we have bought one AC of Voltas and within a year we are facing lot of problem.

on first service we have faced that GAS is not there.
on second service we have faced some part is not working.
on third service we have found some trip problem.

we have spoken with them and now they are saying it is not in warranty period and they will charge for the same but from the starting we are facing problem and only 12 to 15 times in a year we have used this AC.

I have bought Vertis VOLTAS 2 ton split AC from "DHURIA AND CMPANY 169 RED SQUARE MARKET HISSAR". Within a few time, i have a problem in its cmpressor. On complaining to same, he did not respond for many days and on calling again, he is asking for Rs 4000 to change the compressr Does voltas have such bad dealers who piss off their customers?

Voltas mini magic inline el water cooler cum dispenser. It is out of warranty and the whole of winter we tried to get the hot water working. Now the dealer took away the cooler on April 12, 2010 and today 9th June 2010 after umpteen reminders the machine is back with us.

It looks like it has been in the junkyard as they have not repaired it. It has been returned in a battered condition with black tape around it. the inside racks and the short shelf outside is also missing. the machine is back as they say the heating element is not available and Mr Omprakash was kind enuf to tell me to use atleast the cooling part for the summers.

Please buy any product but NEVER a VOLTAS.
NO SERVICES FROM VOLTAS
Two years ago, i installaed one split AC of 2.0 ton from Voltas. Its sealed system is still under warranty.
This ac stopped functionning this month and i lodged the service request on Voltas centralised service system / call center on Jun 21, 2010 ( complaint number 10JU2100149). The first time i was told that the service technician would attend within 24 working hours. No body visited., I started following up with the call center giving reference to my complaint number, everytime i am told that the technician is visiting today.

We donot expect the poor service support from the TATA group compny, who claim to have INDIA KA AC.
Yes, they truly have INDIA KA AC-----No service Support. The other MNC have very quick service backup and truly respond back within 48 hours.

This is the status of VOLTAS Service in Ghazibad Finally, i am being forced to get the repairs done in open market, inspite of having warranty.

My strong recommendations... dont get carried away by INDIA KA AC...DONOT BUY VOLTAS AC - or else have a failed AC in peak summer...INSTEAD buy some brand which gives good after sales...GODREJ is one definitely...

You are requested to send your Service Engineer at the following address to look into the system as it is not working and in idle condition. It is under warranty.

my name is ravinder chaudhary from aali village i have a volts split ac. it cannot work properly and i complain in service center and give to me a call no. is 11AP2908112 & customer I.D is c2078082 on 29/04/2011 they come and say to me that it cooling coil has changed they take money and cannot come again i call him again-2 but cannot any response and say it comes after 3-4 days after 3-4 days they again say 3-4 days

AC working fine, warranty extended upto July'12
VOLTAS is just not bothered about consumer complaint of my 2 month old water cooler, the compressor of which got burnt.
I am struggling from pillar to post across different levels of Voltas customer services BUT nobody seems responsible enough to fix the problem quickly (pending since last 11 days) or to respond.

This is an indifferent and worse attitute of the company towards its consumers...

I have bought Voltas because it is a brand, its after sales service, which I heard, superb, but this does not seem.
can any body please look into this at top priority.

    what is the reson? plse tell me sir/madam.you don't talk to me.suddenly reject your sim card.

      Last year our office purchased Three A.C of above brand from Refrico Lucknow.Out of three one is alway giving problems for which several complaints were made but no signifcant result reached to us. The attend us but the outcome of their is only attendence.
      Not only above, they did not given any Free Service even after the claim of Company.
      This type of approach of a business concern is not appriciated and attracts the attention of customer to go to the Court of Law .

      Last year in the month of June'2015, I have purchased a split Air Conditioner (the biggest blunder I have made) and later reinstalled at my new flat at Barisha Sakherbazar, Kolkata-700008. This is the fourth Air Conditioner, though the first of Voltas make, I have purchased in my life and I had a bitter & never to forget experience with the service till date with this latest one. The services so far have been rendered by your outsourced agency, M/s Climate Control Technology, 241/5 D.H.Road, Kolkata-700034.


      As per my service request vide number [protected] dated 24.03.2016, this Air Conditioner was reinstalled with installation charges of Rs.1500/- on 27.03.2016. But unfortunately there was no cooling effect felt at the very time & accordingly requested your representative (Mr. Akib-[protected] and Mr Rahul-[protected]) to check. But, the representative assured us to get a perfect cooling effect after sometime. They left our flat with job number CCT/14/19421 dated 27.03.2016. Please note here that in spite of having several available positions, the outdoor unit was installed by the representative at a relatively difficult location (as reported in writing by your other technicians visited later) to access (which they were not capable enough to understand before installation and later tried to shift the responsibility to me not for technically efficient enough to understand the requirement of installation of AC – isn’t it funny enough that the technicians of your reputed brand basically depends only on the technical understanding of the customer). Furthermore, the outdoor unit of the AC was actually placed at a different location then what the undersigned asked your representative.

      But, the cooling effect never came to our room where the AC was installed. Accordingly, another complaint was lodged by myself vide #[protected] dated 15.04.2016. Representative from your office visited my flat on 18.04.2016 and refused to do anything as because of ‘Faulty Installation’. They did not even bother to touch my AC to check. On my request, the representative contacted their Manager, Shri Bibhas Roy-[protected] and he assured to send some other technicians to do the needful on 19.04.2016. As per the Job Sheet #CCT/14/22922 dated 18.04.2016, there is no Gas in the AC. The engineer took some pictures of the outdoor unit to report to Shri Bibhas Roy.

      On 19.04.2016, another representative (Sk Samsher Ali-[protected]) came & refused (vide Job#CCT/14/23178) again because of the faulty installation. According to them, they only look after technical issues, not any installation issue. The engineer again (!!!) took some pictures of the outdoor unit to report to Shri Bibhas Roy. My question here is – why Shri Bibhas Roy sent this kind of representative in spite of knowing the requirement of the customer?? Furthermore, Mr.Bibhas roy although admitted their faulty installation but never proposed a cost free rectification whereas I already have paid duly for the service of installation alongwith purchase of essential equipment like angular clamps and wrapping tapes as long as 12 feet, as much as guided by your visiting technician. He expressed his incapability to send technicians who are knowledgeable to install such mere outdoor AC unit but boasted of having a team of men who can only administer gas if required, that too only if the outdoor unit is placed at a convenient location according to the taste and preference of the technician. He also provoked us to lodge a complaint to his hierarchy and respected Consumer Court as he proudly claims that there shall be NO resolution from a company like Voltas!

      The representatives visited on 18.04.2016 & 19.04.2016, were primarily refusing to provide even a job sheet. Is this the job culture you maintain in a reputed brand like you??? Since the product is under warranty and will not fetch any revenue is the reason for such pathetic after sale service to your customer??? Because of your ‘efficient’ staffs, the job is still pending!!! Being a working couple, we have already spent 2 days leave from our respective office each to accommodate your representative in last 4 working days. I have experienced that all members of your group who are interacting with customer, do not have any value of words and they don’t bother/hesitate to confirm/assure any date/time to us without even thinking the consequence of the same!! All we have experienced are only sweet coated false commitments and instant apology ready on lips only with no real effect as such.

      One more noteworthy and unique observation in this context, I would like to mention that your men are not only courageous liars but gutsy enough to automatically resolve any complaint virtually only and immediately ask for feedback, all after direct refusal to do the work by admitting their incapability of attending such problems and openly declaring that they are sufficiently paid staffs who dare not perform yet remain under your shelter.


      Please also note that Mr Abhishek Sau-[protected], who is supposedly the owner of M/s Climate Control Technology, after repeated requests did not bother to attend our phone calls and physically rejected the call time and again, though reported by Mr Kaushik Mondal-[protected], junior to him, that he was physically present in front of him in their office. I never expected that a valued customer with his problem, after being harassed continually over a week can threaten a unit head so much so that he has to reject phone calls so unethically.


      Now, we have lost all hope to get a result out of it and we wish to donate this AC to you only for better usage!!!


      Would also request your esteemed organisation not to market such costly consumer goods with so poor level of after sale customer service. It actually creates a negative impact on your customer base and forces us to believe that the company is making the customer fool. We, a middle class customer of India, don’t purchase any consumer good with this level of service even within the warranty period. I also understand that these services have been outsourced by you; but at the end of the day, we are YOUR customer, who are supposed to be catered by YOU only directly/indirectly!


      Would request you to please revisit your organisational structure in this front & do a self-introspection for your betterment. Please do not misuse the brand of TATA along with you.

      Please note, if there is no support for me from your end, I may not be gutsy enough to buy any more product of Voltas ever in my life in future.

        I am sonia , I purchased voltas 1.5 ton vertis platina Air Conditioner from sales india (Bapunagar) dtd.06.04.2011. After a month dtd.25.05.2011 loanged a complaint of water dropping from front side of A.C. A service person visited on 26.05.2011 he said gas leakage from comprasser. next day another person came and said that leakage not found from outdoor unit. dtd.31.05.2011 they pickup out door unit to their service center. after that we continiously contact with customer care deppartment , service center & dealer but their is no feed back about my A.C. Now today is 06.06.2011 and I am very disappointed with Company.

        I have a requested from company kindly solve this problem ASAP.

          I would like to file a complaint against voltas service center in sri ganganagar- B block.
          my AC compressor was not working well i.e was not cooling the room.
          i had reported to your service center and they took my AC saying that it will 2-3 days.
          Now, its 22nd day that they have not returned my AC. moreover, they are not giving any satisfactory answer to us, every time they say parts are coming from jaipur , and they do not have so much decency to apologise for their mistake but on contrary they are saying you can take your AC back. this is not the right way to treat a customer. it will affect your sale and reputation only.
          looking forward for a favourable and early reply!!!!!

          voltas AC 1.5ton — Bad after sales service

          My name is nitin I bought an air condition in year in 2008 which worked properly for 9 months and after that its not worked properly.So i registered a complaint against it they sort out the problem on the temprory basis and they did't solve the problem properly and when i raise the issue they did't treated me in a good manner. After 1 year that mean in the april,year 2010. when i registered complaint against air condition. they refused my complaint.
          I am suffering with this problem for last 2 months and they not even taking seriously this matter.(Voltas complaint No. is -10AP2204259)

          VOLTAS 1.5 TON A.C. — Unsatisfactory after sales service

          Dear Sir,

          Please note that we had purchased split A.C. of 1.5 Tonn power from The Gyan Agancies, Jodhpur, Rajasthan dated: 30/04/2008. From the date of purchase we never got proper aftersale services. inspite of our regular reminders your agent is not attanding the complain. We are sorry to inform but, their attitude is very rude.


          We are looking forward to you for a good and immediate action for the same and provide us you best assistance in Jodhpur for repaire the A.C. as soon as possible.

            Dear All , I had purchased Air Conditioner from "Das Enterprises" , Kalka Ji , New Delhi -19, (Date - 17th Apr'11--Bill # Book 3 , Sr#000144) under finance scheme, all required documents had been submitted to dealer . During installation of AC by Das staffs "warranty card of AC and operation manual" were not found, the same was informed to dealers’ staff came for installation of AC. him, as well as , dealer also over the phone. Further, 5 times, i went to dealer for such complaints, however after so many complaints, no action was taken by dealer. I had not received warrant card and operation manual till date. I had now left the hope that i will get these documents from dealer.

            Request you to please help me to get the problem resolve.

              Sub: Complaint Regarding Voltas Vertis Air conditioner (Complaint No – 11MY2300249)

              Mr. Nevrekar,

              I had purchased a 1 tonne Voltas Vertis air conditioner on October 10, 2010 from Vijay Sales in Andheri West. Once installed, the machine did not cool and there was a problem on some circuit board. I was told it would take 3-4 days to replace, which angered me and after tracing ASMs, etc the machine was fixed within 24 hours.

              This was my first bitter experience with Voltas, considering a faulty piece of equipment was sold to a customer and no effort was taken to fix the same at the earliest.

              On May 23, 2011; I called your toll free number to complain that the air conditioner was not cooling. It was collected the next day and I was informed that there was a leakage and that the air conditioner would be brought back within 2 days. When it did not come back, I called and was informed that the cooling coil was not working and that it would take another 2 days. 2 days passed, and since I didn’t receive a call nor the air conditioner, I called the agency, (Synergy Electronics) and was informed by a Ms. Meenal that they have ordered the coil, but the Voltas company is not sending the same. I was given Mr. Mithun Das’ number (ASM) and was told to follow up with him.

              I called Mr. Das and he took down my details and said he would get back to me. He didn’t do so. I kept calling him but he didn’t respond to the calls or SMSs. I then called the agency and got Mr. Sapkar’s number (apparently the RSM) and spoke to him about the same.

              What really is upsetting, is that you expect the consumer to follow up with the Voltas ASM because he is not sending the parts to the agency. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

              I was assured that my complaint would be attended to. I then received date after date from Mr. Das, but no air conditioner. It is June 2, 2011 and I have still not received the same. I got a call from Synergy saying they will deliver it tomorrow, but considering the past track record, I very honestly do not expect it to come tomorrow either.

              I await your response.

              With unfortunately no more regards for Voltas,

                  DEAR SIR WE HAVE TAKEN ALL MOST 20 VOLTAS AC FROM VATANUKUL AUTHORIZED SHOP OF INDORE MP.
                  FIRST OF ALL WE NEVER GOT ANY SORT OF SATISFACTORY SERVICE FROM THEM NOW TWO COMPRESSOR OUT OF TWENTY IS NOT WORKING FROM LAST ONE MONTH THEY ARE TELLING THAT MECHANIC WILL COM TOMORROW BUT WORK IS DONE SO FAR.
                  WE HAVE TAKEN TWO YEARS BACK AND ON COMPRESSOR FIVE YEARS GUARANTEE STANDS.

                    I purchase Voltas window ac at 27.04.2011 from Mahima Enterprises, Sanjay place, agra, and at the time installation we knowing that this ac swing motor not work, when i call to mahima enteprises about this problem, he say that problem resolve within two days, but problem not resolve, then i registered my complain at 06.05.2010 at customer care no. [protected], and my complain no. is 11MY0608210. but after registering complain , my complaing not resolve yet. i want to complain against mahima enterprises for delay in servicing and system of voltas ltd, which have no way to complain against these dealer. please solve my problem as soon as possible.

                        I had purchased a 1.5 ton split AC(vertis,Elite) on dt 14.5.11 from M/s Mahavir Agency,sharmachhak ,Talcher,Angul(Orissa).The AC was fitted on dt.14.5.11 by the M/s mahavir Agency's mesenger.After running of two dyas it was found no colling and at once i reported to Agency,one complain also lodge on voltas and i have got a complain code. Immediately they sent their representative for repairing work.The AC was found no gas due to leakage of gas through the inner pipe of outer machine.They opened the outer machine and welded the copper pipe in trwo places then filled the gas.Now it is running well.but the inner pipe looks damaged due to welding.So my question is should i get a new one because i had brought a new AC which became damaged looks like old one.still i am in doubt whether the AC will run a long period or not.Gas may again leak or not.So in that case there is any provision for a customer to get a new one outer machine or not.Kindly reply your favourable answar to me so i shall be obliged.

                          i purchase a voltas vertis pluto 1.5tn ac from 'sham lal and company, 206/25, sadar bazar, delhi cantt' on 8/5/11. i installed the ac at my home at aligarh on 11/5/11. when i open the case there was no remote, no information booklet and no pipe for moisture/water out flow. after installation it produce a disturbing sound. i complaint on costumer care on 11/5/11, complaint no. was 11MY1109003, i again call to costumer care on 18/5/11, 20/5/11, 24/5/11. but the complaint was not attended. on 24/5/11 the costumer care again register my complaint on new complaint no. 11MY2406507. today is 30/5/11, but my complaint is not attended. neither engineer call me on phone nor any one come to solve the problem. is voltas is the tata product?

                              I placed request on 20 may 2011 for 1st free service ( out of 2 free services ) online to voltas.after 8 days on 28th may 2011 one of the person with name Shibu -from NAHUR ENTERPRISES , kalyan -west.voltas authorized service franchisee visited my place. I asked for the ID CARDS to them They told they are new employee they don't have ID.within 10 min they completed there service just by blowing cover of my AIR CONDITIONER,VOLTAS VERTIS PLUS 1 TON. outer unit is full of dust when I told them to clean outer unit they said that it is not required.................VOLTAS cheating valuable customers by providing free services...please look into the matter

                                Voltas Vertis GOLD i 1.5 Split AC purchased on 17-4-11 at KOHINOOR Electronics , New Link Road Andheri west and was installed on 24-4-11, AC became non functional on 13-5-11 and complaint lodged on the same day, for which your franchise service agent reported and attended on 19-5-11 fixed the ac temporarily

                                2nd similar instance was noted 2 weeks hence and again there had to be gas filled in the machine

                                As on 24/05/2011, the cooling in the machine was again sub standard and the person from the authorised service centre M/s Synergy Electronics , cited similar problem

                                The manager of M/s Synergy Electronics , Mr S Vishwakarna has been very rude and impractical in his approach ,


                                First of all,I wish to state the poor state of crippled 24 hour complaint cell which is fully non functional, leaving the customers in agony. If this state continues, the reputation built up(TATA PRODUCT) will become a big question to customers.
                                Secondly,3 instances of gas leakage reported in your product within less than one month of installation clearly highlights the manufacturing flaw in the unit for which we are not at all ready to bear it. So, I request to replace the unit at the cost of your company instead of gas filling which is highly irregular.
                                I hope that you would have clearly understood the spate of your genuine consumer and expecting necessary action immediately.

                                voltas split AC, vertis gold — Gas leakage

                                I purchased a votas split AC, Vertis God fromTV, electronics, B-37, kalkaji, New Delhi-110019 on 25.06.10. I had a leakage of gas on 25.5.11. I registered a complaint on the same day vide complaint no. 11my2501107. I am repeatedly been assured that some technicain will visit me today. It has been a lapse of 8 working days and no one has contacted me. I have an heart patient home, who is sufferning for last 8 days. I feel cheated as even complaints are not been attended, the company seems to be in a mood to lapse my warranty period. I have been calling regularly three times day but in vain. plese help this old man.

                                  7 Nos, 3-phase 2 TONNE, VOLTAS make split AC units were commissioned at Sub load Despatch Centre, TANTRASCO, Erode on 04.05.2011.
                                  Out of which 1 No Ac unit is kept out of service from 07.04.2011 due to fan blade cut in the out door unit Sl No.4511039P[protected] which is under Guarantee period.
                                  We have complained about the problem over phone on 07.04.11 to the supplier and written complaints addressed to :
                                  M/s.AERO COOL SERVICES,
                                  323/80A, CHERRY ROAD,
                                  OPP DISTRICT FOREST OFFICE,
                                  SALEM - 636 007.
                                  vide this office letter on various dates. 08.04.11, 25.04.11, 06.05.11 and 11.05.11
                                  But so far no action has been taken to rectify the defect. Much inconvinience is being experienced in maintaing the room temperature.
                                  Hence it is requested that, arrangements may kindly be taken to rectify the defective blade and to bring the AC uint into service at the earliest please.

                                    THE RESPONSE FROM YOUR END WAS REALLY DISTURBING AND IT HAS HELPED TO DEVALUE OUR MOUNTING TRUST IN VOLTAS. I REALLY FEEL SORRY CHOOSING A VOLTAS AS MY AIR CONDITIONER .WHEN YOU TRY TO BLOW SMOKE OVER THE PROBLEM WITH SILLY REASONS, HOW CAN YOU ESCAPE FROM THE FLAWS IN THE DESIGN OF YOUR PRODUCT. I REALLY DOUBT, THIS IS DOCTORED EFFORT BY VOLTAS TO BOOST THEIR SERVICE BUSINESS BY ASSEMBLING SPURIOUS PARTS TO THEIR AIR CONDITIONER UNITS AND TO GET THEM REPLACED AS AND WHEN IT IS POSSIBLE.

                                    FROM APRIL LAST WEEK WE ARE FACING THE PROBLEM IN THE UNIT WITH HIGH SOUND IN OUTDOOR UNIT AND LESS COOLING IN INDOOR AND INSTEAD OF OUR SEVERAL COMPLAINTS TO DANUBE ENTERPRISES NOBODY HAS COME FOR SERVICING THE UNIT.

                                    ANY WAY, I LOOK FORWARD TO SETTLING THIS MATTER AMICABLY BY REPLACING WITH NEW UNITS. IF, HOWEVER, THE MATTER IS NOT SATISFACTORILY RESOLVED WITHIN ONE WEEK AND REPLACED THIS AIR CONDITIONER UNITS WITH NEW ONE, I WON’T HESITATE TO FILE A SUIT AGAINST THE COMPANY IN THE CONSUMER COURT WHERE I AM SURE TO GET A FAVOURABLE SOLUTION TO MY PROBLEM.

                                    I EXPECTED A MUCH HIGHER LEVEL OF SERVICE FROM YOUR COMPANY, AND I AM QUITE DISAPPOINTED. I HOPE YOU WILL LOOK INTO THE MATTER AT THE EARLIESTAND REPLACE THE UNIT IMMEDIATELY.

                                      We had bought near about 40 ACs from Voltas for our company. some are split, some windows and some cassettes.
                                      In that we have one window AC 2ton which is idle from last 20 days for compressor faulty which is under warranty, only single visit they did with wrong compressor after that I am only waiting here.
                                      I am continuously following but not getting good response.
                                      we are not happy at all with the services. we did complaint to the dealer, to the area manager but got no result.

                                        i purchased 3 a.c of voltas all of them started giving problem 1 of the a.c was repared for 4 times and compresseor was changed 2times in starting after lot of calls and harrasment now 15 days ago one another a.c again is out of order and when we camplained to local custmer care they took 7days to reply then again after chasing them they asked to complain to the customer care no. After 4 days one repesntstive visited and said that your compresseor is out of order and need to be changed but it wil take 40 days for a new compressor to be reached to us when again complaining to the custmer care they said that that the compressor which is not working will be sended to the voltas factory by the representative and then voltas wil check that wether it is to be repared or to be changed this all process was done by16/5/2001 but till date on23/5/2011 no representative visited us to take that compressor to the factory were as that is undre warrenty, now after again calling to custmer care they said that your compresor is out of order and it will take 20 days to be sended to you as we are out of stock.now please help me wether i have purchased a 2nd hand a.c form the company at the cost of new.my complain no. to the voltas is 11MY1603125.
