I own a polo bought in 2011 and due for service, service was due on 17/02/2015 since then i am not able to take my car out as it is say INSPECTION, i feel sorry for buying your stupid Volksvagon POLO and irresponsible dealer of vizag, now i should go for a consumer court to settle this issue.

    Gave my Volkswagen Polo vehicle with registration ID - RJ14CL0139 for normal paid service at PPS motors in Gachibowli, Hyderabad on 3-Apr-2015, further instructed to collect the vehicle on 6-Apr-2015. When I inspected the services vehicle, it had a 200cms long crack on the front wind shield which was not there when the vehicle was given for service (evident from the job card filled by Narsimha, the inspector). Further I was made to meet the GM of the centre who forced the reasoning of heat playing a part to getting the crack and forced me to cover the cost for a replacement through the car insurance and promised that the remaining amount would be borne by the service centre. The reason for the crack to occur is completely different to what the GM claims and has no reason to cover the same through the customers insurance. Please help resolve this issue at the earliest or would force me to approach the consumer forum with a solid complaint.

      I had purchased a Vento Highline Car 1.6 MPI (MT) on 20.4.2011 from M/s Volkswagen Ring Road, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi bearing No. DL 8C NA 5454 bearing Chasis No. WVWC11600BT045741- Engine No. CLS 064736 after taking Car Loan from my employer i.e. Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Noida, UP. After that, it was being serviced regularly from your authorized workshops. While coming from Karnal to Delhi on 30.3.15 on the way to Panipat, the radiator got damaged and the collant addidtive got leaked. Due to this, the car engine did not get started. After contacting Volkswagen service centre at Panipat, they informed that the radiator got damaged and be replaced. After replacing new radiator and other coil, plugs the car did not get started. My car is parked at PP Autotek Pvt. Ltd., Near Toll Plaza, G.T. Road, Panipat. They informed me that the complete base engine will be replaced. It is stunned to note that due to radiator damage on the high way how such major damage occurred. It is beyond imagination. Since this car a world renowned, keeping in view, I purchased the said car. But in case due to small radiator problem how the complete base damage/melt due to overheat of vehicle can be happened. The workshop Manager informed me that for replacing the complete base engine, an amount of Rs. 4, 25, 000/- ( Four Lac twenty five thousand) would be involved for such damage. It gives wrong impression to others also while narrating, such happening about such incident, to my colleagues, friends, etc. In case such harassment is being faced by the customer, then why this renowned company is making such car whose radiator is of substandard quality. Due to this small radiator problem, a major problem is occurred. Such contention does not suffice to anybody. You are requested to please advise me and the workshop manager at his Mobile No. [protected]. Since the cost of this car at present is Rs. 4, 50-, 000/-, therefore, question does not arise to spend Rs. 4, 25, 000/- for getting the said car repaired with huge amount. Hence, you are requested to please advise them to get such fault repaired with utmost satisfaction, so that, the reputation of your company should not be tarnished. AS ADVICED BY COMPANY AFTER TAKING THEIR TIME TO CHECK AND VERIFY WE AGREED FOR ALL REPAIRS AND REPLACMENT EXACTLY WITH NO COMPROMISE.             Dear Sir. my name is vishnu am owing vw polo red new model purchased 6 month before.Am a nri working in kuwait at the delivery time am not able present here so my parents and brother have gone, this complaint is regarding the paint defect i found rear left quarter there is some some bubbles that means its blisters its paint defect creating some dip holes while noticed by myself i have informed to sales personnel and service personnel they states that we don't know any thing about that and i have shown them the paint over spray spots in rear wind shield.its damn sure some painting was carried out by someone and it was not done properly and there is some area paint is fading out also. 2. Spare bulb package is missing till delivery. They did not programmed my vehicle well ie ii cant lift up my wipers up its been blocking by the hood. i need the resolution to the above issues

                My experience with VW Polo This car was purchased by my hubby for me in December 2013. The features we liked Sturdiness Sleek design Mileage But our honeymoon with POLO ended with a bad note and it’s ongoing Within 3 months of its purchase we had to get the steering column replaced b’coz of strange sounds coming from the steering when the vehicle was turning. Apple Motors, Outer Ring Road, Marathahalli, Bangalore happily obliged. Within a year again a visit to the service centre became necessary – this time the air bag indicator was always in the ON mode. This time my husband met 2 senior guys of VW to discuss. This time too Apple Motors rectified this (not in the 1st attempt though) Last week (after a year and 2 months ) the clutch plate has given away. Being a ‘lady’ driver that I am, the immediate response from Apple Motors guys was “the car was not driven properly. It was driven on half clutch. It’s completely driver’s fault. The entire unit has to be replaced and the cost Rs 35, 000 only.” What does that mean? Here I would like to bring to the notice of all MCPs at Apple Motors that women drivers also know when to take their foot off the clutch. I have been driving since 2001 and have driven FIAT Uno, TOYOTA Innova and MARUTI Swift (this one I’ve driven for 7 years). Don’t tell me how to drive. With our slow moving, terrible city traffic, replacement of clutch is not a new thing but does it happen soon after a year? Abroad it’s a popular car. When it comes to India why do all these cars become like this? Doesn’t VW parent company do any quality checking here? Is our POLO (the one that we purchased) a defective piece? One with a manufacturing defect?? VW ... Are you listening?

                  My car NO TN 58 AB8880 had failure in single injector . While asking chennai service center they told about it and also said that we must change all the 4 injector and in madurai (where the car been purchased). I told that within 25000 KM injector has been failed so i'll not pay money and you must take responsible for this. They said we'll do and they changed only one injector. We dont have proper response from them further. I kindly request you to contact ([protected]) this number.

                    Dear Sir, I had my vento serviced in volkswagen service station Tirunelveli, for an accidental work. Look at volkswagen's service at Tirunelveli. It's a shame. Coordination - below par Customer support - worst Responsibility - nil There is no official to check final inspection. Service advisor haven't even check whether the rear fender liner has been fitted in. Reason for all this (they say) is shortage of enough labours. They have charged for interior cleaning but it's not even at the condition what I gave. Paint splatters still on rubber linings Not a proper delivery too Service advisor was bold enough to challenge me to take the complaint to his manager, who left the place when argument begin. So I'm taking this complaint to your portal. If you are not providing the least better service to us, why are you charging that much amount. I could have approached a second rate local service center for such service.

                      On 23rd march after driving back to home from my office, I parked my car and again came back to go somewhere and the car didn't start. I waited for the morning and called the road side assistance then they tow my car and took to their workshop and after examining found out that the fuel line and fuel pump needs to be replaced as my car was under warranty period they were replaced free of cost. Next day I got delivery of my car and in night my both headlights didn't lighten up. Next day I took again to their workshop and they told me that the switch would be replaced. VOLKSWAGEN the so called German brand needs to maintain their prestige in INDIA, I Want my car to be scanned properly and checked for any more defects which you have placed in my car My number is - [protected]

                        Dear Sir/Madam, I have been customer of Volkswagon from past 4yrs, but the recent service incidents have been making me the detractor of the brand. Here is a scenario, my Volkswagon vento car was purchased in Hubli, Karnataka. My car had a problem reason being there was kerosene mixed in diesel which affected the car eventually. When car was taken to service centre of Hubli, Karnataka, we were told to change air filter of a car and was billed for Rs.24thousand which I have bill for the same and were assured of car working properly.After a month again same problem reccurred and when I took a car to showroom was told no such problem wit a car and everything is fine with it. But today my car is having a same problem and service centre of Hubli have estimated Rs.2lakhs for repair. My concerns are 1.yes it was our mistake where we unknowingly got fuel refilled which had kerosene mixed in it, but why was that not rectified when the car was taken twice to the showroom with same problem 2. And because of which I am given an estimation of 2lakh rupees for repair, which I think could have been avoided if fixed earlier Even me being a marketing manager would not accept such kind of service lapse and its disheartening to see this happening with brands like this, obvious consequences will be on its way wit me personally being the detractor of Volkswagon or its subsidiary companies Request you to pls find a solution for this ASAP Regards Praveen Sr.Manager Citibank, Bangalore

                          The To, The customer care executive Volkswagen Mumbai Sub: grievances for my car VW polo MH01 AV 3085 Sir / madam I would like to bring to your notice about my VW polo 1.2 CR high line purchased in October 2010. There was a MI light and heater light coming up on cluster for which I had taken the car to nearby authorized service centre Shaman cars pvt ltd Mumbai 15 on 11/2014 vide repair order no DS0021029 and after repeated calling the service engineer at the workshop, I was told that there is a fault with the pressure converter which needs to be changed and have given the consent for the same . Then on the day of delivery of vehicle, I was told that there is a fault with the EGR and as the part is not available, I was asked to take the car and bring it back as soon as they receive the part from company in the workshop . The problem of MI LIGHT heater light continued to be there Inspite of changing the pressure converter and was waiting for the call from workshop about the arrival of part . But to my surprise, I did not receive any call from the company and after repeatedly calling the service engineer, finally I was told that part has come and to get the car for replacement of part and therefore I gave the car to workshop on 17/12/2014 vide order no DS0022148 and received the delivery on 23/12/2014 allegedly with the replacement of EGR which was done as a warranty replacement as per the service engineer . However during delivery of the vehicle, I did not recover the old faulty EGR and also not mentioned in my invoice . Again after few days, the MI light started glowing and gave the car back to service centre on 7/2/2015 and was told by the service engineer that we need to scan the engine to know the fault . After keeping the car for 5 days in the workshop and repeatedly calling the engineer all these days, I was told that there is fault with EGR again this time and needs to be replaced which will cost 48000 onwards . I was shocked to hear the version of engineer as I am facing the same problem for last 3 months and Inspite of replacing the part by the company, within 1 month the same problem has surfaced for which company is taking no responsibility. I told him to replace the part on warranty basis as there is always a warranty of any spare parts whether it is paid or under warranty for at least 3 months . So after communications with the company, the service engineer has again replaced the EZR COOLER on good will basis and delivered the car on 16/2/2015 . The car worked properly for few days but again on 5/3/2015, the MI light started glowing and I took the car back th Shaman motors . I was told to keep the car in service centre for diagnostics and was told by the service engineer that there is fault in EZR AND injector which needs to be replaced. I have my consent for the same and on 13/3/2015 after thorough checkup allegedly by the service engineer with 50 kms trial, I was told to take the car back . Again it worked for few days and on 23/3/2015, barely 10 days after the delivery, the same problem started and once again I took the car to shaman motors, who scanned the car and said that there is fault in wiring of EGR and the car needs to be kept in the service centre . I am totally disappointed with the king of service provided by the Shaman motors Sewree, for the same complaints I have give my car for repairing 4 times in as many months and kept the car for almost a months duration in the workshop and spent 18000 rs without any results . I was not expecting this type of ordeal from a reputed company like VW . So I request the authorities to look into the matter on urgent basis and get back to me as early as possible with the solution, failing which I will be compelled to take further action .                           I am facing the same problem.vw is extremely bad in service.they will not contact you even after filing a complaint and receiving a e-mail from vw that they will contact you within 48 hours..worst worst worst service ever.even maruti is better then vw..not at all proffessional behaviour..such a shame that such a worldwide reputed company is ruining their name and reputation in india
                          I am also facing the same problem with Volkswagen Deccan service Center st a Hyderabad. Just keeping the vehicle fir 3-4 days and giving back with same problem and without cleaning the car
                          Absolutely bad service They said EGR has to be replaced and it will charge around Rs 55000 and I need to pay Rs 30000 as advance to get the part Absolute nonsense

                            This is regarding my car polo DL12C3232 AC vent the window is broken from long time and I had register a complaint earlier and got a call from Volkswagen that it will be replaced on FOC basis as it is a manufacturing defect.Today I had sent my car at frontier auto world pvt ltd and there Mr Surender Singh had returned my car saying we don't have any such information.Its been 2 years that I am struggling for this and sorry to say that Volkswagen is very poor at its services and customer satisfaction.                               I bought a Polo new version on 31st July 2014. Reg No TN12D2865. Now the clutch and flywheel is gone and it has to be replaced. They are telling the reason o[censored]sage. I am driving for the last 12 + years and I will not give the car to driver or anyone else. It is single handed so far and I have with me currently 2 more cars (Maruti and Toyota ). No need to tell me how to use it. As I am not getting proper response from the dealer I want to talk with Volkswagon directly and hear from them. Moreover it isn’t even 8 months since the purchase and It is a manufacturing defect I need a good response from Volkswagon and hope you will replace the clutch and flywheel. Even I have availed your full AMC and both HDFC and Bajaj Insurance.

                                sir, ihave purchased polo on 20/10/2012, now i am facing so much of starting problem, at the start of the day is starting good but i[censored] stop at for while after going to about 100 km it becoming very difficult for me to start again, in the middle of the journey iam helpless, ihave contacted for roadside assistance, but they told me huge price for taking of my vehicle to the nearest service station ie.at vizag but there no service statation at vizag, they gave me a nasty suggestion that i have to go to guntur or bhubeneswar.it is very shame on volkswagon company to establish a servy at vizag .now a days many companies coming to interiror places and establishing service centers but day by day ur company is degrading .then what is the fun in buying ur vehicles i[censored] donot provide service. suggest me whetre do iget service to my polo. chasis no is wvwk126xdto19698. i will tell every corner and all nerreast and my friends that nobody buy volkswagon vehicle eventhough it is good its service is useless. i[censored] continue this saga u will be at the bottom shortly . giving advertisments in news papers is not enough, maintaince good relations with custermors and best service are also carries a lot in market existance.waiting for ur reply at the earliest. email id is [protected]@gmail.com

                                  When I was changing the tire the jack fell out after it I called to the people for the insurance and they arrived and tried to change the tire and happen the same incident the jack fell out again. The jack for the Venture has a bad design and it is a safety alert, I need have a conference with the people in VW India in order to explain better and request the corrective action.

                                    Dear Sir, Trust you're doing well. I'm an owner of Vento Comfortline Diesel Model Car of your company having Registration Number- HR 12 U 6266. I got my car serviced on 6th February 2015 from your Dealership at Rohtak, Haryana. It was second Service of my car. I work in Delhi which is around 80 Kms from Rohtak. The card started giving on the very next day of getting the same serviced. The indicator was blinking refering to trouble in the Engine Management System. I called the Service Office at the Dealership and he told me that its a small trouble and suggested me to either bring car back to Rohtak or take it nearest Volkswagen Service Center. He also assured that car will not breakdown at all. I took it to nearest Service center at Moti Nagar, Delhi. They got it checked and told me there was some issue with the Air Filter which they have reset and it will not give trouble. The indicator referring to Problem with Engine Management System again started blinking the next day. I thought to take it back to Rohtak Service Center but wasn't able to take leave because of Year End Work pressure. One fine day when I was driving to my office, the second indicator referring to trouble in Engine Purification System, lit up. I slowly drove my car to my office. That prompted me to call the Customer Care to complain about the service, who instead of giving help referred my case to the same service Center at Rohtak. Rohtak delaership called me and asked me to bring car to Rohtak Service Center and once again assured me that its a small problem and will be rectified in 15-20 minutes. I showed my apprehension to theme that car might breakdown while driving 80-100 Kms to Rohtak. They assured me that nothing will happen as this is a small problem. I took my car to the service Center on Saturday, 14, March 2015. After Checking they told me that there was some wiring and connector issue as current is not passing through properly and the same will have to be changed and cost will be approx. Rs. 1600. I got a call again in the evening from the service Center that they have changed the connectors but problem still persists and i will have to leave my car with them for one more day. I got a call this morning from them that they have found out the fault and there is wiring issue in the engine and 3 wires needs to be changed and the cost of the same is Rs. 6000. I want to understand that if there was wiring issue in the engine then how come connectors were replaced on the first day. I'm highly dissatisfied by the Service provided by Volkswagen India. Firstly, my car which was fine develops a snag just after getting the same serviced. Secondly, the service Center people kept assuring me that problem is small, then how come a small problem is being diagnosed after keeping vehicle for 2 days and cost of small problem is Rs. 6000. I don't know but I feel service was done by incompetent people and car developed problem during the Service. My car has clocked only 32, 000 Kms and if the car develops wiring issues in short time, then I really doubt the quality of product manufactured by Volkswagen. If a customer has to shell out Rs. 20, 000 Bucks for every service then I think its better to use Taxis and rather than buy a Volkswagen Car. I'm a loyal customer of Volkswagen. I have two Volkswagen Cars, One Vento and One Polo but I somehow feel cheated now. I bought Volkswagen Cars because of the brand trust and quality of Cars your make but I don't think its the case anymore. I use to have Maruti Esteem Car before this and trust me I didn't had any major issues with the car and I clocked 1.5 L Kms with that car. I was thinking of bettering that experience but in turn I'm disappointed. Even your customer care is of no help as they redirected my complaint to the same service center instead of taking any action against them and helping me out by getting my car rectified at the nearest service station.
