Volkswagen India — Faulty repairs | |||||
I have a polo car and 2 months back the car suddenly stopped middle of highway, i had to get it towed and on inspection, it was found that clutch, gear flywheel etc. has given up. on checking the reason for so, i was told its wear and tear and since the car has run for more than 35000km, it is fine. we agreed and paid the required amount for repairs. now again not even in 2 months, the car has broken down and we have similar problem, where everything is being burned up. Now this time, we get a new reason stating that driving is not proper. the car is being driven by the same person all this time. so they are again asking a payment of close to 40K for repairs. i have two concerns, first of all they have not been able to find out the actual cause of the problem and also the repairs done first time were not upto mark and it again had a similar problem. it seems the service center is taking advantage of the customers. No it is not resolved. The technical queries are still not resolved and not answered even by VW Germany citing that they are too far away from India. I am driving the vehicle with fear of Sudden Power Loss problem to arise at any time. Very unsafe drive on this VW vehicle. Repeated complaints but nobody cares.
