Hi ,
We have Whirlpool double door refrigerator purchased in 2009 and it is giving sound when we turn it on.
This was the complaint created on 22nd April, 2013 with Complaint number 14925.
On 23rd April some technician came to our house and did something and told some part needs to be replaced.
Even after calling your technician they say it will take 1 week time.
The 1 week completed and its May 6th today.
I think one can imagine how hard its to live without a refrigerator after living with this for these many days.
On May 6th I created one more complaint and as per the customer service executive a new complaint was registered and escalated and had been given high priority.
2nd Complaint number is 03211.
On May 7th one of their technician called us and said as the motherboard is not available and motherboard will be available after 15th June, 2013.
And he also said that he can do a temporary solution which cost 1900 Rs till they get the mother board by keeping a hole to refrigerator backside and do something.
And when they receive the mother board we need to pay again for the mother board.
What a poor , disgusting, pathetic service is this.
I have mailed them and responded to me on 6th May asking for my mobile number so that they will need more details.
I replied them back with my mobile number but there was no reply for mail nor there was and call.
What a poor , disgusting, pathetic service is this.
Why should Indian Market entertain such kind of companies who do not provide service at all..
Could you please assist me in handling this issue.

Whirlpool / Refrigerator — malfunction of refrigerator
our 380 litre fridge was to be repaired under warranty ,the complaint was lodged on 28 aug and the service department did not find time before 31 to ifx the problem,they replaced the compressor and charged approx 2100 Rs for certain parts which were not covered under warranty the refrigerator is still not working despite the sservice engineers comung number of times,the service people do not respond to the phone calls.all ourstuff has gone bad but the company does not give a dam about it.big companies like whirlpool have dual standards in india they give such poor service that i will never again buy there products due to lack of service support.
