May I know since when you are facing the issue?
What exact error message do you get while connecting?
Have you tried to connect using another cable and different ports on your PC?
If possible, try to connect to another system.
I'd suggest you to run the Data Lifeguard Diagnostics to test the drive.

After running this software do update what's the result.
