I have purchased a Whirlpool frost free fridge (Model NO 8057) on[protected]. I have taken home care plan which is to expire on[protected]. On 03-09-12, my fridge ceased to work and a complaint was registered on[protected]CO[protected]). They undertook some sort of repair and charged me a hefty amount in the name of consumables. The fridge never worked properly and complaints were registered on[protected]No CO[protected]) and on[protected]CO[protected]). The fridge was not repaired. Further I spoke to their Customer care on 23-11-12 and they booked another complaint based on my email complaint(CO[protected]). But since then no action was taken by the company. I could not proceed further on this matter with the company as they have locked my account and access denied to my calls by their interactive telephone system.

    we bought a whirlpool refrigerator from lotus electronics bhopal date of 25/03 /2010. it was our very big mistake to buy this company product. from the begining the refrigerator was not working properly. we compained to whirlpool so many times. company engineer comes but refrigerator is still unsatisfactory. and not working properly. you may check the records of our complaints.we spend a lot of time and money. you are requested to do the needful please help and suggest.

    Whirlpool / Refrigerator — malfunction of refrigerator

    our 380 litre fridge was to be repaired under warranty ,the complaint was lodged on 28 aug and the service department did not find time before 31 to ifx the problem,they replaced the compressor and charged approx 2100 Rs for certain parts which were not covered under warranty the refrigerator is still not working despite the sservice engineers comung number of times,the service people do not respond to the phone calls.all ourstuff has gone bad but the company does not give a dam about it.

    big companies like whirlpool have dual standards in india they give such poor service that i will never again buy there products due to lack of service support.

    whirlpool/refrigerator — DELAY IN SERVICING A REQUEST

    i have bought a whirlpool refrigerator 230 ltrs about in 2004( from fairdeal international-kolkata) .Now on 7/11/2007 i found out that the refrigerator is not working . the display on the top of refrigerator is off.I called up the call center number and in 3 days(11/11/2007) the service personal came to inspect and informed me that my refrigerator pcb circuit board has a problem and need to be changed.I have been charged rs.280 for his visit.But till 21/11/2007 no one came to change it.When i have called the service center number they are delaying the delivery of pcb board.

    i had brought this 190litre refregirator with serial number INC[protected] on 24.11.01 it was properly functionin butn before some 2 months it had started to freeze totally, an now its not coolin at all.all the items in the fridge r gettin spoilt.i want this to be repaired r replaced at thhe earliest.i hope u consider my complain an attend it at the earliest.

    Whirlpool / Refrigerator — non receipt of refrigerator after making complete pyt

    Dear Sir

    Its amazing how companies such as whirlpool with such hige marketing and advertising budgets can afford such lousy customer service. The service is truly beaurocratic and all complaints fall on deaf ears. Can't imagine how the company is still surviving and how people are still buying there products but i am sure the way they are going it won't be too long before they are exposed.

    In my case i paid Rs 5000 as advance for a 405 ltr elite Model at Seyno Enterprises, hall Bazar, Amritsaar. Complete pyt of balance Rs 26, 000 was made on 19th may with assurance that the refrigerator will be delivered to my place in Phagwara (100km from amritsar) in 2-3 days. I waited and waited and called them at least 200 times every time to get an excuse. They are so inefficient that every time they promise to call back in 5 mins and never do so and now they have stopped attending calls. i have cell phone details to prove how many call i have made them but these people are just not listening. I am prepared ti sue them and take them to the law for this...THIS IS BULL !!!

    Whirlpool / Refrigerator — Customer Care has spoiled my Fridge

    My Fridge had a gas blockage problem to resolved that problem they charged me Rs 1125/- on 07-July, 2009.
    with a warranty of 3 month. but the problem is not yet fixed and now they are asking me pay 1550/- more to replace my fridger box which is spoiled by their engineers.

    if they could have told me that the fix of the problem will cost me Rs 2675/-
    then instead of paying them Rs 1125/- for no fix I would have proffered to replace the fridge with the new one.

    Whirlpool/ refrigerator — New refrigerator purchase last week doesnot seems to be No. 1 product.

    Sir,
    We purchase a new refrigerator 310 ltrs from one of the dealers of whirlpool on 16/07/09. During installation we found many points which suggest this is not a new product from the company. So we pointed that same to the people who came to install. They informed us to report to the shop, which we did. The onwer informed us this is a brand new refrigerator. Then we checked in detailed and there are many points, which suggest that this is either a No. 2 product of the company or a repaired One. Next day we called the whirlpool representative to check about these points. He said this couldn’t happen because as the products are quality checked before dispatch. Then I informed him about my observation, on this he agreed to send a service Engineer to clear my doubts next day. I also told him that we will bear the cost of his visit. We waited the whole day but nobody came. We again called the service engineer but said I am on the way. After 3 hours we again called, now this guy not picking up the mobile. We tried from another no. he picked the phone but did not speak. After we tried many tines to call him but no response. Finally at 3.00 PM he picked the mobile and informed us that he has some urgent work so he is leaving to Chennai and will come to our house on Monday.
    The whole episode and conversation with the dealer again has added my suspicion because now the dealer is ready to replace with another piece but then we have to give him an undertaking that we will not have any complaints.
    Now we are waiting for the service engineer to come on Monday, which I know will not happen. So I would like you to guide me to proceed further to break the nexus between the dealer & service engineers and customer gets the good product. I am ready to go to any extend and ready to do anything to get justice.

    I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator model 175 Carona Elite Sr. No. INC04162032 Bill no . 837 from Trade N Tade, Fhafhadih naka, Raipur(CG) on dtd. 12.05.2004. Becuase of fridge not working propoerly local mechanic do the job & come to know that the compressor w'ld be duplicate compressor no. PAZM34TD22B.At present refrigertor not working properly till. Kindly confirm the same & do the necessity.

    I have purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator 315 ltrs in the month of Apr 09. However, within 02 months of purchase the tray in the freezer compartment has cracked. Initially I was told that the tray is not part of warranty. I took up the matter with the customer care of Whirlpool and I was assured that the tray will be replaced free of cost as it had cracked within a short period of purchase. Inspite of writing 03 letters till date the tray has not been replaced. Whatever claims the company can make in its website about after sales service is not fitting in my impression of the company. It is not a major issue for the company, but a prompt action would have made me shift brand loyalties towards the company.

    Refrigerator — COOLING NOT PROPERLY

    i have lodged complaint on 9th march 2010 . my whrilpool fridge compreeser got repaired .company mechanic visited the refreigreator on 9th .he told it will cost around rs.2250 so we told him we have to think and we need one day .we told on 10th march 2010 to come and repair . he told me it will take three days to get it repaired today is 15th march we received no response . we are getting really very irrated with their response in customer care .we are using whirlpool wqashing machine too. for that too there was very delayed response for repair .what type of response you are giving for your valuable custome.we are residing in chennai metropolitan city

    I have purchased one Refrigerator and Washing Mechine on 14.02.2010 at M/s.Saravana Store in Chennai. Refrigerator was installed in our home and worked few days. It has got problem in cooling, light is gloring but no cooling. One week passed but no body has attended to solve the problem. You are well aware that this is the time for use refrigerator.     i have lodged complaint no lko[protected] of my double door fridge on 26.04.10. fridge has been taken by your workshop on 17.05.10 due to non removal of problem although bill has been charged by them for gas. since then i am trying to contact at phone no 2581044 but unsucceeded. i presume that fault is not at your kanpur workshop level, please intervene in the matter. your lucknow offfice is just enquiring on my mobile & assuring to do the needful, but all in vain. for timebeing a small fridge is given without gate of freezer which is consuming electricity all the time. please look into the matter immediately.

    Whirlpool / Refrigerator — non adherence of service

    I had purchased a Whripool Refrigerator on April 24th,2007 , A month later a tecnicial from the company visited me explain the benefit of extra paid warranty & service for 4 years after normal warranty expried. on his word I paid him money againt Bill No. 3473 dt. 28/06/2007 Rs. 2350/-. Subsequently I received a letter from the company - Service Contract No. HG07015941, Plan Code 1023213, start dt. April 23,2008 expires on April 22,2012. The letter also mention the 4 nos. visit date. in month of June,2010 when I contacted them regards to non adherence of their service I received a very rude answer from their SatishAppayya Desmane who was calling him as area head, that we have stop OR whether we have cancel the plan of extra paid warranty & service. even i had mailed whirpool comsumer cell ([protected]@whirpool.com) on 22/04/2010 butt till date their is no word from their end.Request you to look into my matter & help me to recover my money with Interest.

    Whirlpool Refrigerator — No cooling

    I purchased a whirpool fridge on 3.4.2007 - 450EL-Inox for Rs. 36900/- from Vijay sales. For the last one year I am facing lot of problem as it is not cooling & stuff kept in it gets rotten. I have been complaining regularly. Since then and have been paying for visiting charges, parts(kapillary, drain tray, gas refilling) which amounts to nearly Rs. 3500 but all in vain as the fridge was still not giving satisfactory cooling. In Nov. '11 again I lodged a complaint & after lots of pursuation with Co. their sevice engineer visited. He told me that the compressor of the fridge was not working properly. It was changed (perhaps by a refilled compressor & not a new one) by the Co. as it was under 5 yrs. warranty. It worked for about a month that too with lot of noise all the time. Again it is not cooling & complaint was lodged. Service Engineer who visited on Sunday (25th March '12) told that its gas has choked & that it would be set right on Monday. But till writing of this complaint no one has come to set right the fridge despite my repeated requests to their main call Centre & their authorised service partner(Mr. Viraj at Sanpada, Navi Mumbai) At various times for lodging complaint one has to wait for nearly 5-10 minutes hearing their adds & even leaving a message for contacting, they don't bother. This is a serious matter which may be looked into. It may also be looked into that since the compressor was not working properly, why parts were changed & I was charged for them. Even after changing parts the fridge was not not functioning properly & stuff(veg/non-veg) kept in it was turning stale & rotten. My complaints with your call Centre/service centre at Mulund at regular intervals would gauge my problem. Perhaps service engineers who visit are not experienced or qualified enough to find the exact fault & change parts for which poor customer who don't have technical know how suffer both financially & eratic functioning of the fridge. It is my sincere request that this may be attended urgently.

      I can purchase one fridge 3 door PROTON for Rs.27,100 on 3.5.2012 from vivek limited north us man road, T. nagar ,chennai for past 15 days the fridge will not working properly. The freezer not in freeze and also not cooling in other two doors. Within guaranty period i.e.3.5.13 i make call to whirlpool customer care and they send a person who is not responsible in that date and again i make so many calls to the particular person (i don't no his name) and customer care. On 5..5.2013 one person came to my home and check the fridge and he want money to replace some parts in fridge. But i wont accept it. I told him i can report within guaranty period and also the customer care send me a message on that particular date i.e.3.5.13. and show the message to that person. Then he go to talk some his superior and check the fridge and go away. Then the same problem arise .Again i make a. call on 11.5.2013. what can i do. i am going to senior city zen. I am suffering from lot of mental agony. please i request u to kindly arrange me to replace the fridge and to provide NEW GOOD QUALITY FRIDGE.

        Hi ,

        We have Whirlpool double door refrigerator purchased in 2009 and it is giving sound when we turn it on.
        This was the complaint created on 22nd April, 2013 with Complaint number 14925.
        On 23rd April some technician came to our house and did something and told some part needs to be replaced.
        Even after calling your technician they say it will take 1 week time.
        The 1 week completed and its May 6th today.

        I think one can imagine how hard its to live without a refrigerator after living with this for these many days.

        On May 6th I created one more complaint and as per the customer service executive a new complaint was registered and escalated and had been given high priority.
        2nd Complaint number is 03211.

        On May 7th one of their technician called us and said as the motherboard is not available and motherboard will be available after 15th June, 2013.
        And he also said that he can do a temporary solution which cost 1900 Rs till they get the mother board by keeping a hole to refrigerator backside and do something.

        And when they receive the mother board we need to pay again for the mother board.

        What a poor , disgusting, pathetic service is this.

        I have mailed them and responded to me on 6th May asking for my mobile number so that they will need more details.
        I replied them back with my mobile number but there was no reply for mail nor there was and call.

        What a poor , disgusting, pathetic service is this.

        Why should Indian Market entertain such kind of companies who do not provide service at all..

        Could you please assist me in handling this issue.

          I Aloknanda Dasgupta had bought a 1.5 split air conditioner on 25th may 2013 there was a lot of problem after the installation of the machine and with repeated comlaints the compressor had to be changed twice by thecompany before the machine started working. This year with the onset of summer the machine was not working and I booked a complaint on 13th April 2013. An engineer named Raja Samanta visited within a few days and after checking said that the compressor was faulty and has to be replaced and it will be done within a week. The compressor has not yet been replaced even after repeated reminders and requests. I have a very serious patient at home who is suffering immensely due to the heat please take immediate action and get my problem resolved

            We bought the Whirpool Refrigerator Double Door
            Model Number:340 lt_NEOIC355 TCGB4 SWIS SI
            Serial Number:W[protected] on the 10 of Feb 2013......On delivery itself the Door had a (Damage) Dent.And from the 2nd week some weird loud noise stared coming From the Compressor motor..when switched ON. The customer service people are just a pain... they on the 2nd complaint... removed the whirlpool Motor fan and replaced with a Panasonic Motor Fan.....and still the problem has no solution....Who ever is the concerned person please take the necessary action as soon as possible....because The service people at Whirlpool are ARROGANT and just Hopeless... pointing fingers to each other.. regretting buying Whirlpool Product.Will never reccomend to any one.....

              i have purchased a washing machine 652sd 5 months before & its dryer is not working. i have logged a complain on 2nd of april for my washing machine but without making it they have closed my complain & i have relogged it on 11.4.13 no. rp[protected]. what a worst service they are giving. my machine is off from one month & nobody is ready to hear about it.

              I purchased Whirlpool 6.5 L with MES on 04/05/2011 from M.K agencies ,Anand Comples, Sector 17-A,Chandigarh.

              Last month(August 2011) i got a call from a number 0124-******** regarding a free service and asked that lady to send service person on a particular day to come.Again a got a call from a local service centre regarding coming of service guy and recieved a msg with a name of the service guy.but to my surprise nobody visitied to my place till date and i recieved a message that Service request is closed.
              Again on the 2ndof September i sent a mail for reuqest of my free service............and the entire the episode happened again.........without any visit i recieved a message the my call has been closed in the system................Great experience.

                I have purchased New Whirlpool Machine from Viveks Show room double road Bangalore on 19th of April.Till today no DEMO executive have visited my palce to educate about washing machine usage.Instead of making two complaints calls to service center and the compalint are 10197 and 1160.I have been receing falls promise call from DEMO execuetive assuring that they would be visiting to my home from 4 day and they never turned up.

                    Your engineer Mr. Rajan / Mr. Sunil 91 – [protected] called for the third time in the past thirty days to repair our (Whirlpool Washing machine 12303 and SPIN601 Model) at the above address, and I am still without a working machine.
                    He was unable to carry out the repair once more because the spare part (type/description/ref) was again not compatible He himself confirmed that spare parts cannot able fix. Without Washing machine very difficult to handle the situation.
                    Your engineers have been excellent as always, but without the correct parts they can't do the job required.
                    Can I ask that you look into this to ensure that the next service visit, arranged for, resolves the matter?
                    If not able to solve the issue, it is coming under warranty period you can very well replace a NEW Machine. Otherwise I can go for a legal.
                    I greatly appreciate your help.

                    Whirlpool-washing machine — Not working

                    Bought a whirlpool washing machine top loading last year . The shopkeeper had all good to say about the product and since whirlpool is a big known name in the market fell for it in spite of the very bad experince I had with their refrigerator which got repaired consecutively for three years from the first year of purchase. The service people from my town who used to be good before are running around not able to attend to the number of complaints off late. After repeated requests for two weeks they appeared and repaired the machine which worked exactly for two days and has gone bad again. I have again informed them today, but do not expect them to turn up soon. My experience with whirlpool has been expectionally bad and I vouch I shall never buy their product here in india.                         This is to inform you that I am using the Whirpool Refrigerator since years, every year I had to putting gas in it.

                        No one from the your side had check why this problem been occurred every year. No one doing their job sincerely. Every time I complaint regarding cooling problem your engineer put gas in it, some days it's works but after some days problem remain same.

                        My last complaint was for same cooling problem, the engineer without checked why gas leaking from where he start filling gas in the compressor, after filling the gas I told him please check why this leaking problem have been occurred every year.

                        Then he started checking and found the near about the coil there is leaking. Who will compensate my money all money I spend on the gas, nobody checking main problem.

                          We purchased the fridge last year. Right from the first month we started noticing water puddle being formed on the floor of the fridge spoiling all the vegetables. We registered a complaint. It was solved for that day. The problem persisted and many complaints were made and many times, it was fixed temporarily. Post warranty, I was charged Rs. 5000 to change parts promising a permanent fix. Again the water is seen and this time on complaint, no body is ready to come and solve the problem

                          Worst part is that every time the complaint is made, we are asked to shut down the fridge for a couple of days causing us great trouble.

                                Dear Team,

                                I had purchased Whirlpool Refrigerator in 6-7 years back and it worked fine for 3 years.

                                Then it started giving problems of auto defrost. I started logging complaints to whirlpool and they advised that it has blocked drainage pipe.Whirlpool technicians just poured hot water from inside the refrigerator and said that it shall not happen again.

                                But the problem continued and still persists. Every-time technician would come and would do the same process of hot water.I continued to ask technicians if there is problem with the part pls replace but they said its absolutely fine.

                                Recently (Oct 12)one of the technician (same technician who used to say that there is no fault in any part) visited and replaced one part which they call as " BIOMETAL" and said that it will no solve problem for ever and this part has warranty of 6 months.

                                But recently (in March 13) problem has started again (i.e. water leakage inside the fridge) and I lodged complain with Whirlpool customer care and technician visited. He said that there the problem has nothing to do with Bio-metal, so I asked if it is not associated with Bio-metal then why you people have changed the part even if it is associated then pls replace the part. The technician said that he need to confirm with service centre and shall come back. But he has never came back.

                                In summary I have been paying service charge approximately Rs 395 per visit so many times plus Bio-metal part Charges (Rs 850) for the problem mentioned above but still the problem is not resolved yet.

                                I request you please help me to get my things done or take some legal action or what action I can take against the company.

                                Moreover whirlpool provided the number of Branch Coordinator Mr. Kapil- [protected] and Service Centre No- [protected].

                                Mr. kapil is not at all bothered to pickup his phone and service centre no is switched off.

                                I have same problem which is mentioned above
                                (1) first they have changed the timer and at the time repeated problem ask for the reciept but by grace of god it was available in their record .But it was new but more than 3 months old.
                                Then service enginerShri Ashok stated that Bio Metal is out of order that is has to replace .This was replaced vide receipt no 1488 dated 25/3/2016 at 16 hrs J.K.Enter priceses GurgaonRs850/- . Alothough this has warrant yof 3 months but we cant give any gurantee as per mechanical rule both(Timer and Bio Metal) should be replaced.
                                Since the fridge275Liters is more that 5 year old, we can not do AMC Now. in these days Life is not more than 5 yeras .I have a question if it is Marketing or Markutting (customer ko kashto se mar do )

                                  I had bought a refrigerator(Model No. Frost Free MM 26ZX 250 Lts) one year before from JAINSON Electronics, Karaikudi, Tamilnadu. I would like to bring to your notice that I've registered a complaint. The main issue is our refrigerator is not working due to some internal circuit board failure. But the problem started right beginning from complaint registration. I had registered a complaint on 28 Feb 2013 & received confirmation SMS from Service Center[Code is 885 for SR number CN[protected]]. Later I ha been waiting for their response almost for 10 days. After many calls they said they never received any complaints before! & so they will log it as new complaint on 10th Mar 2013[Code is 037 for SR number: CN[protected]]. I couldn't expect this kind of service from them. Such a irresponsible replay from their Customer care. Now almost 10 days has gone till no proper answer from their side. Refrigerator is an one of the essential home appliances, so whirlpool should have taken prompt action. Just imagine a home without refrigerator for almost a month! A reasonable approach to this would have been diagnosed the issue & let us know exact time period to solve this issue. Instead of doing this, there is no point of keep telling 'we will solve your issue as soon as possible..'.

                                  You are not serious to take any correct action to resolve this issue. I'm really very disappointed from your side. I never & ever recommend whirlpool to any my friends & relatives. Such a pathetic experience.

                                    I would like to bring to your notice that i had registered a complaint on the 13th Dec 2012 vide complaint no. CN[protected]. The issue was with my whirlpool window 1.5 tonne Air conditioner. The technician had visited and diagnosed the issue as failure of the compressor. He had mentioned that the compressor was under warranty and promised to replace the same. Further to that 2 weeks after many followups, we were told that there is no stock of the replacement. The call center details reveal that the complaint was closed on 10th Jan 2013 stating there was no replacement available. Till date there has been no revert from your side. I am appalled by the lack of dedication in resolving a issue which has been pending for over 2 months now. I have been a loyal whirlpool patron using most of your domestic appliances. This will be my last attempt to resolve the issue failing which you will leave me with no choice but to approach the consumer forum/ grievance redressal cell. I have again booked a complaint today 05th Feb 2013 vide complaint no. CN[protected]. Request you to do needful.

                                    I am a loyal customer of whirlpool and i buy all my cooling system equipments only whirlpool. last 10th jan i bought a Split A/C from One of your dealer (Rathna Stores, Purasaivakkam, Chennai) and it was delivered on 11th Jan, I called the Cust. care and asked for Demo. but the engineers came on 20th Jan and they found the indoor unit was full of dust and when looks like it is a old/demo piece, Also i found that there is no remote control and manual book. i was totally upset that the way i saw the product and i immediately called the CC and informed the same. they told me that the complaint was taken and Whrilpool will do needful. i called the next day and i found that the issue was escalated to branch office. I got the branch office number and i spoke to Service Supervisor, also i sent the bill copy for reference. So i faxed the bill copy immediately. he confirmed me that he will send the replacement indoor unit on 24th Jan. but we didn't received the unit yet. so i called the branch office, but there is no response.I paid the unit but i don't have the unit fixed for last 14 days, is this the kind of service whirlpool provide their customers ? Today i was waiting that any one representative will call and inform about the replacement part but no one does. i was completely frustated the way whirlpool is treating me. I am ashamed to see that customers are being treated with your service. it is a costly pain that i got from Whirlpool.                                     I have bought one Window Ac in the f.y .2007-08 and also taken Annual Maintenance contract from Whirlpool. Annual Maintenance form No. is 037351 and period is 10th July,2008 to 10th July,2012.
                                    We faced some problem in Ac (Low Cooling). We informed on the Customer care no . of Whirlpool on 30th March,2010. And got the Compliant No. HR[protected] .
                                    We chased them next three day and finally one person visited to our home on 3rd and he found that Gas lekage problem is there in the Ac and he advice that he will come again and take the AC at his workshop but after that no one turn up .
                                    Since 4th April,2010 we are chase with whirlpool and given call to no. of person but no one is ready to listen our problem. We have given no. of calls to Manna[protected]/538 & Mr. Prakash [protected] & Mr. Rakesh & at least 50 calls to there customer care No.
                                    We are not getting response . I wrote email to both the email id even I got the id of Mr. Dinesh_ mittal company secretary of Whirlpool but till today after noon the call is not attended so far.
                                    Kindly help us advice so that our problem will get resolve at the earliest.
