Sir
refer call no BG[protected], satisfaction code 960 dt 28/01/2012,this call is attended by Hosur Service centre,Tamilnadu.(Though this service call pertains to bangalore but attended by hosur service centre)
Complaint with unit was Water was not flowing into the machine with full pressure,
Technician has attended to the complaint and informed that due to salt formation in the valve water force is reduced and states that problem has been rectified.(We need to confirm the performance part of the machine).
Finally tech informs that the inlet hose is broken and needs replacement and would cost around Rs 400/-.He is also putting the blame that we the customers have broken the hose,
( we are using the machine from last 1 yr and fully aware how to use the machine and fully aware that if inlet hose is broken the water should fall outside the machine )
We are also annoyed that he is recommended for sealing the inlet hose with M seal.
We take this improper handling of machine/accessories from technician's very seriously and loosing confidence on the quality of whirlpool service.
We request the management to take up the matter seriously and advice the service technician not to trouble the customer with such blame.
And also request the management to provide the new hose pipe free of cost
Awaiting a favourable reply on priority.

    I want to voice my frustration and dissatisfaction at the kind of customer support I’ve being meted out by the Whirlpool support desk. I have a WhiteMagic 650h (Automatic) washing machine which I bought in March-2011 at Pune from Croma Retail Stores (Tata group). For the last 6 weeks, the heating function in the machine is not working and we have lodged complaints with their local Pune customer support system thrice. Over the past few weeks, some service persons have come over and reported multiple issues from PCB to heater to thermostat. Many attempts have been made to rectify but all of the people visiting are completely unskilled, incompetent and totally incapable of any diagnosis and repair. There have been multiple commitments and deadlines for a repair given to me and some of them have even told me that it's beyond repair and the only possible solution for me would be a new replacement machine. About 3 weeks back, i reached out to Whirlpool's Gurgaon care centre and have been interacting with Abhishek Verma and Vikram Singh. They too have been making commitments of resolving my issue, not one commitment has been met. In fact, after these many attempts, the service folks have managed to damage the machine even more and now it's not starting any wash cycle and completely useless. I must have made a 1000 phone calls but to no avail. I don't know how to get this matter to higher levels within their organization and get a resolution for me. As I've been asked, I've even provided them with my purchase receipts etc. but no progress made yet. It's the worst possible equipment and customer experience I've had in my life and would never recommend any Whirlpool appliance to anyone.

    Whirlpool Washing Machine — New machine not working

    Dear Sir,
    I have purchased a new fully automatic washing machine from whirlpool with 1 year guarantee. Since the beginning it is not working properly. There is a problem in its detergant dispenser and I have filed complaint 4 times with their customer service. Still it is not rectified. Its a new machine and nobody has turned up to rectify the problem for my last complaint. I have called them atleast 10 times in last 1 month. I am a working woman and I am having a real tough time without a washing machine for last 1 month ispite of paying them more than Rs.17000. please look into my concerns.

    Whirlpool Washing Machine — water is not getting into the washing machine

    washing machine is not working. It is in AMC done at meerut, UP when i was under posting in meerut, now i am at jabalpur. Please do it at the earllierst, i have already complained so many times. My contact no is[protected].Please contact me at this no because i have tried to contact whirlpool no of time, every time i am given a telephone number to be contacted which has not been attended by any body. Hence the old complaint remains unatttended. Please do the needfull at the earliest.

      Whirlpool hands out satisfaction code, but then does not even follow-up.

      I booked a service request for my refigerator. This is second time in less than 2 months. I am not very happy with behaviour and response of the technician from Whirlpool. Further the technician is not picking up phone on follow-up although called 3 times reagrdaing replacement part.
      Next day I receive a SMS saying service request closed with "Customer refusing to Pay". They did not even bother to enquire with me. So what is the use of satisfaction code they give when they would not follow-up about what really happened.
      Next day i sent a mail to whirlpool helpdesk, on which they first reopened the issue and then just as curtly send an SMS saying request is closed and if you are happy inform other and i[censored]nhappy call us ( which by the way is very difficult to reach) .
      I would rather inform others about my unhappy experience.

      The way the whirlpool is handling service by outsourcing has really spoiled things for the customers, because there is bad service if any.
      Previously I had issue with AMC renewal for washing machine. Lately the split AC installtaion is so bad that I might have to get it done again. The people they send to install are not given even adequate training. Something for the Whirlpool Gurgaon service head to ponder.

      I would like to escalate this to the service head of Whirlpool appliavces in North India.
      Also I would like to highlight to others - don't bother with whirlpool with such bad after-sales service. Also would recommend do not renew AMC as it is just their way of fleecing your money. When you really need service in later yeras they will not be there.

      An advice to Whirlpool, if you are really listening, why not have a comprehensive home plan covering multiple equipment and of course provide service by properly trained polite staff. And first of all follow-up when you do not get the satisfaction code back. Why do you expect me to pay visit charge when you do not provide adequate service and no repair done on equipment.

      Whirlpool — Bad and rude service I have ever experienced

      We are using 650d model Washing Machine for the past 1 year. The
      appliance was brought on 18/07/2009 and was rarely used. In sept 2010
      the machine had stopped working due to a board complaint. At that time
      the problem was rectified within a week.

      Last week (20/11/10) the machine again stopped working . I had
      complained to the customer care (complaint no 10233) on the same day and
      a service executive said that the complaint would be fixed before Friday
      (26/11/10). I called up the Calicut whirlpool service centre today and
      they have informed me that the replacement parts have to come from Delhi
      and that it would take another week before my complaint can be
      rectified. This is the second time that I have to undergo great hardship
      on account of the same problem in a space of 6 months.

      Also the response from the service centre has been very poor and
      uncaring. They are not at all interested in resolving my problem. I
      least expected such behavior from such a reputed company such as whirlpool.
      My family and friends have been loyal whirlpool customers for many
      years. We are been using ovens, fridges all purchased from Whirlpool and
      so far i have not experienced such neglect from the staff.

      Please never ever buy a whirlpool product.,,,,,,,it will ruin all your hard earned money and time........
      My washing machine is serviced by Whrilpool authorised service center M/s.Sriram Refrigeration, Bill no 058925 dt;23/06/12. My spare changed is board, But there is no MRP is marked on the spare, why this has happened. While is asked service engineer he told it will not be marked. Then how the price is fixed, Please give feed back. If i do not receive any feed back from you, i will go to consumer court for price fixation. Assuring your feed back.

        we ve bought One Airconditioner whirlpool/1.0ton chrome coral red -12687-5star From QRS .M.G.Road on 9th Jan 2012,second day itself From Ac very big noise coming and shut down.we informed both Qrs and whirlpool service centre Ravipuram and mechanics came and tried to repair and again and again same problem ,so we are waiting till 10th day for functioning of Airconditioner .which is not happening . we ve requested for replacemnt company and company is not responding they are sending mechanics saying we will change the bush,motor etc.....This is apparently regretfull to note that customer after taking home a whirlpool product and if not functioning company is not taking any action to replace the unit .pls do the neddful at the earliesr to replace the unit at the earliest.Invoice No[protected],cust code 000105

            I have purchased one Whirlpool - Splash model washing machine in June 2011 and one year warranty is available. On 4.1.2012, I made a complaint ( Abnormal Noise ) to the customer care and was given a number CN [protected] and informed that the service personnel will contact me over phone and in person. One person contacted me on the same day and informed that some parts to be changed and will take the machine to their place and charge Rs.650/- ( Rs.400 for the parts and Rs.250 for service charge) for the same. But only on 9.1.2012 they took the machine from my house with a promise to return the same on the next day. As there was no response from them till 13.1.2012, I have contacted the Customer care over phone and also visited the service center in person. The people present in that premise has promised to deliver the machine on 14.1.2012. But nothing happened. Again on 17.1.2012, I made a phone call to the Customer Care Section in their number[protected] and a lady who handled my phone has promised to look into the matter and escalate the matter to her superior. When I contacted the service center in Tiruchi on 17.1.2012, they have promised to deliver the machine on 17.1.2012 itself or on 18.1.2012.

            I don't understand why this company is doing this to the customers. Unfortunately I have already purchased one refrigerator also from them. The service is very poor and the response is worst. So far no body from the company has contacted me over phone as promised by the customer care people and the machine also not delivered to me.

            I am terribly disappointed and this type of poor service ( No Service ) provided by a so called reputed company is not acceptable. I brought this to the forum because people must know the real fact about big companies like Whirlpool. I also planned to take up the matter with Consumer Court.

              I have purchased whirlpool washing machine on 25 Dec 2011, the details of which are as under :

              Make : Superwash - XL A-72h
              Model no. : 11820
              Capacity : 7.2 kg
              Color : Wine Red
              Sr. No. : INB[protected]

              The machine was purchased from Ajit Electricals, shop No.60/21-60/22, Gwalior Road, Sadar bazar, Agra.
              The HOT WASH system was not working in the machine. Since 26 Dec 2011, I am continously complaining about to the dealer and whirlpool local customer care centre. Company's local UNTRAINED technicians visited our place 4 times, out of which, 2 times they stayed for more than 2 hrs to check the machine, but they failed in getting the solution.The dealer and whirlpool local customer care centre both are now silent. They are not giving any positive response. The dealer is not agree to replace/change the machine.

              I am very dissapointed by the company and its service. They seriously dont deserve to write "INDIA'S NO.1 HOME APPLIANCES COMPANY" as its tag line, because the truth is here. This is my first experience with whirlpool and its disgusting.

              Still I am expecting that my machine will be replaced by the dealer on company's advice.

                    we bought the whirlpool refrigerator in 2009,with in 2 years we had several compliant in that fridge, and we contact service center to get the permanent solution, but problem not cleared,they are concentrating only to get money from us.up-to now we spend 2000/- rupees but we hadn't get the permanent solution and they don't give responsibilities for us.we send these details to u because we believe u people to give us a permanent solution for this.we highly disappointed by those service centers

                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                      Good day to you. My name is Karthick Muthaiyan and I own a Whirlpool water purifier (Pura fresh Elite RO) purchased on 25/10/2008.

                      I used to change the filters involved as per catalog. The service engineers are charging more than what the actual rate of the filters .

                      For e.g:
                      Actual Rate Rate chargerd by ServiceEngg
                      Pre filter : 300 350
                      Pre carbon filter : 400 490
                      Plus sediment filter : 410 490

                      I confirmed the actual price with the customer care (complaint no : 54384) .

                      This is a serious crime of over charging consumers and the magnitude of the crime may be widespread. I do have bills of me being overcharged
                      during different periods. Is it possible to take action against Whirlpool , since the compliant was registered to Whirlpool customer care and the
                      engineers come their service partners.

                      This is Kanchan from G.E.T. Water Awareness Team Chennai... I read ur complaint.

                      Many people forget to choose a customized plant for their raw water characteristics.

                      Standard branded products do magical advertisement only for marketing and not concentrating in service, as the RO, UV, OZONE, UF, NANO concept needs huge maintenance if not configured for RAW water purification methods

                      We people create this awareness and we have qualified engineers who FREELY service the Water purifiers any brand any model and suggest you how to maintain it in future.

                        I had purchased my Washing machine of Whirlpool on 14/08/2011, The product deliver to me was the defected one as its started giving complaint from very 1st day, after that i made a complaint several time but i m not getting permanent solution for this again and again i m getting some complaint while running the said product.

                          I have purchased a Whirlpool Washing Machine from TMC, Hyderabad and it is still in the warranty period. I have several times given verbal complaints to the dealer but he has not bothered to depute his service mechanic to attend the complaint. My Complaint Nos. are HD[protected] dt 03.11.2011, HD [protected] dt. 14.11.2011 and HD[protected] dt 20.12.2011. If my complaint is not attended with 72 hours I will sue the case in the consumer court and claim damages.

                            Hi,

                            Very recently i have purchased a Whirpool refrigerator..since the 1st week im facing the problem..its getting over cooled and some times the internal circuits burnout...the technicians recommended the stabilizer ...i have purchased it ..but no improvement...and i really find technicians responding very poor...they suggested to put cotton in the blower...

                            the internal cabin light has burnout along with cover they till now its not been replaced...which is almost two months ago...

                            the recent complaint HD[protected] is also the same (Over cooling)..its been more than 3days and the technician dint respond even after several calls...

                            i have raised the complaint to helpdesk...no response form them also...

                            now i find some brown powder falling from the backside of the refrigerator....

                            im not at all happy with your products / services..

                            Guys..Think before buying there products

                              We purchased whirlpool semi automatic washing machine on July 3, 2011 for Rs 7700 from Kapila Electronics, Janakpuri , New Delhi.

                              Within 5 months o[censored]se,washing machine gave trouble. On pressing the slider to move water towards the spin tub, the entire water would come flowing into the wash tub and not spin tub as desired .Spoke to Whirlpool India's helpline on Dec 18, 2011 who provided ref no: DL[protected] for complaint login .The service engineer Mr Pawan Kumar visited our home at 12.30pm on Dec 19 and opened the washing machine internal panel and said the entire part needed to be replaced as it was broken and said it would cost Rs 1460 for the repair (the internal switch within the wash tub which is used to divert water flow to and fro between wash tub and spin tub got broken). When we objected stating that not even 1 year had passed since purchase he said that plastic parts were not covered in the warranty. Spoke to Helpline again on Dec 19, 2011 they declined to waive off Rs 1500 and instead provided Delhi area number : 66179999 for Mr Manoj. He incidentally never bothers to pick the call.

                              Our Videocon washing machine worked well for 12 years without any complaint but surprisingly Whirlpool washing machine gave up in 5 months.
                              I think they already know that these plastic parts are susceptible to easy breakage and have thus not covered them in the warranty.Whirlpool could have simply placed a rotating knob on the main panel to allow diversion of water instead of this small sensitive part which is so susceptible to breakage . Do not buy Whirlpool machines at any cost , they only cause headache . Whirlpool India I hope you are listening !!! Please repair

                              I had purchased a whirlphool double door refrigerator vide model no. 12086 and serial number INA[protected] on 26th April 2010 having a warranty period of 1 year for refrigerator and period of 5 years for compressor.

                              Further please note that one part in the door got defected and I have lodged a complain with Whirlphool on telephone in second week of January 2012 for the same vide complain number DL[protected] wherein the engineer had told us that he will be getting the part replaced within 1 week.

                              Eventually this refrigerator turning out to be the nightmare for me, since than I was regularly following up with the service manager Mr. Azad Alam (Mob. [protected]) over phone for the part in turn he leaves us with hope of getting this done in a day or two.

                              In addition to this I had sent a pics of defected part to Mr. Sanjay D. Khalate (Mob. No. [protected]) over mail in turn he said he played his part by sending this part to Mr. Azad.

                              Now, Its more than 3 months of lodging complain and this refrigerator is still not got repaired even after repeated reminders over phone, and the response from the Service Manager is not acceptable for leaving us with only hope of getting this replaced.

                                I purchased whirlpool master mind refrigerator of double door of 250 liters from Pradeep Radio and TV Centre Mohan Singh Market Sector 1, R.K.Puram New Delhi on 12.02.2011. Since 18.12.2011 there is no cooling and the it is running non stop, I had complained in your customer care centre and one of your Technician visited on the same day and said the problem is due to gas leakage and on 19.12.2011 the same was filled by your technician and was told that the the problem will be solved after two hours. Even after a lapse of 5 hours the problem still existing. Again I have lodged a complaint and the request No. is DL[protected]. I kindly request you to kindly send a senior technician and get my problem solved as early as possible.

                                  We have been badly cheated by Whirlpool Appliances India and intend to move the consumer court in case the company fails to refund our complete purchase amount of Rs 22,500 for fully automatic washing machine model 360 degree bloom wash graphite (code 12634), purchased on 8th October 2011 from Better Deals, Janakpuri.

                                  The sequence of events is as follows:

                                  1. Machine was bought on 8.10.11. While demonstration on 15.10.11, the engineer informed us that the machine is defective as its sensors were not working properly. (Service request no. DL [protected], DL [protected], DL [protected])

                                  2. Machine was replaced for the 1st time on 3.11.11 (scan attached)

                                  3. On 9.11.11, we were informed that the bellaue valve was defective and had to be replaced. We were charged Rs. 500/- for replacement and the part was replaced on 9.11.11 itself. (scan attached)

                                  4. On 21.11.11, we were informed that the inlet valve was defective and had to be replaced. (scan attached)

                                  5. Machine was replaced for the 2nd time on 22.11.11 (scan attached)

                                  6. The replaced machine was an old/ used piece and had an internal defect. The engineer took the request for replacing the machine. (scan attached) (DL [protected], DL [protected], DL [protected])

                                  7. Machine was replaced for the 3rd time on 6.12.11 (scan attached)

                                  8. This time, the replaced machine was a broken piece where the dispenser lock and box were defected.

                                  9. Machine was replaced for the 4th time on 11.12.11. The engineer has not visited till date to examine the same.


                                  We are fed up with Whirlpool's antics of replacing our newly purchased machine with old, defected ones. After 4 replacements and endless complaints to customer care numbers, we are left with no time or patience to keep up with Whirlpool's complete lack of credibility and service.

                                  We have been badly cheated by the company and demand a complete refund of our money.

                                    i purchased the proton series whirlpool refrigerator (330 lt.) on 15jan,2011. later on, i found that there is some manufacturing fault. so, i complaint for that in customer care. the company's engineer visited at my home and asked to make a draft in the favour of whirlpool of india limited of rs. 500.00 and you'll get the new fresh
                                    piece. i gave the same draft received from nisha jain on sep.5,2011 to the branch office in rohini sector-2, delhi-110085.
                                    the company dispatched the refrigerator twice from their badarpur office and each time i got the dented piece. also, there were some scratches on the door and some rubbing difference was also there
                                    in the paint.
                                    i send the same complaint three times via email to the whirlpool of india. but sill, no action has been taken till yet.
                                    so, i am requesting you to please dispatch the fresh new piece as soon as possible.

At the time of purchases water trey of this model broken, I complaint in this regarding in July'11 but problem not solve as on date. So, please request you to resolve/change water trey my problem.

                                        These is to inform you that i have been using whirlpool refrigerators since long time but as I brought whirlpool refrigerator professional model 310 ltr with 6 sense around 12 months but the vegetable box has been broken and I also inquired about these product to Jagir Enterprise, Mithapur, Dist. Jamangar. Tal :- Dwarka several times but till today I have not received the box. so what should I do ? . I had brought these product from Jagir Enterprise.
