Hi,

This is regarding a incorrect contact no. updated on WHIRLPOOL website http://www.whirlpoolindia.com/ of a particular dealer in Gurgaon. When we select delear locator in Gurgaon , there is "Ganesh Electronics", Raheja Mall, Gurgaon. The phone number which is updated there is my personal residence landline number. Due to this mistake of whirlpool, I receive atleast 10-15 calls everyday. This is creating such a mental agony that me and my family are unable to cope with. I have already informed twice to whirlpool customer care and they say this will be rectified but it doesn't get done. They refuse to register the complaint and give me the complaint number.
I request Whirlpool to remove that number immediately and also I demand a compensation of 1 Lakh Rupees for this mental harassement of me and my family.

    I had bought a whirlpool 3-door refrigerator having model no.F300 Proton on 16 Feb'2011 by Home Town outlet situated in Sahara Ganj,Lucknow. Since the day of delivery,i am experiencing excess cooling problem with the product.I registered complaints thrice with the company but they are not able to solve the problem nor are they taking the issue seriously.My last complaint was in feb'2012 and was within the warranty period.But the problem is still not solved and now they are saying that because the warranty period is over,I'll have to pay for the part replacement along with the service charge.I am not ready to pay any extra penny to them and want my product to be replaced as it is a defective piece.

    proton f 300 — For replacing the product

    We purchased the whirlpool fridege from mahavir Electronics bibewadi pune date 20.7.2010.Within 3 days it was not working properly.

      I purchases one Microwave Oven on 11th Nov'11, which worked fine for just 3 months, now when registered the complaint at the helpline no on 31st Mar'12, I was given a SR Number : HR[protected] and promised engineer visit within 24 hours time.

      I was very happy to see the engineer as he visited my place in just 4 hours from the moment I registered the complaint. Engineer confirmed that some internal part is not working and entire product would be replaced by 3rd Apr'12. Post which I have not yet heard anything / see anyone from Whirlpool.

      Now whenever I am contacting the helpline / Engieer, I am given a new timeline for resolution, now the engineer also changed his statement that only the faulty part would be replaced, which as per helpline & Engineer is running out of stock.

      I requested whirlpool team to extend the warrenty of the product due to all the delays which is happening for the product being out of stock, to which I get an answer that it would not be possible.

      My first experience with Whirlpool is very Sad and I now feel, I should have opted for some other reliable brand as only God & Whirlpool know by when they will solve my problem

        Agency which has been given a Contract are useless and Customer Care has been Outsourced and are really bad in terms of Customer Service. I paid about 16,000 for a White Magic Washing Machine from Viveks Washing Machine
        and Agency have charged about 12,000 rupees for Spares and Service Charge....Condition of Washing Machine has been worst it runs like a railway engine now...WHIR-POOL being a global brand and has an amazing service...IN MY LIFE TIME I WILL NEVER BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM WHIRLPOOL,,,I HAVE KEPT ALL BILLS IN MY RECORDS AND WILL SUE THE COMPANY...I LITERALLY DESERVE A COMPENSATION AND ATLEAST A GOOD SERVICE WHCH CAN BE RECTIFIED

          We baught 2 air conditioners( split AC - 1 ton capacity) from whirlpool. both the air conditioners were not cooling so we lodged the complaint with their customer care team on 5th April'12. Firstly, the executives do not communicate properly and one has no comprehension of what they understand of teh complaint and document thereafter. after regular followup(twice daily) where they each time promised that the enginer would report on the same day, nobody turned up. Finally, on 11th April'12 teh engineer showed up only to tell us that one of teh 2 ACs was defective and had no gas while the other one needed a top up. he informed us that this service will be chargeble. disgusting was the first thing that came on my mind. and whenever you call their customer care number, one - it is very highly charged and then they would make you endlessly hold the line. and they would never tranfer the line o their senior/supervisor. they have disconnected my call more than 3 times. i have not only spent money in buying their sub par product but also spent loads of money in calling their customer care number.

          i regret buying products from Whirlpool and i would urge no one to fall for it.

          it is disgusting and definitely NOT WORTH spending your hard earned money on !!!

          Whirlpool Split AC — Pathetic Service

          I went to purchase an LG Spilt AC from NEXT Showroom. The sales guy convinced me to go for whirlpool on the basis of their after sales services. The installation itself was faulty and subsequently I lodged the complaint. it took them more that 48 hours to reach my place but only after I went to NEXT showroom and used some good language.The engineer came and rectified immediately. But hey there were 2 services which were free when i read the card and there was supposed to be demo of the unit which never happened.

          After six month I again oodged a complaint for a starnge noise which was coming out of compressor and. The engineer took full week to arrive at my place. Although I was getting call from engineer saying he is the area and reaching soon. But I think he was travelling on a camel. Finally I took the cahrge and opened the cleaned the AC all by myself and guess what next day engineer arrived and EVERYTHING is clean which was obviuos. When asked about the demo, he himself was confused about the features. and THEN i gave up. Phew !!!

          Whirlpool Split AC — non working AC/bad service

          i had purchased split a/c 1 tonned on date 14 feb 2009 from NEXT showroom mahatmanagar at nasik [ms]. it got installed after 3 days i.e on 16feb 09. the very next day i found that A/c is not working, i complained to the showroom, they send some person who was from service centre. he said that as showroom has installed the A/c & not the company its showrooms fault. today its almost 2 months from complaint & even after many followups i have not got the A/c repaired nor proper answer & service from service centre & showroom. myself & my family had sufferred a lot mentaly & physicaly in this summer because of not any mistake of mine. i request to solve my problem immediately .

          Whirlpool air conditioner — PATHETIC AFTER SALES SERVICE

          I had purchased 2 Whirlpool ACs from EZone, Jayanagar, Bangalore(Aviator and Chrome 1 ton each and both 5 star rated) on 9th May 2010. I understand Whirlpool has outsourced the services to some local contractors. I must say the service level is pathetic. Even the customer care folks do not bother to take the requests or complaints seriously. There is no follow up call to check if installation is completed or if I need a Demo or the first service that is given in the first month of purchase. The contractors used for installation will advise the worst option just to increase the cost and gain more money. Finally I had to engage the installers from Ezone who charged me atleast 50% less than Whirlpool folks. Next challenge was to get the Demo and 0 month service. I made a dozen calls to Whirlpool Customer care and EZone 2 weeks after purchase. I have yet not got the demo nor any call from the Customer care folks explaining the delay. I was going to purchase the 405 liters Whirlpool fridge this month. After experiencing this service level I would rather go for LG or Samsung, who may be better than Whirlpool on service front.

          i have purchased 2 whirlpool split acs from geetansh electronics ,mansarovar , jaipur .out of 2 one ac is not cooling properly &several times complaints were lodged.but service centre response is very very poor.they do not attend complaint for 3-4 days.they do not take appointment before coming, they do not do work of satisfaction.i will give 0/10 of whirlpool service.
          the another ac installed on 7th june ,did not work even for single day .after several complaints to call centre one engineer has come &told that one part is broken &should be replaced.even after 20 days no body responded to my complaints &i finally decided to get it replaced by other company ac.i suggest that company should be closed as it cannot provide after sale service.i have decided not to purchase any whirlpool products in whole of my life.

          WHIRLPOOL/ SPLIT AC — Service related

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I have registered for a service of my Whirlpool AC. I have 3 free services which i'm supposed to use within one year of product purchase. Now, the technician comes to my place and tells me that there is an issue with the gas, now today when i call him back (after 3 weeks) he still tells me that the gas has not come yet. Its been 3 weeks and they tell me that they had ordered the gas but still couldn't get it.

          I would appreciate an immediate action.

            Sir,

            I am sending this email concerning a situation I am having with one of your products and the inability of your sales representative in Okinawa Japan to address and solve
            the situation. I am in shock that such a company, considered to be one of the best has someone like this representing you and your products. I do consider this person
            to be unprofessional and lacking basic fundamental knowledge expected of someone representing such a known brand! I have been sending emails trying to contact anyone from the
            Whirlpool brand for a week. Not only have I not been contacted, it seems you truly do not care about customer service.

            On 31 Jan 2012 I purchased a Whirlpool, 21 cubic foot refrigerator w/ ice maker and electric range from the furniture store located on Camp Foster, Okinawa Japan.
            I scheduled and had the items delivered and installed on 3 February 2012. Initially both appliances operated correctly but after a couple of weeks, the refrigerator started making
            A very loud noise. I checked and the noise seemed to be coming from the freezer fan unit. I contacted the furniture store on Camp Foster on or about the 29 of February.
            They scheduled us an appointment with what they called the Whirlpool repairman to come and check out the unit, first available appointment was scheduled on 3 March 2012.
            I initially wanted to return the item but was told that I couldn’t until the repairman looked at the item and provided documentation to the store.

            On March 3, the repairman didn’t make it because the store gave him the old address and not the address where the items were delivered to. After re-contacting the store
            We made arrangements for the repairman to come out the next day. The repairman showed up and stayed for about an hour looking it over, the refrigerator didn’t make any
            noise during his first visit. We weren’t very impressed watching him try to figure things out. He didn’t test anything, he only removed the freezer fan panel, watched the fan and
            replaced everything. Seeing that it didn’t make any noise he suggested that it was probably normal. He suggested that we purchase and place the refrigerator on a transformer.
            He suggested that we wait and if the noise starts or gets worse we should make another appointment.

            It wasn’t long after the first visit that the noise began and started to become more frequent and louder. Around 27 March 2012 I contacted the furniture store and scheduled another
            appointment with the repairman to return. I asked the furniture store about returning the item but they said that we couldn’t until the repairman looked at the unit and completed the
            required information for the store. I asked the sales person if they had additional refrigerators in stock and she stated that they did have one additional unit in stock. On the second visit
            by the repairman, I was better prepared, this time I recorded the noise and kept a time line as to how often the noise would start and stop. On 30 March 2012 the repairman visited for
            the second time and this time when he stepped in the door the noise started. By just looking into the freezer unit he determined that the freezer fan motor is bad and needs to be replaced.
            He stated that we needed to contact the furniture store and let them know that the refrigerator is broken and that he will need to order a part from the states which will take several weeks
            if not a month.

            On March 30, around 4pm I contacted the furniture store and eventually spoke to the store manager Jacklyn. After explaining the entire situation to her, she said that she needed to wait
            until the Whirlpool Representative received and filed the paperwork from the repairman. She stated that she does receive any of the paperwork and would need to speak with Ann.
            Jacklyn stated that she was aware of the situation and that I needed to give her time to address the problem and once the paperwork was filed they would contact me. I told Jacklyn that Ann
            and her could come over and listen to the noise and then let Jacklyn hear the noise over the phone. She said that she would have the Whirlpool representative “Ann” call me to explain the
            entire process. I was never contacted by “ Ann” and waited until the 2nd of April before I called the store manager.

            I spoke with Jaclyn on the 2nd of April and explained that we were never contacted, she began explaining that the part for our refrigerator was ordered and that it would arrive in two weeks.
            At that point the repairman will return and replace the motor. She stated that if I have any additional concerns fell free to contact her anytime.

            It is now the 9th of April, the part still has not arrived, the noise is becoming so loud that we cannot hear ourselves talk. Let alone it makes it almost impossible to sleep!!!! I contacted the
            furniture store this morning around 9:30 am and talked to the Japanese manager. After explaining everything to her I asked her about returning the item and exchanging it for another refrigerator
            or return it for a refund. She stated that she would need to talk to “Jaclyn and Ann” , then would return my phone call.

            At around 6 pm on 9 April 2012, I received our first call from “ Ann” the Whirlpool representative. She proceeded to explain that we couldn’t return the item to the store because it was past the 30
            Day return policy and it was now Whirlpools problem to deal with. I told her that the noise is getting louder and it is starting to smell like something is burning. I asked her am I supposed to wait until
            the entire units quits and she stated that if that happens then the store would need to do something? She said that she does recall our situation and has already filed paperwork with her POC in the
            states . She stated that all she can do is file a complaint with her POC’s in the states and await a response. I asked her about the part being ordered and she stated that she did complete the paperwork
            and sent it to her POC but couldn’t tell me if it had been ordered and when will it arrive. I had her listen the noise on the phone and asked her what are we the CUSTOMER supposed to do? She suggested
            that I contact the” military housing office and acquire a temp loan refrigerator that they provide to service members”. Though she was sympathetic she couldn’t offer any useful information. Lastly I asked
            her where I can file a complaint with Whirlpool. First she suggested that I can complete a complaint against the store and if I wanted to file one with Whirlpool that I needed to search online for the closest
            Whirlpool location and file a complaint with them and someone would contact me.

            At one point I was interested in exchanging it for another refrigerator, but after spending $849.00 for something that never worked correctly, I am very DISATFIFED with your
            product and those who represent your brand here locally, I simply would like to return it for a full refund.


            Additionally I would like to formally file the following complaints.

            1st Complaint – The Repairman, we were told that this is the only authorized repairman that the store and Ann could use. I find this very funny seeing he doesn’t speak any English
            And if it weren’t for the Japanese workers at the stores no one can communicate with him. Additionally we were told that after he completed his visit that they would need to translate
            His documents into English before they can take any action. Jacklyn and Ann have both stated this.

            2nd Complaint – If you have a sales representative and a Whirlpool repairman located here why don’t they have replacement parts. Why does the customer have to wait weeks if not months
            To have something repaired?

            3rd Complaint – If Ann is the Whirlpool sales representative for Okinawa Japan, why isn’t she able to order and track repair parts and convey that information to the customer?

            4th Complaint – Why is your Whirlpool sales representative telling customers to “search on line to fill out a complaint “?

            5th Complaint - Why is your Whirlpool sales representative telling customers to commit “Fraud, waste and abuse”? Her simply suggesting that I can get a temp loan appliance from the
            housing office is wrong and very unprofessional. The military here have it hard enough, due to weight restrictions we aren’t allowed to carry all of our house hold goods. That is why the
            Housing office offer appliances to the active duty service members and their families.

            Whirlpool — MACHINE PRODUCING LOUD NOISE

            Machine was purchased in May 2011. A loud sound was noticed in the spinning mode in the month of Aug 2011. A complaint was lodged immediately. A mechanic came and serviced the machine and advised us to report if the problem persists. We lodged a fresh compliant on 24.10.2011 since the problem was persisting. Till date the complaint has not been attended. The machine was purchased from Big Bazaar, Coimbatore.

              I purchased whirlpool washing machine at 3rd month main pcb got damaged. They take 20 days for replacement. again pcb failed in march they replaced after 15 days . Immediately spin got problem I complained at April 19th 2012 they come and tell
              it is workshop complaint. so I am remaing alternate days to customer care. They are telling today they will call. Daily this is repeating story from customer care. So dont purchase whirlpool products I fed up with the product.

              I bought a whirlpool wahing machine on the 2nd of june from viveks R.T.Nagar branch.From the first wash the dryer doesn seem to be working.Also when i opened the packing there was water inside the machine which seemed like it was not a fresh piece.Please look into the matter as soon as possible as the store doesn seem to be taking the responsibilities!
              I BOUGHT WHIRLPOOL FULLY AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINE ON 12.03.08. FROM DOMESTIC RETAIL PVT LTD ALAMBAGH LUCKNOW. SINCE I BOUGHT THIS MACHINE IT HAS START GIVING PROBLEMS AFTER ONE MONTH OF PURCHASE. EARLIAR COMPALIN WAS BEING ATTENDED AND MACINE WAS REPAIRED WITHIN A WEEK. BUT NOW THEY ARE TAKING ABOUT ONE MONTH TO REPAIR MACHINE, SIGHTING THE REASON THAT SPARE PARTS NOT AVAILABLE. I REGESTERED COMPLAIN ON 07/08/09 AND MACHINE WAS REPAIRED ON 29/08/09. AND IT STOPPED AGAIN ON 05.0.09, AND SAME DAY COMPLAIN WAS REGISTERED BUT TILL TODAY(22.09.09), IT HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED AND REPLY IS SAME THAT SPARE PART NOT AVAILABLE.
              I APPROCHED TO DEALER WHO IN TURN ASKED ME TO REGISTER COMPLAIN TO CALL CENTER OR ESLE HE CAN REGISTER ON MY BEHALF, HE CAN,T DO ANYTHING MORE.
              NOW I WANT TO GO TO CONSUMER COURT FOR THE SAME. SINCE I AM FEDUP WITH THE PROBLEMS OF THIS MACHINE. PLS ADVISE ME OF THE NEXT STEP. I WANT WHIRLPOOL TO REPLACE MAY MACHINE.

              Poor responce from service centre as well as company customer care
              If spair component of new machines are not available & tthere is no reply from service centre. Customer care are useless. Then question for comman people how to trust this company arises when company is celebrating it's 100 years.

              Whirlpool Washing Machine — Machine is Not Working

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              I bought my Whirlpool washing Machine before two years. When i face the problem i am not getting solution from the company's service center.
              When machines warranty period completed they told us that now you have to charge 3500 rs. for services & machine Part. In warranty period they are not told us that we have to change the circuit.

              Please give me reply as soon as possible.

                I Aruna Saxena from Jaipur registered a complain for my AC from whirlpool on 5th april 2012 and the complaint number was given as JP[protected] but it has not been rectified yet even after so many reminders given to the company customer complaint cell. I was told that it would be attended within two days but even after so many calls there is no response from them.

                  A Whirlpool refrigerator 260 ltr with me since 2008, its cooling adjustment not working since may 2011. For the same i am giving complaint to Whirlpool since August 2011, every time they register the same provide complaint number with 3 digit customer satisfaction code. Conditions to provide code to engg only after satisfaction of problem resolve. Till today problem is as it is, many times complaint registerd between aug 11 to Jan 12 and every time satisfaction code provided by Whirlpool customer care, but every times complaint closed by them where as satisfactions code not given to engg, since problem not resolved so satisfaction code not given even not demanded by engg also.

                  Again a complaint registerd in Whirlpool customer care anjali, complaint number is GB[protected], now they are demanding engg visit charge. Payment given in first visit and appliance not corrected so repeated complaint forr the same now why whirlpool is charging for the same unable to understand. Please help me so that my refrigerator can be corrected. Please do the needful action against Whirlpool and Whirlpool customer care forr my harassment since last 8 month.

                    I had bought a Semi Automatic washing Machine of Whirlpool Model - SPIN 801 from the dealer "Ramesh Corporation - Ahmedabad" on dt 5/11/2010 with 2 years warranty

                    From after 6 months of it's purchase, i m facing problem in Spin Tub continuously. In between Whirlpol has changed Spin Tub motor 2 times and motor Jumpers 3 times to solve the problem but still the problem remains same. At last when i asked to replace the washing machine, they replied me to pay 1700/-rupees through DD for replacement , they also argued with me - i ve used this washing machine 1.5 years so i have to pay above amount. For your reference i m sending your the total complaint history .

                    Above all details i've taken from Whirlpool customer care not make any changes from my side. you can see that i m facing problem continuously in Spin Tub from 20/6/11 and still. Even they had taken 25 days in my 3rd complain for not availability of Spare Parts ( it shows that company is not taking my matter seriously).Just after 2 months of repairing , i had registered my 4 th complaint for same problem . In my 4 th complaint they take away my washing machine to their service station and return it after 39 days .and just after 7 days i've registered my 5th complaint for same reason. At last i've registered my last complaint for Spin Tub Problem with making decision to replace this washing machine with new model which is still under process. after 23 days of my 6th complaint , the service head of ahmedabad is telling me to pay 1700/-rupees through DD for replacement because i ve used this washing machine 1.5 years .

                    Now please suggest what amount whirlpool should pay for my harassment. Is this my fault for giving 6 chances to solve the problem?. Whirlpool can easily analize that i m not able to use this washing machine properly from last 1 year and wasted more than 3 months in problem solving.

                    I want to replace my washing machine with new piece but not in the same model. because i've faced so many problems in the model. i m ready to pay the difference amount only if my selected another semi automatic washing machine price higher than the existing model.                     Whirlpool — REPAIR OF SPIN TUB

                    My washing machine spin tub was repair so i call the service center the person came and change the spin tub cap and after few days there was electric short problem occurs while call them the person came and telling that the spin tub is leakage so the motor was burn. He made the mistake and now he is suggesting me to change the motor for which i have to pay the money. while changing the cap he is not mad the fitting perfectly so this problem came. so i request to company solve this problem by your selves.

                      This is Mrs Rama here and I possess two Whirlpool Fridges , one single door and one double door (Elite Model). In fact all my family members have Whirlpool refrigerators because I recommended them and because I have had a very satisfying experience with your service until now .

                      I recently (first week of March) logged a complaint as my fridge was not working ( it was working on and off). The Mechanic from the service center visited us and said that the compressor was at fault. I had some doubt about this as the Fridge was working on and off and I requested my friend who had a workshop to come and have a look . He checked and said that the compressor was working perfectly but looked like there was some problem in the supply of current which could be loose contact or something .

                      So i logged another complaint , and when the mechanic came (this time a different one) I was out of the country and my husband was there in the house, he checked the fridge and said the compressor was working and apologized for the earlier mechanics wrong diagnosis, He also said that it was difficult that since the wires were inside the beading or the Puff or whatever , the fridge could not be repaired.

                      I am really astonished and pained by this comment by the mechanic as we spend a lot of money and buy a fridge for its brand worth name. I shudder to think if this complaint had happens two years after I brought it , should I simply throw the fridge because it can't be repaired ? Is there anything at all where the company cam say it can"t be repaired . Are Fridges use and throw in India. I am all the more worried because I have been recommending Whirlpool Fridges left and right to every one and I tell them that there could be a situation when Whirlpool would ask you to simply throw your fridge away.

                      When contacted the call center staff named JAI Mohan , he was forthright rude and said that they simply cannot repair the fridge

                      I still have belief in Whirlpool and I firmly believe my recommendations would not go wrong , and it is only the fault of the Mechanic who could have made this remark unwittingly.

                      I had purchased Whirlpool Refrigerator about 6 Years from BusyBee, RP Road, Secunderabad. At the time of purchase tall claims for services were made as usual, a promise which carry no meaning at all and the very next day these promises are forgotten. The Sales boys and girls are given the special training to somehow the sell the product and for making tall claims. The treachery has become the hall mark of Modern Economy and a firm principles in financial management.

                      About 3 years back this unir started giving the problems and on the basis of some expert , the whole panel at the top was replaced. Now again Audio alarms are heard every 2 hours. The unit stopped also cooling and thus heavy loss to me. Also unit started giving too much problems..In case of problems I contacted the nos given in Broucher but was replied that one no[protected] has been changed and when contacted on 27951381, he refused to acknowledge that he is Your company's agent. I am in soup how to respond. Several promises were held aat the time of purchase but declined to serve after that. Is this your Company soft peddled approach at the time of purchase but once article is sold, the company responsibility is over once for all and the hapless customers were left high and dry.

                            I am writing here to share How Whirlpool is cheating us @ Services..
                            I have Whirlpool washing machine. I found that machine was not functioning because of some power problem.
                            When i complain to Whirlpool service center, Person came and changed the entire plate, Charged 2500/-.

                            When i check with that guy he said he don't know how to replace the faulty component ( i said, i have all the supporting equipment, required for replacement at my home, replace the faulty component). So now see….. How much talented peoples are coming at our home for servicing and replace the entire plate (easy solution ) , even my Kid can do this......

                            Since Washing machine is a critical equipment at our home so i was forced to get it fixed and knowingly get cheated.....

                            In a washing machine We have three parts
                            1. Body (rarely need to be changed)
                            2. Control plate ( Which he changed)
                            3. motor
                            ……..
                            ……….
                            …………
                            Another option he has given, Pay AMC which will be cost of 3500/-
                            I purchased my washing machine around 4 year back it mean…
                            4*3500 = 14000/-(it mean we may buy new machine…..:-) )with the cost of AMC..

                                Whirlpool — fault in fridge

                                I have purchased a whirlpool refrigerator 33oltr Elite on 26/5/10.From day one I have been registering my complaint to whirlpool consumer service that there is lack of balance and few days after it's door was making noise. We want to replace the piece. Many engineers visited and at last the replacement note was made. I received the phone call of non-availability of the same color of fridge. After that 2 months passed and there was no contact. Fridge electronic meter is now not working properly. I again called the customer care and asked for the replacement. On which till date there is no reponse. now this fridge is changing every thing in ice(terribly) in all three compartments. How can I register my complaint in consumer court to either replace the piece or give my money back. Vegetables ,eatables are spoiled due to faulty fridge. I have all the complaint no.s with me along with dates and reminders. guide me earliest.

                                    Our Whirlpool washing machine suddenly stopped working and showing E1. On 4th March 2012 we called Justdial to find out the Whirlpool authorized servicing center and they sent SMS of the servicing companies list and also started getting calls immediately once we hangup the call with Justdial even before we see the SMS.

                                    One person named Abihishek sent Naveen Kumar from Megha Services to repair it stating we are authorized service center from Whirlpool and he stated the pressure sensor has to be replaced and charged us Rs.1600/- with 2 years warranty after 5 days washing machine stopped working. We are trying to contact with the number on the bill and some lady told us its a home not service center. We are unable to trace him now and have got cheated finding the pressure sensor to be duplicate.

                                    They are cheaters don't believe Megha Services people. Any services you want for your consumables please find phone number from your bill where you purchased or warranty card or find out from website with the company name you bought, since all major companies has their contact details on website.

                                    Don't go to Justdial.
                                    We called Justdial about this issue and we spoke to them for more than 1 hour, they did not help us. And they said its not our issue. Now we are helpless writing on blogs to spread awareness about it.

                                    Justdial may mislead you. Beware of Justdial.

                                    Robers/Gangsters might also get listed in Justdial and they can rob your home.

                                    So allow some one at your home whom you have reference or referred by your near or dear ones.

                                      This is the second complaint which I am bound to register in reference to same aspect. I don’t know if this is the policy which Whirlpool as a company follows or is it that we were the unlucky ones. Repeating the same story again; my parents who are very old stay in Trivandrum where power cuts are a daily affair so for them I had bought a Inverter which when I had bought initially itself started giving troubles and since calls to so called “customer service centers” were not working I had to bother people in the higher management of Whirlpool to help me out. Now again it has started giving trouble and all the calls to service centers are falling to deaf ears. The inverter started giving trouble on Dec 24 2011 and my parents had duly called up the customer service and informed them. Instead of having a personnel sent across to have it checked they informed to get the Inverter to their service centre. My father took the inverter to Whirlpools authorized service centre in Trivandrum (Hi Tech Solutions). Mr. Shibu who introduced himself as the manager informed my father to leave the inverter at the service station as the technicians were not available and they had to do a through check. Mr. Shibu also informed that once the inverter was rectified it would be delivered to our residence by a personnel from Whirlpool and he would also assemble the inverter. Mr. Shibu provided my father with the work order number (work order no. H1061) and informed to use the work order number for future reference. The inverter was with them till the 30th of Dec and only after my father enquired with them it was informed to him by Mr. Shibu that there was nothing wrong with the inverter and it was the battery which was faulty. My father at that point of time informed Mr. Shibu that the warranty of the inverter was expiring on 05th Jan 2012 so it was better if they had run a through check. Mr. Shibu very confidently informed my father that they had checked the inverter and it was working fine. Mr. Shibu at that point informed that it would not be possible to have the inverter delivered to our residence because it was too heavy and they could not get it on a motorcycle and told my father to come and collect it himself. My father again went to the service centre and collected the inverter and had the battery checked and it was in perfect condition. The same was informed to Mr. Shibu who promised that they would send personnel to come and have a look. Since even after a week no one turned up my father once again called up Mr. Shibu and enquired about the status, on doing so Mr. Shibu informed our house was too far for them so he gave an alternate number ([protected]) and told my father to call up this number and lodge a complain and they would come and do the needful. Mr. Shibu informed that the personnel on the given number were not responding to his call so it was better if my father was to call directly. My father called up the given number and finally after three days some one did pick who refused to divulge his name and was very rude and informed my father if any of his personnel was going that way they would come and have a look. Since then they have stopped answer to the calls and Mr. Shibu has washed off his hands. So we are sitting with an inverter worth INR 19000/- which doesn’t work at home. And not to mention with its warranty expired. I work in Bangalore and my parents are 70+. It not easy for them to carry the inverter along with its battery which weighs more than 30 kilos to places where these guys say to have it checked every now and then. Isn’t it the policy of Whirlpool to have door to door service? Or is it just another marketing gimmick because that was what was promised to me when I bought the inverter. Everything has been going wrong with that thing from day one and nobody from Whirlpool bothers or gives a damn. I think Whirlpool’s only strategy is to sell a product to the customer and then forget about both the customer and the product. I don’t even know why you have the so called “customer service centers” if they can’t help out their customers? The least that is expected from the agents sitting out there is them to be polite. Is that too much to ask? If you can’t deliver what you promise, then don’t promise rather than promising the world when the customer is shelling out cash and not even bothering to respond to a complaint for over a month. I can’t understand how people like Mr. Shibu who call themselves managers be so curt? I really think people like Mr. Shibu are not fit for such industries. How can he even say he can’t deliver the inverter since it is too heavy? Didn’t he know that when he promised to have it sent across? Or does he expect a person who is 70+ to come and do his job? Why can’t they accept that the inverter they sold to us was faulty and have it replaced? You people should learn a lesson from LG service centers, no matter how minor the problem is or what the problem is, if a need arises I get a person at my door step within 24 hrs. Hats off to their prompt service. I too need an inverter for my house in Bangalore, thanks to this horrible experience I now know which one not to buy. I work for a hospitality industry which uses a lot of Whirlpool, LG, Sony, Samsung, Bose and most of the world’s famous brands when it comes to refrigerators, television sets, speakers etc in a very large scale and this kind of response from Whirlpool does not give me a very positive feeling. I will definitely make sure that not only my company and its sister concerns but a lot of other companies think twice before they go for your product if this problem is not resolved at the earliest. I apologize if the complaint is too harsh or is hurting anybody’s feeling I assure my intentions are not so, it’s just that I am too frustrated with the “carefree, not my problem” attitude of the Whirlpool’s service personnel’s.                                         Hi

                                        I have a compaint registered with whirlpool support desk with the below complaint Number : HD[protected] on 24-Feb-2012

                                        Till this point of time there was no resolution for the time , I have contacted the service engineer Mr Narasimha (Mob no: [protected]) and also the help desk multiple times.

                                        The reply that I got from the service engineer is that , the defective part is out of stock and they are waiting for the procurement of the same. I waited a considerable number of days, but not heard back anything from whirlpool.

                                        Request you help me out and bring my washing machine back to work
