Hi

My car no is mh12hz 5941.

While driving the car suddenly stopped in the midway. I called the navi mumbai vw serice team and asked for help.Instead of helping me the service lady asked me to bring the vehicle to the service center. With lot of struggle i somehow managed to get the vehicle delivered at vw navi mumbai center.In the first day itself it was identified to be the battery problem which was replaced some 6 months back only. They committed me that it will be delivered next day. Now its been 4 days till today, i havenot received the confirmed date on delivery of my vehicle. I am now doubting the technical capability of the resources at vw. This is just not acceptable that for a battaery replacement, somone has to wait for 4 days.

I need you to take immidiate action and get me vehicle delivered in the right condition.

    Hello, Volkswagen Complaint number: CCR 31937 I purchased a New Vento (2015 model) on the 29th of August, 2015 from Frontier Autoworld Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon, India. Of course, as any customer would be, I was pretty enthusiastic and excited to own a piece of German engineering. Most short-lived period of happiness of my life. VOLKSWAGEN HAS SOLD ME A DEFECTIVE CAR. There are 3 defects - 1) The car's alignment is not correct. The car does not drive straight. This is even after I've spent a total of 9.5 hours over 2 visits to the VW workshop in Gurgaon. This is a Health and Safety issue and this can lead to an accident. 2) The car's steering wheel was not 180 degrees straight. It had to be dismantled at the workshop and put back. This is a manufacturing defect. 3) The horn does not work when pressed from the left side. It is only fair that Volkswagen replaces this car with a fully-functional new car. For a detailed account, continue reading below: I have raised a complaint with Volkswagen Customer care about this issue - Complaint number: CCR 31937 In a week from purchase of the vehicle, I began to notice that the car is veering towards the left when I drive straight. Odd in a new car, isn't it? I thought so too - and on the 8th of September, 2015, I took it to the Volkswagen workshop in Gurgaon - Frontier Autoworld Pvt Ltd. They took 4 hours (for alignment, really??) and then gave the car back saying it was fixed. Great. I tried it again and this time the car was pulling towards the right when driving straight. I took it to the same service center (Frontier Autoworld Pvt Ltd.) again on the 10th of September, 2015. They kept me there for 5.5 hours, fixing this and that, taking multiple test drives and finally gave it back to me. Turns out, even the steering wheel was not 180 degrees straight. They had to dismantle the steering wheel, and put it back. Now the horn does not work when pressing it from the left either. The alignment of the car is still not correct. The car still does not drive straight. I've now stopped driving this car because it is unsafe for me to drive. The horn does not sound and the vehicle alignment is not right. The steering wheel has been manually de-assembled and then put back by the Volkswagen workshop in Gurgaon. Does this mean that the Airbags will now not deploy in case of an impact? I don't know. With a car that has so many manufacturing defects, I cannot be sure. I feel cheated now because even after spending 10 Lac rupees on a new car, I cannot drive it. I have been sold a defective car by Volkswagen and it needs to be replaced by a fully-functioning new car. Is there anyone here who can help? Regards, Mohit Luthur

      This is Tarun Bansal (From India) and I bought a New POLO Diesel car last month from Globus Cars, Gujranwala Town, Near Ashok Vihar, New Delhi (India) 110009. I got cheated by that dealer as before purchasing the car, they suggested me Rs. 33826, as the Insurance Premium of my car from Bajaj. I paid the same amount while purchasing the car. The same amount they even mentioned in my Sales Contract (Physical Copy). But when I received the actual policy from Insurance company, the receipt was only for Rs. 28633. That dealer showed me over prize of Insurance premium for Rs. 5193 and charged that amount while I was purchasing that car. I already have put several complaints with India Volkswagen customer care [Complaint No. CCR29744, raised on 06-Aug-15], but there is no relevant response till now. Even the dealer was trying to convince me that this is the commission game between Volkswagen and Bajaj Insurance company where customer should not bother. But If Volkswagen charged me Rs. 33826 for Insurance premium, then why I received insurance premium received for Rs. 28633. When I asked the same thing to dealer, then they said that they generally do the same thing with all the customers and nobody raised that issue till now. This is clearly a forgery where any one showed some another amount when the actual cost of that product or service is somehow different. Nobody knows that, in the same way, how much customer has been cheated by them till now. Note: I have all the physical proofs with me where increased Insurance Premium amount clearly mentioned.         After giving my car for service on the 21st August 2015 in VW Downtown Sewri, it took roughly 4-5 days to get my car back after extreme poor levels of coordination by VW as usual. When I took the delivery, I get it home and realise the left side mirror assembly has been broken. I firstly called the service advisor Mr. Ashfaq of VW downtown service of Sewri to inform him this. He replies with the audacity that the mirror was already broken which was not the case. The mirrors were completely fine when I gave the car. Also, when they checked the car before I handed it over this was obviously never reported and I have the proof for that as well with nothing like this mentioned on the acknowledgment and estimate slip. Although, his senior Mr. Yogesh Pujari is a good manager, he is also clueless now how to resolve this as the people working under him are liars and have double standards. They never informed me that the mirror was broken until I discovered it when I come back with my car home. And has VW COMPLETELY lost their ethics and trust? They have tarnished their reputation in India with such high levels of cheating and fraud! If VW don't have my mirror rectified free of cost, I will be forced to send a legal notice to them from a criminal layer. Coz this is not the first time I have suffered from hands of Volkswagen. Buying a VW and overall experience of the car and service has been absolutely disgusting and depressing and I would not even recommend to buy anything from VW Downtown Mumbai. The service levels of Hyundai and Maruti are of a different league altogether and VW can never compete with them due to this level of cheating behaviours.
        I bought my Vento in January 2016 MH01 CD 4989 and within 3 months the battery developed problem and the vehicle did not start. The Downtown workshop immediately blamed us that this was a misuse of the battery. I find that similar issue happened to another vehicle which was within the guarantee period.

        Just after 4 months found the wheel base rusted when i opened it up for changing flat tyre. The Downtown showroom insisted that the rust was a surface rust where as my contention is that this is not so. The area manager of VW Mumbai also insisted the same and when I asked him if he had seen the problematic part, he informed that he had not seen. However, he stood by the Downtown technician. My personal complaint to the CEO and Chief India operations remain unacknowledged and unanswered. Feeling really cussed why I bought this car?

          I have learnt a big lesson in my life 'never buy vw cars, never advice any body to buy it and if somebody is buying it stop him/her from the unending agony of owning a vw'. its been 5 months since i bought my vw vento automatic. my car met with an accident the very first day of buying when sent it for repairs to my utter shock i came to know that the car is not yet registered and my insurance claim was rejected. i contacted my dealer vw delhi north they kept on ignoring me for 10-12 days. i had to call them for more than 500 times but they would generally not pick up my calls. then when i complained to vw they started persuading the insurance com to allow my claim it took me than 20 days for my brand new car to get repaired.. i also saw that vw gurgaon where i sent my car for repair had mishandled my car and my car was having dents at many places which were not there when i submitted my car. my ordeal ended after a long 20-21 days when my claim was honoured. now few days back i sent my car for free checkup after clocking 7500 kms there was some noise in engine, service centre told me that my car will be delivered to me within 2-3 days as there is some problem in gear box. i was shocked by listening this as i was wondering how this car has started giving me troubles in only 7500 kms and what will happen for next 4-5 years. but still i submitted my car...again my next ordeal started its been more than 10 days since i submitted my car still they are saying that it will take another 2 days as the part was not available.. now i realise that i have committed a huge mistake and i ll have to pay for it for coming years also because i cannot even sell it as it's resale value is also not very bad.. i have completely been disillusioned by vw company and i will never buy it or advice any body to buy it.

            Dear sir/Madam,

            we have purchased Polo vehicle from Nagole Volkwagen showroom on 5th June 2015. Excutive named Anthony Hector has promised us Seat covers, Teflon coating, Mud flops, Car cover, matting along with extended warranty(after negotiating with the company which is not mentioned in the copy attached). At the time of delivering the vehicle, the excutive has asked us to pay 4000 extra for extended warranty saying that company has agreed to pay only half the amount, which we did. After several follow up's they have provided us matting, car cover and mud flops only. on August 19th, after several follow up's the executives are confirming that they can't provide seat covers and extended warranty both. As promised we have requested them for seat covers and they are not bothered to hear us as the executive who sold the car for us left the company just 10 days before. we have been requesting the showroom people to justify us for seat covers. Failing which, i am requesting to take up this complaint and give us a justification. we are requesting them for what they have promised us during the purchase of the vehicle nothing more than than.

              To all India Service Head (Volkswagen India) 4th Floor, Silver Utopia, Cardinal Gracious Road, Chakala, Andheri East, Mumbai - 400099 As per my telephonic Conversation with Aarti Agarwal, Rishikesh and Krishna Kumar (so called floor manager) I had asked for the service head but I guess the company does not afford one. In continuation to my complaint No. CAL33773 Dt. 20/08/2013, CCR8243 Dt. 31/07/2014, CCR24149 Dt.31/07/2015 and CCR29463 dt. 01/08/2015. The issue that has arisen is after the replacement of the air bag unit after continuous emails and Telephonic conversation Mr Krishna Kumar was of the opinion that he had done me a favor by replacing the defective parts of the defective vehicle that was delivered to me. If the company is so prompt and up to the mark then how come each time I had to write long e-mails to get the work done from hopeless and useless service center. During the telephonic talk with floor manager he was asking the list of the Defective parts that were replaced by the company, instead of he telling me the parts replaced, he was asking me the list (what type of service managers and service centers has vw India employed and allotted is a big question). Thank you from the bottom of my heart for replacing all the defective and damaged parts that were installed in my vehicle so easily without any word from the neither service center nor VW India. Each time I wrote to the customer service department I did not receive any communication from VW India only email reply was that your query will be handled by VW Nashik as per German Standards. Also everytime the problems that were brought to notice were genuine problems and not self-created ones (some were serious ones as well) the company did not at any single instance say that there is problem in the vehicle and admit that the vehicle is defective. We are very frustrated with the problems we are facing with the vehicle, each time any work is carried out at the service centre some another problem arises in a few days (I think the service center people are tampering and playing with the parts and components of the vehicle), last time the rear side airbags were tampered( I had written about it to you) now this time after keeping my vehicle at the service centre for 3 days they have damaged the steering control unit. The service centre people don’t care what the customer faces they just want money. The problem that has arisen now after the airbag unit that was replaced last month that means that this problem was not faced by me earlier, I am not able to understand that how come after replacing the airbag unit the steering control is damaged and needs replacement until and unless there is fault at the time of installation of the airbag unit.( But there could be a high probability that the original part in my vehicle must have been replaced and installed in another vehicle as the Shreekripa Automobiles have a long history of changing and replacing parts of one vehicle to another), This one is not a guess earlier before replacing the so called air bag unit the showroom had installed the airbag unit from the demo vehicle and twice the service head Mr. Toshniwal had lied to me saying that it was a new unit, the same had been confirmed by Mr. Shah the director at the showroom. The steering control unit is a defective one or the airbag unit that is replaced is defective which has damaged the control unit. In both the situations I don’t think I need to pay for the defective or damaged part as I am not in possession of tools to open and to damage the parts or unit. Also the diagnosis of my vehicle was not done properly earlier, if it had been done properly then the unit would have also detected at that time only. The showroom does not have expert technicians who can handle critical and important parts of the vehicle. The only resort I guess in this scenario would be replacing the defective or damaged unit. Also my kind request to you is to ask the service centre to again diagnose the car properly and report if there are any defective parts left in the vehicle as we are not in possession of excess time from daily routine to report this issues to non-responding company executives. Hope the issue is resolved and a quality assurance check is performed to satisfy the customer, as he does not take the car free of the cost from the showroom. If cannot then please stop duping customers by selling defective vehicles and over the more downgraded services. Encl: a) List of Defective Parts Replaced till date 1) 1) One Pirelli Tyre. 2) 2) Battery 3) 3) AC Compressor/Valve. 4) 4) Starter 5) 5) Boot Lid spring. 6) 6) Airbag unit. 7) 7) Suspension part on 31/07/2014 b) E-mail Trail since year 2014, Work Order Copy and Invoice Copy of all job order.                 As I av booked a Volkswagen polo TDI Highline in Volkswagen chennai Abra motors private limited The sales person who sold the car to me is MS.Nirmala her service to the customer is very poor she arranged me a test drive 3 days after booking the vehicle and more ever she assured me that she will be arranging me driver for RTO REGISTRATION but she didn't arrange as on date she postponed for 3 times That is on 12th, 14th, 17th, and finally today's he is arranging as customer of Volkswagen am not satisfied with her service I will never prefers friends to buy any kind of Volkswagen cars from that particular showroom I hope you will take the necessary action thank you

                  Hi VW, This is regarding irresponsible of PPS service motors khajaguda hyderabad, Avinash the guy who take care car from insurance approval to delivery, made wrong promises of delivery time and keeping long time in the garrage.I requested him that i dont have other vehicle to commute to the office so he could take on priority steps to deliver as promised but he is failing and i guess he is not considering my request irrespective of several reminders.When i first time approach for the service 3 months back he kept the car for more than 15 days and did all the work on final day where there was no replacement of single particle of the body it was just repair.Aswell on the delivery time he did not bother how the car is in postion, the paint work which is still inside the bonnet as well no water wash the important thing i forgot that the POLO symbols letters are removed from the back side of the car while doing repair work and kept all the four letters in the glove which were not replaced and delivered the car. I feel pathetic service and irresponsible service from Avinash., Kiran.

                    I have given my wolkswagen Polo thrice For Repair Work in Wolkswagen VARANASI for Front left Side Window opening Problem as it is making Noise in opening nd closing . Every time The service Department Says that The Problem will be resolved itself And It doesnt. They are Very irresponsible N the wolkswagen dont even take A huge Step against them. Buying Wolkswagen Car Is the Biggest Mistake of my life And i personally Suggest Every Person That Never Even to Dream to buy wolkswagen cars in india because the entire company will Let u cry whole day and at the end u yourself will say " yeah Buying wolkswagen ws my biggest mistake of my life " IF I ACTUALLY RATE WOLKSWAGEN SERVICE I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE HALF STAR TO IT
                    This is so very true it has got worst Service in india And No one is bothered to Resolve the Problem If would be the Condition wolkswagen Will be Thrown out of the Country
                    They dont even Deserve half Star Of rating in after sale service

                      I have volkswagen polo comfort line disel car model Feb. 2012. In my car the Car lock is not working due that car is not able start. And the dealer and company saying that part is not available from 14 july 2015 to till now (04 Aug. 2015). And on date 04 aug. The dealer saying that they don't not when they are able to give my car back.. Due to this i am sufringvery difficulties in travelling. And Due to this i have travel in cab or other transports and lots of money is consuming due to this. Please help us in this problem we are suffering by car dealer and car company.

                        Myself I am Baju.A. My car (Polo TDI, Reg:No KL.16.G-7768) was break down on 20th July 2015 on the way to my office. The car was strucked due to broken of fan belt. I complained to the EVM company right away. they picked the vehicle with one hour. After the examination of the service experts at the service center they said "fan belt not available at the center and it can be arrange with in two days". After four days one the person called me and said the belt has come but the problem not rectified because the A/c compressor is complaint.
                        But the spare is not available in stock. What a service from Volkswagon???. Still I am waiting from last 10 days. Almost 200km I am travelling a day by the car for my business. 22nd July onward I am running with a rented car (Maruthi Zen Estilo). Last two days there is no contact from the company. What I have to do next.

                          I have Purchased a Volkswagen Vento Highline TSI worth approx. Rs, 12, 50, 000/- on road from Mumbai North Showroom Situated on Link road Mahavir Nagar, Kandivali West, "Volkswagen Mody Auto corp. Pvt. Ltd." In the month of April 2015 First Week the car was delivered to me not on the promised date by delayed by a week, After I took the car on a drive later I found that the car makes some odd noises from the doors, the service center told me its normal that the sounds from the door come and he put some plastic wrap on door inner walls to prevent the sound from coming he said its provided from company for this purpose. Secondly I observed that while my aircoditioner runs in a closed car, I get all the strange smells of the environment outside from the AC of the car even if there is a diesel vehicle in front of me the smell fills the car, I reported to the service center and sales team who sold me the car they said its normal for the car to get all the smell inside while running AC, Thirdly, When I''m turning the steering wheel there are squeeking sounds coming from the car, showed it to sevice center at North Mumbai they said we have to check the Strut pad and coils. Fourthly, this car is auto transmission and while driving suddenly the car gives big jerks like someone has banged the car or brakes have been pressed in emergency, It frightened me, I reported this to VW service center North mumbai, they said its a normal thing, nothing can be done about it. This all in a span of 3 months of purchase of the a Brand New Car, I have already mailed Volkswagen customer care, the service center, even the sales team in the first or second month of the delivery of the car, to take back this car it has this defect and replace it for me, but no response or revert regarding the mail from anyone. So after being helpless with my emails and talks at the Sales and service team I''m come to you for help if anything can be done or no for this same matter from your end.

                            The fuel tank door of Volkswagen polo car which is a plastic part painted in body color, it broke for no good reason while filling the tank. On approaching the company I got a reply that the part is not available at the store and an order is to be placed for the same, on inquiring about the price I was told it is approximately 700 to 800 rs. I kept my car covered and parked it as I wanted to avoid any mischief by pass byers. After repeated enquiries it finally arrived two weeks later. Now as I wanted to send my car for the fuel lid change I inquired about the charges and I was told the price of the fuel lid is rs 4919/- only. It is difficult for me to digest a plastic body part of 5" radius can cost rs 5000/- .this is simply a case of cheating on the part of a company of such repute. I am now compelled to drive my car in this condition, the photograph is attached with this complaint.
                            Happened with me too. The fuel tank flap broke off from the lid, perhaps by the petrol pump attendant. Called the agency, approximate price 2000 or 6000 after inspection. It is shocking why VW does not have locking mechanism to avoid unnecessary expenditure. I was expecting around 500, give and take few. Finally I used araldite, spent 45 rupees and the lid is fine now.
                            I have Volkswagen polo TDI 1.2 . My disel tank black cover was misplaced or stolen by petrol pump operator. I noticed it after 1 week on next refueling. When I visited nearest service center at Nashik city they told me that the price of the tank plug is about 4, 000 thousand rupees. I shocked after this hearing this price. I asked why this plug is so costly they told me that includes a breathing valve etc. But I think this is kind of looting by company it can't be that costly. The price of plug is not justifiable.
                            Please be do something and stop looting

                              Sold a defective car

                              My name is Kevinn Mariaadas. i bought a volkswagen new polo on 24/12/2014 form vidyut motors Pune. the process of purchasing the car in itself was so irritating as the sales staff didn't know the documents that were required and kept on asking me various document everyday. finally when we got the delivery, the vehicle began emitting black smoke the next day. the company accepted that they sold a defective car and so replaced the engine...

                              Lost all confidence of VW India. The New Jetta having got a good response across the globe is perhaps the worst here in India. My Jetta Diesel, 2.0L, Comfortline, Reg No WB02AA7990, purchased in Aug 2012, had the following :a. Three Remote Door locks faulty, one by one in the last 6 months; b.Consistent noise on pressing Clutch pedal; c. Consistent reverberating noise from AC vent. I am surprised that after selecting VW, known for its German Technology, this persistent problem and money drainage is going on. VW workshop in Kolkata has all the records.

                                I arshad Shameel custodian of volkswagen reg.no kl 11 AK 1213 here by state a very grave repair condition committed by your service center at calicut pavangad. My car was guarraged at your service center for simple missing problem on 14/7/15. The company people were not in a position to identify the defect when i presented the defect The vehicle was lodged for 3 days and on return more problems were deliberately created and now the car is not even in a running condition.On the whole i confess they have knowingly replaced some parts to pave way to this condition. NB: during returning from service station' car break downed then i called service center no body attended my phone call. At last i tried from other number that time they responded and then i asked " why don't you pick my call " then they told some excuses and they disconnected the call .bad service managment

                                  The Vento Topline+ (Petro) was purchased in April 2013 at Ranchi Showroom, Jharkhand. At present the vehicle is giving very poor mileage i.e less than 7Km/l even after servicing and this was brought to your notice earlier also. It never gives more than 7km/l in the town and on long run outskirts it gives around 7.8 Km/l. Hence, I feel that I have been mislead by your promises through your brochures and advertisements that vehicle will provide mileage > 11Km/l.

                                    i booked polo gt tdi in carbon steel colour on 3rd june and still i haven't heard back anything till now and when i ask the dealer i.e. in siliguri west bengal they tell me that its still not confirmed so what am i suppose to do ? if i don't hear anything within this month i.e. july end then i will cancel my booking and get some other brand car i thought vw would be great but the service sucks big time you all should check with all the dealers i don't know why they are taking so long

                                      Dear Sir / madam, I have given my car WB 02 AG 1545 in Volkswagen workshop. I received my car yesterday on 14/07/15. Evening i just start diving from my office along with my colleague . I just drove 20km away from my office, a harsh thunder sound came out, immediately I just parked my car and checked that my car rear windshield glass had broken.When i went out, it became clear that the window had burst from inside .The window had no scratches, nor had it been hit by anything . Its Just 6 month old car . Purchase date is 14/11/2014. From everything what i could see, the rear windshield literally exploded, there were no object in or near the car that could have hurt the window . How could this happen .I have already spoken to your service adviser and she said that company will not replace it as it comes under accidental damage, not under manufacturing defect so that for this I have to file the insurance claim. I have sent my car into your workshop. Kindly give an explanation for the same and replace it as soon as possible
