has been cheated by them till now. Note: I have all the physical proofs with me where increased Insurance Premium amount clearly mentioned. Along with this I have the actual insurance receipt. Feel free to contact me on +91-[protected]/tarun.[protected]@gmail.com

After giving my car for service on the 21st August 2015 in VW Downtown Sewri, it took roughly 4-5 days to get my car back after extreme poor levels of coordination by VW as usual. When I took the delivery, I get it home and realise the left side mirror assembly has been broken. I firstly called the service advisor Mr. Ashfaq of VW downtown service of Sewri to inform him this. He replies with the audacity that the mirror was already broken which was not the case. The mirrors were completely fine when I gave the car. Also, when they checked the car before I handed it over this was obviously never reported and I have the proof for that as well with nothing like this mentioned on the acknowledgment and estimate slip. Although, his senior Mr. Yogesh Pujari is a good manager, he is also clueless now how to resolve this as the people working under him are liars and have double standards. They never informed me that the mirror was broken until I discovered it when I come back with my car home. And has VW COMPLETELY lost their ethics and trust? They have tarnished their reputation in India with such high levels of cheating and fraud! If VW don't have my mirror rectified free of cost, I will be forced to send a legal notice to them from a criminal layer. Coz this is not the first time I have suffered from hands of Volkswagen. Buying a VW and overall experience of the car and service has been absolutely disgusting and depressing and I would not even recommend to buy anything from VW Downtown Mumbai. The service levels of Hyundai and Maruti are of a different league altogether and VW can never compete with them due to this level of cheating behaviours.

I bought my Vento in January 2016 MH01 CD 4989 and within 3 months the battery developed problem and the vehicle did not start. The Downtown workshop immediately blamed us that this was a misuse of the battery. I find that similar issue happened to another vehicle which was within the guarantee period.

Just after 4 months found the wheel base rusted when i opened it up for changing flat tyre. The Downtown showroom insisted that the rust was a surface rust where as my contention is that this is not so. The area manager of VW Mumbai also insisted the same and when I asked him if he had seen the problematic part, he informed that he had not seen. However, he stood by the Downtown technician. My personal complaint to the CEO and Chief India operations remain unacknowledged and unanswered. Feeling really cussed why I bought this car?

I have learnt a big lesson in my life 'never buy vw cars, never advice any body to buy it and if somebody is buying it stop him/her from the unending agony of owning a vw'. its been 5 months since i bought my vw vento automatic. my car met with an accident the very first day of buying when sent it for repairs to my utter shock i came to know that the car is not yet registered and my insurance claim was rejected. i contacted my dealer vw delhi north they kept on ignoring me for 10-12 days. i had to call them for more than 500 times but they would generally not pick up my calls. then when i complained to vw they started persuading the insurance com to allow my claim it took me than 20 days for my brand new car to get repaired.. i also saw that vw gurgaon where i sent my car for repair had mishandled my car and my car was having dents at many places which were not there when i submitted my car. my ordeal ended after a long 20-21 days when my claim was honoured. now few days back i sent my car for free checkup after clocking 7500 kms there was some noise in engine, service centre told me that my car will be delivered to me within 2-3 days as there is some problem in gear box. i was shocked by listening this as i was wondering how this car has started giving me troubles in only 7500 kms and what will happen for next 4-5 years. but still i submitted my car...again my next ordeal started its been more than 10 days since i submitted my car still they are saying that it will take another 2 days as the part was not available.. now i realise that i have committed a huge mistake and i ll have to pay for it for coming years also because i cannot even sell it as it's resale value is also not very bad.. i have completely been disillusioned by vw company and i will never buy it or advice any body to buy it.

                                        Dear sir/Madam,

we have purchased Polo vehicle from Nagole Volkwagen showroom on 5th June 2015. Excutive named Anthony Hector has promised us Seat covers, Teflon coating, Mud flops, Car cover, matting along with extended warranty(after negotiating with the company which is not mentioned in the copy attached). At the time of delivering the vehicle, the excutive has asked us to pay 4000 extra for extended warranty saying that company has agreed to pay only half the amount, which we did. After several follow up's they have provided us matting, car cover and mud flops only. on August 19th, after several follow up's the executives are confirming that they can't provide seat covers and extended warranty both. As promised we have requested them for seat covers and they are not bothered to hear us as the executive who sold the car for us left the company just 10 days before. we have been requesting the showroom people to justify us for seat covers. Failing which, i am requesting to take up this complaint and give us a justification. we are requesting them for what they have promised us during the purchase of the vehicle nothing more than than.

                                        Thanking you
