We bought Whirlpool washing machine a year back. From then till now we have to repair it 5 times. Once motor was making noise so it is replaced. Now and then the input water pipe connector breaks. This input water pipe connector is such a poorly designed part, it's unbelievable that Whirlpool is using it. I won't recommend to anyone for sure. - Nilesh Sapar[protected]

    I am Umarani residing at Palani town in Dindigul district. I purchased Whirlpool washing machine model no;13811 & Serial no;INF[protected]NXT 621P-R.DIVA) from vasavth&co, Palani as on 01/01/2013 (bill no;[protected]). The representative of authorised service center V CARE of Pollachi-642 001, was installed the product as on 04/01/2013.At the end of the year 2013 i observed that there was some noise from inside the machine and immediately I was made a complaint with the seller Vasanth&co about the noise.As upon my complaint they send representative (machanic) to rectify the complaint. The representative checked and observed that the product was initiallyinstalled by the V CARE representative without removal of the iron clamp which was initially fixed by the manufacturer under the machine for the safety transit of the product.The machanic informed the matter to both me and the Vasanth&co manager Mr.Vijay and removed the iron clamp for smooth running of the machine and assured that any defect in future will be rectified by the company.But, after two months some other defect was arised, that was, leakage of water under the machine and complaint was made by me the Vasanth&co send V CARE persons and they attend the complaint and after that the machine makes abnormal noise from the drum, and again complaint was made by me and the V CARE removes the old suspencer replaced with new one.Unfortunately the complaint was not rectified but, now a new complaint was lodged by me with the seller Vasanth&co that, the product was stopped its running and totally defective from 09/12/2014.So, I met the seller today for claiming a replacement of new product for the defective one soled for me.I had been disturbed with your defective product with manually and mentally.Hence, please make arrangement for replacement with in 15 days to avoid legal action before the consumer forum which will affect your goodwill.

      we brought whirlpool washing machine in 2011.till this time period, we had to face lot of complaints.now the washing machine is not working.display is not shown.we have already changed the panel.and had to pay around 6000 rupees by two times.what we will do..and we are not supposed to spend anything to it..pls help to fix the problem

        I have purchased a Washing machine Model No. 360H-GRA vide Invoice No. SLF 02A[protected] on date 07/03/2014 from CROMA, Anna Nagar, Chennai-40. It is very disgusting to write that since the day i have purchased the Washing Machine, it has not been working good continuously for more than a month. Problems are coming regularly and i got it repaired three times within period of 8 months. Hence, my complain may be lodged for poor/ bad performance of your product and it may be replaced. Otherwise, I will have no other option to go to consumer forum for inconvenience cause to me after purchasing of your product.

            i had purchased a brand new whirlpool refrigerator and they delivered it with both the rear legs broken and dents on the left wall of the fridge. i am awaiting a replacement for the same ever since i files a complaint . according to customer care the replacement should have been done in a weeks time and it looks like their week has more than 7 days unlike a normal week for others. Looking at all the complaints of others in the complaints blog, the weeks replacement they promised me means 1WEEK = infinite days. Hopeless. i will never ever, as long as i have air in my lungs refer this companies products to anyone and infact try to educate everyone possible to best stick with brands who they can trust and not experiment with something they are not sure off. The day when i bought this fridge, my instinct was pushing me towards LG and somehow the saleman in the unilet store convinced me to take whirlpool. i regret not going by my instinct. As for the problem on hand i guess i will just have to live this piece of crap since i cant throw out . This is me writing all of this after i had given up all hope. the next thing i would expect is a miracle. Hard earned money going down the drain right in front of my eyes.

                We purchase whirlpool iceberg 310ltr elete corban model fridge on[protected] .It is not working we gave the manual complaint on 18th October 2014 at Harshitha services, Dwarakanagar, Visakhapatnam. But they don't respond. Again we gave the complaint in online dt :[protected] complaint no: GR[protected] .After that somebody ask for bill copy and model number and bar code we gave the all details by mail to [protected]@gmail.com on 18th Nov 2014 but till now we couldn't get any information from their side .Already 40days gone so kindly do the need full action immediately . contact person, K.                   I bought Fully Automatic top loaded washing machine from Next Showroom, Empress Mall Vapi at around Rs.18000/- We used for 01 to 1.5 years and its Gearbox got failed; We complained and your team changed its gearbox. Once guarantee period of 02 years got over; we faced rotation problem during and we complained in customer care ; they sent engineer and they found that belt is damaged and they changed the belt with around Rs.300 charges and 06 months warranty. Again it stops rotating so we called that engineer and asked him to check as belt was under warranty ; he checked and replied that its Gearbox is damaged and needs to be replaced. I complained to Whirlpool customer care regarding this and they asked me time to solve this. I did so many follow up for 16 days but there is no solution. I agreed to pay before 03 days and confirmed the same but till time not attended. I talked with area service manager Mr.Saurabh Agarwal, Ahemdabad; his approach was casual and answer was so much un mature to handle such complains. The conclusion is that bad and irresponsible service.

                    I had purchased Whirlpool Ace 8.2 Stain free washing machine on Jan 16, 2014. In October it developed a crack by the side of dryer when it was drying clothes.For the past few weeks I have been trying to get service done so that the damaged body part can be replaced.They are saying sometimes that plastic is not covered but the whole washing machine is made of plastic body. Also there is no mention of that in the warranty card. It excludes only rubber and plastic accessories (like tube and stand). The whirlpool service request number is BG[protected]. The service request was handed over to third party company www.caretelindia.com. They are asking for Rs 2500 to Rs 3000 from me to get the service done.

                      I purchased a Whirlpool Magic Cook Microwave on 26 Jan 2014 from Big Bazare, I have only used this machine less than 10 times in this period. On 10th Nov I found out that it is not working and is giving an error message on the display so lodge a complaint on the given customer care number. Tech visited my home and said it needed a part replacement and the part will be replacement in 2 day. Since today (18/11/2014) I did not receive any update from whirlpool, so I made a call back to the customer care number. Just after the I made to the customer care center I got the call from the same tech who visited my home for the complaint saying that they do not have the part available and the microwave will be replaced and I have to pay Rs1500 for the replacement. The product which is not even a year old and still under the one year warranty but the customer have to pay for the replacement of the machine. What Kind of warranty and service is this? It means Whirlpool is cheating with customer with their bad products and extremely poor service. Now, I don't want the machine, as I don't want myself to be trapped again with whirlpool. I want money back so that I can purchase some other machine. Please help us on this. Thanks, Barun [protected]

                          above product purchased by me on 25/11/2012 is not functioning and going out of order every fortnight. Your company is not able to fix the problem... everyt ime temporary solution is given it goes off again... the machine will be out of warranty on 25/11/2014.and it appears to me that it is a ploy to push off warranty period. Kindly appreciate that we have not given any clean feed back on last 2 or 3 visits made by your mechanic and we had made it clear that the machine is under observation. This time while logging complaint we have placed our request for replacement.                             Dear Sir I am a customer of fully automatic whirlpool whitemagic wasing machine . I am leaving near chennai having pin code 601201. My registered mobile no is [protected]. I had made a complain through customer care in the month of sept'14. Then complain is attended by following centre Sri Ragavendra services No-1/92Munivel Nagar, AATHUR Road Karanodai, chennai-600067 They have taken approx Rs 8000 /= till date. But till todate my wasing machine is not working condition Lot of water leakage from bottom of washing.. They have changed wash tub. damp valve . Even they are not attending call also. In this case i don't have option other than i have to put my complain to consumer's court against worlpool.                               Denying to renew AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract ) of Washing Machine

And i had to take it because Machine is creating lots of issues. As well as service engineer is replacing very costlier parts every time. This year service engineer is telling he can't renew AMC for this machine. I have following concern - 1. If machine is having so much issues then why Whirlpool is not replacing...

We were informed it will be repaired within 2~3 days. After that no one turned up to repair the machine. while we are checking status with engineer, we r informed parts not coming from company.                                 I HAVE BOUGHT WHIRLPOOL WASHING MACHINE. AFTER THE WARRANTY PERIOD I HAVE TO CHANGE THE CIRCUIT TWO TIMES THAT COSTED AROUND RS 3800 EACH TIME. NOW THERE IS A PROBLEM IN TSP. THEY SAY YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE TSP WHICH COST AROUND RS 4000. TILL DATE I HAVE INCURRED MAINTENANCE EXPENSE OF RS 12000 AND THE WASHING MACHINE COST ME AROUND RS 20, 000. WHIRLPOOL ALSO HAVE STOPPED TAKING ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT. I SUGGEST NOT TO BUY ANY PRODUCTS OF WHIRLPOOL. COMPANY IS A BIG CHEAT.

                                  KIND ATTN : GENERAL MANAGER - SERVICE Sir, I would like bring your kind perusal regarding Worst Service by Whirl pool Service franchisee AMENDMENT Agency for not carrying out proper repairs on our Double door Fridge since last four months and wasted our hard earned money. I have lodged complaint to customer care on 22/7/14 in connection with sudden leaking of water from Whirl Pool Fridge Model 10888 paid service charge Rs 465/- The technician not rectified in proper condition and same problem started persisting after a week onwards, Though we have taken up the complaints several times with customer service. Where in The Amendment Agency Technician ascertained, found and informed us that, The Main Core Electronic Board and UI Board became unserviceable and needs to be replaced. He replaced both the Boards on 22/9/2014 and charged Rs 4000/-. Once again the problem started within 10 Days of repair and fridge condition remain same and water Leaking heavily. H Though I have made several calls to Amendment agency as well as Customer Care Resulted in Futile. No Technician Turned up for repair and rectify the same. In view of above captioned facts, You are required to resolve this issue immediately by directing your Engineers pending for last four months, Hence other wise I have to take up this Worst Service/ customer care Issue with Consumer forum for Mental agony and Loss of Money caused and suitable compensation thereof.                                     We have Whirlpool Microwave MW 30BC and we have purchased this on 19 July 2012 from Vijay Sales. In July we got some issues in Microwave so we filled a ticket on 2st August 2014 and ticket no. MB[protected]. Two Engineer from SATGURU ENTERPRISE came (We have paid the Visit changes also i.e. Rs. 337/- on 18 Aug 2014) and they told us that there is some issue in PCB Board of the Microwave and as they do not repair so only option is to be replaced with the estimated cost of around 3500/-. We took time to think because engineers were not sure after we replace this part there would not be any issues and as we were in need so we later we raised another complaint MB[protected] on 20 sept 2014 and confirmed to Mr Vaibhav (who was very helpful) from Satguru Enterprise that we are ready to replace the PCB, so they checked and confirmed that this Model is no longer in the production so we cannot get the Part. We asked for suggestion what to do so Mr Vaibhav of Satguru Enterprise told us to select another Microwave Model and we can give you replacement but we have to pay Addition amount and we agreed. We went to http://www.whirlpoolindia.com/ and selected the Model Whirlpool Microwave GUSTO GT 288 (25 Ltr) (also suggested by Satguru Enterprise). Satguru Enterprise raised the request immediately and we were waiting for the call from Whirlpool, but even after 2 and half weeks we didn’t get any call so I checked with MR Vaibhav and he gave me the Branch Manager Mr Vijay’s number. Mr. Vijay discussed about the pricing where he less the 40% as product is 2 year old and then gave me additional amount as 6000/ and asked me to make a DD in favor of “WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA LTD”, so that they can process the request. I crated DD on 22nd Oct 2014 after taking leave from office and doing a following almost every alternate day with Mr Vijay, and Mr. Vijay told us that they do not have this Model in stock and they can give us only Microwave 25BC as this is the only Model they have in stock and to be surprise, our old model is MW 30BC and they are offering me now MW 25BC which is the same, so the frustrating part is, they are not ready to repair the machine and replace the part stating this machine is out of production, then how they are giving the same model again to customer? What is the guarantee if something goes wrong then? During the discussion with Mr. Vijay, he finally said here is my number for my boss “ Bhupendar Singh” Please speak to him and raise your complain… Called 4 time to so called “Bhupendar Singh”. 1st call – he attend the call and didn’t utter a single word 2nd call – he attend the call and said there is a network issue you call me on Monday, without even asking my name, what I want and who is this. 3rd call – didn’t answer the phone 4th call – didn’t answer the phone Finally being a frustrated customer, I called whirlpool customer service center to speak to someone who can provide me some value and spoke to on floor supervisor “Faizan” who listen to me patiently and said sir we can’t do much here, here is number for “Area manager’s office” [protected]”, call here speak to “Reshma More / Shiddesh” and raise your complain they can help you. I asked 3 time are you sure the office is open during weekends? Faizan took time and confirmed YES sir. I called the given number and no one picking up the phone. I would like to raise this complaint because we have done whatever we could, but we are still not getting any support or response from Whirlpool they do not have parts, they do not have the latest model, also they are giving us the Model which is the same which we are using and it’s not working. We want our selected new Model, or our DD and 60% value of our not working Whirlpool Microwave so that we can buy another Microwave of different company. When I look at the whirlpool website I get to see the following lines which is inspiring, but the after sale service is pathetic. Whirlpool saying….. Innovation: Unique and compelling solutions valued by our customers and aligned to our brands create competitive advantage and differentiated shareholder value. (My comment – We make innovative idea to loot customer’s hard earn money) Operational Excellence (OPEX): A methodology for solving problems & continuous improvement of products & processes through pursuit, acquisition, and utilization of knowledge using critical thought and planned experimentation helps us achieve operational excellence. (My comments – We have exceptional expertise in lootofying customer and we have proven methods time on time, in fact we have done six-sigma on this) Customer Excellence: Excelling the customer expectation from the company, its brands, products and services are a three-step process. The three steps are: Know a customer, Be a customer, Serve a customer. (My comments – we do not have such things in our word culture.)

                                      Yesterday My Refrigirator faced an issue in cooling. The Service person came and checked the product and told that the timer kit is the issue and also gas leakage. But after filling the gas its working fine but unnecessarly they changed the timer kit. The main part is they charged me Rs.4800/- and cheated me. Its take that much charge for changing the timer kit and filling the gas. My contact number is[protected]. My SR number is :- CN[protected] My complaint is attended by :- SMART Services, Mr.Lakshmi Narayanan, (contact no.[protected]) No.2/81, Gangai Amman Koil Street, Okiyam Thoraipakkam, Chennai-600097. If required i am ready to share the bill copy, image of the parts changed. Because of that i lost the trust about the Whirlpool.
