Dear Sir,

I stay outside my Jalpaiguri residence for most of
the days of a year which I intimated in several occasions. . During 2014 I
stayed almost all the days outside due to my occupation. Although my meter
reading was 377 as on 23.02.2015, WBSEDCL, Jalpaiguri Centre has erroneously
and intentionally prepared a bill quoting false meter reading as 1158 and
placed a large burden of electricity charge upon me. Subsequently WBSEDCL
disconnected power supply to my premises unilaterally. I submitted a complaint
letter on 23.02.2015 mentioning all the facts. Since I was in need of power
connection, I deposited the required sum of Rs. 4, 457/- to get back power
connection immediately. Today I visited WBSEDCL Jalpaiguri office to enquire
how I can pay in advance to avoid unusual penalty. In previous situations, I
received bills amounting Rs. 84/- for a quarter. Today I have been given a bill
for Rs. 327/-(payable within due date (12.03.2015) which is much higher than
Rs. 84/-. On scrutiny I find that LPSC (Late payment surcharge) for Rs. 188.77
has been added with my bill which is quite unexpected, while I have already
paid excessive billed amount for unconsumed[protected] units. Previous meter
reading has also been erroneously mentioned as 1158, which the reading is 377.
The meter is in operation and that has been checked by WBSEDCL personnel after
reconnection. Outstanding amount for Rs. 55.65 has also been mentioned in the
bill, while I have paid everything in advance. This bill again I have paid to
avoid unwarranted complications of disconnections etc. But Sir, I am very much
annoyed with such undesirable billing putting financial loss, burden and
anxiety over me.

Please take up immediate action to stop such practice of ill
performances and adjust all the excess payments.

    27th February, 2015 The Chief Engineer (IT & C) Cell, West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Co. Limited, 3rd Floor, D Block, Bifyut Bhawan, DJ Block, Sector-II, Salt Lake City, Bidhannagar, Kolkata- 700091 West Bengal Respected Sir, Ref: Consumer No.[protected] of M/s GreenTech Environ Management Pvt. Ltd. Reg: Excess billing in bill no.[protected] dated 03/12/2014 for Rs. 48233/- We are quite shocked to receive the electricity bill amounting Rs.48233/- (Rupees Forty Eight Thousand Two Hundred Thirty Three only) against electricity consumption for the last 4 months at my facility. It is just not possible for us to have used so much of electricity since the date of installation of meter. Our previous Unit consumptions as follows: MONTH READING CONSUMED UNITS 12/03/2014 163 163 07/04/2014 358 195 29/04/2014 358 Meter problem 06/05/2014 633 275 27/05/2014 633 Meter Problem 03/07/2014 705 72 05/08/2014 1721 1016 28/10/2014 1798 77 28/11/2014 2978 1180 This is to bring to your notice that we use electricity for domestic purpose only for lights and fans etc which cannot consume more than 100 units a month even if we use 24hrs. There seems a mistake in noting down the readings. Please rectify this mistake so that I can pay the actual amount and till then you are requested not to disconnect the electricity line.       absurd bill

The month March of 2015 is yet to start but an absurd bill of Rs. 21000 something has come to my house at sodepur, kolkata for march to may month.           Dear Sir I am quite shocked to receive the electricity bill against electricity consumption for the months OF OCT 2014 & Also checked online it is Showing at your website in ADVANCE for coming 3 Month up to FEB 2015 . My Electricity Bill up to September 2014 already paid (Transaction ID: CTX[protected] It is just not possible for me to have used so much of electricity in the last one months more so because I was out of station with my family for twenty days and the house was locked After series of mail still issue is pending Visa –A- Viz checked Online & found next 3 month( Dec 2014 to Feb 2015 ) bill shows in advance WITHOUT USING ENERGY .                 I paid the bill through Internet banking (UCO bank Transaction No.IBP BILLDESK[protected] on[protected]Bill amount - Rs.841/-). Bank debited Rs.845.49 against the said bill amount(Payment confirmation No.3490808) but no receipt from WBSEDCL portal has been generated till date. Even today when I open the WBSEDCL portal, due bill till displayed in the screen.                           Sir, we are facing frequent voltage fluctuations in our area (Bansdroni, ward number: 113) for the past 10-15 days. Few other flats and house supplies are also showing the same, so it must be some problem at wbsedcl side. As a result of these fluctuations, electrical devices are not working properly and some of them got damaged. Waiting for an immediate action from wbsedcl.

                              The Superintendant 28/12/2014 Garia Customer Care Centre West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Centre Limited Hindustan More Garia Main Road Kolkata: 700084 Dear Sir, Re ;- Wrongful return of cheque causing immense harassment to myself, PRABIR DASGUPTA ID No. [protected] South Kumrakhali, P.O. Narendrapur, 24 Parganas (South). With reference to the above I like to mention that I have deposited my cheque No. 277450 Dt. 13/11/2014 for Rs.3856/- (Being the payable billed amount) drawn on United Bank of India, Narendrapur Branch, at your office on 13/11/2014. Suddenly on 12/12/2014 your office informed me over phone that my cheque has been returned and I have to deposit Rs. 4060/-(Four thousand sixty only) in cash to avoid disconnection. I rushed to your office immediately and deposited the said amount in cash to avoid such undesirable situation. I was given my cheque back along with a return memo signed by Axis Bank showing the reason “ Funds Insufficient “ To my utter surprise I just cannot understand why and how the cheque has been returned when I have maintained sufficient balance in my account and the return memo has been signed not by the Drawee Bank Branch, i.e, United Bank OF India, Narendrapur, but by Axis Bank. It is a puzzle to me how a return memo can be prepared without apparently non-presentation to the original drawee Bank. It will not be out of context to inform you that I have made the bill payment through cheque for near about two decades and never has such incident occurred in my life .Being a retired Bank Executive I know the actual and legal consequences for a dishonor of cheque on account of “insufficiency of fund “.For your further information there was available balance of more than Rs. 40000/- in the account during the whole month of November, 2014. I hereby enclose a letter from United Bank of India, Narendrapur—that will speak for it. I also enclose photocopies of a) the bill, b) the cheque, c)the cheque return memo, d)two cash deposit receipt No.[protected] for Rs. 3960/- and receipt No.[protected] for Rs. 100/- (Total amount Rs. 4060/- Four thousand sixty only ) The whole matter is not only unfortunate, but also has landed me in total disgrace and humiliation as follow:- 1) The incident has questioned my bonafide, goodwill and reputation. Moreover, as a senior citizen I think I have been subject to immense harassment without any fault of mine. 2) In effect and as a result, I have been unnecessarily forced to pay Rs. 204/- (Two hundred four) extra as fine and disconnection and reconnection charges. 3) A restriction has been imposed upon me barring my use of cheque payment of bill for one year onwards ---which I consider to be an undue punishment and infringement of my right as a customer. Under the circumstances, I would request you to please enquire into the matter, fix up the responsibility (me or United Bank of India or Axis Bank ---whoever it may be) and inform me of your findings citing your steps to ameliorate my above three grievances. Hope to be favoured with an early reply so that a senior citizen like me is not subject to further harassment of knocking at the door of some other higher authority seeking justice.                                   I, Kanan Munsi, beg to state that Smt. Namita Roy, residing at W/o. Late Hiranmoy Roy, Mahaprabhu Para, Ward No. 16, 2nd Lane, P.O.- Ranaghat, Dist. - Nadia, Phone No. - [protected], has applied for domestic connection. It is noted that she has no proper road for getting domestic connection. Connection is possible only over our Paternal Property. WBSEDCL Officials should know that any domestic connection is given to a consumer after the verification of legal documents (like PARCHA, DALIL, etc.) of the premises over which the connection is provided.                                     I, Abhijit Debnath, Developer of Manindra Apartment, 20, Deshbandhu Road, New Barackpur, Ward no. -11, Kolkata - 700131, Phone No. - [protected], have applied for Construction power on 25.04.2014 (Application No. [protected]) and permanent connection on 25.04.2014 (Application No. [protected]) under New Barrackpore Customer Care Centre for our constructed flat. But still now we have not got any construction power. It is ridiculous. Our construction works is running through rental Generator connection. Details are under follows : Note Sheet of Bidhannagar II (D) Division - NBGS/NS/14-15/52 date 29.04.2014 Received in DM Section Asstt. Manager (HR & A) BNDD-II Madam Nabanita Chowdhury Note Sheet no. 592, date 10.06.2014 send to RM on date 22.07.2014 Then there is no feedback still today.
