Sub:- Letter of Complaint to The WBSEDCL for Excess Billing. Sir, I am quite surprised and quite shocked to receive the electricity bill amounting Rs. 11, 748 against electricity consumption for the last three months at my residence, to receive such a heavy electricity bill. Needless to say there has been some anomaly or breach of duty. I am quite disturbed how such an exaggerated amount in bill could have been reached. You are well aware of the fact and circumstances that I purchased the existing property and changed the name in the year 2012 and since then all my dues are clear, the outstanding bill which shown on the bill Rs. 10199 which is very high for the person like me being a retired employee of Kankinara Jute mill located in North 24 Parganas . I would be highly obliged if you could settle this matter in accordance with the provisions to the satisfaction of your customer. Please rectify this mistake so that I can pay the actual amount. Dear Sir,
I am Bazlay Ahammed Rampurhat New Hospital Canal More applied
for three phase new commercial service connection in my New Nursing Home
complex on dated may 2017 and my application no ---500`1624100 for new connection..Rampurhat supply office send me a quotation amounting Rs.121897.00.As per order the whole amount paid by me by Bank Draft on dated24/08/2017 receipt no[protected] amounting Rs. 81897.00 as security deposit 2)receipt no[protected] amounting Rs. 40000.00 service connection charge, , but still now approx 7 (seven) months over wbsedcl Rampurhat office did not take any positive steps for my connection.
f.At emergency my nursing home is running by the help of Diesel generator.

It is my question to WBSEDCL 1) How much time to go for a new service connection?.
2)Who will bear huge loss for a long time due to negligence of your Department?
Therefore it is my prayer kindly supply me Transformer as early as possible and complete service connection from your end .

I have applied for a new connection on 25 april 2018. I have visited the officer 2 to 3 times and they are telling me to contact the electricity contractor. Every time when i have contract to the electric contractor, he is demand illegal money. This is now government works work. Everything is corrupted . Aurangabad ccc station manager is not responsible. Please sir relief my suffering

South 24 Parganas, holding Consumer ID :[protected], would like to inform you that as my mother has expired on 23rd May, 2019, I am not staying over here since then. I have come over here occasionally, hardly for 3 / 4 days only during this period almost 6 months. I have received
a Bill in my favour for the month of August, September and October, 2019 for Rs.563.00 and I have made the payment through online on 01.08.2019. But I am surprised to receive
the latest Bill through e-mail in my favour for the month of November, December, 2019 and January, 2020 for Rs.1679.00. I cannot understand how is it possible? The said Bill copy is attached herewith for your reference.

Under the circumstance, I earnestly request you to please look into the matter and try to understand my problem.

High Electricity Bill

Hello,
I am Babita Jaiswal from Reckjoani, Rajarhat. I recieved a bill of ₹8134 for the month of August, Sept, Oct. My average bill of 3months is always 12-1300₹ from last 2 years.I have a 320sq/ft one bhk room EWS.
How this much high Electricity bill came for 3months suddenly? I don't have that much electricity consumption.
I am incapable of paying ₹8134, i dont have any income source, i had in rent street food stall and its closed now. Anyhow i am running my family's need.
Kindly look into the matter and help me get out of this.I have received notice of power cut if bill not paid by this month Nov, 2020.

    Though I have been paying my electric bill regularly whatsoever but it is a great tension for me when I have received my electric bill on different mode and tariff when my house is closed and no power is being used. we are not staying here from last three months due to some unavoidable circumstances as a result of which no power is being used by us for our home but still we have been asked to pay nearly a sum of rupees 1900 as our current bill. we have already submitted a letter requesting to charge the minimum amount for "meter" but still we have received bill of such huge amount. sir, i would request you to take action and do favourable decision with respect to my complain. our home can be inspected any time by the local representative, if required. souvick Dey consumer ID[protected]

      I applied for temporary connection on 14/06/2011 and security deposit of Rs.3020/- & S/C charge of RS.185/- was deposited with WBSEDC at KOLAGHAT on the same day.I waited months together but neither the connection was given nor any communication was sent to me regarding the fate of my application in spite of my regular follow up with KOLAGHAT CCC.I brought the fact to kind notice of The R.G.R. O.& S.E..(Com), WBSEDCL Tamluk, Dist. Purbamedinipur.for justice against deliberate non implementation of temporary connection and appealed for refund of the security deposit & S/C charge with accrued interest and The R.G.R.O.& S.E.(COM) were kind enough to hold hearing and passed order directing The A.E.& S.M, Kolaghat CCC to refund the S/D & S/C along with accrued interest within 90 days from the date of submissinn of original cash deposit receipt.I submitted the original cash deposit receipt to Kolaghat CCC on 24/07/2013 but I have not received the refund till to day.I informed the fate of the hearing order to The R.G.R.O.& S.E.(COM), TAMLUK, on 25/03/2014 but till to day no remedial measure has been taken against violation of the ORDER by any authority whatsoever.             When the Micro Oven is in operation the voltage is dropping too much and recouping on switching off the Micro Oven. previously it was not happening. Recently while cutting the tree leaves in my next house the line was electrified and get corrected from your end.And problem of our house started.

              I have complained on 27th june, 2013 about replacement or remedy of my stopped faulty electric meter and the meter reading person also checked and accepted the faultness of my stopped electric meter . I have applied for replacement of stopped meter at Asst Engg, WBSEDCL, BALURGHAT, D/D, pin-733101.my customer id is[protected] and meter no is[protected]. I have inquired lot of timesbut no response.Till date no replacement has done. in this connection an effective steps are highly be solicited and needed for better service and taking necessary solution of customer harassment and problem due to irresponsibility of the concerned authority.

Both time amounts debited from my Account but my bill still show as UNPAID BILL. Account Details: Payment Gateway: UCO Bank (Card) Branch: Gazole IFSC Code: UCBA0002352 Name: RAJIB KARMAKAR Account No. [protected] So you are requested to refund my amount (Rs. 2820.16 + Rs. 2820.16) Total Rs. 5640.32 in my said account.

I am 82 Years old man, all i want is to a electrcity connection at mmy house. I have applied for the connection in march 2013. Paid required payment . They handed me documents and a work order number. But still i am in dark. I have visited electric office more then ten times which is 15 Kilometers from my home, every time they promise me to wait for one month . They changed work order number for four times. Few days ago a person came to my house introduced himself as a assistant of the electric contractor, he asked for 20000 Rupee as a bribe and said that if i do so with in 24 hours they will connect my electric connection with meter. sir, there are more five to six house here, they all are ST, SC and OBC. They also facing the same problem. Is it a out of the world wish in this stage of my life??? Please take some action.

Whenever I try to click on the select boxes beside the monthly break-up of the bills in the Pay Bills section in WBSEDCL portal none of the boxes gets selected and the payment remains a failure. Even after repeated calls to probably every phone numbers provided on the bills and as informed by the Customer Care executives I have not got any fruitful solution and they bypass my problem and give vague and unrealistic replies. Please take the pain to address my trouble as soon as possible and troubleshoot it so that I can pay my electric bill online as I live far away from my home and going to the Electric Office and depositing is not an easy option to me.                                         I, the Secretary, Kendriya Vihar Co-operative Housing Society Ltd, Kendriya Vihar, VIP Road, Kolkata 700052, a housing of Central Government officers has received complaints from its large numbers of Members that, inspite of making arrangement with the Bank, agreed by the WBSEDCL for making payment of bill through ECS (UNLIMITED), the personnel of WBSEDCL are often threatening some old and senior citzens consumers that they are going to disconnect their connections for non payment of outstanding bill .Where as Bank has paid and regularly paying all bills raised by the WBSEDCL . It is not understood how and why such people are often allowed to raid our premises and threatening our members most of whom are cardiac patients . When challenged the fellow has asked the consumer to contact the Tegharaia office, which is not possible for such almost invalid people . If at all some arrear bill (outstanding or old arrear) is required to be paid by the consumer, the same can i) either be added to the current bill convincing their (consumer's) banker to make payment or ii) can depute a personal with a letter of identity in the society office any convenient to collect the amount, since it was a fault of the Electricity department AND NOT OF THE INDIVIDUAL .I on behalf of the society assure you that all kind of co operation and assistance will be provided by the society to WBSEDCL to collect the same . Thanking you and assuring all kind of co-operation . But Please stop harassing our senior brothers and allow them to live peacefully .
