I have bought 1.5 ton inverter 5 star split AC on 23rd April 2023 and the product was delivered on the same day. I had been promised to get it installed within 48 hrs
Till now it has not been installed.Showroom person and installation head, both are not answering properly and as of now they are not picking my calls. As I am facing difficulty towards summer heat, l request you to do the needful.

    I have purchased voltas 5 star windows ac on June 2021 from Amazon and registered the extended warranty as per instructions. I have taken all the services from voltas itself. 10 days back, I started AC and felt that it's not cooling and I have raised service request to voltas([protected]). I being an customer was expecting to get some call from service provider but that didn't happened. I made the calls to different people to finally reach service manager because mobile numbers coming in messages don't work and made him aware of my service request and asked to schedule the service. I also confirmed from him if my product is under warranty and he confirmed the same. Now 2 days back my ac got serviced and service engg confirmed Gas leak issue gas needs to be recharged. I asked service manager for its resolution as it was supposed to be done in warranty. This time service manager said that my ac is not registered under WTA so showing out of warranty. He asked me to drop an email to [protected]@voltas.com to get the product registered. I did the same and since two days I am still waiting for its registration and continously following up with teams to get this resolved. Best part is service manager making me fool saying that sir aaj aapka kaam ho jayega and now it's been 10 days. I am feeling like I did a blunder purchasing two voltas ACs with such a ridiculous and non sense customer support. Service provider don't even care about people problem. I have made more than 20 calls since the issue started and they don't bother.
    Hoping that right people will understand the concern and help in resolving this ASAP.

    I don't understand how this got resolved. This was the only thing left now. Understanding the concern is far away but company has closed the ticket without even talking to me for this issue. I don't know how to describe such a support now.

    @consumercompaints.in - Is there any way this can be escalater further. Without even checking with customer, compaints has been resolved. On what basis they resolved it. How are we supposed to get the support after purchasing their so costly products.

      Pure cheaters. Took spares of our air conditioner 12 days back. No call, no update. The technicians didn't knew a single thing. I had to call and ask them about the problem. Now after 12 days they are asking "what was the problem sir" and saying to pay 12000/- .for a new spare.
      I doubt their intentions and not going to pay the 12000/-
      . I am going to file a consumer case against them for fraud.

            I Ranju Singh have purchased a Voltas AC of 1 Ton 5 Star of Voltas on 18th of April 2023 and have teken self delivery on the next day that is 19th of April 2023. Then I rise a service request for installation of my split AC and got time for installation is 24 hrs to 72 hrs but even after 5 days of waiting still installation service centre people are not visited my house or nor contacted me. In between yesterday I got a message on my register number that customer has reschedule the installation but we haven't done this still I am waiting for installation and service centre people are saying your installation will be done shortly. I live in metro city like Kolkata at that place this kind of service is really pathetic and not accepted at all.
            I am using lots of Tata product in my house because I have a great experience and have faith over TATA . Now completely I feel myself cheated from Voltas a Tata product.

            It was really a bad experience being a voltas customer. PATHETIC.
            I will never recommend anybody to buy voltas ac, they are blood suckers. They are manipulating the customers.

            I had made a complaint regarding my voltas 1.5 ton split AC cooling issue and AC in warranty . It has been one month now, I have been talking and writing customer care but there is no response from them

                We filed ac not cooling service request on 13 April 2023. Service center sent a technician who checked and said problem is with outdoor unit but other team will come to fix the problem. The other people who came did not do anything and closed without resolving issue and spoke rudely. Our service request is [protected]
                Service center ac comfort services in hyderabad is ignoring calls.

                  Over charge for AC installation

                  I have purchase a voltas split AC on dated 21/04/2023 form Electronic Craft B-4&5 Kanti Nagar Delhi 110051. It has to be installed by voltas authorized technician, I have to pay 599/+GST as installation charge. A technician came to install the AC on dated 24/04/2023, but he demanded over charge to me i.e. Rs300/ for stand installation Rs1200/ for drill charge which is not justified. If I have to pay these charge over and above of Rs599/ then...

                  Our ac is not working from last 10days. ac isn’t doing cooling . i have two ac of voltas. first one is a 2 old and another one in 3 year old. Both the ac has same issue. I registered my complaint on 16 april. And today is 24april. All the customer care number are busy and I don’t know what to do. my personal suggestion is please do not buy voltas products it’s quality and service are very very poor. i know daikin o general hitachi are expensive but believe me Their service is amazing. The ac which is 2 year old has facing this problem second time. now you understand how much the voltas product is reliable

                    I would like to bring it to your notice in an enormous amount of hope that at least now our problem would be resolved. we have trouble with your service centres and the agency staff.

                    Let me start from the beginning, On 30/04/2022 we have purchased Voltas Inverter Air Conditioner 1.5 Ton 3 Star from Girias in T.Nagar, Chennai. The Air conditioner was running perfectly and we did not have any trouble with it so far until we have shifted to a new house near the same area.

                    On 15/10/2022, We have launched a call for AC Re- Installation and service engineer from the agency called VGS REFRIGERATION from KOLATHUR, came and installed the AC in our new house. The service engineer from that agency informed that the length of the Copper Pipes was not enough for the new place; and in addition to the company provided 3 meter Copper pipe, we would need to buy another 5 metres of new Copper pipe in order to fit the AC. By completely placing our trust on the agency, we agreed for that and service engineer himself brought the said length of Copper Wire for Rs.8, 100/-. He attached the new Pipe with the existing Copper pipe through welding and fit the AC in the new house. The AC was working fine. A routine service was also done on 22/10/2022.

                    After the service, 2 months later, the AC was not cooling. Hence we launched a call in Voltas Customer Care on 27/01/2023 with the request no [protected]. The same service engineer Mr.Raj, came from the same agency and examined the AC and the outer part and informed us that there might be leakage with the AC; and that he needed to examine it completely. So he removed the AC inner coil and took it to their place. And returned after 2 days. The inner part was damaged by them and the sides are looked burnt; and he said that there was nothing wrong with the inner coil; and that the issue must be with the outer part. Again we completely trusted them as they are VOLTAS's Service agency. He said that there was a gas leak due to the gutter near our house and he refilled the gas for free as our free service period was still not over. After this incident, the AC working was fine for only a few weeks. Again we had the same problem as the AC was not cooling properly.

                    On 05/04/2023, We launched a call with VOLTAS's customer care with request no. [protected]. This time a new agency staff Mr.Praveen from Kodambakkam service centre came to examine the AC. When he was examining we noticed the damages done to our AC inner coil by the previous agency, when he (Mr.Praveen) was asked, he said that they might have happened while cleaning and it was not a big deal. He couldn't find where the issue lies hence he said that their Service Engineer would come the very next day for the examination, which they didn't. We had to again call the customer care to complaint about the delay. The next day the Service Engineer came and had a look at the outer, without even touching anything, he told us that the copper pipes were connected by welding and for Inverter AC the copper pipes should not be welded. We told him that the Service Engineer from the previous agency only did it and it's not our fault. But He didn't care about what we said, and replied that only if you buy new 8 metres length of Copper pipe, I would look into the problem. Until then, I can't find where the issue lies. Even after we repeatedly explained him how we could spend another 10K rupees within only 6 months, and it was not our mistake, we had only done what the Service Engineer from the previous agency told. He still didn't care about the issue and replied that it was not his problem.

                    After a long discussion he called his manager, he also didn't cared about anything he asked us to close the request by mentioning "Resolved Over Phone", but we refused to do so as our issue was not still resolved. Then he replied that, "I don't need to. I know how to close the call." After two days, we received a message that, our request has been closed by mentioning "Customer not responding" which was a complete lie. During this period, we also called Customer Care and explained our problem, the staff promised us that she is escalating the issue with the Chief Engineer and they would come and resolve our problem, it's been over 2 weeks and still no one came or even called us.

                    Our AC is still not working. We are from a middle class family. Buying AC is like a luxury thing for us. Due to my 2 year old son's skin problems during Summer time, we had to buy AC. As we trust TATA products are the best, we bought VOLTAS's AC. But to say the least, the agencies had totally deceived us. Within just 1 years from buying, we had already spent nearly 10K, and they are still asking to spend more by purchasing copper pipes.

                    My questions that need to be answered are:

                    (1) Why our AC inner coil was damaged by the agency staff? Who will take the responsibility for it?

                    (2) If the welding of the Copper Pipes is the source of the problem, why couldn't the previous agency (who welded the copper pipes at the time of Re-Installation and came for the request call booked on 31/01/2023) found it and resolve it? Why did they just fill the gas and say the problem was resolved? Did they cheat us? Did they hide their mistake from us?

                    (3) We are not AC engineers and we don't know anything about AC. We followed what your Service Engineers instructed. If the Copper Pipes should not welded together for the Inverter AC, who should know that? The Service Engineer who has the knowledge and experience in that field or Us who know nothing about AC and bought AC for their first time in life? Whose mistake is that?

                    (4) Why should we spend another thousands of Rupees of our hard earned money for a mistake that's done by your Service Engineer?

                    (5) How could Kodambakkam service centre close our Request call without resolving our issue? How could they lie that the "Customer didn't responded". when in fact we were waiting for them to call us or come in person?

                    (6) How could you hire a Service Engineer who doesn't even have enough knowledge in the field?

                    (7) Is these behaviour shown by your Customer Care system and Agencies acceptable?

                    (8) Are all these injustice done to us because we have free service?

                    We have called to your service centre no. many times still we didn't got any solution for our AC issues.

                    Kindly I request to look into these matter and provide us support to resolve our issues as early as possible.

                      I registered a complaint at 09:25 am on 22.04.2023 for repair of my windows AC. Despite 6 calls (out of 34 attempted calls), no technician has turned up. This is poor service. They charge exorbitant price for spare parts and not doing it for free. The entire weekend was wasted calling these unprofessional people.

                      Despite the delay, the technician was good. He explained the issue and charges in detail. That's why I always prefer repair by company technicians rather than the local ones.

                        I Book an AC repair through Voltas customer care number on 17/4/23 and received Req no [protected]..one technician arrived and take away IDU main pcv for repair same day with Rs 650/-visiting charge...that after till now my AC is not repair and technician not attending the phone or not replying my WhatsApp message also ..
                        I tried again & again daily through customer care service or technician suggested number by customer care...but nothing to be done.

                        Plz suggest me what to be done?

                              Called several times in customer care for installation, they just book an appointment but didn’t show up. It’s been a week.

                                I have purchased a Volta's AC on 19th April 2023. Request ID is [protected]. Till now nobody contact me. The assign engineer is saying that he is in medical leave for 30 days. Do I have to wait for 30 days?

                                    Re : Window Inverter AC – Gas leakage problem after routine servicing

                                    I have purchased above said AC on 16.04.2022. As per the recommendations first service was done last year and second service performed on 26.03.2023 wherein on the insistence of service engineer we have got coating after payment Rs.500 to protect the AC from leakage. We have been told not to use the AC for about 4-5 hrs till the time coating is dried. We have not used AC as weather conditions were also not allowing so. On 15.04.2023 we switched on the AC and surprised to observe that it’s not cooling. It is important to inform that AC was working/cooling perfectly before the service and coating.

                                    We have lodged complaint on 15.04.2023 and after three days your engineer visited and informed “Gas has leaked and he is escalating the complaint for redressal. Today is 21.04.2023 there is no information when your service team will make a note and close the complaint after doing the needful. We have made phone calls to your customer care number and also to the service engineer who came to attend the complaint but all in vain.

                                    It is pity that we have bought a product/ AC for our convenience after spending so much of money. It seem manufacturer (VOLTAS) have cheated us and take it granted to provide service with their own convenient without seeing the customer’s convenience. I feel we have been given a faulty product whose life span is just for one year. I strongly request to address the complaint immediately and get problem solved with an immediate effect. If you are unable to provide timely service, pick the unit/ AC from our house and refund the full amount paid to you.

                                    Your urgent attention in the matter will be highly appreciated.
