The two front leg supports got broken at home and I requested replacement rom the company. The refrigerator is under guarantee. I lodged complaint on 28th October 2013 and was given complaint number 15363. Nothing happened and I rang up regarding the same and I was another complaint number 07132 on 11th November, 2013. As on today, that is, 23 rd November, nothing has been done.

    I had bought a Whirlpool Microwave oven, Model - Magicook-2G (Elec) on 9 jan 2011. After Six months while cleaning the microwave oven, I got the 'removable glasscover of the door of the appliance' got broken. Since then I have been trying to get it repaired by getting a new glass cover, but the response of the customer care had been so negligent that I have stopped using the appliance and packed it. Now I don't even use it. I had alomost call more than 25 times the actaul customer care including escalation but all had been waste. It is disheartening to continuously try for something and getting nothing. Now I am least interested in Whirlpool products because of pathetic response of your customer care. Anyway by just having another attempt through this forum I want to make sure that everyone should understand the actual the reality. I have attached all details.

      Just before Diwali, the WhirlPool Professional Fridge (by no means a cheap one) broke down. The person came and seemingly repaired it...it just shut down again. This time for good. Ofcourse, they could not say when they could put it right because the spare part (a PCB unit) was to be procured from Pondecherry.It has been 10 days since. Ofcourse, in between we got embroiled between the two service agents. We had signed up with Shree Enterprises (who took the cheque from us) while SSR Engineers were supposed to service us. When asked about the delay, we were informed by Shree Enterprises that we must take up the matter with Mr. Whilpool as they are the ones who actually took the money from us!!! wonderful. And, Whirlpool calls itself a consumer products company. This is totally unacceptable. Meanwhile, we spent a Rs. 13 K and got ourselves a small fridge to tide over the matter. An American Company can be so callous to consumer requirement. They outsource customer service (the most important part of consumer product) to one agency who then outsources it to another... Not sure where the buck really stops. What can be done?

        My whirlpool refrigerator WRN32RGG3 bought about 9 years ago developed
        cooling problems in-September 2009..The service staff from Jayem
        Associates, Whirlpool Authorised Service Centre, Alwaye, who checked
        it stated the problem to be the faulty motor of the cooling fan. The
        fan motor was replaced at a cost of- Rs.2400. The cooling problem was
        not solved. The senior mechanic who came next said the
        Damper-Thermostat and the Timer had to be replaced. This was done
        after taking the fridge to their service centre, at a cost of Rs. 2500
        plus transportation charges. We have spent a total of Rs. 5180 on
        useless repairs. Inspite of all this, the problem was not solved.
        Another senior mechanic who came next said the problem could be due to
        insufficient gas .After a lot of phone calls and arguments, it was
        again taken to the service centre. After a few weeks they stated it
        was working perfectly, and brought it back. But the poor and faulty
        cooling still persisted, and the fridge became practically useless.

        The service staff were still not able to identify the fault. They
        refused to admit that there was something wrong .We did not expect a
        reputed company like Whirlpool to treat customers in such an
        irresponsible and callous manner.


        1. Ice did not form in the ice tray. The temperature in the upper
        freezer chamber remained at 1degree Celsius.
        2. The thermostat in the freezer is fixed at a particular position. It
        cannot be changed to “cooler” to make ice.
        3. Uncooked fish and meat kept in the lower freezer chamber remained
        half frozen, and could not be used for fear of food poisoning.
        4. The cooked food stored in the body spoiled within a day, as the
        temperature in the chiller and the lower shelves stayed in between 12
        degrees and 14 degrees Celsius

        After suffering for around 6 months, we brought in another mechanic
        who identified the problem immediately.

        The so-called authorized experts had fixed the fan the wrong
        way, preventing proper cooling-After replacing the fan and fixing it
        properly, the fridge works well.

        But will the whirlpool service station or the company compensate for
        the money spent in doing needless repairs by utterly irresponsible
        service mechanics? doesn't the company have any responsibility in
        appointing well qualified and honest mechanics?
        This has given very bad publicity to both Whirlpool brands and its
        service station.

          We have bought the fridge from vijay sales, ulhasnagar, on 31.12.2011for rs.19500/- they gave us fridge with dent on body which we never used and they replaced with another one . the day we bought it has been giving us many problems there is constant leakage of water, which their engineer from pune also couldn't rectify in between twice their mechanic changed the censor then ultimately they agreed that this problem can not be rectify, because there was some manufacturing defect in it till date the floor is always spread with water which comes out of fridge.I have all the record of email which that company sent. agreeing that repairing not possible.they were aware that there is manufacturing defect in the product Kindly help me out.             respected sir,

            my Whirlpool referigerator modle no. 12144
            i have complaint 3 times in your customer care but still i have no response. at first complain my fridge is refilled by your workshop shreya cooling after this repair my fridge is still not working properly. during 2nd complain service engg visit and again he said that your fridge is further repaired or refilled by your workshop shreya cooling after this repair my fridge is still not working from 2 days. they take Rs.1800 for refilling of gas at 24/06/2013 my last complain serial no. JNC[protected] when it was repaired. Still now my referigerator was not working. is it possible that in 3 months the refilled gas is discharged or ended. if they r giving this type of service then how many times a consumer/I give visiting charges or so many expences. if i give this type of charges in every 3 months then the expenses of repairing of fridge is greater than the initial cost of my fridge. and plz tell who is responsible for physical condition or physical damage of my fridge.

              I have taken AMC for my Whirlpool WM 1-2-3 650 D from “Three Sixty Degree Marketing Support Pvt. Ltd ( An authorized whirlpool service partner) on 28 -8-13 for Rs 2605/- package with bill no 5339 and Home care plan : HP06, 417673(The chq no is SBI 307846 dated 28-8-13). The agent name is Mr. Suresh. The money has been debited from my account immediately. On 9-9-13 Washing machine was not working and the complaint was given to Wirlpool customer care. The SR number is [protected]. Mr.Anil, technician attended the complaint and said the power panel got failed and the same need to be replaced. He said he would enquire about the AMC of “Three Sixty Degree Marketing Support Pvt. Ltd to replace the part. Since then almost more than one month has been surpassed, and making more than a half a dozen calls to service center, the problem has not been rectified and saying that AMC has not been updated so far and the complaint has been closed abruptly. This is clearly subjecting to customer dissatisfaction and gross negligence from the Whirlpool company service pool. I request service manager to look into the matter and attend immediately.                   This is to lodge a formal complaint with Whirlpool regarding my refrigirator with following details
                  Serial number of my refrigrator is : - INA[protected] Litres FF refrigirator.
                  I contacted customer care on[protected] today i.e.,[protected] in the morning to lodge a complaint about my fridge not working. SR No = MB[protected]
                  Service Engineer attended and said compressor needs to be changed.
                  I contacted Call Centre where I was informed that compressor is within warranty as on date, i.e., warranty on Compressor is valid up to[protected].
                  The service engineer has left without replacement of compressor as on date.
                  Kindly do needful from your side to inform your Service provider, i.e., M/s INDICO ENGINEERS, Mumbai to attend the complaint and replace the compressor free of cost as it is still under warranty.
                  Thanks and a reply / acknowledgement to this e-mail would be highly appreciated
                  I have again spoken to the call centre againon[protected] at 8.00 AM, First to to some lady whose name I cannot recall.The the call was tranferred to her senior Mr Pandey Team Leader,
                  I was shocked to hear him say that the warranty status that is still being shown as valid up to[protected] is now to be "rechecked", "Verified" and " if required, Changed". I was asked by him to then talk to someone else in the engneer side to which I refused merely on the grounds that I have purchased my fridge from Whirlpool and my contract with whirlpool rests only with Whirlpool. I have no contract any of your agents etc.
                  Any information that requires to be conveyed to your agents is to be done by whirlpool and not by the end user.
                  I am stiill speachless to know that Whirlpool can stoop so low to change warranty status from[protected] to some back date because a complaint on the compressor has been recived.
                  I once again request whirlpool that the warranty status of my fridge should not be changed under any circumstances and my defective compressor should be replaced without charging any money as it is under warranty.
                  Thus, it appears that whirlpool is short of Rs.5000/- towards the cost of one compressor that you are resorting to such unethical tactics to save yourself this small amount.
                  If Whirlpool agrees that yes, they cannot afford a compressor cost within warranty to keep a customer satisfied because he has rights on this account, then Whirlpool deserves to quit this business and start probably a grocery store. even my local grocer gives better warranty and replacement.
                  I hope I would not have to escalate this issue beyond this into somting legal or otherwise.
                  Known to best service I heared about the company Now turned Nightmare for our family. We 3 persons all are employed.

                  I Bought 410 lts 4yrs back, with 5 years extended warranty, I gave a complaint on 8th may 2014, they came inspected

                  collected money for inspection the came once changed with non compatible compressor, it is also not working,

                  than came up with one offer that nobody can accept it, because if i pay 27000-00 rs they will replace with new one.

                  When my machine with warranty why should i pay the money. I asked them to replace compressor. But it 51 day over they hav not turned up.

                  Since we r employed, the Milk, vegetable, and balance meal all wasted. We r srugling lot because Whipool Company. I am registered Photographer India Shall move to next step. I hv all evidence, receipt, and Voice recoding. Come with solution.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I have purchase RO Purifier of the Whirlpool India. I have take Maintenance Services by agreement for one year of their service center. In this period my RO Purifier get problem, i have make complain in june and july, 2013 period for number of time and executive cam for service change filter all time when he come for service. Still i in August and September i am facing same problem which i am facing before june, 2013. So, No solution come of my problem. in this time period my maintenance service agreement expire. In September, i have complain again for the service, now executive come and give me estimation of Rs.4500 for part replacement in RO Purifier. But this time i ask him about Guarantee of parts, as in last 3 months they have change parts of Purifier 6 times and still solution not come of my problem. But Executive dont give me guarantee of that parts. Than i have talk to customer care for the 25 times but no support given by them to me. Than i talk to Branch Manager here in Ahmedabad for the Solution, but i dont get any proper response from them also. Since last 20 Days my RO Purifier is shut but no one hearing my problem. Now, I want to take legal action against the company. Please advice me in this matter.

                      I had bought Whirlpool RO year back. In the general service carried out 3 months ago service engineer told there was no issue with RO and all filters are in good condition.But immediately after the warranty period (1year) RO stopped working totally. Upon checking Service engineer told 3 filters had gone completely and require a change immediately. I questioned Whirlpool Service engineer how it happened that too immediately after warranty period and the general service had not revealed anything about it (just 3 months ago). Due to this i need to shell out 1500 rupees to fix the filters. Also, the issue raised had been open for the last 10 days. When i questioned about it today morning, the supervisor and executives were telling me that its my responsibility to follow-up. Entire response and attitude of customer care were highly shocking. Hereafter i wont recommend this stupid product to anyone. Entire Whirlpool's cheating plan was revealed by one single statement from the customer care executive - "Whirlpool RO filters need to be replaced once in every 3-5 months". which means we need to pay anywhere from[protected] every 3-5 months. Bought this product for 15k, now i had spent an addition of almost 300 and another 1500 waiting in just 20 days after the warranty expiration. Apart from all the above, highly irritating factor is the tone, attitude, response of customer care.. they are not ready to listen the complaint.. Will someone from Whirlpool take any action??????                         Dear Sir,
                        I had buy a double door fridge from M/s Bharat Electronics bhubaneswar on dt. 7/4/2006, phone no. [protected] in the name of Lalita Devi agarwal. i had made a seven year annual maintenance contract from radiant enterprises sambalpur, for an amount of Rs. 2338/- which is valid for 72 months from the date of purchase, Hence Valid upto 7/4/2013. I had lodge complained from july 2012, in sambalpur, phone no. [protected],[protected]. They agreed after seeing the documents i.e original slip. They came thrice for taking Xerox of documents sending Mr. Ali mobile no. [protected], Mr. Irshad mobile no. [protected], their representative and once i send by bus to sambalpur after their request.
                        Sir, after contacting several times they said they have send the documents to Bhubaneswar head office where the dispute will be settled and u contact Mr. Das Service Manager, mobile No. [protected], already two month passed he tell me to lodge a complain in their toll free no. [protected] and i did, after one month Mr. Das Said we need original bill of the fridge otherwise we could not do anything, i had the original warranty slip of M/s Bharat Electronics and i tried for duplicate bill but they said the documents is very old and we could not provide.
                        I taIk again With Mr. Das he said kindly lodge a complaint it is now Dec 2012, I lodge a complaint again to their toll free no. of Bhubaneswar.
                        After requesting so many times he agreed that ok i will try, after talking several times he said that ok i will try but 60% of the cost will be borne by you against the new fridge, I AGREED, by the time now is April 2013, last month he gave me a offer 0f 17% discount only, after lingering me over a period of 1 year and 3 months.
                        Sir kindly suggests what should i do.
                        The details of AMC are receipt No. 228154, Equipment No. im06055230, appliance serial no. INA[protected], APPLIANCE Model No. 8033, Date of Purchase 7/4/2006. Plan code Chosen 1023331 Plan price 2338/- plan start date 7/4/2007 plan validity 72 month.

                          Hi, I had bought whirlpool fridge on[protected] and the had the PC board malfunction on August-2013. Now the automatic defrost is not working when I buy the fridge I was told its 5years warranty except glass and plastic. But the machine went into problem within 1 and 1/2 years.The product is sub standard one from whirpool.But its cost very high other machines.When I contacted customer care he said only one year warranty its ended now and so I had to pay Rs.1000 for the new board and service charges.Even the board is not readily available it will take one week to deliver Showroom dealers gives false promises and company is the number one worst company in service.So I hereby request the authorities to replace the new pc board.                             I had bought DX 1404 duromax stabiliser. It stopped working after 1year and warranty had expired by that time. When i spoke to whirlpool service engineer, he responded saying we dont provide service to accessories, and i need to purchase new one which will cost 1800/- and comes with 1yr warranty.

                            This is really a worst way of handling the accessories by Whirlpool. They are sure device will work for one year so they giv warranty and after one year there is no service / repair done for that stabilizer.

                            Instead they advice customers to purchase new stabiliser whenever its not working. This is really a STUPIDITY. The cost of new one is 1800/-.

                            Whirlpool expects customers to purchase new one everytime the stabilizer is not working, which is like you pay 1800/- every year because you have taken whirlpool refrigirator.

                            WORST RESPONSE by whirlpool service team. Service team blamed Whirlpool, saying its their policy/guidelines and they are following it.

                              This mail is regarding the issue in AC cooling which we have raised on 13th august and after following up from our side only the issue is not resolved yet. We are not getting response from your support/tech team. We have raised numerous request and all the request has been closed even without informing us due to which we only we have to raise numerous request for a single issue only. We feel like stuck and your support team put us in loop where we are keep on calling on tech engineer from one to another to another. Nobody is ready to take the responsibility/ownership. Our AC has been shipped twice has been shipped to whirlpool Workshop and when it came back after doing followup from our side only, the issue again persist. We have heard no. of excuses like some time engineer is not available, some time parts are not available and some time its raining outside. We have spent the main summer season without AC and after given ample amount of time, i have been forced to write such a mail and whirlpool technical team left me no option except going to consumer court. We have cancelled our personal programs because of wait which your technical team made us to do for visit for AC and after that tech engineer didn't showed us. This is anyhow not acceptable that after waiting for more than one month there is no resolution and no response as well. Now i want to escalate it to externally and internal as well. So request you to please help me in that. We don't feel good to do continuous followups with whirlpool technical team and I am sending you the details of all the service requests raised by us and name of the engineers involved. Please help me in this. Thanks .                                 i bought a new refrigerator on 21/9/2013 from girias coimbatore. when i unpack my package i saw that there was a two bend in the new fridge then customer service came to my home today to show the demo after that i asked about the bend. for that he said that all the product from whirlpool's has bend like this it not a problem.i bought it for 17,500 but he coolly said that.so beware of whirlpool......

                                  There was problem in the Refrigerator(3 doors) which I had purchsed in Feb-2012 from Mangalore. There were several complaints of improper cooling since the purchase. The same service engineer was attending the problem several times . On[protected] there was no cooling in the Middle and bottom compartment. The service engineer had seen and informed that one of the Core box (electronic card) had to be replaced . After mammoth follow up with the stores at Bangalore, Customer care Bangalore, Customer care Harayana the spare reached Mangalore on[protected] . The core box was replaced on[protected] in the evening. After replacing the there was no change in the cooling . The service engineer informed that it will take some hours to get the effect. I informed the service engineer that let us wait for some time to see the performance so that i can pay him for the spare. He refused to wait and demanded he will remove the part fixed after contacting the centre at Mangalore. I also requested him i had to leave to Bangalore at 6.00 p.m and wait for the performance to be checked. He was not ready to listen based on the instruction from the service centre and after a hot discussion he left without removing the new part. After I came from Bangalore on[protected] there was no cooling and added to it the another problem in the freezer also started. This was complianed to the service centre at Mangalore. There are refusing to attend the problem and i told them the service engineer diagnosed the problem wrongly and neither the problem was solved and they are demanding for money for the un attneded problem. The entire issue was referred to the Customer care at Haryana . They were telling the problem would be attended everyday.To my surprise they closed the old complaint and provided me a new complaint number without resolving the old complaint. But till today the problem is not resolved and they are not able to control the service provider at Mangalore. Now from past 1 month I have problems in the Refrigerator . Now whirlpool also is not replying.

                                    I bought this 650d whitemagic washing machine in 2010. It worked fine till last month. I logged a complain. They send the service guy who replaced the PCB and charged 4240 rs. But the next day it again stopped working. I again logged complain. Again the service person came did something and made it work. Now it has stopped working again. I have logged complain again. I think they are not able to figure what the issue is. And also they are not telling the reason why they changed the PCB when it was not the issue. I will never buy a whirlpool product or suggest anyone. Premjit Nambiar [protected]

                                      1 I had purchased a Whirlpool Ice Magic FF 350 REFRIGERATOR Serial No JH 4228703 on 24 May 2005 . At the present point of time the refrigerator is not in the guarantee period but being insured it was deposited with the authorised Whirlpool repair agency ie the Customer Care Service Center ( Plot No 78 , Industrial Area Phase 2 ) at Chandigarh for repairs . Bill No 3929 dated 19 July 2013 for Rs 7300 refers with record of emails and telephonic conversations with Whirlpool SOS Team and Help desk

                                      2 The refrigerator has been partially repaired and I have been told by the Service Center that the defective CONTROL PANEL( for Electronic Monitoring) cannot be repaired even though the Insurance Company is ready to pay for the repairs.

                                      3 All sort frivolous reasons are being given by their mechanic including that ''the refrigerator has been modified to exclude this component!!'' .Page 8 of the manual clearly gives the functions of this important component .

                                      4 I have given numerous telephone calls and emails which are all on record to the Customer Care and the Whirlpool SOS Team but have received no response from them and they are ignoring the issue as the repair agency appears to be in cahoots with their Customer Care.Apparently the Service Centre and the Whirlpool Customer Care expect me to accept a partially repaired refrigerator. I have a record of the entire transaction and am being forced to ask for redressal from the Consumer Court.
                                      I also advise people to be extra vigilant before buying any item of the Whirlpool Company.

                                        Dear Sir, Our bill No 873 From Supreme elctronic they had attemptted and problem not solved. We had called several time to this no [protected]. Eevery day his saying morning and evenining like we had spenede more than 500 rupees for mobile bill and we had stay one person when his telling the timing. But his not turned up and we had mentally so much obsected. While asking to give main whirlpool office he said u have to go hotel back side near rani ganji and we went that adress searched on that place we have not got the same.After words we called his no but his not responded and his asking how u paid ur spaeking that much.His not platform or out side person to dimand the amount.Company had been appointed him to attend the company customers complaint. Who is coming for repair that persons also demanding the money to give 200 or more for just attending tips. We had lossed more than 20000/- personally and metally becouse his not attended and his way of response. Still so for our problem not solved. Please conform who is going to attend the same and who is going to pay our loss amount. WE ARE WAITING FOR UR REPLY
