I have purchased a Washing Machine of Whirlpool Washing Machine Co on 21.07.2012 from M/S Harsha, Udupi. On 13.07.2013, the machine stopped working and I have lodged a complaint (BG[protected]), but the machine has not been repaired till today (27.07.2013); even after 14 days. If this is their response during the warranty period, what to say about the future service. I have been repeatedly calling their Service Centre at Udupi[protected]; but in spite of the best efforts, the engineer could not fix the problem. Ultimately I rang up their representative at Bangalore, one Mr Murali ([protected]);, who eventually expresses his inability to resolve the issue and informs that his higher ups will contact me; but as expected, nobody bothered to attend to the complaint.

Washing Machine — this company has very poor service

My name is K.J.SRINIVAS RAO.I am resident of H.No:1-10-238, , Brahmanwadi, Begumpet, Hyd-016.
I have bought an IFB Washing Machine 6kgs Digital from Bajaj Electronics, Hyderabad.I have bought it on[protected] and the servicemen came on monday to install & he didnt even explained about the machine clearly & he had broke my tap & he didnt know the plumbing work.I didnt know that how you people are appointing unqualified person for such a big company.I ashamed to see that practical experience & the spin is not working and i have already complained your customer care they have messeged me a ticket no.2326273.
Yesterday one technician came to my house he has said that there is a circuit problem.I thought that this is such a good company and a branded but i know the fact that is nothing this product is zero and i have thought to recommend my friends but i am feeling ashame to recommend them about this product.I have brought it before 7 days an it started to give trouble me now itself.u people please take action on this complaint

Whirlpool Washing Machine — poor service

To Whirlpool authorities,
I am a customer of whirlpool for more than 18 years and have never faced such a situation before. I am Goutham from Parrys Ph no: 25260662, [protected] and have been using your products namely fridge and washing machine And am under your annual maintenance care ( AMC ) for both . i m majorly dissapointed with your service in the past months. i have been saying this as i am suffering badly with the washing machine repair since more than a month. i have complained ample and countless number of times to your customer care executives .The complaint numbers are : CN[protected], CN[protected]. I have spoken to your executives on and off, and i have been put down by their responses like "The worshop people will call you", "someone will attend to you very soon ", " sorry for the inconvenience ", "i will make sure the work will be done in a couple of days". These are the repeated words said by your people in the company . and morover without any action being taken, not even one person from your company has come over and seen the condition of the problem nor attended to the calls or emergency when required. i have been paying AMC every year and i now regret of doing it looking at your services and customer care handling.
It is no joke that i call the customer care executives every alternate day to find what is happening to the complaint wasting money for the phone calls, and every time some other person speaks to me and the same old procedure is followed without any solution .Now, finding no alternative, i have decided to send you a mail . i either want you to attend to my problem immediately ASAP, or send me an alternate temporary washing machine for the inconvenience caused, or repay my entire AMC amount . Otherwise it wont take me much time to move to the consumer court for all the mental and physical pressure & destruction caused by your people. i hope at least this mail is attended...

Whirlpool Washing Machine — service is very very poor

Sir, I am using a washing machine of whirlpool. But there was some
Problem with its washing tub so the technician of this company had taken
It to service center to repair/change. But now they took about two months
And there is no response by them. I have also made so many calls to customer
Care about it. But they do not tell accurate status about that. They tell that they
have no accurate information about service center and we can’t tell you status about
that Now we have no option to know about our washing machine. It has not done
first time. In every complaint they take lost of time to solve. I fell very sad due to
whirlpool appliances Because its service is very very poor. So you are requested to solve
my Problem as soon as possible. I suggest all the future custumer to not purchase any whirlpool appliances.

Washing Machine — Very Poor Service

While the product still under under warranty, I was asked to buy new machine at 25% discount because spares are not available. Still the machine is down for last 1 month, Engineer visited but asked me to deliver it to the service centre. Regret for having choosen HAIER.

Hi Iam sudhir sharma. I am using whirl pool washing machine for last 12 years.Few days after I bought this machine I started realising that I have done big mistke after buying this comany product.every time my complaint is never attended on committed time. Several time they have taken this machine to the work shop and kept it there for many days because the spare parts were not available and still after that machine has never worked properly for some time. It gives such a big noise that people from my neighbour complaints me about noice coming from my house. Now again it is not working and I have lodged complaint on 2nd feb (comp. no. gb[protected]) but my problem has not been rectified yet even after my repeated request. Now I think I should throw this machine in front of their office forget about it. But I always suggest my friends not to buy this companies produts because their service is worst in the world.
i bought an whirphool washing machine on 2007 after 6 months i am facing many problems in the machine till date.if i place a complaint to the coustercare he will attend the problem only after 10 days only, within the time i will use to call them daily he will tell some reason after diagnosing the problem they use to tell, i will bring the spares within 2 days but they wont come, then i start calling them daily for the first week they will attend my call and tell some reason after the 1 week they wont attend my call then i start calling them using new numbers daily.this is my present status with my washing machine.today also i got a problem in my washing machine and i place a complaint to the customercare and i am waiting for the response.in my 25-30 years experience i didnt see such a worst electronic company.so plz those who are going to by a washing machine read this and get escape from them

Whirlpool/ Washing Machine — SPARK IN POWER CABLE IN M/C

I have taken Whirlpool fully automatic washing machine, from Sales Corner, Baroda in march 2010. Yesterday spark came from the power cable and smoke from the machine. I have complained and was assured of service guy to be in 2 hours. It is 2nd day today and nobody has called up. I have been given nos. of service guy Deepak B koli with ph no. [protected] [protected]. It is switched of from yesterday, great service. I called up customer care 6 times and then asked the Whirlpools higherups no. as customer care just use to give reminders. They gave me no of some Madam Vaishalli from headoffice, [protected] [protected], again this also switched off. So Whirlpool is very consistent in providing the service by switiching of the mobile so no trouble. I would wait for 1 more day, and then please advise how to go to the consumer court in Baroda and what is the procedure of it. I would also be giving it in newspaper, and would give advise in my company HR department to inform all employees to avoid Whirlpool products. I am with ONGC and this has been provided by the company on lease basis, so advisory to not to go for Whirlpool products, at least due to service.

My compliant number being 4228 Dated[protected] I was not treated properly and the person concerned over there misbehaved with me. The service in-charge Sh. Bhatti. I tried to call him several times but there was no response.

Whirlpool - Washing Machine — Whirlpool - India - Very Very poor Service

On Dec 5, 2010 I have called whirlpool customer care and gave complaint regarding heavy noise while spinning. They told within a day my problem will be rectified. But I didn’t get any response till Dec 11, 2010. So by 11th Dec, 2010 I called customer care twice and I asked for rectification. First they told my problem will solved in one hour but again no response. So again I called them, they told within two hours my problem will solved, but I didn’t get any response. Then I called them by 12th Dec, 2010, No use in it, today also I am calling then continually, but I am not getting any response. I am really not satisfied with this service, I like to escalate this to whirlpool higher officials… please advise me..

whirlpool washing machines — Washing Machines

Dear Sir/Madam,

My shelf Manish Sharma brought a Washing Machine (Company Brand Whirlpool MODEL: 801) Dated 03/11/2010(Having Warranty period of 1 Year). It got defected after six months or so. we register complaint with customer care of whirlpool. they sended their engineer on 24-06-11 and he charged a sum of 80 rupees for a defective part saying it is not covered under warrany and is chargeable. After 15 days or so it again got defected and stop working. we again lodge a complaint to whirpool customer care, again engineer comes on 26-07-11, and charges us a sum of 400 rupees for a defective part, but machine is not yet working properly. We complaint again and again, and they kept us telling that we send engineer. But, no body is coming and hearing our problem.

Sir kindly help me out from this problem. I have all my original bills with me.

      I had purchased a whirlpool double door refrigerator on 18 February, 2013 from Vijay Sales, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. In march end I have noticed that my refrigerator below door is not closing properly and because of that there is very less cooling in the refrigerator. I have made a complaint in April to the whirlpool customer care and they provide me a satisfaction code which I have to give to their engineer after I am satisfied with the solution provided. There engineer visited my residence and said that there is no magnet in the lower door of the refrigerator and that's why the problem arise and said that he will change the part in 2-3 days but even after one week no solution was provided then I again called the engineer and he said that the part is not available to the company and they will replace my product. He said that for processing the replacement he needs the satisfaction code provided to me by the customer care, I provided him the code and he gave me replacement no. 35 and said that I will get the replacement in next 7-10 days. I don't get replacement in another one month and then I again called up the customer care on 31 May, 2013 and they said that my replacement get cancelled and the part is available to the company and they will change the part of the refrigerator, for this complaint they provide me the complaint no. DL[protected] and said that the part will be replaced in next 3 days but I didn't get any call till 12 July and then I again called up the customer care and explained the whole case to them and they said me not to provide the satisfaction code until I get the replacement this time and they provide me a complaint no. DL[protected] for 12 July, 2013 complaint. The engineer visited my residence on 13 July, 2013 and again said the same thing that the part is not available to the company and they will give me the replacement and asked me for the satisfaction code to process the replacement but this time I refused to provide the code and when he insisted for the code I made a call to the customer care and asked him to talk to the executive and the executive again said the same thing to him also that the code will be provided only after replacement. Same day in the evening his senior Mr. Manjeet called me and asked for the satisfaction code and when I again refused then his words are " Madam ya to hamari baat pe vishwas kar lo ya call center walo ki baat pe kar lo, replacement humne deni hai agar code nahi doge to replacement nahi hogi" but I still wait for one week for any response and then I post a complaint online on 21 July, 2013 and on this I have opted to respond me on my mail but the executive respond me through call and again ask me detail regarding my complaint, I explained the whole thing to him and he asked me that to call Mr. Manjeet again and ask him about the status of replacement. I called Mr. Manjeet again today that is on 23 July, 2013 and he said that my replacement can not be processed and the company will change the part when the part is available and till then I have to wait.

      Its already more than 5 months from the purchase and almost 4 months from the date of first complaint and the product is in 1 year warranty. If the situation will remain the same I will never get any assistance from the company in near future also. Kindly help me in getting my replacement done.

      Refrigerator — NON REPLACEMENT OF PARTS

      I HAD LODGED COMPLAINT NO DEL[protected] ON 24TH MAY2009. ONE OF YOUR EXECUTIVE/ENGINEER VISITED ON 25TH MAY AND HE TOLD THAT THE FRIDGER IS TO BE REPLACED WHICH HE WILL DO TOMARROW BUT TILL DATE NOBODY HAS COME TO REPLACE THE PART. ON ENQUIRY OVER PHONE ASSURANCES ARE GIVEN FOR THE NEXT DAY BUT OF

      Whirlpool Refrigerator — No Replacement

      I had purchased whirpool refrigerator from Thirumal Music Center in 2010 February and after just 10 months later there was a fade out of color near handle and the same is informed to the service engineers of whirpool since december, 2010 and since then I had called to one and all supervisors and even mailed to [protected]@whirlp​ool.com and my first mail was dated[protected] and till now no solution found and I had written 11 mails till now to them and a helpdesk operator Ms. Srija had replied two times out of my 11 mails.

      No idea whom to catch and get my problem resolved.

      I think you should first contact to the dealer, if they don't take any action then, you should complaint in the company. If they also refuse your complain then you should register our complain in national consumer helpline.

        With reference to above complaint lodged by me

         First Complaint Logged by me on 15th June (DL[protected]) regarding F3 Fault in my Front Loading Washing Machine and same day service engineer has visited and inform that there is some issue in main controller board which needs to be replaced. Next day service engineer visited replaced the board but problem remains same. Then he informed that there is some problem in “Differential Motor” which needs to be replaced and expected date of replacement is 20th Jun 13. I was following with service engineer from 20th June and got answer that part delivery is awaited. On 30th June 13, I called customer care number and came to know the complaint has been closed with remark “Customer is not available during visit”.

         Same day I've logged another complaint with ID DL[protected]. Again service engineer visited and taken the “Differential Motor”, but till date replacement is pending. I’ve taken many follow-up with Service Engineer but he responded that Part delivery is awaited.

        37 days has already passed and still I waiting for repair of the washing machine.

        It requested you to intervene in the matter and take necessary action against responsible person who did fake closer of previous complaint no. DL[protected]. Also provide timeline for repair of product.

        Whirlpool — No contact no to register a complaint

        I have purchased a whirlpool washing machine last year and there was no one to come and demonstrate and there is no proper contact number to call . And the aqua filter is so waste ., as it is made of cloth it is easily getting teared .Even after replacing with a new one within 2 days its again the same problem .And kindly I want contact number to register a complaint .As the spinner is not at all working .Please send me the contact number.

        Whirlpool of India Ltd/Washing Machine — Motor Replacement

        Dear Sir,
        Our Washing Machine has given trouble on 05/09/2009 and we approached the local authorised dealer of Whirlpool, M/s Seetal Electronics. Their Service Engineer suggested for replacement of motor and charged Rs.1950/- + Rs.275/- = Rs.2225/- vide bill No.:1499 dated 05/09/2009. When the machine was continuously giving trouble, I have a lodged a complaint to the Company on 27/09/2009 and the problem was temporarily resolved and now, it was found that the motor is a recycled one, but not an original one. To that extent, I have sent message to Seetal Electronics to do the needful. Please do the needful.

        Whirlpool India Limited — Horrible Service and defective parts

        Hi,
        I have double door Whirlpool 220 Liters Refrigerator and I have been using it for a couple of years now. The parts of this refrigerator had been changed a couple of times giving an assurance that you would have any problem hence forth. The Parts changed were timer, Bi-Metal Wiring Harness, GNF Heater, GNF Motor, GNF Thermostat etc., This time I faced again the same problem and their engineers visited our house as if doing a visit to our home without identifying the problem. They send 4-5 different engineers every time and each time we need to explain the new guy the problem. They have already charged us Rs 4000 and still I do not know how much more I have to pay since the problem still persists and they are now and then coming and changing the parts. Since it is Summer, perishable items are all spoiled and I am not able to give milk to the baby in the house since it is also spoiled. I have experience the worst ever service from them and still it is going to be second week and my refrigerator is not up and running. My Complaint number is 13347 and there many more complaint numbers since each day they give a new number. Kindly guide us how to proceed with this regards

        Dear sir,

        we have automatic washing machine of your company.Suddenly,it stopped working. we approached Biplab enterprise,local service centre who has not attended. Then we lodged complain on your [protected] on 21.07.2011 , we were told that the mechanic will visit within 24 hours but no one visited whereas our complain no KLO7110120 is registered. Again when we tried this no after 2days we were again informed that someone will visit within 24 hours. When we contacted yesterday 0n 29.7.2011, we were told that earlier complain no is closed,we have to register fresh complain.

        This is not expected from a company which claims of celebrating its 100th years.
        You are requested to look into this.

          respected sir,

          >i hv purchased a whirlpool 350 litre refrigerator model no. JG2464928 vide bill no. 895 dated[protected] by name of smt raj singla from shiva enterprises maur mandi disr bathinda punjab. our refrigerator is not freezing ice and is making alarm noises since 6 months. Local whirlpool service centre Maur Mandi had tried to repair it by replacing module , sensors etc but failed to identify the problem..They just told me to go to district service centre as they are unable to rectify the problem.
          Then I had gone to district service centre of whirlpool Bathinda but they had also made fake commitments to solve the problem but nothing has been done.

          Then I had complained at customer care no. [protected] on 27 june 2013 vide complaint no. CH [protected] and i was assured for the solution of my problm.but no engineer visited or called me for the complaint .then i again called cust care for the same . they told me that they will send urgent reminder to the engineer and he will visit within 24 hours . but nobody visited,then again i called cust care next day , they have registered new complaint vide ch [protected] dated[protected].

          No Engineer visited till date and finaly on dated 13-07-13 an incompetent mechanic visited at my premises to check the product but he could not diagnosed the problem and hence declared that the refrigerator is not repairable.I could not understand what does it mean that the product is not repairble? If somebody purchase a product of a company and after few days the same problem occurs in the product and company's response is that the product is not repairable then think what the customer will feel.

          There is no mechanical damage to the product then how can the company personnel declare it as irrepairable. If the company can not give services then why company is making fool of people. Then the company should sell their product with condition apply that the product is not repairable. So that people should turn to some better companies .

          . I cannot throw my refrigerator worth Rs 25000/- as scrap.

          When company Engineers can manufacture the product then they can also repair it if they are willing to do it positively. Kindly do the needful.

          Refrigerator — NON-REPAIRING OF REFRIGERATOR

          Sir,

          This is to lodge my complaint for non-repair of my samsung refrigerator for tha last 9 days . I had lodged complaint with samsung call centre[protected] days back i.e 3/7/08, BP number - [protected]. The service engineer visisted my home and told me that comprser is defective and needs to be replaced. The service engineer told me that the defective part will be changed in next working days. However it has been 10 days since the complaint the part has not been replaced. I did the call to call centre daily 3or4 times. THERE HAS NOT BEEN ANY RESPONSE FROM ANY OF THE SERVICE ENGINEER. I AM HIGHLY DIS-SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE OF SAMSUNG AND MY FAITH IN THIS BRAND HAS BEEN SHATTERED.           I have registered service agreement with company which is valid till april 2010.My fridge door stopped closing because its hindge plastic broke .I have regisered the complaint on 6/9/9 .complaint no Mb[protected].Till today every day when i call to enquire i am told the technician will definately come today but no one came

          i had whirlpool refregereter purchased 7years ago. I had made complaint for not getting cool on 24/07/09 wide service request no8058 @ Nasik.I had also paid rs 285/- against that a man who came for repairing had told me that Thermostat Should be replaced and told it will be replaced in two three days. But from that date(24/07/09) no one had came to replace the same I had make several calls to their service station ([protected] & [protected] ) they always told it will come witnin two day which is ordered to Pune office But till today it was not replaced.

          Whirlpool — No repair service

          I have a lodged a complaint for rectification of window air conditioner of whirlpool on[protected]. I have been regularly following with call centr daily at least twice. I have sent three e mails to whirlpool HO also but no resonse. My old mother is suffering in this intense heat.
          When I request call centre to put my call to some senior, they tell senior is not available right now. . I requested to give the phone no. of seniors. They intimate that they are not permitted to disclose the numbers
          There should be some penality imposed on the company for each day's delay.

          Also I would like to inform for the benefit of others that whirlpool products are very substandard and people should not buy it. Dealers push this product may be due to high margins.

          Please help me.

          i had complain for refrigrator u send nitesh from pratham services. he came change the compressor on 12.04.2011 . refered by sulekha.com with 1year warranty. after 25days the refrigator not worked. i phone so many times to nitesh and pratam the both no.was false. then i called nitesh his no. was false. then i go to sulekha he send man from weather cool . he refilled the gas it works then after 35 days stop working i call samir from weather cool he came and told this is not my job u have to call pratham because compressor is jam. then i try to find pratam man atlast i find it and i called him he came today and told me u have to pay then i will do . why i have to suffer if it is in warranty u have to do. i already paid money without bargain and u cheat the customer . and sulekha. com people not taking any action. so pl. do the needfull and give me the ans they will do or not.

            ON 05/05/2012, ITS COMPRESSOR STOPPED WORKING. AFTER SEVERAL REMINDERS THE SERVICE ENGINEER CAME AFTER 5 DAYS AND TOLD THAT THEY WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE REFRIGERATOR TO THEIR SERVICE CENTER. AFTER THEY TOOK THE REFRIGERATOR TO THEIR SERVICE CENTER THEY SLEPT AND AFTER MANY COMPLAINTS AND CHASING THEY RETURNED MY FRIDGE AFTER 18 DAYS.ALSO THEY CHARGED ME RS. 1500 FOR COMPRESSOR GAS FILLING.
            AGAIN, ON 10/06/2012, THE COMPRESSOR STOPPED WORKING. THIS TIME THEY CAME AT HOME AND REPAIRED IN THREE DAYS BUT AGAIN CHARGED ME RS. 2000 FOR COMPRESSOR GAS CHARGING.
            NOW, AGAIN ITS COMPRESSOR STOPPED WORKING ON 05/07/2013 AND IT HAS BEEN 5 DAYS AND THERE IS NO IMPROVEMENT. THE SERVICE ENGINEERS TELL TO TAKE IT AGAIN AT SERVICE CENTER.

            Whirlpool Fridge — Compressor in 8 months

            Wirlpool has the lousiest product
            My fridge compressor conked out within 8 months of purchase A brand new product didnot last 8 months SHAME!!!

            My GE fridge is still going strong since 1980 with no REPAIRS whatsoever to-date
            which is now used by ex-wife

            Besides, the staff is ill mannered
            Hang up and dont respect a client calling
            Have no telephone ettiquette and mannerism
            Poorly trained in client services
            Staff just pass the buck to other department
            Service to fix takes week to ten days which is absurd putting families and children's health into jeopardy

            In newly purchased Refrigrator they have installed Small size Fast Chiller tray

            How they instlled Small size Fast Chiller tray in Big Refirgrator

            Inspite our various requests they do not install Also giving me Complaint

            since now one of the machine is working good other is having problems till now i have made almost 15-20 times complain regarding this and all the times your engineers told me that in future you will be not having any problems again. but it won't work and i am still having problems and not satisfied with your product at all ,i thing it has some manufacturing defect that's why all the time it gets dead.

              I have been a long standing customer for Whirlpool washing machine. I had been using semi automated washing machine till 2 years back, and subsequently upgraded to Fully automated washing machine purchased through Vasanth and Co on 2011
              2 weeks back, My Washing Machine Got faulty and we called the customer service . The customer service saw the unit and told that the suspension and heater coil has spoiled and has to be replaced, costing approximately close to 5000 rs.
              I have written to Whirlpool customer service in their feed back section regarding the above problem, but there has been no response so far.

              1) Product quality : I would like to ask whirlpool how can the important components like suspension and heater coil get spoiled with in two years of purchase ? Is this the quality of the products you sell ? Un fortunately this has happened just two months after the warranty period has expired. I want Whirlpool management to look at this issue and request to replace the component free of cost. If not , free of cost at a discounted rate. Whirlpool Brand is well known brand through its legacy and am puzzled by the quality and the service care.

              2) Service Quality, : It is more than 10 days since the Service representative has promised me to return with the spare parts. But till date, they keep on calling me everytime postponing saying that the parts has not arrived. They have pushed the dates 4 times so far without any luck ., Totally appalled by the service and the indifference shown by the Whirlpooll Service department.

              I want Whirlpool Management to take note of this and act swiftly to solve my problem

                I have purchased a Whirlpool frost free fridge (Model NO 8057) on[protected]. I have taken home care plan (i.e. extended comprehensive warranty) which was to expire on[protected]. On 03-09-12, my fridge ceased to work and a complaint was registered on[protected]CO[protected]). They undertook some sort of repair and charged me a hefty amount in the name of consumables (gas filling etc.). The fridge never worked properly and complaints were registered on[protected]No CO[protected]) and on[protected]CO[protected]). The fridge was not repaired. Further I spoke to their Customer care on 23-11-12 and they booked another complaint based on my email complaint(CO[protected]).
                By that time, the haphazard repairs carried out by the Company made the condition of my fridge worse and the machine was not cutting off automatically. The daily consumption of fridge has increased to about 5 to 6 units a day. Further the body of the fridge was getting heated up enormously and the body of the fridge got deformed completely.
                Then, I started complaining to higher levels of the company. Another team of technicians came and took away the fridge. Finally, the company diagnosed the defect of the machine is with the compressor and needs to be replaced! Finally, a diagnosis after cool 8 months! The verdict: I should pay for the compressor. Remember, by that time I might have paid:
                1. A hefty amount for transportation charges and consumable charges.
                2. During 8 months of their repairs a huge amount to KSEB (Electricity Board) on account of electricity charges.

                Further, because of their shoddy repairs the fridge is completely deformed. In this condition the resale value of the fridge might have come down to zero because of the deformity of the body of the fridge due to shoddy repairs.
                All my pleadings were of no use and they returned the fridge.
                Can I surmise that the company was knowing from day-one itself that the compressor of my fridge was the root cause of the problem and they were whiling away time to avoid free replacement of the compressor as my complaint was within the Home Care Plan.

                Whirlpool — POOR CUSTOMER CARE

                I have lodged a complaint with the customer care centre of whilpool a month back.They gave me the Regn No but no tech turned up for repairing the refrigerator.so I have to make an another complaint with the customer care and the tech came from SaiRam Refrigeration.After filling the gas they duly collected the charges of Rs2005. but he could not rectify the problem.With the result I could not use the product even after paying Rs2005.Again I have to make a complaint and the tech changed the part for he collected Rs.350.Again also the condition remains to be same even now.So please do not BUY THE WHIRL POOL PRODUCT AS IT NOT WORTH WHAT U PAY THE PRICE.More over the customer care response is also equally bad.This is my humble opinion of the WHIRL POOL PRODUCTS.

                  I would like to raise a very serious concern about handling of my complaint number "GB[protected]", regarding the replacement of compressor of my Split A/C (Aviator 1.5T).
                  The complaint was logged on 1st of June and than it started series phone call and follow-up but all gone in vain because your customer support staff have no idea what it mean
                  a Customer Support and how much suffering a customer can undergo when the A/c is down for almost 3 weeks during peak summer season.

                  I got my A/c inspected by a private technician and he confirmed me that the compressor is faulty and since it is under warranty better to log complaint with company. I provided the detail
                  to your staff and they promised me that compressor will be replaced in few days with some service charge which I need to pay.

                  When no one turned up for a week, I called support staff again and they told me that status of the complaint shows that technician has paid the visit and provided an estimate.
                  I was surprised and told them that this is absolutely incorrect as no one has visited and there is no point of estimate when the compressor is under warranty.

                  I called several time over next 2 weeks and always requested to speak to some senior person, and I was given commitment that someone will call me in few hours/24 hours/48 hours,
                  none of those commitment were ever fulfilled.

                  Finally I called on 15th June and I had to threaten your support staff just to get some senior to speak to me. The supervisor was kind enough to arrange a conference call with
                  person Rajeev (Mobile [protected]) and Rajeev promised that Compressors are on the way to our center and he will get my A/c fixed during 17-18th June latest. I called Rajeev again
                  on 17th evening and he told me that compressor are yet to be cleared from store and he will send someone on 19th June.

                  On 19th June finally someone visited my house and he also asked me about problem before coming and I explained him that compressor needs to be replaced. The guy did full inspection
                  of my A/c and he surprised me that he did not bring the compressor because no one gave him and he need to come again.

                  I am really surprised about such a pathetic and unprofessional behavior of your staff..I do not expect such kind of poor service (I am ashamed even to call this as service).
                  This is harassment and in such a peak summer how one can service without A/c for 19 days.

                  I hope you will take proper actions against the people involved in this support request.

                  Secondly I feel that I should not be charged any service charges for visit/charging because I have not received any service at all.

                    My Whirlpool double door, frost free refrigerator Model NO: WRN A 2888 G 20, Srl No: INA[protected], was working with almost no problems for quite sometime, but suddenly two weeks ago the plastic components inside the freezer compartment melted completely, so much so that the freezer door could not be opened and had to be cut open to see that everything inside had completely melted and the got welded to the door.
                    I duly registered a complaint with Whirlpool, and the engineer came over who finally cut the door open. It was then we realized that the defrost cycle which got started at midnight, for some reason never stopped till not just ice, but even the plastic on the inside of the fridge had melted. Apparently it is a design flaw where 2 thermal cutouts failed to cut the defrost cycle and melted the complete interior of the freezer. On visiting Whirlpool global website (http://repair.whirlpool.com/) you can see recall information for fridge with similar design flaws but such recalls of faulty product don't happen in India where we have to live with such fire hazards in our homes.
                    I filled a written complain with the attending engineer as well as a complain on company website Sr No: HR[protected], asking for the faulty fridge to be replaced or repaired but I have not heard back from the company for the last 2 weeks even though the web site claims response in 3 working days.
                    This whole incidence leaves me wondering whether Indian consumer laws are so poor that recall of dangerous, defective products happen only in First world countries and we are forced to survive with these fire hazards that we bring into our homes the best we can.

                      I am having a Whirlpool semi automatic washing machine which started giving trouble since last 15 days.
                      I called their customer care at [protected] on 12/06/2013 and lodged a complain(complain id-GW[protected]) and I was told that I will be contacted within 24 hours and their expert will visit my place from the nearest service center and the issue will be resolved.
                      But till today there is no response from their end. Today, I called for the FOURTH time on the customer care number and got the same response, “I am sorry for the inconvenience. I am forwarding your case and it will be taken up on priority basis. Blah blah”. All crap.
                      So Whirlpool has proven as one of the companies which have no customer support and after sales services what so ever. At the time of selling a product, country wide service and what not is assured. But this is the state of affairs actually. I don’t know which clock they are following which could not finalize a deadline of 24 hours where as 7 days has elapsed already.
                      I just hope it has some effect on some deaf ears.

                      Whirlpool — Complaint not attended

                      I had purchased extended warranty plan (HG[protected] of Whirlpool. I booked a complaint for my fridge at its call centre at 8 am on 14.7.2010 (AH[protected]. I was informed that service engineer will contact between 11 am and 1 pm. When nobody contacted I called up call centre again. I was told that service engineer Mr J Desai will call shortly. When nobody called till 5 pm, I again called call centre at 5.45 pm. The same story was repeated. Nobody attended the complaint. I have been harassed by the company and also incurred loss in terms of rotten food stuff (chocolates, frozen foods etc)
                      Will company take any action to compensate my loss and punish the erring officials?

                        This is Pankaj Kr. Rai, I purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator in 2010, it is having several issues since beginning, when ever I complained they came and rectified. But last year in October 2012, its Compressor got corrupted and when I called they asked for visit and other gas filling charges, because compressor is under warranty. But within a month same compressor that Whirlpool changed, got corrupted again and in second time after several days, company changed this faulty compressor second time in December 12, also they changed thermostat, blaming it for malfunction in compressor. Again same compressor stopped working and then When I complained company charged for gas refill and again repaired on 22nd May 13, on 26th May 13 same compressor again stopped working.

                        Still compressor is under warranty, but when ever I am complaining they are just opening a request and closing after a week, by writing whatever they want. I can provide last two complaint numbers, which were closed internally without providing any resolution.

                        Service Request number: DL[protected] was created on 19th May, engineer visited on 22nd may 13, charged Rs. 1200 for gas and repaired. Again on 25th May, same compressor stopped working.

                        Service Request number: DL[protected] was created on 26th May 13. Engineer visited and confirmed that compressor need to be replaced. After that no service. He confirmed that he dont know why compressor is getting corrupted. His remark was that in last few months all compressors supplied by Whirlpool were of not good. This request was not worked and they closed the request internally. The fact is after 26th no one called or visited, they closed call internally.

                        Service Request number: DL[protected] was created on 5th June 13, and remark maintained by service engineer is that customer refused to pay. According to whirlpool service manual, any repair within one month will not require payment second time. This call was for replacement of refrigerator and it was communicated by support center that within 2 days some of company representative will collect my original purchase receipt and process product exchange and it will take 21 days. Fact is that no one visited or called, they just closed the call.

                        Service Request number: DL[protected] was created on 14th June 13. No one is even trying to know from Whirlpool that whether their engineers are not capable or their compressors are of so inferior quality that it is not able to last for 1-2 months.

                        After every complaint, their service center is opening one service request and without replacing faulty refrigerator, they acer closing the call.

                        I mailed several times to [protected]@whirlpool.com,[protected]@caretelindia.com,[protected]@caretelindia.... but of no use. They are even not replying mails.

                        This faulty refrigerator must be replaced, because Whirlpool engineers tried 4 times and unable to provide permanent resolution. I can not keep paying Rs.1200 after every 1-2 month. I will provide all receipts if required.

                        Already submitted complaints, no response received yet. Refrigerator purchased 1 month back, water gets collected at the bottom.                         i had purchased a fully automatic washing machine of "whirlpool" 0n 8/8/2005 and got it under extended warranty on 9/8/2007 so that it remains under warranty till 2010.

                        there was technical problem of push button in my washing machine for which i had logded a complain on[protected]. the company executive replaced the push button after one month and that to with the part that was old and used .
                        i faced the problem even after replacing. since the replaced part also didn't work.till now i have been complaining and no solution has been done.

                        i had reminded about my complain on regular interval.
                        the dates being 16, 17, 18, 19, 28, 29, 30, 31 of month july.
                        7, 8, 9, 10 of august.

                        i will be gratefull to you if you provide me the way to file a comlain against them and teach the persons involved a lesson so that they provide service to their customers

                        I totally agree with you. Even I had a similar problem.Besides waiting for the technicians to fix the problem in my washing machine, I also fed up in spending Rs.5500 for the same. Even then no response from the company people.

                        Later on as my friend suggested i sent a legal notice to the company through a familiar advocate from my home town. Within a day, the technicians were waiting at my door for half an hour (i was not in home by the time they called and it took some more time to reach home) to fix the problem.

                        That was wonderful. Rather than spending Rs.5000 or Rs.6000, i spent just Rs.1000 to the advocate. Now whenever i get a problem, i just call the customer care and they are prompt in action these days.

COMPLAIN NUMBER WAS KL[protected], AND WAS GIVEN BY MR RAVI FROM THE TOLL CENTRE.THEN I RECEIVED AN SMS THAT MR RAJESH DAS WILL ATTEND YOU IN 24 HRS, WITH HIS MOBILE NO [protected].THEN ON 25/5/2011 A MECHANIC TURNED UP AND HE SAID THAT THE HANDLE IS BROKEN AND HE WILL REPLACE IN 8 DAYS. AFTER WAITING FOR MORE THAN 8 DAYS , I CALLED UP THE CALL CENTRE. IN BETWEEN THE DAYS MY HANDLE HAD COME OFF THE FRIDGE.IN THE CALL CENTRE ON 18/6/2011 MADAM KAVITA RECEIVED MY CALL. HE TOLD ME TO TALK AFTER 3P.M AND THEN HE WILL TELL ME THE STATUS THEN AFTER 3 P.M HE TOLD ME THAT HE DOESNT NO ANYTHING AND HE WILL LOOK INTO THE MATTER. I TOLD HIM THAT I WAS OPENING THE FRIDGE FROM SIDES AND I WAS FACING PROBLEMS.HE THEN TOLD ME THE THE RUBBER ON THE SIDES WILL ALSO GET SPOILT.
                        NOW I AM AT UTTER SHOCK IN WHAT TO DO WITH THE FRIDGE AND IN SUCH SCORCHING HEAT I CANNOT DO WITHOUT MY FRIDGE.

                        Whirlpool — Pathetic Service by Whirlpool

                        I filed a complaint- (complaint no- GB[protected]) with Whirlpool Customer Care on 29th Oct, 2011 regarding my fully automatic Whirlpool washing machine.

                        I had already taken an AMC for my machine.

                        A technician by the name of Mr. K. K. Singh visited my place on the day of complaint itself (Saturday-29Oct, 2011) and said there was a part required to be replaced which was covered under the AMC and the complaint would be resolved maximum by Monday (31 Oct, 2011)

                        He also gave us his contact number in case to remind him of the complaint.

                        No-one called up/visited our place till Monday evening and we decided to call KK Singh at the number provided- however even after repeated attempts the no was switched off.

                        Tuesday (1 Nov, 2011), we called up the customer care and they said part would be absolutely available and complaint resolved by Thursday (3, Nov, 2011) and gave us the new no of K K Singh.

                        On calling the person on Thursday, he said the part to be replaced was not available yet and would be available max by Saturday (5, Nov, 2011)
                        On asking him why his cell was switched off he informed he had changed his no. The person had not cared to even inform.

                        On calling the same person again today (7, Nov, 2011), we are told the part is not available and they cannot even guarantee when it would be available. The customer care as usual said the part would be available by Wednesday (10th Nov, 2011).

                        I am really disappointed by the way these people are functioning and fooling customers. The same problem had occurred in my machine 1.5 yrs before when I was in Hyderabad and had been rectified in 2 days without any false commitments.

                        I am wondering if this is a general trend for customer care in NCR or has Whirlpool service downgraded to this level that they are waiting for my AMC to expire so they can charge me for the part and service.

                        Can someone tell me where I can take a strict action against these guys?

                        WHIRLPOOL REFRIGIRATOR NOT COOLING COMPLINES AND ON 25TH FEB2012 COMPRESSOR WAS REPLACED BY AUTHORISED SERVICE ENGINEER (LAKSHMI SERVICE ENGGRS) .
                        IT WAS WORKING FOR 10DAYS THEN SOME FILTER PROBLEM, SAME WAS REPLACED.
                        NOW AGAIN DEEP FREEGER IS NOT FORMING ICE.

                        REPEATED PROBLEMS FOR LAST 60DAYS.

                          The water purifier bought in April 2012, and taken into Annual Maintenance Contract in April 2013 is not working properly. The machine keeps running but very little water gets filtered. We have recently changed all the filters, but the problem continues. We called customer care on 8th June. Complaint no. 14200. We were assured that someone would call us and come over to repair the machine. Thereafter I have been calling every day and getting the same assurance. As on the night of 12th June, no one has turned up for service.

                            Our Whirlpool genius refrigerator (Model:DC19-2010) stopped working a couple of weeks back. Since we already had a contact number of a service representative (Name:Rohan; Cell#91-[protected]) from our previous complaint (Complaint#11466) we called him and asked him to come and check

                            Rohan turned up couple of days later , checked the fridge and told me that it could be an issue with the compressor. He said that he will verify if it was really a compressor issue the very next day. He did not come the next day but came the day after, checked the compressor again and conformed that it was really an issue with the compressor.


                            We showed him the warranty card for 4 years for the compressor and asked him to replace it since it was within the warranty period. He said we have to raise another complaint with the Whirlpool call center.

                            I had called up the Whirlpool-Bangalore service/call center (Phone#[protected] and registered a complaint last week. I was told that a Whirlpool service representative will come over to look into the issue within 24 hours (It looks like it is the only sentence your call center parrots know). The complaint number is BG[protected].

                            Since then I got no response from anybody, so I called up the call center again after 3-4 days, I was told to contact Tukaram (Cell#91-[protected]), who in turn asked me to contact Sivamurthy (Cell#91-[protected]). Sivamurthy told me last Saturday that the compressor will be available by today. I called him up today and I was told it would take 2 more days. I am not exactly sure whether this guy actually knows what he is actually talking about or just mouthing some garbage. He has not been picking up the phone when I call him since then.

                            Its been nearly two weeks since the fridge stopped working and still your horrible service or "care" network has not done anything to fix it. I am writing this mail hoping that at least some professionalism or accountability from Whirlpool might come out of it.

                            So far I am deeply frustrated and very angry about the whole experience.

                              we have register a complaint with the whirlpool jaipur service centre on 5th june with the name of kulpreet singh. On 6th of june an enjineer came and he told that it will be repair in the workshop and till now no one has come to take the fridge .In january the compressor had been changed and acc. to the engineer the gas is blocked so again its a compressor problem which is in the warranty period. we have given them so many reminders related to it but then also nothing is been done. they also misguided us by giving them fake numbers that u can talk with the owner but that no. was o[censored].P owner. this is really a harrasment done to a customer.

                              if soon no action will be taken then forcefully we have to go in the consumer court.

                              In the mont of Feburary 2008 i had a problem with my Microwave AVM542, i called up the service center, dealer ect, and after 1 week i had a thencian coming who took 400Rs to see and tell that a small plastic lock had broken and for that he will call for replacement as they dont keep such small parts, he promised to return in a couple of days, that has been till now sep 2008 he has not turned up.
                              i have called everyone concerned the say they will revert and till date no one has,
                              what action shall i take to get it working or do they want me to throw out the piece because they dont bother to repair small parts or replace them.can i take any legal action on them
                              We bought Whirl pool Washing Machine on 1st Jan at viveks-mylapore(Chennai, tamil Nadu). But, the model (Lilac) which we selected was stopped and told they will replace with new model & upgraded features for the same amount. But motor which we selected was 760 and they hey gave 380 (downgraded one). After 3 weeks, We paid additional amount and bought 700S model. But they came after 1 week for the demo and when we try washing the clothes found rinsing is not working. Executive told they will replace it . But still they have not replaced yet.

                              Today is 10th feb, still we cannot wash clothes with washing machine after 40 days of purchase.

                              We are totally disappoint with the service. Please refund us or replace with new washing machine.

                              Call center executive are not responded properly, disconnecting the phone calls, banging the phone calls.

                              Expecting to do the needful at the earliest.

                              Whirlpool Refrigerator — No product Delivery

                              We had purchased a Whirpool Refrigerator from Dass Electrical Aundh Pune on the 23/10/2010.They were supposed to deliver the product on the occasion of Diwali. Their shop has been sealed by the Canara Bank authorities and the product delivery is pending. Having been paid the full amount we feel like, we are cheated. I keep calling their Customer care number but they kept on extending the delivery date. I feel some action should be taken against them.

                              I'm waiting from last one year for the repairment of my refrigator. Inspite of several visits to the srinagar service centre, they dont paid much attention to my problem and are just involving in giving lame excuses.

                                    Whirlpool — New AC not functional

                                    I have purchased a new Whirlpool AC just pyesturday on the 21st of april at 7:30pm from Shree Sudarshan Electronics in Sector 3 Rohini Opposite main Bus stand.
                                    The AC is not functional. I called the dealer first about the matter and he told me to contact the customer care. Where I asked them to help me with my problem and in regard I requested for a Demo. The customer care executives have not responded well and are extending the waiting period. The AC is brand New and I am not getting any satisfactory response from anywhere.
                                    Hence I wish to acknowledge a complaint against this company.

                                    Whirlpool — Malfunctioning AC and Pathetic service

                                    Repenting the day when I decided to buy a Whirlpool AC and topped it up with an AMC. The service call center is a big sham and there is no coordination between them and the service center run by one Mr Gulshan Kumar at Ranjeet Nagar.
                                    Many of the so called executives are rude discourteous, and work with I care my foot attitude.Promises are never kept and commitments never honoured.

                                    When asked about the status of the complaint and promise by earlier executives to arrange a call back by the supervisor one executive says that "mera kaam poochne ka nahi hai. Jyada pata karna hai to direct chairman se baat kar lo. tumhare jaise bhatere line me lage hain jab time milega to superviser baat kar lenge. Unko sirf tumhara kaam nahi hai." So much for the consumer.

                                    They all are trained to tell lies . The supervisors are never available . One Rakesh Peon picks up the phone of Mr Vikram and knows nothing and you are on a perennial wait.The service center is run by a bunch o[censored]nprofessionals with no regard for the plight of the customer.

                                    Please look at the record of service of this particular AC.

                                    I complained on 2nd April that this AC is not cooling. I was complaining daily and to my surprise I was told that my Ac has already been repaired and on 15th the case has been closed as repaired . And that without anyone even having touched the AC . When I protested I was given a new complaint no and Ac lifted to workshop on 17th. It was brought back after 4 days by 2 people who said an Engineer would come to install it. No one came for 3 more days. When one person came he said the AC is not cooling and needs to go to the workshop. A few days later the Ac was again shifted to the workshop and brought back after a few days . It was partially cooling and made a lot of noise. The engineer had no answer. We went out on holiday and on return complained again that the AC was not cooling. After a few days an engineer came and said that AC needs to go to workshop. He had some word with Mr Gulshan Kumar and left. He came again to fill gas in the Ac. The Ac started cooling partially and now the compressor started to trip. They said it will be OK in a few days time . We had to go out because of a family engagement and on return found the AC not functioning again. A complaint was again lodged on 23rd June . An engineer came on 24th and said that AC needs to be shifted to workshop....No one has come after that.

                                    And this is not this year alone. Last year the AC was in the workshop for 17 days in summers at a stretch. 2 delivery men left the AC at my residence. On enquiry with the service center one Mr Arvind said the AC is being thoroughly checked and he was standing next to it when infact it had already been delivered at my house. So much for the integrity.

                                    And a year before that...

                                    I am completely harassed. What is my fault ...that I have bought a Whirlpool product. I know nothing is going to happen because this I Care My Foot Ethos percolates from above ...because if the seniors care the staff cannot take it as lightly.

                                    I had purchased one Whirpool AC in the month of April and from that day onwards i am following up with your local customer care center and dealer that the remote is not working properly & there is a crack in water oultet but till date nothing has happened.

                                    Last week when i called the customer care centre, latest record which was updated regarding my complain is that it is resolved, it was really shocking that false report was submitted by the local representative and on this customer care executive says that by mistake this has happened and we will resolve your complain within 24hrs but it is almost 5 days and no action has been taken.

                                    Whirlpool is such a big brand and these kind of things take place. I didnt expect this from company & their representative It is a big brand and has some prime responsibilities towards its customers.

                                    Whirlpool Ac complaint registered with company, but dealer has not served properly and now forcing us to replace the parts in order to serve us rather than serving the existing part. He is not ready to prove that there is a problem in the existing part. Not sure if this is the right attitude of a service. There has been lot of follow ups but of no use in return.                                     I am ( My Name is Deepak Kumar Khanna, Contact no. [protected], Resd. Address {Where AC installed} A-96, 2nd Floor, Ramprastha, Ghaziabad, U.P-201011) sad to inform you that I had purchased one 1.5 Ton AC from KBM Electronics, Laxmi Nagar, New Delhi in 2007.

                                    Our AC had worked or performed up to last year in good condition , But Now this year we gone for service then suddenly we informed by your service centre that your Compressor was not working properly so we need to fill Gas in the machine, We said ok fill it but after few days he said your Compressor is not supporting to the Machine or Gas So we have to replace the Hole Compressor & Gas etc. We asked them there is any choice, they said no, we said ok then repair it…They repaired and come back to us to fit the AC but at the time of AC installed A heave sound coming from AC like any Generator running and cooling come down at 50% level from the original condition from that Engineer is coming and going but are on same place ……………It not cooling & giving so heavy sound after a Hour or any time ………………..


                                    Now please help us, What we will do…………….We hopeless…………..

                                      i bought a refrigerator whirlpool 3door on 27the October 2012. 2monthes it worked properly but after theat it slow down its cooling theen i called technician and said theere is a gas problem next day thee technician will come and fill thee gas but also after filling gas it didn't cool properly theen again i call thee technician and he said theat thee problem is out of reach we send our senior agent thee technician gave us24hrs time theat withein 24hrs thee senior agent will come and see thee product .withein 24hrs it didn't came i again made a complaint theat thee senior agent had not came theen again he said theat thee technician will come in anotheer24hrs theis situation happened 4-5times but thee senior technician didn't came theen after 1week thee technician again came but thee senior technician didn't came he said theat theere is a problem of compressor and-withein 24hrs we will change it but also after changing compressor also it didn't worked and now also it is not working i have seen theis worst service of thee company ever my food had got spoiled and no action has been taken till now

                                        from the date of instillation itself machine has started giving problem . Now in a matter of 1.6 years machine has given more than 10 Service problems and each of the time service engineer has visited the place he has taken away parts for servicing or replacement.
